Jurnal Riset Pendidikan Dasar Dan Karakter merupakan jurnal yang bergerak di bidang penelitian bidang pendidikan dasar yang mengakomodir pengintegrasian nilai-nilai karakter dalam setiap aktivitas publikasi. Jurnal Riset Pendidikan Dasar dan Karakter diterbitkan dua kali dalam satu tahun, yaitu pada bulan Februari dan Agustus. Jurnal Riset Pendidikan Dasar dan karakter merupakan publikasi ilmiah yang bertujuan menyebarluaskan hasil-hasil penelitian Dosen dan Mahasiswa di bidang Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar, serta tenaga pendidik di lingkup Sekolah Dasar/MI dan Pendidikan Guru Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini. Ruang Lingkup Riset meliputi bidang: Matematika SD, Pembelajaran IPA di SD, PKn SD, Pembelajaran IPS di SD, Bahasa Indonesia, Bahasa Inggris, PAUD (Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini), serta berbagai Inovasi Pembelajaran yang disarankan tetap mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai karakter dalam setiap publikasi.

Abstract

This research is based on the low critical thinking of students due to the conventional teaching and learning process of teachers. Students have not been able to develop new knowledge actively, students have not been able to think critically in the learning process, students have not been faced with situations that cause conflict in students' minds, students have not been faced with problem solving during the learning process. This study aims to determine the effect of the take and give strategy on students' critical thinking in integrated thematic learning in class V UPT SDN 08 Inderapura Pancung Soal. The population of this study were students of class V UPT SDN 08 Inderapura Pancung Question where class A as an experimental class used a take and give strategy and class B as a control class using conventional learning, with a posttest only control design research design. The data collection in this study was using a critical thinking test in the form of a description of 9 items, the data obtained were analyzed using the t test. Based on the results of this study, it can be seen that t_count = 4.93020 and t_table = 1.70562 and the significant level is 5%. Based on the test t_count>t_(table )( 4.93020> 1.70562) then the hypothesis or H1 is accepted. From the results of the study, it is proven that the take and give strategy has a significant influence on students' critical thinking in integrated thematic learning in class V UPT SDN 08 Inderapura Pancung Soal for the 2021/2022 school year.

Abstract

This research was motivated by several problems, namely learning only using textbooks and delivering material using the lecture method. Based on these problems, an inquiry model-based powerpoint learning media was developed in integrated thematic learning in grade IV elementary schools on theme 3 sub-themes 1 learning 1 and 2. This research was conducted at SDN 19 Sitiung, Dharmasraya Regency. The purpose of this research is to produce valid, practical and effective learning media. The type of this research is research and development (R&D) using a 4-D model (define, design, development, disseminate. The data collection instrument in this study is a learning media validation sheet (for design, language, and material experts), practicality tests, and effectiveness test.The results of the validation test for developing PowerPoint learning media based on the Inquiry model with 4 validators were categorized as very valid, the results from the practicality test by one educator and eleven students were categorized as very practical, and the results of the effectiveness test by eleven students were categorized as very The level of validity obtained by the results of the validity test is the percentage of design feasibility (90.6%), language percentage (85%), material percentage 1 (91.6%) and material percentage 2 (93.3%). by educators get an average value (100%) and practicality test by students get an average value (100%).The results of the effectiveness test of the eleven students scored in learning 1 (93.6%) and learning 2 (92.7%). Proving that the development of PowerPoint learning media based on the Inquiry model in integrated thematic learning in grade 4 SD theme 3 sub-theme 1 learning 1 and 2 is declared valid, practical, effective and feasible to use. The advantages of this product are that it can attract the attention of students, increase students' understanding of the material, and encourage students to be active in learning

