Abstract

This study analyzes the influence of digital marketing and managerial capability on the financial performance of MSMEs in South Tangerang, with competitive advantage as an intervening variable. A quantitative explanatory approach was used with primary data collected from questionnaires distributed to 100 MSMEs selected through purposive sampling based on specific criteria, such as a minimum of two years of operational experience and the adoption of digital marketing strategies. The analysis was conducted using the Partial Least Square - Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method to test direct and indirect relationships among the variables. The results show that competitive advantage has a significant direct effect on digital marketing and the financial performance of MSMEs. Managerial capability also significantly influences digital marketing and financial performance, highlighting the importance of managerial roles in supporting digital marketing strategies. Conversely, operational capability affects only digital marketing without a direct impact on financial performance. Furthermore, digital marketing has not yet proven to be an effective mediator between competitive advantage, managerial capability, and operational capability concerning financial performance. This study recommends strengthening digital marketing strategies and enhancing managerial and operational capabilities to improve the competitiveness and financial performance of MSMEs.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of Green Accounting, environmental performance, and company size on company value in mining sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI). This research is quantitative research using secondary data. The samples in this research obtained using certain criteria sampling techniques were PROPER participating companies registered on the IDX throughout 2019-2023. The statistical method used in this research is multiple regression analysis. The results of this research show that simultaneously, the independent variables in the form of Green Accounting, environmental performance and company size influence company value. Partially, the Green Accounting variable has a positive and significant effect on company value, the environmental performance variable also has a positive and significant effect on company value, and the company size variable has a positive and significant effect on company value.

Abstract

One of the factor that can affect employee performance is the competence of the employee. The purpose of this study is to test the significance of the relationship and to form and test the linearity and significance of the linear regression equation between competence and employee performance. The study was conduct at Cipto Mangunkusumo Kencana Hospital, Jakarta, the population of this study was all of its employees. From this population, a sample of 49 employees was taken using a simple random sampling technique. This study used a causal survey method. The research data were collected through a research instrument in the form of a questionnaire with a 5-level Likert scale, then processed and analyzed using regression analysis techniques and linear correlation using the SPSS program. The results of this study indicate that there is a positive relationship between competence and employee performance, which can be formed in a significant linear regression equation to state the relationship

Abstract

Symbolism in film enhances the story by adding depth and meaning to characters and themes. In The Truman Show, the use of metaphor, simile, and personification helps uncover the deeper symbolism of the film and its broader messages. This research takes a qualitative approach by analyzing the film’s script through content analysis. The process involves outlining the topic, organizing the thesis, gathering information from both the film and online resources, and examining how these symbols contribute to the film’s overall meaning. In the study, the use of personification is found to be the most prominent, making up 41.2% of the instances, followed by metaphor at 35.3%, and simile at 23.5%. These literary devices help to build the narrative and explore important themes, such as the nature of reality, the power of the media, and individual freedom. By using these devices, The Truman Show invites viewers to reflect on how media shapes our perceptions of the world and our sense of self. The film serves as a warning about the dangers of turning real life into entertainment, showing how this can strip away the humanity of those involved. It also underscores the importance of privacy and authenticity in leading a meaningful life.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the empowerment of human resources (HR) through hard skills training in the digital era and the role of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and the wage system in improving the competitiveness of the Indonesian workforce. The methodology used includes a literature review and secondary data analysis on digital skills training and remuneration conditions in Indonesia. The findings show that digital skills training and improved remuneration systems can increase worker productivity and welfare. Collaboration between the government, companies and communities is essential in supporting the development of competent human resources who are ready to face global challenges.

