LUGHATI : Jurnal Pendidikan Bahasa Arab. Terbit dua kali dalam setahun (Juni dan Desember) oleh Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Arab Universitas Kiai Abdullah Faqih Gresik bekerja sama dengan IMLA Indonesia. Merupakan jurnal multibahasa (Indonesia, Arab dan Inggris), mencakup isu-isu pembelajaran bahasa Arab dan kebahasaan yang diteliti dalam cabang linguistik terapan, seperti sosiolinguistik, analisis wacana, analisis wacana kritis, pragmatik, stilistika, linguistik korpus, penerjemahan dan lain-lain. Redaksi menyambut para cendekiawan, peneliti dan praktisi Pendidikan Bahasa Arab untuk mengirimkan artikel ilmiah untuk diterbitkan melalui jurnal ini. Abstract

The skill of reading Arabic texts the pesantren environment is something that is necessary for students to master. The superiority of a strategy or methodology used in studying it must be in line with the self-motivation of everyone. Therefore, harmony between strong tendencies and the advantages contained in a method is deemed necessary to improve reading skills. This research aims to: 1) Reveal the reality of low motivation and the tendency of students to improve Maharah Qira'ah; 2) Offering a problem-based idea to make Maharah Qira'ah learning successful. This study uses a phenomenological study with a qualitative approach. As for researchers as the main instrument, they directly participate in collecting data sourced from students, teachers, and policy makers at Islamic boarding schools, all of which are obtained through interviews, observation, and documentation. Furthermore, the data was analyzed using interactive descriptive analysis techniques. The findings in this study are 1) The low motivation of students in learning Maharah Qira'ah is influenced by several external and internal factors simultaneously; 2) Some of these problem-based ideas include: providing the right books, working with alumni stakeholders, building an interesting and fun atmosphere, and sharing with other students.

Abstract

Language as a communication tool and interaction tool that is only owned by humans, language can be studied internally and externally. Arabic is synonymous with the language of Islam. Indonesian people learn Arabic only to deepen the Islamic religion. This is very common, considering that Islam was revealed in Arab countries and the language used in worship is also Arabic, and the Al-Qur'an and hadith which serve as guidelines for adherents are also in Arabic. So it is very natural that learning Arabic focuses more on how to understand the Qur'an, hadith, classic books that discuss Fiqh, Interpretation and other sciences related to Islam. Along with the development of the times, Arabic is no longer only studied for the sake of religion alone, this is evidenced by the existence of Arabic language faculties which are not only in Islamic-based universities, but also in several public universities, both in Indonesia and abroad. offers Arabic as a superior program offered to students. This research aims to explore the Arabic language perspective in Islam and the international world. Library research is used as a methodology in this research, with various data sourced from books and scientific journals related to the topic. The results of this research state that the stigma of Arabic as the language of the Islamic religion cannot be separated from the role of Arabic as a source language and Islamic doctrine. International political developments require Arabic to become a language across Arab countries, religions and certain identities. Arabic is now able to compete with other international languages, so that in the future the orientation of learning Arabic will not be limited to the religious dimension, but all dimensions of international life.

Abstract

Buku serial pembelajaran Bahasa Arab untuk penutur asing Arabiyah Baina Yadaik merupakan salah satu diantara beberapa buku ajar yang fenomenal di kalangan para pembelajar Bahasa Arab sebagai bahasa kedua, khususnya di Indonesia. Buku terbitan lembaga Arabic for All ini telah mendapatkan tempat yang istimewa tersendiri, meskipun telah hadir pada beberapa dekade terakhir serial pembelajaran Bahasa Arab serupa dengan tampilan serta konten yang lebih menarik dan kekinian. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui secara ringkas muatan konten, metode yang digunakan, dan pola evaluasi yang terdapat pada buku serial tersebut, sehingga dianggap layak dan masih sesuai untuk diterapkan dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Arab. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif, sedangkan data yang bersumber dari buku serial Arabiyah Baina Yadaik diperoleh melalui teknik dokumentasi yang mencakup editing, organizing, dan finding. Adapun data tersebut dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis isi atau konten. Temuan dari penelitian ini adalah pemerataan porsi maharah dan anashir terdapat pada setiap bab, jumlah dan jenis kosakata yang digunakan di setiap jilid sesuai dengan tingkat umur pembelajar, unsur budaya yang melekat pada teks terbatas pada budaya arab dan internasional. Adapaun metode serta pola evaluasi yang diterapkan sangat jelas dan bervariatif, hal ini sesuai dengan beberapa kriteria yang telah dipaparkan oleh para pemerhati di bidang pembelajaran Bahasa Arab untuk penutur asing.