Abstract

Education functions to develop abilities and shape the character and civilization of a dignified nation in order to make the nation's life more intelligent. The problem expressed in this research is what character values ​​are seen in the integrated thematic learning process in class V of elementary school. The aim of this research is to see the application of character values ​​in the integrated thematic learning process. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach. The subjects of this research were fifth grade elementary school students. This research data was collected by conducting interviews, distributing questionnaires, documentation and observation. Data analysis in this research consists of four stages, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of this research were obtained from field research conducted at SDN 05 Jaruai Bungus Teluk Kabung, Padang City, academic year 2021/2022, namely that the dominant character values ​​seen in the integrated thematic learning process in class V at SDN 05 Jaruai Bungus Teluk Kabung, Padang City are character values. religious, honest, caring, responsible and disciplined. Based on research results from the results of the instruments that the author used during the integrated thematic learning process, there were religious character values ​​in 83% of the data, honest character values ​​in 78% of the data, disciplined character values ​​in 75% of the data, responsibility character values ​​in 90%. % data, and caring character values, there are 79% of students' data who apply character values ​​in class V of SDN 05 Jaruai Bungus Teluk Kabung, Padang City. Criteria for applying character values ​​at SDN 05 Jaruai Bungus Teluk Kabung, Padang City. Good character formed from now on will greatly determine the character of the nation in the future. Character will be well formed if that character is always implemented well in students' lives.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya pencapaian hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika yang disebabkan oleh terjadinya pemadatan materi pada jam pembelajaran tatap muka, siswa sulit membangun pengetahuannya sendiri, dan siswa tidak aktif dalam berdiskusi kelompok. Penelitian ini betujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penggunaan Model Blended learning dalam peningkatan hasil belajar matematika di Kelas IV SDN 19 Pasar Ambacang Kota Padang. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Jenis penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, masing-masing siklus terdiri dari 2 kali pertemuan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru dan siswa kelas IV SDN 19 pasar Ambacang Kota Padang. Data dalam penelitian ini adalah hasil pengamatan, soal test dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian dari setiap siklus yang dilaksanakan terlihat terjadinya peningkatan hasil belajar matematika siswa. Nilai rata-rata kelas yang diperoleh pada test siklus I sebesar 73,5 meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 84,5. Hasil belajar siswa ranah afektif pada siklus I, Nilai rata-rata kelas yang diperoleh 72,92 meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 87,75. Hasil belajar siswa ranah psikomotor pada siklus I, Nilai rata-rata kelas yang diperoleh 74,58 meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 75,83. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran Blended Learning dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran Matematika.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh belum adanya penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis komputer dalam proses pembelajaran seperti media audio visual, media animasi, multimedia interaktif, tidak memanfaatkan alat bantu yang ada seperti infokus, pendidik hanya berpanduan pada buku guru dan buku siswa saat mengajar, peserta didik kurang memahami materi pembelajaran karena banyak terdapat bahasa asing dan pembelajaran tidak interaktif. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengembangan, validitas, praktikalitas, dan efektifitas media pembelajaran berbasis multimedia interaktif pada materi sistem peredaran darah manusia di kelas V Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan data kualitatif dan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian R&D yang menggunakan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Pada tahap Implementation produk di uji cobakan kepada 20 orang peserta didik kelas V SD. Penelitian ini menggunakan beberapa instrumen pengumpulan data yaitu lembar validitas untuk ahli media/desain, dan ahli materi/isi. Instrumen praktikalitas menggunakan angket untuk pendidik dan peserta didik. Instrumen efektifitas menggunakan tes soal untuk hasil belajar peserta didik (post-test). Dari hasil penelitian dapat diketahui bahwa media pembelajaran berbasis multimedia interaktif pada materi sistem peredaran darah manusia di kelas V SD yaitu skor validasi ahli media 90% dengan kriteria sangat valid, validasi ahli materi 80% dengan kriteria valid. Untuk praktikalitas dari pendidik didapatkan skor 87,5% dengan kriteria sangat praktis, sedangkan untuk praktikalitas dari 20 orang peserta didik mendapatkan skor 96,1% dengan kriteria sangat praktis. Untuk hasil efektifitas mendapatkan nilai rata-rata 80% dengan kriteria efektif. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis multimedia interaktif pada materi sistem peredaran darah manusia di kelas V Sekolah Dasar sudah valid, praktis, dan efektif.

