SHINE: is a journal of Guidance and Counseling aims to help researchers and practitioners in improving a good reputation for reference from the various authors and cases around Indonesia In the development of science which figuring out the results of research, case studies, and library review to develop in terms of counseling and psychology guidance widely. It also beneficial to be a reference for the development of education, curriculum and the development of human resources (SDM), SHINE: a Journal of Guidance and Counseling to receive and publish articles based on both qualitative and quantitative research (scientific article). All articles published in Indonesia (abstract English) The scope of SHINE: The Journal of Guidance and Counseling focuses on the materials of research such us in terms of science, practice/skills, philosophy, and social. The psychology also being a part of this scope containing the various topics as the following: The Research of pedagogical competence. The research of personality competence The Research of Social Competence The research of professional competence. Research on the development of education. The experimental, quantitative, qualitative, classroom activities, and library research. SHINE Journal: The Journal Guidance and Counseling are only written by Indonesian authors as the following criteria: (1) The publisher of the journal comes from Indonesia (2) The article needs to be associated with the conditions in Indonesia or the country that has the same condition which is expected to have implications and contributions to address the problems of education in Indonesia.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to know the strategy of implementing character education to students and support factors and inhibitors in MTS Mashlahatul Hidayah, in the hope of providing new innovations in the world of education how character education strategies.This research is a qualitative research by expressing field findings by thrilling thoroughly about data obtained in field, method of data collection in this study using interview techniques, observation and documentation, in this case the researcher analyzed data through. 1) data collection, 2) data reduction, 3) data presentation, 4) withdrawal conclusions.The results showed the values of priority character education were 1) Religious characters, with the form of a) Salat Zuhur congied, b) Ngaji Yasin before KBM. 2) Character of the man with a form of activity A) Salim, b) pending, c) down from the motor. 3) discipline characters. 4) character of environmental love.

Abstract

This study aims to test the effectiveness of the structured learning approach to improve learning discipline. The design used in this study is one group pretest-posttest design. The subjects of the study were 8 students of class XI IPA who had low discipline learning scores. Measurement of student learning discipline is done repeatedly before and after treatment is given to see the consistency of the research subject conditions. Testing or measurement of effectiveness is carried out using The Wilcoxon Signed-rank test then proceed to the next test that is paired t-test. The findings of this study prove that the structured learning approach is effective in improving the discipline of student learning at Sumenep 2 Public High Schools.

Abstract

The 4.0 revolution era which belongs to digital and internet nowadays has been extremely dominated by teenagers. This has huge impact on various aspects, especially in terms of biological, psychological, social, and spiritual. Adolescence is a time for a transition from childhood to be an adult human. In this era, there are many both behavioral changes and developments that occur in each individual. This paper will try to describe and analyze the industrial revolution 4.0 and juvenile delinquency with a strength-based approach on their adolescent life. The Teenagers nowadays are tend to influenced by the social media environment in establishing their self-concept. It includes the identity search for youth through social media. The netizen’s Positive reactions will strengthen and support the identity of teenagers. On the other hands, netizen's negative reactions will be affected to the identity confusion among teenagers.

Abstract

This research aims to improve one of the student's life skills using Problem Based Learning (PBL) model. It applied a classroom action research design (PTK) which was carried out for three cycles. The PBL model used in this study is integrated into Civics subjects by looking at the accompanying impact, not the instructional impact of Civics learning. This study implemented observation as the instrument of research. Through not only the result of the observation sheet from the student direct life skills aspects which the action research was carried out but also observe the teacher activity using the PBL model and the student responses in using those aforementioned model. The technique used to analyze the data is divided into two techniques that are both qualitative and quantitative data analysis. The results showed that the application of the PBL model could not develop the students' life skills aspects.

Abstract

This research aims to know the correlation of the scout activities to the discipline character of the student of SMA Raudlatul Ulum Kapedi. The kind that is used in this research is quantitative method, it is the research method that empliasizes objective measurement, numerical and the statistical analysis, so that it gives the description about the independent variable of the disciplinary character. Based on the research result at SMA Raudlatul Ulum Kapedi, it gets the result as follows, the variable of the scout activities (X) is gotten the calculated value amoun that 8,833 > t-table of 2,093. Than (8,833 > 2,093) than it is declared rejected, it means that there is the positive correlation the independent variable (scut activities) to the dependent variable (the descipline) is amounted to 81,3%. 1% addition to the value of the ability of the scout activities. So, the value of the participation increases by 1,069. So that it can be concluded that there is the correlation of the scout activities to the discipline character of the student.

Abstract

KIPAS Counseling is a summary of Progressive and Adaptively Intensive Counseling in terms of Structure. KIPAS is encouraged as a fresh breeze that is expected to calm all of the parties within BK's scientific disciplines down; from counselors, counselees, teachers, principals, and other elements that support it. KIPAS are present to eliminate the negative judgments that have been inherent in the mind of the counselees. The form of counseling services encouraged by cultural encounters and individual uniqueness proposes a more conducive and representative space, as a formula so that the prescription stipulated is correct. Multicultural Counseling is present as an answer to the uniqueness of each individual in realizing themselves as an autonomous person based on physical sensation and psychological states counselees, respect for the attitude of counselees, religious values, and cultural values of counselees, the flexible and positive attitude, also psychical satisfaction of the subject.
