Jurnal Riset Pendidikan Dasar Dan Karakter merupakan jurnal yang bergerak di bidang penelitian bidang pendidikan dasar yang mengakomodir pengintegrasian nilai-nilai karakter dalam setiap aktivitas publikasi. Jurnal Riset Pendidikan Dasar dan Karakter diterbitkan dua kali dalam satu tahun, yaitu pada bulan Februari dan Agustus. Jurnal Riset Pendidikan Dasar dan karakter merupakan publikasi ilmiah yang bertujuan menyebarluaskan hasil-hasil penelitian Dosen dan Mahasiswa di bidang Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar, serta tenaga pendidik di lingkup Sekolah Dasar/MI dan Pendidikan Guru Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini. Ruang Lingkup Riset meliputi bidang: Matematika SD, Pembelajaran IPA di SD, PKn SD, Pembelajaran IPS di SD, Bahasa Indonesia, Bahasa Inggris, PAUD (Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini), serta berbagai Inovasi Pembelajaran yang disarankan tetap mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai karakter dalam setiap publikasi.

Abstract

This writing is motivated by educators in the integrated thematic learning process that has not been fully implemented. The purpose of this paper is to describe the improvement of the thematic integrated learning process using the Problem based learning (PBL) model assisted by video media at SDN 39 Pasar Gompong, Pesisir Selatan Regency.This type of writing is Class Action Writing (CAR), using qualitative and quantitative approaches. The subjects of this writing are writers (practitioners), educators (observers) and fourth grade students at SDN 39 Pasar Gompong, Pesisir Selatan Regency, totaling 16 people. The results of the writing show an increase in the integrated thematic learning process in grade IV. This increase can be seen from: the learning implementation plan (RPP) in the first cycle of the first meeting was 62.5%, in the first cycle of the second meeting it was 67.5% and in the second cycle it was 75%. The implementation of learning in the educator aspect in the first cycle was 64.28, in the first cycle the second meeting was 67.8% and in the second cycle it was 75%. The implementation of learning in the aspect of students in the first cycle was 64.2%, in the first cycle the second meeting was 67.8% and in the second cycle was 78.57%. Based on these results, it was concluded that the Problem based learning (PBL) model assisted by video media could improve the integrated thematic learning process in class IV at SDN 39 Pasar Gompong, Pesisir Selatan Regency. an average of 61.65, b) In the first cycle of the second meeting, the average score was 63.75 and c) in the second cycle of the first meeting, the average score was 89.5.

Abstract

  Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh proses belajar siswa yang masih rendah dengan masalah yaitu: proses pembelajaran masih berpsat pada guru atau teacher center,  guru juga kurang memaksimalkan siswa yang pandai dalam pembelajaran sebagai tutor dalam sebayanya, serta interaksi siswa dengan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran masih rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui  Pengaruh Model  Tutor  Sebaya Terhadap  Hasil Belajar Siswa Kelas IV SDN 10 Surau Gadang Kota Padang. Jenis penelitian yaitu Quasi Eksperimental Design, dengan desain penelitian Nonequivalent Control Group Design.  Populasi  penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas I V SDN  10 Surau Gadang dengan sampel 39 siswa.  Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan tes hasil belajar berupa soal objektif sebanyak 10 butir soal, data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji t. instrument dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari, rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran (RPP), kisi-kisi soal, soal tes, kunci jawaban tes. Berdasarkan analisis data maka diperoleh  hasil uji hipotesis dengan uji-t dan menunjukkan  thitung= 4,557  dan ttabel=  2,026. Jadi dapat disimpulkan “Terdapat Pengaruh Model  Tutor Sebaya Terhadap  Hasil Belajar Siswa Kelas IV SDN 10 Surau Gadang Kota

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low reading skills of students in thematic learning and to make it easier for students to read, educators must be able to choose the right method to improve students' reading skills. The Spell method is a learning method that emphasizes letter-by-letter recognition. The purpose of this study was to examine students' reading skills using the spelling method, especially in the journals of the last 5 years. The research method used in this research is library research. The author collects more than 10 references related to history, reading skills using the spelling method. Data collection techniques used through library research. The results of this study were obtained in journals published in the last 5 years. The spelling method has a significant effect on the achievement of cognitive competence and problem solving skills. Based on the results of reviews from these journals, the spelling method can be categorized as very suitable to be applied to learning in elementary schools. Based on the results of the study, the use of the spelling method in learning in elementary schools was stated to be very good

