Abstract

The problem in this study will reveal the application of active and creative learning methods at Madrasah Aliyah Darul Ulum Banyuanyar Palengaan Pamekasan, this study aims to describe the learning methods applied in Madrasah Aliyah Darul Ulum Banyuanyar. and using descriptive qualitative method with primary data collection through interviews and observations while secondary data obtained through documentation. The results of the study indicate that the application of learning methods in Madrasas has not been effective because they still use conventional methods such as the lecture method, discussion method, and demonstration method. It is necessary to develop a variety of learning methods so that the learning process becomes active and creative

Abstract

The problem of the erosion of local community traditions, one of which is “mamacah” tradition in Madura, which was identified from field data and facts, requires the participation of educational institutions, namely village customary institutions which should exist at the village level whose function is to provide education to the community about education to maintain arts and culture. . The Mamacah tradition has problems with various temporary factors, namely the development of the times and social change factors that affect the low interest of the younger generation as the successors of this tradition. This requires further study of how traditional institutions in the village accommodate village traditions through the steps of fostering the younger generation. The accommodation of the traditional institutions of Lobuk village is carried out by implementing “Mamacah” training education which is intensively taught to the young generation of the village with a convergence approach. By maintaining communication with village youth, Mamacah education can run harmoniously and continuously. The success of Lobuk village as the only independent village in Madura cannot be separated from the intensity of the education of the traditional institutions in it as a form of cultural capital for the knowledge of the young generation of the village and the symbolic capital of the establishment of educational institutions of traditional village institutions that continuously carry out arts and cultural education in the area including mamacah

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran yang memanfaatkan aplikasi media sosial dalam proses pembelajaran daring pada mata pelajaran sosiologi yang diberikan kepada siswa SMA Negeri 12 Maros Kecamatan Cenrana Kabupaten Maros. Media pembelajaran yang memanfaatkan aplikasi media sosial penting untuk diteliti, mengingat bahwa media pembelajaran dengan sistem daring sebagai dampak pandemic covid-19, masih berlangsung pada tahun 2021. Selain itu, belum diketahui secara pasti sistem pembelajaran di dalam kelas akan kembali dilaksanakan. Karena itu, sangat penting untuk mendapatkan media pembelajaran dengan sistem daring yang tepat dan efektif yang dapat diterapkan di dalam kelas di tingkat Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA). Selama masa pandemic covid-19, SMA Negeri 12 Maros masih menggunakan sistem pembelajaran daring yang digunakan dalam media pembelajaran di setiap bidang studi. Untuk mendukung proses pembelajaran tersebut, banyak guru yang memanfaatkan aplikasi media sosial, antara lain whatsapp (WA), zoom, google classroom, dan sebagainya, sebagai alat belajarnya. Selain kemudahan dalam penggunaan, aplikasi media sosial juga cukup akrab digunakan oleh generasi milenial termasuk siswa. Dalam proses pengajaran, guru umumnya menggunakan satu media sosial saja, baik dalam penyampaian materi, diskusi maupun pemberian tugas. Dengan hanya satu perangkat aplikasi media sosial yang digunakan, pencapaian efektivitas proses pembelajaran tidak terlalu maksimal, sehingga penting untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran daring yang menggunakan aplikasi media sosial, yang menjadi tujuan penelitian ini. Untuk mencapai tujuan pengembangan media pembelajaran yang menggunakan aplikasi media sosial, penelitian kolaborasi ini akan menerapkan beberapa aplikasi media sosial dalam satu kali pertemuan kelas sebagai upaya pengembangan media yang terdiri dari: (1) tahap perencanaan (planning), (2) tahap uji coba (experimental), (3) tahap pengembangan (development), (4)tahap implementasi (implementation), (5) dan tahap evaluasi (evaluation). Instrumen yang digunakan dalam evaluasi untuk menilai pengembangan media pembelajaran tersebut adalah lembar penilaian yang dilakukan pada akhir setiap pertemuan pelajaran. Kemudian dari hasil penelitian melalui kuisioner dan wawancara yang diperoleh dari siswa dan guru, yaitu pengembangan media pembelajaran daring dengan melalui media sosial yang dapat digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran pada mata pelajaran sosiologi adalah sekitar 84, 5% yang tidak setuju dengan media pembelajaran daring karena menurut para siswa banyak hal yang mereka tidak pahami.

Abstract

This research raises democratization of Islamic education through application of Islamic Education Institution Management, SBM as a tool for educational institution to realize democratic Islamic education. Law No. 20 of 2003 concerning National Education System and quality assurance through 2005 Law on National Education Standard which all demonstrate the democratization of education. This study uses a qualitative approach by describing application of School-Based Management in Islamic educational institution, and analyzing that application of School-Based Management is a way of realizing democratic Madrasah. The results of the study showed that the reference of implementation of SBM in Madrasah starts from Law no. 2 of 1989, No. 20 of 2003, PP No. 19 of 2005 and PP No. 55 of 2007. The strategy of SBM implementation is autonomy, empowerment, independence and flexibility. While the stages of its implementation are by way of socialization, formulation of vision and mission goals, identification of challenges, identification of functions, SWOT analysis, alternative solutions, quality improvement plan, implementation of quality improvement, and evaluation and monitoring. Implementation of School-Based Management strongly shows the existence of democratization in education, this is reflected in principles of a democratic form of Islamic education including respect for the potential of Madrasah, dynamic curriculum and the creation of synchronization of educational institutions with community as customer.