Abstract

This research is motivated by several problems, namely there is no availability of integrated thematic learning modules based on contextual teaching and learning (CTL), teachers lack of linking learning with problems that exist in students' daily lives, educators have provided guidebooks in the form of teaching materials but students students are less interested, the teaching materials are not many pictures, the teaching materials are dominated by colorless images, because the paper used is only newsprint and is packaged normally, the practice fields are limited, so students cannot maximize their answers to the exercises. This study aims to develop and validate a module based on contextual teaching and learning (CTL). The type of this research is R&D development research (Research and Development). The development model carried out is a 4D model consisting of the definition stage, the design stage, the development stage, and the dissemination stage. The results of the research on the development of an integrated thematic learning module based on contextual teaching and learning with three validators of Adzkia University lecturers and one teacher of 22 Mata Air State Elementary School were declared very valid. With the level of validity obtained at the module development stage, the percentage of design feasibility (92.5%) and language (85.7%) and material from lecturers (87.5%) and material from teachers (92.5%). and the practicality level of the teacher's contextual teaching and learning (CTL)-based module (93.75%) and the practicality of the five students' contextual teaching and learning (CTL)-based module is (95.30%) and the effectiveness of three students (Gicela 100%), (Lidya 98%), (Faizza 98%). So it proves that the module based on contextual teaching and learning in integrated thematic learning theme 8 sub-theme 1 is declared very valid and feasible to use.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the critical thinking skills of students who still have difficulty solving problems in learning, students who are less active in discussing with their friends, students who still have difficulty formulating questions and use conventional media. This research aims to see the influence of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model on students' critical thinking skills in integrated thematic learning in class V at SDN 05 Jaruai, Padang City. The type of research is Quasi Experimental Design with a Posttest Only Control Design research design. The population of this study was all class V students at SDN 05 Jaruai, Padang City for the 2021/2022 academic year with a sample of students from classes VA and VB (64 people). Data collection in this research used a critical thinking skills test in the form of objective questions totaling 17 questions. The data obtained was analyzed using the t test. Based on data analysis, the results of hypothesis testing using the t-test were obtained and showed that t_count = 2.815 and t_table = 1.670 and a significance level of 5%. Based on the test tcount > ttable (2.815 > 1.670), the hypothesis or H1 is accepted. So it can be concluded "Students' critical thinking skills using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model are than those without using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in integrated thematic learning in class V at SDN 05 Jaruai, Padang City, academic year 2021/2022."

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low student learning outcomes in integrated thematic learning this is due to the absence of cooperation between students in the learning process, students are not accustomed to expressing their opinions and the lack of student involvement in the learning process so that the learning process is only teacher-centered (teacher centered) and learning only uses the lecture and question and answer method. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Scramble-type cooperative model on student learning outcomes in integrated thematic learning in class IV UPT SDN 06 Pasar Taratak Pesisir Selatan. This type of research is a quantitative study with a Quasi Experimental design, using a posttest only control group design experimental design. Data collection in this study was an objective question in the form of multiple choice as many as 15 items, the data obtained were analyzed using t-test. Based on the results of this research, it can be seen that the t-count = 3.453 and t-table = 1.668 and the significant level is 5%. Based on the t-count > t-table (3.453 > 1.668) then H1 is accepted and HO is rejected. From the research results, it is proven that this scramble type cooperative model has an influence on student learning outcomes in integrated thematic learning in class IV UPT SDN 06 Pasar Taratak Pesisir Selatan for the academic year 2021/2022.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low critical thinking skills of students which is caused by teachers who rarely ask students, and the questions asked by teachers do not make students think critically, besides that teachers make children get bored quickly. This research aims to determine the influence of the Problem Based Learning model. (PBL) on students' critical thinking skills in class IV UPT SDN 06 Pasar Taratak Pesisir Selatan. This type of research is an experiment with a quasi-experimental research design. This type of research is an experiment with a quasi-experimental research design. The results of this research show that t = 4.442 and t table = 1.687 and the significance level is 5%. Based on the test tcount>t table (4.442 > 1.687), the hypothesis or H₁ is accepted. From the research results, it is proven that the problem based learning (PBL) model has a significant influence on students' critical thinking skills in class IV students at UPT SDN 06 Pasar Taratak Pesisir Selatan.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of motivation of students and to increase the effectiveness of students in doing the tasks that exist in the LKPD given by the educator. So that students are less active in the learning process. Along with the development of the era of technology in the field of information and communication and supported by the advancement of the internet, this also has an impact on the development of types of learning resources. The purpose of this research is to see the development of E-LKPD based on live worksheets in integrated thematic learning for fifth grade elementary school. This type of research is development research (R&D) using a 4D model (Define, Design, Development, Dissemination). Based on the results of the validation in terms of the material obtained a value of 84.3% (valid), in the language aspect it obtained a value of 82.1% (valid), and in the display aspect with an average value of 95% (very valid). The practicality level of E-LKPD from educators with an average value of 89.3% (very practical), and the practicality level of E-LKPD by students reaching an average value of 87.2% (very practical). The value of the effectiveness of the E-LKPD with an average of 88 obtained from the E-LKPD filling test by students Thus, it can be concluded that the E-LKPD based on live worksheets in Integrated Thematic Learning for Grade V Elementary School is valid, practical, and effective.