Abstract

This research was conducted at SDN 07 Sikabu Munto on The Development of Pictorial Story-Based Teaching Materials in Integrated Thematic Learning in Grade 3 behind teacher learning using only LKS and student books as a source in delivering learning materials,students are sleepy and unfocused inlearning. The purpose of this study is to know the validity and practicality of pictorial story-based teaching materials. The research design used is research and development. This study sample was a 3rd grade elementary school student numbering 20 students. The data collection techniques in this study use expert validation sheets and practicality questionnaires of teachers and learners. The development of this teaching material uses microsoft word 2016 application. The selection of this application is based on its easy use. Validation results are obtained from 90% material experts with very decent categories, linguists 80% with decent categories, 90% design experts with very decent categories, and practicality tests by 3rd grade teachers with a percentage of 87% with very decent categories and by learners with a percentage of 89% very decent categories. So it can be concluded that The Pictorial Story-Based Teaching Material in Integrated Thematic Learning in Class 3 is very suitable for use in SDN 07 Sikabu Munto Kecamatan Sutera Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan.

Abstract

This study was motivated by several issues: the LKPD content did not meet learning objectives, it did not use any instructional model, and the illustrations lacked color, reducing students’ interest. The aim of this research is to develop and validate an LKPD based on the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) model. This is a research and development (R&D) study using the 4-D model, which includes define, design, develop, and disseminate stages. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the study was limited to small-scale dissemination. Validation results from three experts indicated a very high level of validity: design scored 3.71, language 3.16, and content 3.81 (all categorized as very valid). Practicality tests showed scores of 93.7% from teachers and 91.6% from students (very practical). Effectiveness scores were 95.31% for PB 1 and 95.75% for PB 2 (very effective). Therefore, the CIRC-based LKPD is highly valid, practical, and effective for use in fourth-grade integrated thematic learning

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh hasil belajar tematik terpadu peserta didik kelas III SD Negeri 19 Pasar Ambacang masih di bawah KKM. Penyebabnya peserta didik kurang antusias dan kurang aktif dalam pembelajaran, kurangnya interaksi antara pendidik dan peserta didik pembelajaran kurang inovatif. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh yang signifikan penggunaan media audio visual terhadap hasil belajar tematik terpadu pada pembelajaran tematik terpadu di kelas III SD Negeri 19 Pasar Ambacang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah Nonequivalent Control group Design. Dalam design ini terdapat dua kelompok, dimana kelompok pertama diberikan perlakuan menggunakan media audio visual dan kelompok kedua tidak diberikan perlakuan menggunakan media. Kelompok yang diberikan perlakuan disebut kelompok eksperimen (kelas eksperimen) sedangkan kelompok yang tidak mendapat perlakuan disebut kelompok kontrol (kelas kontrol). Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas IIIA SD Negeri 19 Pasar Ambacang dan sampelnya kelas III eksperimen, SD Negeri 43 Dadok Tunggul Hitam IIIB kelas kontrol. Data yang diperoleh menggunakan uji-t >(22,446 > 2,020). Berdasarkan analisis data diperoleh hasil pengujian data dari kelas sampel yaitu berdistribusi normal dan homogen. Selanjutnya yang dilakukan adalah uji hipotesis dengan uji-t menunjukkan dan dengan dk = n1 + n2 – 2. Berdasarkan pengujian>(22,446 > 2,020) maka H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima, dapat disimpulkan bahwa “Hasil belajar peserta didik yang menggunakan media audio visual lebih baik dari pada hasil belajar peserta didik yang tidak menggunakan media audio visual”.