Abstract

The Ministry of Education and Culture released a form letter in 2019 called Merdeka Belajar containing the policy of simplification of the RPP/Lesson Plan. Therein explained about the new format of lesson plan that only need to put or include 3 core components which are; Learning objectives, Learning activities and Assessment rather than putting all of the components from the usual lesson plan. Regarding to the new policy, this qualitative study aims to know teachers’ perception on it and collect their opinions toward the simplification of RPP/Lesson Plan using questionnaires as the instrument. The result showed that teachers agree that the 3 components are the most important components to be included in the lesson plan preparation. The result also showed that although few of them think additional attachmentsare still needed, while others think that it will be better to arrange and have such kind of lesson plan, which is simple but solid.

Abstract

The aims of this research are to: (1) develop instructional video media for appropriate Madurese language subjects at the junior high school level. (2) determine the quality of learning video media for Madurese language subjects that are appropriate at the junior high school level. The design of this research is research and development (research & development). This development research is a development with 3 steps, namely: (1) planning: determining needs and objectives, collecting sources, and generating ideas. (2) design: making flowcharts, making storyboards, and preparing scripts. (3) development: producing video and audio, programming materials, preparing supporting components, evaluating and revising. The results of the evaluation of the learning media that have been made are (1) based on student responses about the Madurese language learning video media used in schools which are in the medium criteria category, can be used but need minor revisions, namely 72.58 according to the percentage of criteria. (2) Based on the results of expert validation about the Madurese language learning video media used in schools, it is in the category of low criteria and can be used but needs revision, which is 70.00 according to the percentage of criteria.

Abstract

This study discusses the progressive thinking put forward by a young pesantren kiai from Madura, namely Lora Thohir. Lora Thohir's progressive thinking brings a new color to pesantren education in general and in particular to the progress of education at Mambaul Ulum Bata-Bata Islamic Boarding School. In this study, it is very interesting to study as an effort to preserve the ideas of various figures in Islamic boarding schools who have contributed to the progress of Islamic education in Indonesia, including the results of Lora Thohir's thoughts on the progress of Islamic boarding school education. Then, library research is the type in this research with a descriptive-explorative qualitative approach. In other words, this research is a character study with data analysis using content analysis techniques through inductive patterns. Furthermore, the results of this study indicate that the existence of Lora Thohir has significantly positive impacts on the progress of education at the Mambaul Ulum Bata-Bata Islamic Boarding School. With progressive thinking, he is able to provide a new color for the development of pesantren education in the midst of modernization life with technological advances without having to leave the traditional values ​​of pesantren. The influence of Lora Thohir's progressive thinking in the field of education in general demands the formation of a complete human being or a perfect human being in the students. Meanwhile, in the implementation of Lora Thohir's progressive thinking in Mambaul Ulum Bata-Bata Islamic Boarding School Education, it is proven by the existence of several programs to develop knowledge among the students in the pesantren.

Abstract

The purpose of this reserach to examine and analyze the implementation of social and religious rehabilitation during the COVID-19 pandemic for Narcotics addicts at the Galilea Drug Rehabilitation Center in Palangka Raya, Central Kalimantan. In addition, what impacts arise as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic on the implementation of the existing rehabilitation program at the Rehabilitation Center. The study was conducted qualitatively through a descriptive analysis approach with purposive sampling technique through interviews with the management of the rehabilitation center, guardians of addicts, and representatives of addicts who have completed their rehabilitation period. The results showed that the social rehabilitation program in the form of a Therapeutic Community (TC) was the application of a structured environmental control method to change behavior in the context of a responsible community between fellow residents as well as helping oneself. Abstract

Multicultural Islamic Education is an educational model that is believed to be an effective means of instilling multicultural values ​​into students  so that they are expected to accept and respect all kinds of differences that exist as a necessity and sunnatullah. Azyumardi Azra is a reformer in the world of Indonesian education who is concerned in discussions about pluralism and multiculturalism so that his thoughts on the multicultural Islamic education model are very important to study. This study aims to describe Multicultural Islamic Education in the perspective of Azyumardi Azra. There are 2 focus of study in this research include; First, the concept of Multicultural Islamic Education in Azyumardi Azra's perspective. Second, the values ​​of Multicultural Islamic Education in Azyumardi Azra's perspective. This research approach is a qualitative research and belongs to the type of literature research, which requires processing of philosophical and theoretical meaning related to values. The results of this study indicate that; First, Multicultural Islamic Education in Azyumardi Azra's perspective is oriented to the formation of human beings who are faithful, devoted, become competent experts, accept the cultural diversity that exists in response to demographic and cultural changes in the community. The purpose of the multicultural Islamic education curriculum is directed at the formation of human beings who have Islamic wasathiyah insights. The content of the multicultural Islamic education curriculum must contain; 1) have an element of wisdom by reaping peace. 2) able to narrate the national aspect. 3) covers multicultural subjects such as; tolerance, ethno-cultural, religion, mediation, human rights, democracy and plurality. The relevant method is active learning. While the urgency is as a strategic step to overcome the phenomenon of extremism and radicalism. Second, the values ​​of Multicultural Islamic Education according to Azyumardi Azra include; 1) Tasaamuh/tolerance, 2) Wasathiyah/moderate, 3) Takriim/mutual respect, 4) Humanity/humanity, 5) Peace.
