The Indonesian Journal of Primary Education is a scientific periodical published twice a year (June-December) that publishes the results of original research on primary education and primary school teacher education. This journal aims to develop concepts, theories, perspectives, paradigms, and methodologies within the scope of basic education and primary school teacher education including curriculum, teaching materials, media, methods, and evaluation of primary school learning. Since 2017, this journal has been published by the UPI PGSD Study Program, Tasikmalaya Campus with Himpunan Dosen PGSD Indonesia (the Indonesian PGSD Lecturer Association). Abstract

The industrial revolution that is happening in this era requires teachers to always and constantly adapt to technological developments. The use of ICT in learning activities has an important role, especially during the current COVID-19 pandemic. The condition of distance learning creates problems for teachers. The lack of teacher skills in developing digital learning media makes teachers less innovative in making learning media. Even though there are currently many online-based applications that provide various features that can be used to create interesting learning media. Online learning media is a learning media that is in accordance with the characteristics of the current digital generation. For this reason, teachers need to equip themselves with digital literacy skills. This study aims to develop the ability of elementary school teachers to innovate in creating Anchor application-based learning media. The research design used is action research. Participants consisted of 100 teachers from districts and cities in West Java, teachers from DKI Jakarta, and the City of Yogyakarta, Indonesia. The results show that the teacher is able to complete the task of making anchor application-based learning media. This shows that they are able to develop their digital literacy skills in learning. Teachers can easily create learning media in the form of podcasts, using the anchor application. It can be concluded that structured and controlled training and mentoring can develop the skills and innovations of elementary school teachers in creating digital learning media. Abstract

Belajar Bahasa Inggris selalu dianggap momok bagi sebagian besar anak. Pada observasi awal pembelajaran di kelas Kelas Tinggi (Kelas VI SDN 1 Kresnomulyo), terdapat sebuah permasalahan bahwa ternyata siswa pasif dalam mengikuti Pelajaran Bahasa Inggris yang disampaikan oleh guru. Hal ini mengakitbatkan hasil belajar siswa menjadi rendah, tidak sesuai dengan harapan. Peneliti kemudian menerapkan model sistem Pendekatan Pembelajaran melalui MENCIPTA LAGU.  Karena dengan demikian ternyata siswa menjadi mengerti dan mudah mengingat pelajaran yang diberikan. Kelemahan lagu Bahasa Inggris yang beredar dan ada di buku cetak saat ini adalah karena rata-rata yang dilagukan itu bukanlah materi atau kaidah dari Bahasa Inggris itu sendiri. Sebuah penelitian yang penulis telah implementasikan kurang lebih 1 tahun, sehingga mudah dipahami perkembangan dan output yang luar biasa. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari Nilai yang didapat siswa yang menunjukkan angka fantastis setelah menempuh beberapa masa ujian, baik ujian semester, maupun Ujian Sekolah berskala Nasional tahun ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa. Saran, untuk kepala sekolah hendaknya dapat memotivasi guru untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa. Bagi guru agar menerapkan Bernyanyi Materi Bahasa Inggris dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

