Abstract

This community training program is designed to enhance financial reporting skills for individuals with disabilities who run creative businesses. Many disability-based micro and small enterprises encounter challenges in recording transactions, separating personal and business finances, and preparing simple financial statements, which limits their access to funding and business growth opportunities. The aim of this program is to improve participants' understanding and practical skills in creating basic financial reports, such as cash flow records, income statements, and simple balance summaries. The method used involves participatory training that includes interactive lectures, guided practice, simulation of bookkeeping cases, and direct mentoring sessions tailored to participants’ accessibility needs. The evaluation was carried out using pre- and post-training assessments along with practical exercises. The results demonstrate a significant improvement in participants' comprehension of financial recording concepts and their ability to prepare structured financial reports independently. Participants were able to apply basic bookkeeping tools that are appropriate for the size of their businesses. In conclusion, inclusive and practice-based financial reporting training effectively enhances managerial capacity and supports the sustainability of creative businesses led by persons with disabilities.

Abstract

Global Mandiri Patrol School, a private educational institution located in Indramayu, West Java, faces challenges in disseminating information to students, parents, and the wider community due to the absence of official digital information media. This research aims to implement a Content Management System (CMS)-based school website to support the digital transformation of educational institutions. The community service method is designed participatively through five stages: (1) program socialization, (2) teacher and staff training, (3) technology implementation for website development, (4) intensive website management mentoring, and (5) evaluation and sustainability planning. The research results show that the school website has been successfully launched with all planned features, 2–3 staff members have been trained in content management, and sustainability commitment from school leaders and the foundation has been documented. Measurable social impacts include improved information transparency, enhanced school communication efficiency, increased institutional image, and support for school accreditation processes. Regarding partner capacity, this activity has increased digital literacy among school teachers and staff and opened opportunities for sustained innovation. The conclusion of this research is that school website development is an effective strategic step in supporting the digital transformation of educational institutions and improving service quality to the community

Abstract

This community service aims to improve the competence of vocational school students in the field of cyber security through training activities and the effective use of learning technology. Vocational school students as prospective skilled workers need to be equipped with basic cybersecurity competencies to protect personal data and understand cyber risks. The method of implementing activities includes coordination with the school, module development, and intensive training using lecture, discussion, practicum, and demonstration methods. In addition, this activity utilizes information technology such as digital simulations for phishing and malware threats, as well as password strength testing tools. The results of the service showed that the activities carried out ran smoothly and had a positive impact in improving students' understanding and competence of cyber security threats. This service is expected to produce graduates who have critical thinking, creative, and problem-solving skills who are ready to enter the world of work

Abstract

Hypertension is one of the non-communicable diseases whose prevalence continues to increase and contributes significantly to morbidity and mortality in the community. Hypertension prevention efforts need to be implemented through promotive and preventive community-based approaches. This activity aimed to identify community health problems and improve public knowledge regarding hypertension in RT 04, Padukuhan Wonocatur, Banguntapan District, Bantul Regency. The method used was a community diagnosis with a quantitative descriptive design. Data were collected through questionnaires, observations, and interviews involving 45 respondents selected using purposive sampling. Problem prioritization was determined using the USG method (Urgency, Seriousness, Growth), which identified hypertension as the top health priority. The interventions included hypertension education, blood pressure screening, and elderly exercise sessions. The results of the pretest and posttest evaluations showed an increase in community knowledge after the educational intervention. Community-based hypertension education was found to be effective as a preventive effort against non-communicable diseases.

Abstract

Information technology outsourcing, particularly through the adoption of cloud-based services, has been widely implemented by higher education institutions to improve efficiency and flexibility in academic services. Despite its potential benefits, outsourcing practices also introduce several strategic risks, one of the most significant being vendor lock-in. Vendor lock-in occurs when an institution becomes highly dependent on a single technology provider, resulting in high costs, time, and risks associated with switching to alternative vendors. This article aims to identify the risks of information technology outsourcing and technology vendors in higher education institutions, with a specific focus on vendor lock-in risks in the implementation of cloud-based Learning Management Systems (LMS). The study employs a targeted literature review of twelve international journal articles related to IT outsourcing, cloud computing, and risk management. The findings indicate that vendor lock-in is a dominant risk closely associated with contract and Service Level Agreement (SLA) issues, data security and privacy concerns, hidden costs, and the loss of internal control and competencies. These risks have significant economic impacts through increased switching costs and budget uncertainty, as well as educational impacts through potential disruptions to learning services and risks to academic data security. This article recommends strong contract design, early exit strategies, the adoption of open standards, and the strengthening of internal competencies as key measures to mitigate vendor lock-in risks in higher education institutions. Abstract

Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengatasi degradasi lingkungan dan rendahnya kesadaran ekologis di kawasan permukiman perkotaan, khususnya di kalangan pemuda di Musholla At-Taubah, Tebet, Jakarta Selatan. Meskipun Al-Qur’an mengandung nilai-nilai lingkungan yang kaya, pemahaman masyarakat dalam mengintegrasikan ajaran spiritual dengan praktik hidup berkelanjutan masih terbatas. Program ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran lingkungan dan literasi Al-Qur’an melalui penerapan konsep Green Qur’anic Living yang didukung oleh inovasi “Arsitektur Pilar Al-Qur’an” sebagai media pembelajaran visual. Metode yang digunakan meliputi pendekatan edukatif, partisipatif, dan berbasis aksi melalui workshop, sosialisasi, serta kegiatan lingkungan secara langsung. Kegiatan utama meliputi pengenalan struktur Al-Qur’an melalui visualisasi arsitektural, edukasi mengenai tanaman dan buah yang disebutkan dalam Al-Qur’an, serta pembagian bibit tanaman sebagai bagian dari inisiatif “satu rumah satu tanaman”. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman terhadap struktur Al-Qur’an, meningkatnya kesadaran perilaku ramah lingkungan, serta partisipasi aktif masyarakat dalam kegiatan penghijauan. Selain itu, program ini juga berhasil menghasilkan luaran nyata berupa maket pilar Al-Qur’an, materi edukasi, serta draft publikasi ilmiah. Kesimpulannya, integrasi nilai-nilai spiritual dengan aksi lingkungan praktis melalui pendekatan Green Qur’anic Living terbukti efektif dalam mendorong perilaku berkelanjutan dan memperkuat keterlibatan masyarakat, serta memiliki potensi besar untuk diimplementasikan secara berkelanjutan dan direplikasi di konteks perkotaan lainnya.

Abstract

Graphic design is a highly relevant skill for today's digital generation. Graphic design allows for visual communication, allowing for easier understanding of ideas, concepts, and messages. Mastery of graphic design is crucial for teachers in creating creative, interactive learning media, and enhancing student interest and motivation. For students with non-IT backgrounds, graphic design is not a compulsory subject, requiring them to learn independently. Based on these issues, this community service activity was implemented as a form of training and mentoring related to the use of graphic design using the popular and easy-to-use Canva application. This activity was aimed at students belonging to the English Language Education Program Student Association, Faculty of Tarbiyah, State Islamic University of Salatiga. The results of the questionnaire evaluation showed that the program was very effective and exceeded the threshold of success. The overall average was 4.39 out of 5, with all respondents scoring at least 4. Facilities emerged as a key strength, with an average of 4.40, which facilitated smooth practice. Participants' self-efficacy was high at 4.39, with the material presented and delivery solid at 4.38. Assignments were rated clear and realistic, with an average score of 4.38, although a small number of participants still hoped for a more refined work rhythm. Relevance and impact were rated at 4.37, while satisfaction reached 4.38. Overall, the learning experience was rated excellent, objectives were achieved, and the foundation for the program's sustainability is strong.

Abstract

Kriya Songket Palembang merupakan UMKM yang memiliki nilai budaya tinggi, namun masih menghadapi kendala dalam pemasaran produk di era digital. Aktivitas pemasaran masih didominasi oleh penjualan langsung dan promosi dari mulut ke mulut, sehingga jangkauan pasar relatif terbatas. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mendampingi mitra dalam digitalisasi pemasaran songket melalui platform e-commerce dan media sosial. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendampingan partisipatif berbasis teknologi digital yang meliputi observasi awal, sosialisasi, pelatihan dokumentasi produk, pembuatan katalog digital, pengembangan dashboard analisis penjualan, pendampingan pembuatan akun e-commerce, optimalisasi media sosial, serta evaluasi berkala. Luaran yang ditargetkan meliputi tersedianya katalog digital produk, akun toko daring yang aktif, konten promosi media sosial yang terstruktur, e-book panduan promosi digital, serta peningkatan literasi digital pelaku usaha. Kegiatan ini juga diarahkan untuk memperkuat kemampuan mitra dalam pengelolaan stok, penyusunan deskripsi produk, dan pemanfaatan data penjualan sebagai dasar pengambilan keputusan bisnis. Secara lebih luas, program ini diharapkan mampu memperluas jangkauan pemasaran songket Palembang, meningkatkan daya saing UMKM, serta mendukung pelestarian warisan budaya lokal melalui pemanfaatan teknologi digital.

Abstract

Mastering computer networking cannot rely solely on theory. Students at SMK Darussholihi NW Kalijaga still face limited access to hands-on practical training, even though skills in managing MikroTik devices are essential for entering the workforce or even starting a business in the technology sector. This community service program was designed to bridge that gap through a structured and application-oriented training approach. The main objectives are to enhance students' understanding and technical skills in installing, performing basic configurations, managing bandwidth, and implementing simple network security using MikroTik. The program was carried out in three stages: first, lectures and demonstrations to explain core concepts and show configuration examples; second, hands-on practice with instructor guidance using both simulation tools and actual hardware; and third, evaluation through simple network building trials and problem-solving discussions. The expected outcomes include improved digital competence in network administration, the development of a practical guide module as a learning resource, and the availability of video tutorials for self-paced learning. With these skills, students are expected not only to be more confident in pursuing certification exams, but also better prepared to meet the demands of the industry and the business world in the digital era.

Abstract

The development of the quality of Human Resources (HR) is a decisive factor in the modernization of the agribusiness sector in the era of digital transformation. This community service activity aims to increase the capacity of human resources of the Mukti Sadaya Organic Farmer Economic Institution (KEP) in Tasikmalaya Regency. The main problems faced by target partners include non-functional organizational structures, overlapping conventional division of labor, manual administration, and the use of devices that have not been optimized to support group productivity. The implementation method used is Participatory Capacity Building through the stages of organizational diagnosis, group management workshops, applied digital literacy training, and intensive mentoring. The results of this activity show that there is a real increase in professionalism, institutional governance and technological proficiency for 24 members of farmer groups. The benefits obtained include the realization of a systematic organizational structure, the preparation of internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and the implementation of a cloud storage-based digital administration system. The conclusion of this activity emphasizes that the integration between strengthening group internal management and mastery of digital literacy is the main foundation in creating an independent, transparent, and ready farmer organization to face modern economic dynamics.
