Abstract

Contrastive analysis helps in foreign language teaching because of several assumptions: the more significant the differences between the first and second languages, the more acute the learning difficulties. Comparative results of first and second languages are needed to predict difficulties in learning a foreign language. This research is a literature study, the researcher collects data and information from books or references that explain the Arabic ellipsis figure of speech (Ikfia>’) and the Indonesian ellipsis figure of speech using a descriptive analysis approach. The analysis used is Contrastive Analysis, with the following steps: descriptive, comparing similarities and differences between two languages, and predicting difficulties. The results of this research are: 1) In Ikfia>’ and ellipsis figures of speech, the speaker omits certain words or expressions, the meaning of the omitted words is interpreted by the reader himself according to logic, 2) The researcher did not find any differences between the two. 3) Ikfia>’and ellipsis are included in the Level 0-Transfer difficulty category: meaning, there is no difference between the two. Students can transfer positively from the first language to the second language. ?They can speak in the Ikfia>’ style, just like they ?speak with ellipsis figures of speech in Indonesian.

Abstract

The Fathul Hidayah Pangean Lamongan Islamic Boarding School is one of the ?educational institutions that implements a mandatory foreign language ?program, including Arabic and English. Based on initial observations, the use of ?Arabic in daily life is still not optimal. Therefore, stakeholders in the Islamic ?boarding school environment strive to strengthen the language environment ?through reward and punishment techniques. This research aims to find out how ?reward and punishment techniques are applied in forming an Arabic language ?environment, as well as uncovering supporting factors and obstacles to the ?application of these techniques in forming an Arabic language environment. ?Researchers used a qualitative approach with a descriptive study type. Data ?comes from several stakeholders in Islamic boarding schools and schools as ?well as some MTs grade 8 female students. Researchers used observation ?techniques, in-depth interviews and documentation. Data analysis uses ?interactive descriptive techniques whose validity has previously been tested ?through continuous observation techniques, source triangulation, and peer ?interpretation. The results of this research are: 1) the application of reward ?techniques is carried out using various models, including verbal and non-verbal, ?such as applause, cheers, praise and prayer, even on certain events the form of ?reward can be in the form of a plaque, gift or gift. Present. Meanwhile, there are ?also various forms of punishment, all of which are educational punishments and ?not physical punishments, such as memorizing vocabulary, translating, making ?sentences and even essays; 2) Supporting factors for implementing reward and ?punishment techniques include motivation from teachers, leaders, supervisors, ?Islamic boarding school administrators, facilities and infrastructure, support for ?language acquisition and learning. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors are the ?diversity of each individual's language abilities, as well as some students who ?are less than responsible in carrying out Islamic boarding school discipline, and ?there are even some administrators who should be able to set an example in ?Arabic who commit language violations.

Abstract

Abstrak The Raudlatul Muta'allimin Princess Islamic Boarding School is one of the Islamic boarding schools in Lamongan which combines traditional and modern ways in its learning activities. One of the learning methods used in Islamic boarding schools is the Manhaji method. The Manhaji method is a method that helps to understand the Qur'an in a gradual and structured manner, starting with having to understand the meaning of Al-Mufradat's words, then a series of languages ??in the form of changing the word science of Sharf and the sentence structure of Nahwu science. This Manhaji has a bond that combines traditional Islamic boarding schools with modern Islamic boarding schools, as well as Middle Eastern learning styles. The Manhaji method is used to increase students' understanding of Nahwu Shorof, because the Manhaji method is a method that uses songs as a learning medium that makes it easier for students to learn Nahwu Sharaf. This article aims to inform readers how the application of Nahwu Shorof learning uses songs in the Manhaji method, especially at the Raudlatul Muta'allimin Islamic Boarding School which applies this method to female students. This research approach is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques using interviews, observation, analysis, and documentation. The data collected is the result of students' written tests when learning is carried out. The results of this research state that through this manhaji song method students learn nahwu shorof in a pleasant atmosphere and help them to memorize and practice the rules of nahwu shorof in an easier way. Abstract

This article aims to examine the characteristics and uniqueness of the curriculum or teaching methods of Arabic for specific purposes, as well as to examine the issues and challenges in its implementation in the learning process. This study is expected to assist Arabic language instructors in implementing this curriculum or teaching method for specific purposes. The article uses a qualitative descriptive approach with literature review and istiqro'i analysis methodology from various sources discussing the curriculum or teaching methods of Arabic for specific purposes, such as books, journals, and others. The author then consolidates them into a comprehensive discussion. The results of this study indicate that the curriculum for teaching Arabic for specific purposes has various characteristics that differ from other curricula, as well as challenges in its implementation.

