Abstract

Abstract

The Mabarsanji tradition in Masakambing Village is an Islamic cultural heritage that functions as a means of internalizing the values of Islamic education, especially in the aspects of faith, morals, social and morals. Initially only carried out in commemoration of the Prophet's birthday, this tradition developed and became part of various religious events. Its uniqueness lies in the influence of Madurese culture and the involvement of the entire community in its implementation. However, there are still challenges in understanding the contents of the book Al-Barzanji. This research aims to examine the values of Islamic education in Mabarsanji so that this tradition is not only preserved, but also its meaning is understood. This study examines the internalization of Islamic educational values within the Mabborsanji tradition in the Bugis community of Masakambing Village. The focus includes the implementation, the Islamic values contained within, and the process of internalization within local wisdom. This tradition plays a role in the learning of faith, morality, and social values for the local community. This study employed a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through interviews with religious and community leaders, as well as direct observation of the Mabborsanji tradition and documentation. Data analysis employed the Miles & Huberman model, which encompasses data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Data validity was checked using source and technique triangulation. The results of this study indicate that Islamic educational values, such as love for the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), exemplary morals, and worship and social values, are indirectly taught through the Mabborsanji tradition. Internalization of these values is achieved through a habitual approach, daily life experiences, and the role of religious and family leaders in providing a deeper understanding. This tradition also plays a role in strengthening social ties and strengthening their Islamic identity

Abstract

In the context of Islamic education, there are several terms for educators, such as mu'allim, ustadz, murabbi, muyrsid, mudarris, and mu'addib. Each term has a different meaning, depending on the context of the sentence, although in certain situations there are similarities in meaning between them. The word "mu'allim" comes from the verb "allama" in the past tense (madhi) which means "to teach", in the present tense (mudhari) it is "yu'allimu" which means "is teaching", and the isim fa'il (actor) form is "mu'allim" which means "educator". The term "mu'allim" is the most commonly used word and is often found in the hadiths of the Prophet Muhammad. Mu'allim refers to a person who has knowledge and is able to develop it and explain the function of knowledge in life, both theoretically and practically. Mu'allim are also tasked with transferring knowledge, internalizing, and implementing practices.

This study uses a qualitative method with a library research approach sourced from the Qur'an, hadith, classical and contemporary literature, as well as academic articles related to digital ethics and Islamic education. The results of the study show that digital ethics in Islam are based on the values of manners and morals that emphasize the importance of honesty, trustworthiness, responsibility, and politeness in the use of technology and online communication. These ethics serve as moral guidelines for Muslims to avoid negative behaviors such as spreading hoaxes, hate speech, and privacy violations. In addition, Islamic education has a strategic role in shaping students' ethical character through the integration of Islamic values into the curriculum and digital learning practices. Thus, the application of digital ethics based on Islamic values can create a generation of Muslims who are noble, wise in using media, and responsible in utilizing technology as a means of da'wah and for the benefit of the ummah.

Abstract

This study examines the function of educational psychology and its relevance to the teacher’s role in learning evaluation from As-Syarqawi’s perspective in Al-Ta’allamu Nadhariyat wa al-Tathbiqat. The study arises from the tendency of evaluation practices to focus mainly on cognitive outcomes while neglecting motivation, readiness, affective and psychomotor aspects, as well as individual differences. Employing a library research method, it analyzes classical works and modern educational psychology literature to construct an integrative perspective. The findings reveal that educational psychology helps teachers understand learners holistically, design objective and adaptive evaluations, and address learning difficulties. As-Syarqawi emphasizes that educational theory and practice must be integrated, and that evaluation should not be limited to cognitive achievement but must also consider moral, ethical, and spiritual dimensions. This integration results in a more scientific, humanistic, and comprehensive evaluation model, ultimately aiming to shape students into insan kamil.