Abstract

In principle, a agreement or contract is an effort to ensure legal protection with the principle of freedom of contract in conducting business transactions. In addition, there is also a memorandum of understanding (MOU) as another written legal form of the principle of freedom of contract. In practice, MOU are almost equated with contracts or agreements. However, if examined theoretically, the two are certainly different. This inaccuracy is often based substantially on pouring the substance of the contract into the MOU. On the other hand, an MOU is more appropriately understood as an agreement on basic matters between parties and only then should it be accompanied by a agreement or contract later. This causes confusion so that it is undeniable that it will have implications for losses for the parties. This research uses a normative method by examining laws and legal instrument, books, journals, and articles related to the discussion of MOU and agreements or contract. The results show that the MOU is not a contract and does not yet have binding force. Thus, it is necessary to discuss juridically and conceptually which will be presented in this research.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian untuk mengetahui strategi Public Relations Dalam Membangun Citra Positif Perusahaan Pelabuhan Indonesia (Pelindo). Metode dari penelitian ini aadalah kualitatif untuk memperjelas tentang aktivitas humas Perusahaan Pelabuhan Indonesia (Pelindo) dalam menjalankan fungsinya. Metodologi pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui sesi wawancara terstruktur dengan tim Public Relations dan pemangku kepentingan. Selain observasi, peneliti melakukan wawancara lapangan dan studi literasi untuk memantau aktivitas perusahaan humas Perusahaan Pelabuhan Indonesia (Pelindo). Public Relations merupakan peran perusahaan dalam menangani seluruh persoalan komunikasi internal dan eksternal serta memastikan citra sosial perusahaan tidak memburuk. Di antara keempat model teori humas yang baik, dalam membangun citra positif, penggunaan model asimetris dua arah atau yang bisa disebut komunikasi dua arah lebih dominan. Memberikan pendapat kepada perusahaan. Strategi ini diterapkan dengan mengedepankan hubungan masyarakat yang baik.

Abstract

The Future Agile Leader Program (FALP) at IPB University aims to cultivate leadership skills among students and young leaders through adaptive group communication patterns. This study seeks to analyze the communication strategies employed by the Best Young Leaders in maintaining the program's existence and to explore the dynamics between organizers and participants in ensuring its sustainability. Utilizing a qualitative methodology, in-depth interviews were conducted with GYP (20 years old), one of FALP's distinguished young leaders. The findings reveal that adaptive communication patterns, grounded in responsiveness to the challenges of the digital era, leverage a hybrid approach of online and offline interactions (O2). Central to this framework are two-way communication and transparency, which foster collaboration and synergy among group members. Robust internal communication enhances each member's regarding their roles, significantly contributing to the group's success. Moreover, harmonious relationships between organizers and participants emerge as a pivotal factor in sustaining the program. This study concludes that adaptive and collaborative communication frameworks serve as a foundational pillar in ensuring FALP's longevity. Future recommendations include further exploration of the interplay between technology and self-awareness in elevating communication quality within leadership development initiatives.

Abstract

Tradisi di Bembeng merupakan tradisi penting dilaksnkan pada prosesi pernikahan dan memiliki makna yang dalam bagi keluarga Karaeng di desa Tuju Bangkala barat, Kabupaten Jeneponto. Metode Penelitian yang digunakan adalah observasi partisipatif dan wawancara mendalam dengan tokoh masyarakat setempat. Hasil Penelitian menujukkan bahwa Tradisi di Bembeng tidak bisa dilaksanakan oleh sembarangan orang dan hanya bisa dilaksanakan oleh yang mempunyai garis keturunan yang jelas atau leluhurnya pernah diangkat menjadi Kareng. Tradisi di Bembeng mampu bertahan dengan baik diera modern yang mampu menggeser segala bentuk tradisionalisme membuktikan masyarakat desa Tuju dalam hal ini keluarga yang berstatus Karaeng bisa menjaga dengan baik warisan tradisiatau budaya leluhurnya.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penggunaan teori graf dalam memahami jaringan komunikasi siswa saat belajar matematika secara kolaboratif, dengan memanfaatkan Microsoft NodeXL sebagai alat analisis. Fokus dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi pola interaksi matematis di antara siswa kelas XI di SMA Negeri 1 Percut Sei Tuan. Metode kuantitatif diterapkan dengan melibatkan 33 siswa yang dibagi menjadi lima kelompok berdasarkan metode pengelompokan acak dan kedekatan hubungan pertemanan. Data diambil melalui pretest, posttest, dan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan teori graf memberikan gambaran yang jelas tentang pola komunikasi siswa, termasuk interaksi antara siswa dan pembentukan kelompok kecil. Pendekatan ini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran kolaboratif dapat meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa dalam diskusi kelompok. Penelitian ini memberikan sumbangan signifikan terhadap pengembangan strategi pembelajaran yang memanfaatkan analisis jaringan komunikasi.