Abstract

This research was motivated by deficiencies in reading skills, namely difficulties in understanding Arabic texts due to a lack of insight into Arabic grammar and vocabulary at the Hidayatul Ulum Benjeng Gresik Elementary School. The Grammar and Translation Method is one of the methods of teaching Arabic for reading skills, and can help students understand Arabic texts easily by knowing the rules of translation. The formulation of the research problem is whether there is an influence of the application of the Grammar and Translation method on the fourth grade students of SD Hidayatul Ulum Benjeng Gresik and to what extent this influence exists. The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of the application of the Grammar and Translation method and the extent to which the influence of the application of this method is on the fourth grade students of SD Hidayatul Ulum Benjeng Gresik. This researcher used a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental design type. obtaining data through observation, tests and documentation. The results of this research show that there is an influence of the application of grammar and translation methods on fourth grade students at Hidayatul Ulum Elementary School Benjeng Gresik, with a post-test result of 1085 which is greater than the pre-test result of 845. There is a difference between the two tests which the test means 23.25 with a total of 12 students. The T-Table value is 1% of 3.11, and 5% of 2.20, thus the T-Count value is greater than the t table value, so the positive research hypothesis can be accepted.

Abstract

Image media is one of the Arabic language teaching methods that is used to convey and facilitate Arabic language subjects, and because vocabulary is one of the elements of the language, and this is where Arabic is. Therefore, understanding vocabulary is very important in teaching foreign languages, meaning Arabic. In this scientific research entitled "The Influence of Image Media on the Vocabulary Understanding of Class VII Female Students at Islamic Middle School Putri Gatsari Snorri Tuban." The research problems are: 1) Is image media effective for understanding vocabulary for class VII students at SMP Islam Gatsari Snorri Tuban? 2) To what extent is the influence of image media on the vocabulary understanding of class VII students at SMP Islam Gatsari Snorri Tuban? The approach used in this research is a quantitative approach, namely research based on percentages, census calculations, etc., and the type is pre-post experimental without a separate control group. The research tool is: tests. Researchers obtained results from these calculations. The results of the average scale and the results of the t test using SPSS are Paired Samples Test and Model Summary, which means to determine the influence and extent of the size of image media on vocabulary understanding. For class VII students at SMP Islam Gatsari Snorri Tuban, we continue the value from 28 = 2.048, and the data analysis value is 5.716. So if we compare it, it is known that the t-test obtained is 5.716 > 2.048, meaning that teaching Arabic using picture media is effective for understanding vocabulary, and the effect is 30%.

Abstract

The book Al-Barzanji is a literary work that narrates the life of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) from before his birth to his passing. The work begins with praise from the author towards Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), as recorded at the outset with the word "Athir". Here, "Athir" describes a situation or place that honors the presence of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) among the community. Some also refer to it as "Marhabanan", which means a welcome to the presence of our Prophet. This research focuses on the elements of simile found within the "Mahall al-Qiyam" (place of praise) in the book Al-Barzanji. The method used by researchers to collect data in this study is documentation and recording, as described by Suharsini Arikunto. This method involves gathering data from various sources such as records, texts, books, newspapers, magazines, inscriptions, meeting notes, schedules, and others. Among the twenty-four verses in the text "Mahall al-Qiyam", there are thirteen simile elements and various forms of similes as described in the text by Syekh Ja'far Al-Barzanji. These simile elements are found in verses 6, 7, 8, 11, 12, 15, 16, 18, 19, 21, 22, 23, and 24. Here are the details of the simile elements and forms of similes in the text "Mahall al-Qiyam" according to the book Al-Barzanji: Simile elements: 13 Objects likened: 19 Simile instruments: 3 Faces of simile: 3 Forms of similes in the text "Mahall al-Qiyam" are as follows: Indrawi simile: 2 in verses 6 and 8 Compound simile: 8 in verses 7, 15, 16, 18, 19, 21, 22, and 23 Representative simile: 2 in verses 11 and 12 General simile: 1 in verse 24.

