Abstract

This study aims to identify the influence of education quality, labor absorption, and poverty level on the unemployment rate. The method used in this study is quantitative descriptive, utilizing secondary data in the form of a cross-section from the Central Statistics Agency (CSA) website. The population in this study was 34 provinces in Indonesia. The sampling technique applied was saturated sampling, where the entire population of 34 provinces was sampled. The data analysis used multiple linear regression for data testing. The study's findings indicate that individual testing shows a more diverse picture; education quality and poverty level do not affect the unemployment rate, and labor absorption positively affects the unemployment rate. This study has implications for the complexity of the unemployment issue and the importance of a holistic approach in formulating policies to address these problems. These results can be a reference for related parties to develop more effective policies and programs in dealing with unemployment problems.

Abstract

This scholarly investigation analyses the determinants that affect customer satisfaction, loyalty, and trust within Islamic banking. The data source used in this study is primary data, which is obtained through the provision of structured questionnaires. The study population encompasses customers of Islamic banking institutions in Riau, Indonesia. The sampling technique employed is simple random sampling. The sample size was determined using the Slovin approach, resulting in a sample of 204 respondents. This study is quantitative, and an explanatory survey was analyzed using the SEM-PLS technique. The study outcomes indicate that service performance, digital banking application service quality, and customer relationship management positively influence customer satisfaction. In contrast, digital banking transformation does not affect customer satisfaction. Furthermore, customer satisfaction has a positive effect on customer loyalty and trust. Subsequently, customer satisfaction can mediate the influence of service performance, the quality of digital banking application services, and customer relationship management on customer loyalty and trust. In contrast, customer satisfaction cannot mediate the influence of digital banking transformation on customer loyalty and trust. Theoretically, this study contributes to the advancement of marketing theory and becomes a reference for further research. Practically, it can be a reference for Islamic banks to improve their performance regarding customer satisfaction, loyalty, and trust.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate implementing sustainable halal tourism practices on Rubiah Island, Sabang, Indonesia, emphasizing the integration of local wisdom rooted in Acehnese culture and Islamic Sharia principles. The study examines how these elements contribute to a unique form of tourism that respects religious and cultural diversity. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through literature review, stakeholder interviews, and field observations. Data analysis involved thematic analysis to identify recurring themes and insights regarding the influence of Acehnese local wisdom and Islamic Sharia principles on tourism practices on the island. Key sustainable tourism practices include halal-certified activities such as environmentally responsible snorkeling, promoting hospitality, and dolphin-friendly tourism that minimizes disturbances to marine habitats. Notably, Rubiah Island adheres to a policy of no permanent structures, maintains curated tour packages, highlights its historical significance, and is near protected forest areas. These efforts underscore Rubiah Island's commitment to sustainable tourism principles, aiming to preserve its natural beauty and cultural heritage while providing a halal-friendly experience for visitors. This research contributes to understanding how sustainable practices can be harmoniously integrated with Islamic values and local customs to enhance tourism development in Aceh.

Abstract

This study analyzed the effect of product diversity, service quality, and perceived value on repurchase intention mediated by omnichannel-based consumer satisfaction. The population of this study were Indonesian citizens aged over 17 years who impulsively buy their daily needs online and offline, the number of which is unknown. The sampling technique used random sampling, with sample measurement using the Hair approach, to obtain a sample of 250 respondents. Primary data were collected through questionnaires distributed online and analyzed using SEM-PLS with the help of the SmartPLS application. The results showed that product diversity, service quality, and satisfaction positively affected repurchase intention, while perceived value did not affect repurchase intention. Furthermore, product diversity and service quality positively affected satisfaction, while perceived value did not affect satisfaction. Satisfaction can mediate the effect of product diversity and service quality on repurchase intention, while satisfaction cannot mediate the effect of perceived value on repurchase intention. Theoretically, this study can add insight and be a reference for further research on repurchase intention. In practice, this research provides recommendations and an overview of omnichannel marketing-based business units in meeting consumer needs.

Abstract

This study analyses the mediating role of digital innovation variables on the relationship between green human resource management (GHRM) and sustainability performance. This research method uses a mixed method, combining primary data in questionnaires and focus group discussions (FGD). This study also uses an experimental approach, which treats respondents, so the questionnaire is distributed to respondents 2 times. The findings of this study indicate that digital innovation can mediate the relationship between GHRM and sustainability performance. In addition, this study also proves that there is an increase in the role of digital innovation as a mediator after treatment compared to before treatment. This finding provides theoretical implications that GHRM can be supported by digital innovation so that it can be a reference for further research. This finding can be a reference for the government and start-up technology companies to accommodate the needs of companies in implementing GHRM. This is important because the starting point for companies to perform sustainability is to equip employees to be aware of the importance of the environment and sustainability.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Sharia compliance, subjective norms, and knowledge on the interest of MSME actors in using Sharia crowdfunding mediated by perception. This study uses a quantitative approach with a population of 155,696 MSMEs in Kendal Regency. Sampling used a purposive sampling method with specific criteria, so a sample size of 97 MSME actors was obtained. The data source uses primary data obtained from questionnaires distributed via Google Forms. The study results indicate that Sharia compliance, subjective norms, and knowledge positively affect the interest of MSME actors in using Sharia crowdfunding. Sharia compliance and subjective norms have a positive effect on perception. However, knowledge does not affect perception. Then, perception cannot mediate the relationship between Sharia compliance, subjective norms, and knowledge with the interest of MSME actors in using Sharia crowdfunding. This study can provide insight into the relationship between Sharia compliance, subjective norms, and knowledge with interest and perception. This research can be a reference for future research and for Islamic financial institutions to increase the interest of MSMEs in using Islamic crowdfunding. It can also be more extensive in campaigning against usury, especially for MSME actors.

Abstract

Many countries have carried out the boycott, divestment, and sanction (BDS) movement. Research on this topic contains an interesting sentimental side and needs to be mapped to help future research. This study aims to determine the problem's evolution and mapping, along with sentiment analysis related to BDS. This study uses a descriptive statistical analysis approach combined with meta-analysis and sentiment analysis of secondary data in the form of metadata from 81 Scopus-indexed articles published over the past 15 years, which were then processed using NVivo 15. The findings of this study reveal that the majority of studies have a somewhat negative perspective on BDS. Negative sentiment shows that many studies use sharp and negative sentences, as well as sentences that cause debate; this is related to the "Hasbara" propaganda built by Israel, while positive sentiment on this topic is small due to the lack of research using positive sentences about BDS. This study can provide knowledge about the sentiment of the boycott movement and be a reference for future research. This research can be helpful for pro-Palestine parties and BDS supporters in increasing publications on the boycott movement from various sectors so that it becomes a means to support Palestine’s independence.
