JIS Siwirabuda (Jurnal Ilmiah Sains Sosial, Kewirausahaan dan Kebudayaan) adalah salah satu jurnal yang diterbitkan oleh Universitas Tabanan (UNTAB) Bali. JIS Siwirabuda terbit setahun dua (2) kali yaitu pada bulan maret dan september. JIS Siwirabuda merupakan jurnal ilmiah yang bertujuan sebagai media pendokumentasian ide-ide atau pemikiran kritis di bidang ilmu pengetahuan sains, sosial, kewirausahaan dan kebudayaan. Ruang lingkup JIS Siwirabuda merupakan hasil pemikiran dari multidisiplin ilmu yang berfokus pada pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan di masing-masing bidang disiplin ilmu (sains, sosial, kewirausahaan dan kebudayaan) yang dapat dimanfaatkan untuk memajukan ilmu pengetahuan serta dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat. JIS Siwirabuda juga merupakan sarana publikasi bagi akademisi, praktisi, masyarakat umum untuk memperkenalkan karya tulis ilmiahnya. Abstract

Marriage Ceremony is a marriage vow binding ceremony carried out by men and women with the intention of formalizing the marriage bond with the aim of forming a harmonious household or family. Godly education is very closely related to a marriage ceremony in Balinese Hindus in every process with the aim of glorifying their offspring as a suputra. To produce valid and reliable data, this paper uses a qualitative writing style. In producing logical data, this paper performs several stages of data sorting in the form of: 1). Data reduction, 2). Display data, 3). Verifying data, and 4). Interpreting research data. In its presentation, measurable analysis becomes the basis for processing the data obtained. The perfection of this paper cannot be separated from the library technique which is carried out through an assessment of the existing literature on Google Scholar. Changes in the era of globalization towards modern, there is a lot of deconstruction of a marriage. Starting from ceremonies that are hedonism to jor rods with prestige so that ordinary people who lack knowledge of traditions become reluctant and afraid of a tradition such as pre-weddings that cost tens of millions, lavish receptions held in classy places to modifications to magnificent decorations. These understandings are very rarely disseminated to the general public, even though the constructive aspect of a marriage is apart from continuing the new regeneration in Hinduism, it is to atone for the sins of the previous ancestors.

Abstract

Catur Angga Batukau is one of The Cultural Landscape of Bali Province: The Subak System as a Manifestation of the Tri Hita Karana Philosophy, which has the widest coverage area that poses management challenges as well as local communities who do not know about the characteristics and important values of the world cultural heritage site Catur Angga Coughau. This problem is exacerbated by the lack of information that explains the characteristics and important values contained in the world cultural heritage site CaturAngga Coughau, making it very vulnerable to oblivion. Based on these problems, this research is very important to be carried out indescribing the characteristics and important values contained in the world cultural heritage site Catur Angga Coughau. The dataanalysis technique used is qualitative descriptive analysis, which will explain and describe the characteristics and important values contained in the cultural heritage of the Angga Coughau Chess world. The results of the data analysis explain that the culturalheritage of the Angga Coughau Chess world has characteristics based on the concept of mandala consisting of Pura Luhur Muncaksari, Pura Luhur Petali, Pura Luhur Besikalung, Pura Luhur Tambawaras and Pura Luhur Coughau and has important values in various fields, namely history, science, education, culture and religion.

Abstract

This study delves into the process and implications of the legal remedy of "Peninjauan Kembali" (Reconsideration) within the Criminal Procedure Law in Indonesia. It examines the formal and substantive criteria for submitting a reconsideration request, using the case of Irman Gusman as a prominent example. Employing a normative approach and drawing on primary and secondary legal sources, the research meticulously analyzes the procedural steps involved in submitting a reconsideration request. Special emphasis is placed on the formal prerequisites that must be met and the material grounds that warrant such an action. By shedding light on the intricacies of the reconsideration process, this study contributes to a deeper understanding of how this legal remedy operates within the criminal justice system. Furthermore, it elucidates the potential legal consequences that arise if a reconsideration request proves successful, leading to modified judgments that can significantly impact the existing legal framework. The insights provided in this research have implications not only for legal practitioners and scholars but also for individuals seeking a comprehensive grasp of the Indonesian criminal justice system's intricacies.

Abstract

Background: Chronic kidney failure is a decrease of kidney function that occurs due to tissue damage in the kidney, which makes the patient have to undergo hemodialysis. However, a lifelong hemodialysis makes the quality life of the patients decrease, so one approach that can be taken is to provide emotional support. One of them is the fulfillment of spiritual needs. Purpose: To determine the correlation between fulfillment of spiritual needs and quality of life in patient with chronic kidney failure. Method: This study employed descriptive correlation design with cross-sectional approach. There were 130 respondents recruited as sample of the study which were selected by using total sampling technique. Result: The finding showed that the majority of the respondents were in the moderate category with a frequency of 103 respondents (79.2%) for fulfilling of spiritual needs. There were 105 respondents (79.2%) had a high category for quality of life. The correlation test results obtained p value <0.05 and r value = 0.348. Conclusion: There is a significant correlation between fulfillment of spiritual needs and quality of life in patient with chronic kidney failure.