Abstract

Penelitian eksperimen dalam pembelajaran bahasa merupakan salah satu metode penelitian yang sangat penting untuk memahami efektivitas berbagai teknik, strategi, atau intervensi dalam proses belajar bahasa, tidak terkecuali bahasa Arab. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi metode eksperimen dalan tinjauan epistimologi yang mencakup konsep, hakikat, dasar-dasar, serta prosedur penelitian eksperimen. Peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi literatur. Data bersumber dari beberapa referensi terkait dengan metodologi penelitian yang berasal dari buku dan jurnal, kesemuanya diperoleh melalui teknik membaca secara detail, konfirmasi dan dokumentasi. Data tersebut selanjutnya di analisis menggunakan teknik deskriptif kulalitatif. Tahapan penelitian ini dimulai dengan pengumpulkan data, reduksi dan kategori data, display data, dan berakhir pada penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa hakikat metode penelitian eksperimen adalah memahami dan mengidentifikasi hubungan sebab-akibat antara variabel-variabel yang diteliti, atau dari satu perlakuan (variabel bebas) terhadap variabel lain (variabel terikat). Dalam konteks pendidikan bahasa Arab, penlitian eskperimen dapat dieksplorasikan ke dalam berbagai aspek diantaranya: strategi pembelajaran, metode, teknik, media, bahan ajar, kurikulum, serta keterampilan dan unsur bahasa. Dengan demikian penelitian eksperimen dapat memberikan wawasan yang berharga mengenai metode pengajaran yang paling efektif, membantu guru dan pendidik dalam meningkatkan kualitas pengajaran dan pembelajaran bahasa Arab, hal ini dikarenakan penelitian eksperimen memberikan data empiris yang dapat digunakan untuk mengembangkan dan memperbaiki pembelajaran Bahasa Arab.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the difficulties faced by students in speaking skills, which are influenced by several factors, namely internal factors, including poor understanding and lack of mastery of vocabulary, as well as external factors in the form of learning media. Video is an educational tool to facilitate the delivery of material. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of using videos in improving the speaking skills of class VIII students at Mambaus Shalihin Suci Manyar Gresik. This research method was a quantitative approach. The type is an experiment (Pre-Experimental) Pre Test – Post Test One Group. Data was collected using observation, documentation and test methods, while the data analysis method was descriptive statistical data analysis. The results of this research are: (a) The post-test result of 1270 is greater than the pre-test result of 910. There are differences and influences between the two tests (b) As for the results of this research, the T-test value for this is 11, 00, at degrees 1% and 5%, a significance of 5% was found at a degree of 5% for a sample size of 16 which was 2.98, with a value of 2.13, the comparison obtained by the T-test was 2.98 <11.00< 2 .13. this value was greater than the T-table value and the research hypothesis is negative %1 (sufficient). Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kesulitan yang dihadapi siswa dalam keterampilan berbicara, yang dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor, yaitu faktor internal, termasuk pemahaman yang buruk dan kurangnya penguasaan kosa kata, serta faktor eksternal berupa media pemmbelajaran. Video merupakan sarana edukasi untuk memudahkan penyampaian materi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan video dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara siswa kelas VIII Mts Mambaus Shalihin Suci Manyar Gresik. Metode Penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif. Jenisnya adalah eksperimen (Pre-Exsperimental) Pre Test – Post Test One Group. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan metode observasi, dokumentasi dan tes, sedangkan metode analisis data adalah analisis data secara statistik deskriptif. Adapun hasil penelitian ini adalah: (a) Hasil post-test 1270 lebih besar dari hasil pre-test 910. Terdapat perbedaan dan pengaruh dari kedua tes (b) Adapun hasil penelitian ini, nilai T-test untuk ini adalah 11,00, pada derajat 1% dan 5%, ditemukan signifikansi 5% pada derajat 5% untuk jumlah sampel 16 adalah 2,98, dengan nilai 2,13, perbandingan yang diperoleh T-test 2,98 <11,00< 2,13. Karena to lebih besar dari nilai T-tabel dan hipotesis penelitian negatif %1 (cukup).

Abstract

This research is under the topic “Application of the Selective Methods to Acquire Arabic Vocabulary among Eighth Grade Students in Middle School at Hidayatul Umma Gresik. The focus of this research is on how to acquire Arabic vocabulary through a selective method. Hence, the researcher suggested that acquiring Arabic vocabulary by applying the selective method is an important matter to encourage the professor and students to pay more attention to applying the Arabic language with their vocabulary. The approach used in this research is the qualitative approach with the type of case study research. The aim of this research is to obtain descriptive data through interviews, observation, and documents on the application of the selective method to acquire Arabic vocabulary among eighth-grade students in Hidayatul Ummah Gresik. Among the most important results obtained by the researcher are: The researcher found shapes in vocabulary acquisition. There are different types of students’ ability to acquire their vocabulary during the process of teaching and learning the Arabic language, and for this reason the school encourages strong enthusiasm to make the students love Arabic.
