Abstract

This study aims to analyze the project based learning learning model according to student perceptions, student views and the constraints faced by students in the project based learning learning process. Project based learning is a learning model that makes students the subject or center of learning, which focuses on learning processes that have results in the form of products. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative, with questionnaires and interviews as instruments. one out of three students interviewed was a student who had high enthusiasm for project based learning, while the other two students had learning difficulties. In this study the researchers found that most students were very enthusiastic in the learning process, but there were still some students who experienced difficulties or obstacles in the learning process. In conclusion, the learning-based learning model according to students' perceptions is fun and easy to understand because it is directly practical. The limitation in this research is that there are few participants who are willing to be interviewed. Therefore, future studies are expected to have more participants

Abstract

Society is always changing, so too the curriculum will experience changes and improvements. Indonesia on a large scale in its educational history, has often experienced curriculum changes, this is based on changes and demands and the needs of students and the same society. The curriculum is a tool used to achieve an educational goal and a guideline for educators in implementing learning at all levels and types of education, without a good and correct curriculum it will be difficult to achieve educational goals and objectives. The problems in this study are problems that arise from the implementation of the independent curriculum due to the incompatibility of the field with the conditions that should be. This study uses a qualitative approach. The type of research is a case study. A case study is a detailed examination of the background or a single subject, or a collection of single documents, or a particular event. Case studies can also be interpreted as research conducted to reveal a situation in depth, intensively, both regarding individuals, individuals, and groups, and community institutions. Based on the findings of the study related to the implementation of the independent curriculum MANU Putra Buntet that the independent curriculum is still not one hundred percent implemented in Madrasah, however there are already classes that implement the independent curriculum, for now only class X MA, and only class X implements it. The principal of MANU Putra Buntet is very influential in overcoming teacher problems in implementing the independent curriculum in Arabic language subjects. Various policies are implemented so that the implementation of the independent curriculum can be successful in this institution. The first thing the principal does is solve all existing problems and then find solutions. Based on the results of research conducted in the implementation of the independent curriculum in Arabic language subjects at MANU Putra Buntet, the Islamic boarding school initially had various problems from the independent curriculum that had not been fully implemented. There are several problematic things in the implementation of the independent curriculum that are being resolved little by little. Among them are the principal's efforts to accommodate the aspirations of teachers, especially Arabic language teachers, through coaching and training in the independent curriculum. After going through several phases and processes, everything became more conducive and better. Keyword: Problems, Independent Curriculum, Arabic

Abstract

This study aims to explore and identify the oppositions present in the novel Tutur Dedes: Prayers and Curses by Amalia Yunus. The analysis is grounded in Julia Kristeva’s theory of intertextuality, which emphasizes the relationships between texts and the ways in which meanings are shaped through these connections. By employing a library research approach and utilizing descriptive qualitative methods, the study systematically examines the textual elements to reveal contrasting themes and ideas embedded within the narrative. The analysis identifies key oppositions, notably the conflict between the War of Ganter and the depiction of the female knight. These oppositions highlight the complex portrayal of women in the novel, illustrating them as empowered agents capable of making independent decisions and fully aware of their personal needs and desires. Furthermore, the novel demonstrates that women can exert significant influence on societal decisions and contribute to transformative changes within their communities. The findings underscore the novel’s contribution to literary discussions on gender, power, and social agency, revealing how intertextual connections reinforce the representation of women as autonomous and influential figures. This study contributes to a deeper understanding of how literary oppositions function to challenge traditional norms and expand the discourse on women’s roles in contemporary literature.