Abstract

Research was motivated by the low achievement of student learning outcomes in mathematics lessons. This happens because students do not play an active role in learning and teacher assessments still use manual methods. This problem can be seen from the students' scores which are still below the Minimum Learning Completeness (KBM). This research aims to determine the effect of quizizz on student learning outcomes in class V mathematics subjects at SDN 9 Kunpar, Sijunjung Regency. This research is an experimental research with a Quasi Experimental design and a Randomized Posttest Only Control research design. The population in this study was class V students at SDN 9 Kunpar, Sijunjung Regency, 2021/2022 academic year, totaling 40 students. Sampling used saturated samples, and the two classes that were the research subjects were class VA as the experimental class, class VB as the control class. Based on the results of hypothesis testing using the t test method, the data obtained is a value of tcount = 5.475 with a difficulty level of 5% with the test criteria if tcount > ttable then H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected. Where the number of test takers in the experimental class was 21 students with an average of 88, while in the control class the number of test takers was 19 people with an average of 77. The standard deviation of the experimental class (S=5.6) was lower than the control class (S= 7.2). The results of the t test are tcount= 5.475 and ttable=1.684. From the research results, it is proven that the use of Quizizz web has an influence on students' mathematics learning outcomes on scales and plans in class V of SDN 9 Kunpar, Sijunjung Regency, 2021/2022 academic year

Abstract

This research is motivated by several problems, namely: Teachers are less creative in conducting the online learning process, student learning outcomes are not optimal, students are less independent in the learning process,Model Blended Learning in integrated thematic learning has not been applied optimally. The purpose of this study was to determine student learning outcomes in terms of student learning independence by using thelearning model Blended Learning in integrated thematic learning subjects. The method used in this research was Quasi Experimental Design, the design of this study is Posttest Only Control Group Design. The results of this study are seen from the results of hypothesis testing with t-test and show tcount= 4,557 and ttable= 2,026 with dk = 37 (n1 + n2 – 2 = 20 + 19 – 2 = 37) and a significant level of 5%. Based on the t-test> t-table (4.557>2.026). So it can be concluded there is a significant effect of using themodel Blended Learning on integrated thematic learning outcomes in terms of student learning independence.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of interest of students in learning, because the media used is not yet concrete, the textbook used for science lessons on Water Cycle material has only one picture and no explanation, educators use the lecture method, the media used by educators is only can be seen by students without being able to try it themselves. This study aims to determine the validity, practicality and effectiveness of Pop Up Book learning media in science subjects for fifth grade elementary school.This type of research is R&D using a 4-D model (define, design, development, and dissemination). At the dissemination stage, a trial was conducted on 10 fifth grade elementary school students. The data collection instrument in this study was in the form of a validation sheet (for material experts, linguists, and media experts). Practical instruments are in the form of a questionnaire for educators and students and the effectiveness as seen from the learning outcomes of students.The results showed that the Pop Up Book media in the Water Cycle Science subject in class V with a material expert validation score of 92.5% with a very valid category, linguistic expert validation with a score of 95.8% with a very valid category and media expert validation with a score of 95.8% with a very valid category, and the average overall value of the validation with a score of 94.7% (Very Valid). For practicality results from 1 educator, the average score is 86,8% with very practical criteria, while for practicality the ten students get an average value of 85%with practical criteria. For the results of the effectiveness of getting an average value of 96.7% in learning 1 with very effective criteria, in learning 2 getting an average value of 97.3%. So it can be concluded that the development of Pop Up Book learning media in science subjects for fifth grade elementary school is very valid, practical, and effective

Abstract

Character education is very necessary for students at school level in forming a dignified national character and civilization. The ability of educators to implement character education in learning is very important. . The aim of this research is to describe: 1. Aspects of the accuracy of character values ​​2. Aspects of the presentation of textbooks 3. Aspects of textbook material 4. Aspects of textbook language. In this research, the approach used is a qualitative approach with the type of research being descriptive. The results of the analysis show that the character values ​​in the teacher's book are accurate, namely the values ​​of caring and politeness, but those found in the student's books are nationalist values ​​and the value of mutual cooperation. This means that the values ​​of caring and politeness are not found in books. The presentation aspect of the textbook in the book is good or suitable for use in the learning process, however, for example questions in the student's book it is only 50% lacking, there should be examples of questions in the book. Aspects of the textbook material in the book are good or suitable for use in the learning process, but in some materials it shows that the material presented is the same or repetitive. The fourth grade student's book, theme 1, the beauty of togetherness, needs to be revised and the author recommends the character values ​​contained in the book, namely the value of nationalism and the value of mutual cooperation. The presentation aspect of the textbook should be that there are examples of questions in the book, so that students can easily do the exercises in the student's book. Aspects of textbook material should be that the material presented is not repetitive but different so that students' level of understanding increases. The language aspect in textbooks on emotional development is even better if it is highlighted in student books.