The purpose of this study Implementation of Limited Face-to-face Learning Policy in the New Normal Era of the Covid-19 Pandemic all countries affected by the Covid-19 pandemic are currently adapting so that the pandemic does not have a much worse impact on all aspects of life. People definitely have to adapt to new habits in the order of their activities, not least in the world of education. The Minister of Education through Joint Decision of 4 Ministers lowered the policy on Limited Face-to-face Learning in the New Normal Era. Each education unit has its own challenges in implementing policies regarding education in the era of adapting new habits. This study aims to analyze the policy of Limited Face-to-face Learning Implementation in the New Normal Era at the Ciamis District Elementary School and its implementation. The method used for this research is descriptive qualitative. The research was conducted at the State Elementary School in Ciamis District. The key informant at each school was the Class Teacher who carried out Limited Face-to-face Learning Activities during the New Normal. The research in instruments used were field observations, interviews and documentation. The results showed that the Limited Face-to-face Learning policy in the New Normal era at the State Elementary School in Ciamis District had been successfully implemented, although there were several factors that needed to be improved and re-evaluated. The implementation of the Limited Face-to-face Learning process at public elementary schools in Ciamis District can be carried out through various school policies that are carried out explicitly through the preparation of facilities and infrastructure that must be prepared for limited face-to-face learning and preparing a curriculum for special conditions to facilitate teachers in conducting effective learning.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan metode pembelajaran Scramble terhadap kemampuan membaca pemahaman dan kecerdasan interpersonal siswa pada pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia  pada siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian dilakukan di SDIT Segar Amanah Klender Jakarta Timur dengan sampel siswa  kelas IVA 28 orang sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas IV B dengan sampel siswa 28 orang sebagai kelas kontrol yang dilaksanakan pada semester 1 tahun ajaran 2017/2018. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan random sampling. Teknik penelitian menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain quasi eksperimen. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan lembar tes dan lembar observasi untuk mengetahui kemampuan membaca pemahaman kecerdasan interpersonal pada pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia, dengan terlebih dahulu dilakukan pengujian validitas dan realibilitas serta Justivication expert dan uji norrmalitas dan homogenitas baik kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan metode pembelajaran Scramble ataupun kelas kontrol yang menggunakan model pembelajaran ekspositori. Hasil pengujian menunjukan bahwa kedua kelas berdistribusi normal serta menunjukan homogenitas kedua kelas tersebut homeogen. Hasil penelitian menunjukan kenaikan rata-rata kemampuan membaca pemahaman  kelas eksperimen dari 59,5 menjadi 86,5 sedangkan kelas Kontrol dari 60,5 menjadi 67,5, kecerdasan interpersonal rata-rata kelas eksperimen dari 55,5 menjadi 88,5 dan 57,5 menjadi 66 untuk kelas kontrol.  serta keefektifan proses pembelajaran apabila melihat rata-rata Normal Gain kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi  dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol. Normal Gain kemampuan membaca pemahaman untuk kelas eksperimen mendapatkan nilai 0,68 dengan kategori cukup efektif, sementara kelas kontrol mendapatkan kategori tidak efektif dengan nilai 0,29. Normal Gain Kecerdasan interpersonal kelas eksperimen menunjukan nilai 0,76 dan kelas kontrol dengan Normal Gain sebesar 0,37. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, dapat disimpulkan kemampuan membaca pemahaman dan kecerdasan interpersonal siswa pada pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia  kelas eksperimen lebih baik daripada kemampuan membaca pemahaman dan kecerdasan interpersonal siswa pada pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia  kelas kontrol.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the Impact of The Writing Relay Method Assisted by Series Drawing Media Application on the Motivation and Writing Narrative Skills of Class V Students at Morowa Cluster, Sinoa District, Bantaeng Regency. This research was quantitative research using quasi-experimental methods. The design used in this study was a quasi nonequivalent control group design. The population in this study were all students of grade V elementary school ftom 5 elementary schools at Morowa Cluster of Sinoa District of Bantaeng Regency, the samples were students of class V of SDN 37 Pa'rasangang Beru and students of class V of SDN 38 Janna -Jannaya. Data collection techniques were questionnaires and tests. The data analysis technique used was theindependent sample t-test and Monova Test, which was previously tested for prerequisites ie normality and homogeneity. The results of this study indicate the effect of motivation and skills in writing narrative that are given treatment in the form of the Relay Writing method with the help of serial picture media compared to students who are not given treatment. Based on the results of the independent sample t-test on hypothesis I, the sig value was obtained. of 0.002 0.05 then HO is rejected and H1 is accepted, in hypothesis II the sig value is obtained. of 0.001 0.05 then HO is rejected and H1 is accepted, and the results of the Monova test, obtained the value of Sig. 0.000 0.05, then HO is rejected and H1 is accepted.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh sejak diberlakukannya kurikulum 2013 di semua jenjang pendidikan, baik di tingkat SD, SMP, sampai dengan SMA. Guru banyak menghadapi masalah dalam penerapan kurikulum 2013, khusunya kurikulum 2013 revisi yang diterapkan di SDN Duri Kepa 03. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasikan masalah yang dihadapi guru dalam penerapan kurikulum 2013 revisi di SD. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa tidak semua masalah yang dihadapi guru karena kesalahan di dalam kurikupum 2013, tetapi guru juga harus mampu memaksimalkan kemampuan profesionalnya untuk menjawab tantangan-tantangan  di dalam kurikulum 2013.