Abstract

Evaluating Digital-Based Birth Certificate Service Quality at the Population and Civil Registration Office of Tomohon City. Digital-based birth certificate services represent a concrete manifestation of bureaucratic transformation anchored in information technology. However, the success of this transformation cannot be measured solely by the availability of digital infrastructure; it must be critically evaluated from the perspective of real user experience. This study aims to evaluate the quality of birth certificate services at the Population and Civil Registration Office of Tomohon City in the post-pandemic period (July–December 2025), using three dimensions of the ServQual model operationalized in the digital public service context: tangible, reliability, and responsiveness. A descriptive-evaluative qualitative approach was employed with data collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The evaluation results reveal that despite the end of the pandemic and the full operation of the e-Dukcapil system, the gap between technological capacity and human resource readiness as well as community digital literacy remains a persistent structural barrier. The novelty of this study lies in its analysis of the technology-readiness gap in civil registration services in the post-pandemic era in a high-HDI region, which paradoxically still faces a digital service quality deficit.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the visual style of I Gusti Nyoman Lempad in the creation of drawings rooted in the aesthetics of traditional Balinese painting while representing contemporary Balinese life. The research employs an art-creation methodology (practice-based research) comprising stages of observation, documentation, exploration of tools and techniques, digital design processing, and the realization of the artworks. Observations focused on Lempad’s works at the ARMA Museum in Ubud, specifically examining line characteristics, composition, and the use of space. Visual data consisting of photographs depicting Balinese community activities—was processed using the IbisPaint application to serve as the foundation for developing the designs. The research resulted in four drawings titled Ngempu, Asiknya Bermain, Sebelum Persembahan, and Mebraya. These works depict social phenomena and the daily activities of the Balinese people through a visual approach that adapts Lempad’s distinctive line style. The findings demonstrate that line can function as the primary element in establishing form, rhythm, expression, and visual meaning within the artwork. The application of the sigar technique further enhances the impression of volume and depth without compromising the dominance of the line. The study offers a novel contribution by integrating traditional Balinese linear aesthetics, Lempad’s visual approach, and digital technology within the drawing creation process. The results indicate that the visual values of traditional Balinese art remain relevant for development within the context of contemporary visual art and serve as a medium for reflecting on the social phenomena of modern society.

Abstract

This research was driven by the existence of a research gap between academic theory and empirical facts regarding the fluctuations in profit growth within the food and beverage industry listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2021–2024 period. The primary problem highlighted is the uncertainty surrounding the effect of internal financial performance indicators on profit growth amid intense market competition. To address this problem, the study utilized a quantitative method with descriptive and verificative approaches. A purposive sampling technique was applied, yielding 22 qualified companies and resulting in 88 observation data points over the four-year period. Multiple linear regression analysis utilising SPSS 26.0 software and traditional assumption tests were used to analyse the data. The scientific findings revealed that simultaneously (F-test), Net Profit Margin (NPM), Return on Asset (ROA), and Return on Equity (ROE) significantly influenced profit growth, contributing to a determination coefficient of 25.7%. Partially (t-test), NPM was proven to have a positive and significant effect, indicating that profit efficiency from sales acts as the main driver of profit growth. Conversely, ROA demonstrated no effect on profit growth, while ROE surprisingly exerted a negative and significant influence. The conclusion emphasizes that a high equity ratio without strict cost efficiency tends to suppress net profit growth, therefore management is advised to prioritize operational cost efficiency to sustain profit margin stability.

Abstract

Online Physical Education, Sports, and Health learning presents several limitations because volleyball instruction requires not only theoretical knowledge but also an understanding of movement techniques, rules, facilities, and equipment. This study aimed to determine the level of tenth-grade students’ understanding of volleyball learning materials delivered through online instruction. This study employed a quantitative descriptive approach using a survey method. The research sample consisted of 50 students selected through proportional random sampling. Data were collected using a one-shot technique through a multiple-choice test distributed via Google Forms. The initial instrument consisted of 30 items, of which 25 items were declared valid after validity testing. The reliability test produced a coefficient of 0.638, which was higher than the r-table value of 0.279; therefore, the instrument was considered reliable. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics involving frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation. The results indicated that the students’ overall understanding of volleyball learning materials was categorized as high. Regarding the ability to identify basic volleyball techniques, 74% of the students were in the high category. The percentages in the high category were 44% for interpreting basic techniques, 42% for integrating prior knowledge with the material presented by the teacher, and 46% for explaining basic movements. For the indicator related to rules, facilities, and equipment, the largest proportion of students was in the moderate category, accounting for 48%. In conclusion, the students demonstrated a good understanding of volleyball learning materials, although their understanding of rules, facilities, and equipment still needs improvement.
