Abstract

Pendidikan sangat perlu beradaptasi dengan perkembangan teknologi informasi. Peran teknologi sangat penting untuk kemajuan Pendidikan anak-anak. Perkembangan teknologi membawa dampak yang sangat besar, selain memberikan dampak positif pada dunia Pendidikan, perkembangan teknologi yang sangat cepat ini mampu memberikan dampak yang negatif kepada anak-anak. Oleh karena itu, peran dan keterlibatan orang tua dalam mengatasi tantangan pendidikan anak menjadi sangat penting. Pada saat ini teknologi digital berkembang sangat cepat yang mengharuskan orang tua bersikap cermat dalam penggunaannya. Tujuan penulisan literatur review ini adalah untuk 1) mendeskripsikan keterlibatan orang tua dalam penggunaan dan pemanfaatan teknologi digital untuk Pendidikan anak, 2) Dampak penggunaan teknologi untuk Pendidikan anak. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah literature review. Literatur review ini diperoleh dari artikel ilmiah dari rentang tahun 2018-2022 dengan menggunakan scopus dalam software Publish or perish (PoP) dan mendapatakn 29 artikel dengan kata kunci keterlibatan orang tua dalam penggunaan digital untuk Pendidikan anak. Dari 29 artikel dilakukan identification, sreening, dan eliglibility, kemudian diperoleh 8 artikel yang sesuai dengan tujuan literatur review dan kriteria penulis. Berdasarkan analisa artikel yang kesimpulan dari kajian ini 1) Terdapat beberapa keterlibatan orang tua dalam penggunaan teknologi untuk pendidikan anak antara lain menggunakan teknologi digital untuk mengelola komunikasi, mengelola aktivitas online anak-anak, menjadi fasilitator untuk mencari informasi; 2) Dampak penggunaan teknologi untuk Pendidikan anak terdapat dampak positif dan negative. Dampak positif seperti membantu interaksi, pencarian informasi, dan mampu memhami, mengetahui, dan memenuhi kebutuhan anak baik untuk perkembangan maupun untuk pendidikan anak. Dampak Negatif seperti kekhawatiran masalah privasi.

Abstract

Keterampilan berpikir kritis adalah kemampuan kunci yang diperlukan untuk menghadapi kompleksitas dunia modern. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi peran guru dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa sekolah dasar melalui pembelajaran berbasis masalah. Metodologi penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus di sekolah dasar yang menerapkan pembelajaran berbasis masalah. Partisipan penelitian terdiri dari guru-guru yang terlibat dalam pengajaran di sekolah dasar yang dipilih. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi kelas, wawancara dengan guru, dan analisis dokumen terkait dengan pembelajaran berbasis masalah. Data kualitatif dianalisis menggunakan pendekatan analisis tematik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran guru sangat penting dalam membentuk keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa melalui pembelajaran berbasis masalah. Guru berperan sebagai fasilitator, pemimpin, dan model peran dalam konteks pembelajaran berbasis masalah. Strategi pengajaran yang digunakan oleh guru, seperti pemberian pertanyaan terbuka, diskusi kelompok, dan pemecahan masalah, berdampak signifikan pada pengembangan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan yang mendalam tentang bagaimana peran guru dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa sekolah dasar melalui pembelajaran berbasis masalah. Implikasi praktis dari penelitian ini adalah pentingnya pelatihan dan dukungan bagi guru dalam mengimplementasikan strategi pembelajaran yang merangsang keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga memberikan kontribusi teoritis terhadap pemahaman tentang pembelajaran berbasis masalah dan pengembangan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the inhibiting factors become obstacles for teachers in implementing the independent learning program at SDN 2 Sanden. This research is descriptive qualitative research with the determination of informants using a purposive sampling technique. The sources of information for this research consisted of four class teachers and the school principal. Data collection techniques using interviews and observation. Test the validity of the data using the credibility test of the source triangulation technique. The data obtained was then analyzed using the Miles and Hurbermen technique or model which consists of data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions and verification. The results showed that there were many problems implementing the independent curriculum, one of which was the teacher's constraints in implementing the independent curriculum. The obstacles included difficulties in preparing learning tools according to the independent curriculum guidelines, lack of facilities and infrastructure, and teachers have difficulty adapting to the Independent Curriculum. Change cannot be obtained instantly, good cooperation is needed between all parties, both teachers, school principals, agencies, parents, and other related parties. The independent curriculum is expected so that students can develop according to their potential and abilities.

Abstract

Efek pandemi covid-19 menyebabkan banyaknya keterbatasan dalam pengimplementasian pembelajaran. Tak terkecuali bagi pendidikan yang membelajarkan pendidikan pancasila dan kewarganegaraan. Penerapan hybrid learning diharapkan menjadi solusi sehingga proses pembelajaran dapat tetap terlaksana dengan baik. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan perkuliahan melalui tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi serta faktor yang mempengaruhi hybrid learning dalam pembelajaran PPKn pada mahasiswa PGSD di Universitas Sanata Dharma. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, pengamatan, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa PGSD USD mata pelajaran PPKn SD dengan objek 47 mahasiswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkkan bahwa pengimplementasian hybrid learning dilakukan dengan 3 tahap yakni 1) perencanaan dengan menyiapkan perangkat pembelajaran, 2) pelasanaan yang mencakup durasi belajar, kehadiran, perangkat, dan platform yang digunakan, dan 3) evaluasi sebagai bentuk dari penilaian serta faktor yang mempengaruhi implementasi dari hybrid learning yakni dosen pengajar selaku pembimbing dalam pelaksanaan perkuliahan, kemudian mahasiswa yang menjadi lebih kreatif dan mandiri, serta aplikasi dan platform selaku fasilitas yang digunakan dalam mencari berbagai sumber pelajaran. Tak hanya itu ada juga faktor penghambat implementasi dari hybrid learning yakni sangat bergantung pada sinyal.