Abstract

This research aims to obtain preliminary information in the development of bingo-based learning media for fifth-grade elementary school students. The bingo game media is designed to provide facilities for civic education (PPKn) learning, aiming to assist students in comprehending PPKn materials and enhancing their self-confidence in the learning process. The development of bingo game media employs the Research and Development (RD) method, and this study is currently in the needs analysis stage. Data collection for needs analysis is conducted through interviews with class teachers and the distribution of questionnaires to students. Based on the research findings, it can be concluded that there are challenges in delivering PPKn materials that involve application, necessitating the use of learning media to boost students' self-confidence in visualizing the materials with the assistance of the bingo game. This conclusion is based on student questionnaire analysis, which indicates that: 1) Students feel confident and actively participate when learning processes involve game-based media. 2) The implementation of learning becomes more enjoyable when utilizing the bingo game.

Abstract

Penerapan model pembelajaran adalah suatu hal yang penting untuk merangsang siswa mengikuti pembelajaran serta berpengaruh dalam keberhasilan pembelajaran. Tapi jika dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran dikelas khususnya seni tari sangat terbatas waktunya, maka ekstrakurikuler seni tari berfungsi untuk memfasilitasi  minat, bakat, serta potensi siswa dalam bidang seni tari secara inti dan khusus. Pendidikan seni tari berfungsi untuk mengembangkan kecerdasan dan perkembangan siswa, yaitu perkembangan motorik, perkembangan kognitif,  perkembangan afektif, dan perkembangan sosial emosional. Namun, berdasarkan fakta di lapangan (SDN Mugarsari Kota Tasikmalaya) kegiatan ekstrakurikuler seni tari kurang variatif dan waktunya terbatas, serta siswa kurang diberi kebebasan untuk bereksplorasi dan berkreasi, sehingga kreativitas gerak tari siswa belum optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kreativitas gerak tari siswa dengan menggunakan model Project Based Learning pada kegiatan ekstrakurikuler seni tari. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen dengan desain Pre-eksperimental tipe One-group Pretest-Posttest. Dalam pengumpulan data, instrumen yang digunakan yaitu tes unjuk kerja pre-test dan post-test. Analisis data yang digunakan berupa analisis data deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai asymp sig sebesar 0,000 0,05 sehingga diterimanya Ha (hipotesis alternatif) dan ditolaknya H0 (hipotesis nol). Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan terhadap kreativitas gerak tari kreasi daerah siswa, setelah menerapkan model Project Based Learning, pada kegiatan ekstrakurikuler seni tari.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh wawancara yang penulis lakukan di SD kelas IV yaitu masih terdapat permasalahan pada pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia mengenai menulis karangan deskripsi. Permasalahan tersebut muncul antara lain dalam hal penggunaan alat/media pembelajaran. Penggunaan media pada pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia dapat membantu siswa dalam menulis karangan deskripsi. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, penulis akan melakukan penelitian dengan menggunakan media video 360º. Video 360º merupakan suatu video yang diproduksi dengan sistem kamera secara bersamaan merekam keseluruhan arah pandang dan dapat dinikmati dengan melihat keseluruhan arah pandang tersebut. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SD Negeri Sukamenak Indah dengan sampel siswa kelas IV sebanyak 20 siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif dengan bentuk desain Pre Eksperimen tipe One Group Pre-test Post-test dan teknik pengambilan dengan menggunakan teknik Purposive Sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu teknik tes berupa unjuk kerja menulis karangan deskripsi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan Microsoft Word 2016 dan aplikasi SPSS 16.0. Hasil penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa keterampilan menulis karangan deskripsi mengalami peningkatan apabila pembelajaran menggunakan media video 360º.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to examine student learning outcomes. This research uses the Classroom Action Research (PTK) method. The subjects and location of this research were students in class VIC at SDN 42 Jambi City, totaling 31 students. The research model used is research research which includes four stages of action, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. The data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative. The results of the research showed that students experienced significant improvement during the two cycles with each completion percentage. In the pre-cycle it reached 38.70% completeness, in cycle 1 it reached 64.5% completeness, and in cycle II it achieved 87.09% completeness or an increase of 48.39. With an average in the pre-cycle of 67.87 to 72.12 in cycle 1, and experiencing an increase in cycle II to 78.25.