Abstract

Keterampilan menyimak merupakan salah satu keterampilan dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab, namun keterampilan menyimak siswa kelas III masih rendah. Salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menyimak rendah adalah dengan menggunakan permainan bisik berantai. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah (1) untuk mengetahui adakah pengaruh penggunaan permainan bisik berantai terhadap peningkatan keterampilan menyimak siswa kelas III MTs Tarbiyatul Wathon Kecamatan Glagah Lamongan dan (2) Untuk mengetahui seberapa besar dampak penggunaan permainan bisik berantai terhadap keterampilan menyimak siswa kelas III MTs Tarbiyatul Wathon. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan jenis eksperimen. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas tiga MTs Tarbiyatul Wathon Lamongan. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dengan memberikan dua tes yaitu pre-test dan post-test dan dokumentsi, kemudian menganalisis datanya menggunakan paired T-Test. Peneliti memperoleh hasil dari uraian tersebut menunjukkan bahwa (1) Terdapat pengaruh penggunaan permainan bisik berantai terhadap peningkatan keterampilan menyimak siswa kelas III MTs Tarbiyatul Wathon Glagah Lamongan. Nilai T-test untuk ini 8,27. Interpretasi tabel pada derajat 1% dan 5% menunjukkan derajat signifikansi 5% adalah 2,10 pada derajat 1% adalah 2,88, maka dapat diketahui antara perbandingan T-test dengan hasil 2,10<8,27>2,88. Karena nilai t-test lebih besar dari nilai t-tabel. Hipotesis nol (HO) ditolak dan hipotesis alternatif (Ha) diterima. Adapun besarnya pengaruh penggunaan permainan bisik berantai terhadap peningkatan keterampilan menyimak siswa kelas III MTs Tarbiyatul Wathon Glagah Lamongan sebesar 1,95. yang dikonsultasikan bahwa besarnya pengaruh adalah “sangat signifikan”.

Abstract

The maximum efforts in learning arabic students did not show good results. The ?management system which is considered to have not found a bright spot, it is ?considered to need in-depth research to unravel the problem. The purpose of ?this study is to find out: 1) Management of the arabic intensive program at Al ?Hikmah High Boarding School Batu, and 2) Problems in the management. The ?method used in this study was descriptive with qualitative approach. ?Interviews, observations, and documentation became the data collection ?techniques used in this study. The data obtained are then analyzed using ?techniques: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion/verification. ?From this research, datas were interviews results, observation results, and ?documents of school management, than it can be seen that the management ?program was divided into two: learning program and control program found ?several results stating that the learning program produced good output with ?good program management as well, while the control program produced value ?that is considered lacking due to the existence of an authority mandate system ?and an organizational structure that has not been said to be good. There was no ?decision by the leadership regarding the determination of Arabic zone which ?resulted in the loss of students' awareness in developing and practicing the ?language that had been obtained, as well as the number of Arabic teaching staff ?who were considered insufficient to echo the language which only amounted to ?two teaching staff.

