Population administration and civil registration in West Bangka play a crucial role in managing population data and providing administrative services to the public. This study evaluates the potential for utilizing artificial intelligence to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of these services, while also identifying challenges that may arise during implementation. This research aims to analyze the potential use of artificial intelligence in population administration and civil registration in West Bangka Regency, particularly in efforts to support efficient data management, identity verification processes, and the enhancement of transparency and accountability in public services. The methods used include a qualitative approach and a systematic literature review. Data collection was conducted through various academic sources, scientific journals, and other reliable sources, followed by a comprehensive analysis to identify patterns and differences in the existing literature. The results indicate that artificial intelligence holds great potential for accelerating administrative processes, optimizing resource utilization, and improving the quality of public services. The implementation of artificial intelligence can also enhance transparency and accountability in data management through activity logging and more structured data presentation. This study concludes that while the adoption of artificial intelligence in population administration and civil registration in West Bangka has the potential to bring about significant improvements in efficiency and service delivery, thorough preparation is needed in terms of infrastructure, education, and regulations

Hypertension remains a major global and national health challenge, including in Indonesia. It is driven by both non-modifiable and modifiable risk factors. One of the primary obstacles in hypertension management is long-term medication adherence, which is significantly influenced by patient knowledge. This study aims to analyze the relationship between knowledge level and medication adherence among hypertensive patients at the Mempawah Health Center, Mempawah Regency. This quantitative study utilized a correlational design with a cross-sectional approach. A total sample of 106 hypertensive patients was selected using a purposive sampling technique based on specific inclusion criteria, including having hypertension for more than six months. Data were collected using a validated 12-item knowledge questionnaire and the 8-item Morisky Medication Adherence Scale (MMAS-8). Bivariate analysis was conducted using the Gamma correlation test. The majority of respondents were in late adulthood (45.3%), male (55.7%), had an elementary school education level (42.5%), and were unemployed/housewives (43.3%). Most respondents demonstrated a moderate level of knowledge (64.2%) and moderate medication adherence (53.8%). Statistical analysis revealed a significant relationship between knowledge level and medication adherence among hypertensive patients (p = 0.005) with a moderate positive correlation (r = 0.511). There is a significant positive relationship between the level of knowledge and adherence to taking medication among hypertensive patients at Mempawah Health Center. Enhancing public health education and targeted nursing interventions are essential to improve patient comprehension and treatment compliance

The Marine and Fisheries Business Operator Card (KUSUKA) is a government program designed to improve fishermen’s access to data registration, business assistance, protection, and insurance. This study aims to analyze the socioeconomic characteristics of fishermen, their perceptions of KUSUKA, and the relationship between the two in Bagan Barat Village, Bangko Subdistrict, Rokan Hilir Regency. The study was conducted in October 2025 using a quantitative approach through a survey of 35 KUSUKA recipient fishermen using purposive sampling. Data were analyzed using a Likert scale and Spearman’s rank correlation test. Results indicate that fishermen’s perceptions fall into the “fairly good” category; fishermen understand the card’s basic functions, but its benefits have not yet been fully realized. The correlation test indicated a non-significant relationship between socioeconomic characteristics and fishermen’s perceptions (p = 0.425 0.05), with a weak correlation strength. Therefore, enhanced outreach, mentoring, and optimization of the KUSUKA program’s services are required

Live transportation of fish seed under high density and prolonged travel duration remains a major challenge in aquaculture due to increased metabolic activity, oxygen consumption, water quality deterioration, and mortality risk. This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of turmeric extract as a natural anesthetic for Dumbo catfish (Clarias gariepinus) seed transportation by assessing behavioral responses and survival performance. The experiment was conducted using a completely randomized design with four treatments, namely 0, 5, 10, and 15 mL turmeric extract per 5 L water, with three replicates for each treatment. A total of 600 fish were transported for eight hours, and behavioral score, behavioral index, recovery time, water quality, and survival rate were evaluated. The 5 mL/5 L treatment produced the most stable mild sedation, maintaining body balance, operculum movement, and rapid recovery after transportation. The survival rate was highest in this treatment (98.67 ± 1.15%), followed by 10 mL/5 L (94.00 ± 2.00%), 15 mL/5 L (90.00 ± 2.00%), and control (88.00 ± 2.00%). Turmeric extract at 5 mL/5 L is a promising natural anesthetic alternative for improving Dumbo catfish seed transportation efficiency, although further validation under different transport conditions is required

Indonesia is a country with exceptionally high biodiversity, yet it faces serious threats from human activities such as land use change, illegal logging, and mining activities, which trigger habitat fragmentation and threaten the genetic diversity of various species. This study aims to assess conservation strategies at the species and population levels, with particular attention to the Agarwood tree (Aquilaria malaccensis), as a strategic effort to support the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 15 (Terrestrial Biodiversity). A Systematic Literature Review was used to integrate relevant scientific evidence. The analysis shows that focused population management through a combination of in situ and ex situ conservation is crucial for the survival of endangered species. Furthermore, the implementation of agroforestry systems was found to be an effective strategy that integrates climate change mitigation (SDG 13), food security (SDG 2), and improving community well-being. Successful implementation of this strategy requires data-driven policy support, cross-sector collaboration, and recognition of indigenous peoples' rights to sustainable forest management

This study aims to analyze ethical dilemmas in sponsorship practices among university students, focusing on the case of online gambling promotions in Singaraja. The rapid development of digital technology has encouraged students to utilize social media not only as a means of communication but also as a source of income through sponsorship activities. However, this practice raises ethical issues when the promoted content conflicts with legal norms and moral values. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach with documentation techniques sourced from online news and supported by relevant scientific literature. The results indicate that student involvement in online gambling promotions is influenced by economic factors, exposure to the digital environment, and low awareness of digital ethics. Furthermore, weak oversight by educational institutions and a lack of education related to digital ethics contribute to this phenomenon. Therefore, universities are expected to improve digital literacy, strengthen ethics education, and develop more effective monitoring systems to prevent similar cases from recurring in the future