Abstract

The differentiation approach in learning styles has become a significant subject of attention in the educational context, especially at the elementary school level. This research aims to explore the implementation and impact of differentiated learning on content, processes and learning products in elementary schools based on student learning styles. Based on a review of literature and related research, it was found that content differentiation allows teachers to present open-ended material tailored to students' needs and level of understanding. Meanwhile, process differentiation helps in adopting diverse teaching strategies that suit each student's learning style. Additionally, product differentiation provides students with opportunities to express understanding through different types of assignments or projects, allowing for creative development of talents and interests. The research results show that the approach to learning styles has a positive impact in creating a learning environment that supports and improves overall learning outcomes. Therefore, differentiated learning in elementary schools is becoming increasingly important in supporting the successful learning of each student.

Abstract

This research discusses the effectiveness of professional teacher education in developing educational technology skills in the digital era, focusing on mastery of technological competencies, management of online learning, and creativity in teaching. In an increasingly digitized context, teacher education programs must be able to answer the challenges faced in utilizing technology in the learning process. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study design, involving 10-15 teachers who have attended professional education programs related to educational technology. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation and documentation analysis to gain comprehensive insights. The results show that professional teacher education significantly improves technology skills, helping teachers to be more confident in using digital tools and creating interactive learning experiences. However, implementation challenges, such as limited internet access and inadequate devices, are barriers that need to be overcome through institutional support. This study provides recommendations for the improvement of professional teacher education programs to be more effective in preparing teachers for the evolving demands of education in the digital era.

Abstract

This research explores the effectiveness of using technology as a medium for introducing the cultural heritage of traditional Indonesian attire to elementary school students. Cultural education plays an essential role in shaping students' identities and fostering an appreciation for Indonesia’s rich diversity from an early age. Traditional lecture-based methods, which are often limited to textbooks, tend to be less engaging and struggle to deepen students’ understanding. Therefore, there is a need for innovative approaches that leverage technology to create a more interactive and contextual learning experience. The study employs a literature review from academic articles, books, and reports on the use of technology in cultural education. The findings indicate that the use of three-dimensional imagery, videos, and interactive multimedia significantly enhances student interest and comprehension of traditional attire. These technological tools provide visually engaging representations, enabling students to grasp the meaning and cultural significance embedded in traditional clothing elements through a richer and more immersive learning experience. This research contributes to the development of technology-based educational resources for cultural studies in elementary schools, highlighting the importance of technological innovation in cultural education. Integrating technology into cultural learning offers an effective approach for introducing students to Indonesia’s diverse traditional attire, thus enriching their cultural understanding and engagement.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the influence of Augmented Reality (AR) technology in science learning in elementary schools. AR is proven to be effective in helping students understand science concepts that are difficult to explain through conventional methods, such as the solar system and photosynthesis, by providing interactive three-dimensional visualizations. It can also increase student motivation and engagement, making learning more interesting and fun. In addition, AR supports the development of critical thinking and problem-solving skills through simulated virtual experiments. Despite its great potential, AR implementation faces challenges related to the cost of devices, infrastructure and teacher training. To overcome this, support from various parties is needed, including the government, private sector, and educational institutions. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method with interviews, group discussions, observations, and document analysis in three elementary schools. The results are expected to provide insights into the benefits of AR in improving concept understanding, critical thinking skills, as well as identification of challenges and optimal strategies in its implementation. Hopefully, the findings can provide recommendations for educators and policy makers in effectively integrating AR in the science learning curriculum in elementary schools

Abstract

Traditional games have an important role in developing social skills of elementary school students through interactive and fun learning. In the context of modern education influenced by the development of digital technology, traditional games offer a solution to overcome the decline in children's social interaction. This research explores the application of traditional games as learning media to improve students' communication, cooperation and empathy skills. Through observations, interviews and document analysis, it was found that games such as congklak, engklek and galah asin not only teach moral values such as honesty and responsibility, but also introduce students to the rich local culture. Despite challenges such as limited facilities and teachers' lack of understanding, creative solutions such as training and technology integration can support the implementation of these methods. The results show that traditional games help students build self-confidence, think critically and strengthen social relationships. In addition to being an educational tool, these games are also a means of cultural preservation that is relevant in the midst of globalization. Collaboration between teachers, parents and communities is needed to ensure the sustainability of traditional games in education. With the right approach, traditional games can be an innovative learning alternative that supports students' holistic development.

Abstract

Learning in primary schools plays an important role in shaping students' cognitive, emotional and social abilities. One of the main challenges faced is students' lack of concentration in the learning process. Rapidly evolving digital technology exacerbates this problem, with distractions from digital devices reducing students' focus. To address this, implementing mindfulness in learning can be an effective solution. Mindfulness can improve concentration, reduce stress, and help students manage their emotions. This study aims to explore the application of mindfulness in elementary schools as an effort to improve students' concentration. A descriptive qualitative approach was used involving 5 teachers, 10 students, 5 parents, and 2 education experts as research subjects. Data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation, and analyzed using thematic analysis. The results showed that mindfulness can improve students' focus, despite challenges such as lack of training for teachers and resistance from parents. With the right support, mindfulness can be effectively applied to support students' academic and social-emotional development in elementary school