Abstract

Metode langsung adalah metode yang bertujuan untuk membekali siswa dengan kemampuan berpikir dalam percakapan, membaca, atau menulis, menggunakan bahasa yang dipelajari secara langsung antara guru dan siswa, dan menghindari penggunaan bahasa ibu dalam menjelaskan bahan pelajaran, dan bukan dalam terjemahan. Metode langsung berpendapat bahwa siswa dapat belajar memahami bahasa melalui metode menyimak, dan belajar berbicara melalui metode berbicara sambil mengaitkan tuturan dengan situasi yang sesuai. Nilai rata-rata tes awal sebelum memperoleh materi dari peneliti secara keseluruhan masih di bawah taraf skor minimal yaitu skor 60, skor di atas 68, skor rendah 20 dan dari jumlah 40 mahasiswa yang menyelesaikan studi sebanyak 5 mahasiswa. Kemudian pada Siklus 1 rata-rata nilai keseluruhan siswa meningkat diatas nilai minimal 60 dengan atribusi cukup. Nilai tertinggi 80 dan nilai terendah 48 dari 40 mahasiswa dengan catatan 38 mahasiswa lulus dan 2 mahasiswa belum lulus. Pada Siklus 1 siswa sudah menunjukkan adanya peningkatan. Kemudian rata-rata skor tes siklus 2 meningkat pesat. Hampir seluruh nilai mahasiswa penelitian mencapai tujuan utama peneliti yaitu lebih dari 85 dengan predikat sangat baik, walaupun masih ada 4 mahasiswa yang tidak dapat mencapai tujuan utama peneliti, namun secara umum mahasiswa penelitian mencapai nilai minimal 75. Dengan nilai tinggi 96 dan rendah 72, dari total 40 siswa.

Abstract

Speaking skills are one of the skills that must be achieved in teaching modern ?languages, including Arabic. Teaching speaking skills is not easy, but more difficult than the ?first language, because Arabic is a foreign language. So that there are several obstacles in ?learning Arabic speaking skills at SMP Mambaus Sholihin 8, most of them still experience ?difficulties in communicating using Arabic. Therefore, to increase students understanding of ?the lesson, especially speaking skills, and researcher is interested in applying it to speaking ?skills subjects. This research aims to improve students' speaking skills through the use of truth or dare game. In this study, researcher used a quantitative approach. The type ?used by researcher is experimental (Pre-Experimental Design), the first trial and the pre-?test and post-test groups. Researcher used the data in this study in the form of tests and ?documents?.?? The result of the research from the data analysis is “The Effectiveness Of ?Implementing The Game “Truth Or Dare” To Improve The Speaking Skills Of Class VIII ?Students Of SMP Mambaus Sholihin 8 Katerban Senori Tuban. Depending on the statistical ?data analysis with the symbol T test, the result is 18.84, so the interpretation of this value in ?the 1% table of the number of samples (degree of succession) 28 is 2.76, and at the 5% ?degree is 2.05. Because the calculated T value obtained is greater than the table T value both ?at 1% and 5% secnificase. The alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and the null ?hypothesis (Ho) is rejected.?

Abstract

The lack of varied media usage leads to students feeling bored and experiencing difficulties in understanding lessons, especially in learning the Arabic language. Learners often struggle to master writing skills, including letter formation, sentence construction, and providing the appropriate diacritical marks. Crossword puzzles are among the alternatives that can be employed to enhance students' Arabic writing skills. The purpose of this research is to assess the outcomes of implementing crossword puzzle media to improve the Arabic writing skills of 10th-grade students at MA Darul Ulum Waru. For this study, the author utilized a qualitative approach, specifically the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method. The author employed descriptive research due to its focus on presenting a detailed and clear depiction of the research object. Data analysis involved data reduction to sift through valid information pertinent to the research objectives. The findings revealed increased interest and enthusiasm among 10th-grade students at MA Darul Ulum Waru in engaging with Arabic language learning. This media contributed to enhancing the students' writing proficiency, particularly in school-related vocabulary. Furthermore, it improved memory retention and fostered collaboration among students in completing tasks or missions.

Abstract

The textbook plays a strategic role in achieving the curriculum, therefore it needs to be prepared systematically and integrated with the development, planning, and evaluation processes. Analysis of textbooks is very important to determine the quality of the textbook itself. The purpose of this study is to determine the quality of the Al-Arabiyah li Al-Najah textbook according to William Frences Mackey's assessment standards. This research was conducted using a descriptive qualitative method and content analysis techniques from the perspective of William Frences Mackey. The primary data source in this study was taken from the Al-Arabiyah li Al-Najah textbook, while secondary data sources came from relevant books, articles, and readings related to the research object. The results of this study indicate that the Al-Arabiyah li Al-Najah textbook has met four standards formulated by William Frences Mackey, namely material selection, gradation, presentation, and repetition aspects.