Abstract

Library management information system is the application of information systems in the library to support the information needed by all levels of library management.  In this study, the purpose of creating an information system is to help the library overcome data management and speed up the service process for the better. The research method used in making this information system starts by conducting effectiveness testing which is then continued with the collection of data needed by conducting interviews and observations. In making the system, the concept of planning and design through the stages of data collection, Data Flow Diagram (DFD), Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD), database and then implement it. The software used in the design and implementation is Laragon as a webserver, MYSQL as a database, and Visual Studio Code as an editor using PHP and HTML writing. The results of this study prove that the Management Information System implemented into the library system makes the system able to provide convenience in managing data and the library service process becomes faster.

Abstract

Recording attendance is an important factor in the management of human resources. Information regarding attendance that can determine achievement, productivity or progress of the agency. So we need a smart attendance system that can work automatically, with a design method that makes a smart attendance system using fingerprint technology and using a control system. Data in the form of unique strokes at the fingertips of every human being is used as data. When this fingerprint is attached to the attendance device, the data is automatically entered into the Arduino. The results of this study indicate that Arduino Uno can be used as an attendance system controller using a fingerprint sensor. The FMP10 fingerprint sensor can read as many as 127 fingerprint data. This design was made to facilitate attendance automatically by attaching fingerprints to the fingerprint sensor and data will enter automatically into the Arduino without having to use stationery, pens, attendance books, and enter attendance data manually, so the impact of this design is good for use. because it is quite easy to use compared to manually.

Abstract

Poverty is a highly complex social issue influenced by various interconnected factors, including Minimum Wage, Gross Regional Domestic Product, and Population Size. The hypotheses are as follows: (1) Minimum Wage has a negative and significant partial effect on poverty in Tabanan Regency, (2) Gross Regional Domestic Product has a negative and significant partial effect on poverty in Tabanan Regency, (3) Population Size has a positive and significant partial effect on poverty in Tabanan Regency, (4) Minimum Wage, Gross Regional Domestic Product, and Population Size have a significant partial and simultaneous effect on poverty in Tabanan Regency. Minimum Wage (X1) has a negative and significant impact on Poverty (Y) in Tabanan Regency. The lower the minimum wage received by the community, the higher the poverty rate. Gross Regional Domestic Product (X2) has a negative and significant impact on Poverty (Y) in Tabanan Regency. The lower the GRDP received by the community, the higher the poverty rate. Population Size (X3) has a positive and significant impact on Poverty (Y) in Tabanan Regency. The higher the population size in Tabanan Regency, the higher the poverty rate. Minimum Wage, Gross Regional Domestic Product, and Population Size have a simultaneous impact on Poverty.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how the multiple roles and what efforts single parents make in educating the character of their children. Researchers see the role of a mother in educating, raising, and giving affection to her children, as well as being a breadwinner. This type of research is qualitative descriptive research, to obtain complete data regarding the dual roles of mothers who are single parents. Respondents in this study consisted of 2 people. First respondent is a 48 years old woman who works outside the home, the second respondent is a 40 years old woman who opens a business at her home. Data collection methods used in this research are interviews and observation. The results of the study show that due to social change factors where the mother is required to carry out the dual role of taking care of the household alone without the help of a husband or father of her children, as well as being a breadwinner for the needs of daily life. The conclusion of this research is that the informant, who is a single mother who works for a living outside the home, finds it difficult to manage her time in taking care of and raising her children. The advice from this study is that as a mother, you should give enough time to your children, pay attention, love, pay attention to their education so that their needs and rights as children can be fulfilled properly. As a single mother who does not have a companion in taking care of her children, it is better to learn how to manage spending from income so that it is used for more important needs.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic that has affected Indonesia has also played a role in the development of Indonesia's economy and is feared to trigger inflation. Various policies have been implemented, including monetary policies involving interest rate determination by Bank Indonesia and regulating the circulation of money in society. The aim of this research is to analyze the influence of interest rates and the amount of money in circulation on inflation and to examine the role of the money supply in mediating the influence of interest rates on inflation in Indonesia. This research uses secondary data obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS). Data processing tools used in this research include Microsoft Excel and path analysis. The findings of this study are as follows: interest rates have a negative but non-significant impact on inflation in Indonesia during the COVID-19 pandemic, interest rates have a positive and significant impact on inflation in Indonesia during the COVID-19 pandemic, the amount of money in circulation has a positive and significant impact on inflation in Indonesia during the COVID-19 pandemic, and the amount of money in circulation does not mediate the influence of interest rates on inflation in Indonesia during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Pigs have a very important role for the people of Bali, both from an economic and socio-cultural perspective. Darmasaba Village, Badung Regency is one of the areas known as the central place for slaughtering and selling pork. Business actors need to develop and increase the productivity of the pig farming business by taking into account the business opportunity factor in accordance with the sales volume and demand for pork, including the conditions of pork traders, both in supermarkets and semi-modern (fresh markets), as well as traditional markets. The purpose of this study was to determine the income from the slaughter pig business at traditional pig slaughterers in Darmasaba Village. From the results obtained for each traditional cutting in Darmasaba village, sales are carried out only at Grade B and Grade C prices. Net income (profit) is 3,910,000/head (in 100 kg) for grade B and Rp. 1,440,000/head (in 100 kg) for grade c. The several obstacles faced by pig farming actors in Darmasaba Village, Abiansemal District, Badung Regency, include (1) Fluctuating Pork Prices, (2) Some Pig Traders still use Traditional Scales, (3) Sometimes poor quality pigs, (4) Stock pigs which are sometimes scarce, (5) There is no veterinarian in traditional butchers.
