JIS Siwirabuda (Jurnal Ilmiah Sains Sosial, Kewirausahaan dan Kebudayaan) adalah salah satu jurnal yang diterbitkan oleh Universitas Tabanan (UNTAB) Bali. JIS Siwirabuda terbit setahun dua (2) kali yaitu pada bulan maret dan september. JIS Siwirabuda merupakan jurnal ilmiah yang bertujuan sebagai media pendokumentasian ide-ide atau pemikiran kritis di bidang ilmu pengetahuan sains, sosial, kewirausahaan dan kebudayaan. Ruang lingkup JIS Siwirabuda merupakan hasil pemikiran dari multidisiplin ilmu yang berfokus pada pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan di masing-masing bidang disiplin ilmu (sains, sosial, kewirausahaan dan kebudayaan) yang dapat dimanfaatkan untuk memajukan ilmu pengetahuan serta dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat. Abstract

This research focuses on the issue of the still high and continuously increasing population growth rate in Badung Regency, Bali Province, as well as the suboptimal implementation of the Kampung KB (Quality Family Village) program in Badung Regency. The objectives of this study are to determine the effectiveness of the Kampung KB program in Badung Regency, Bali Province; to identify the inhibiting factors affecting the effectiveness of the Kampung KB program in controlling the population growth rate in Badung Regency, Bali Province; and to understand the efforts made to improve the effectiveness of the Kampung KB program in controlling the population growth rate in Badung Regency, Bali Province. This research uses a descriptive method with an inductive approach, analyzed using Duncan’s theory of effectiveness. The data collection techniques employed are interviews, observation, and documentation, with data analysis techniques including data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the research indicate that the Kampung KB program has been effective in controlling the population growth rate in Badung Regency, Bali Province. However, several obstacles remain, such as the insufficient quantity and quality of extension workers and the lack of supporting infrastructure and facilities for the Kampung KB program. The DP3AP2KB (Office of Women's Empowerment, Child Protection, Population Control and Family Planning) has taken several steps, such as increasing the number of extension workers and allocating budgets to improve the infrastructure and facilities of the Kampung KB program. The results of this study show that although the Kampung KB program has been effective in controlling population growth, there are still challenges such as the lack of extension workers and inadequate facilities and infrastructure. The efforts made by DP3AP2KB to address these obstacles include increasing the number of extension workers and allocating funds to improve facilities and infrastructure. Abstract

The advancement of information technology has driven transformation in archive management, including within notary offices. Manual archiving systems, which are still commonly used, pose several issues such as data loss risks, limited accessibility, and inefficiencies in document retrieval. This study aims to develop a web-based notarial deed archiving information system to address these challenges. The development process adopts the Waterfall software development model, consisting of five stages: requirement analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The design phase includes Data Flow Diagrams (DFD), Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERD), and user interface layouts. The system is implemented using web-based technologies and includes core features such as login, dashboard statistics, deed input and management, document search by category and date, and print functionality. Testing is conducted using the black-box testing method, confirming that all functional requirements perform as expected. As a result, the proposed information system improves effectiveness, efficiency, and data security in managing notarial documents while ensuring compliance with applicable legal regulations.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze brand image,Word of Mouth (WOM), price on tourist decisions at The Royal Pita Maha. This research was conducted at The Royal Pita Maha. The research design used in this study was quantitative., The respondents for this study were all consumers at The Royal Pita Maha. The sample was drawn by multiplying the number of items in the questionnaire by 5 to 10.purposive samplingThis study used a sample size of 18 years old and above, who had stayed at The Royal Pita Maha and were willing to complete a questionnaire. Data collection methods included questionnaires and interviews. And documentation. The analysis technique in this study uses PLS analysis.. The results of the analysis show that 1)Brand imagehas a positive and significant influence on tourist decisions. The test results show the value of the influencebrand imagehas a positive and significant effect on tourist decisions, 2) Word of Mouth (WOMhas no significant effect on tourist decisions, 3) Price has a positive and significant effect on tourist decisions, 4)Brand imagehas a positive and significant effect on prices, 5)Word of Mouth(WOM) has a positive and significant influence on, 6) Brand Imagehas a positive and significant influence on tourist decisions through price, 7)Word of Mouth (WOM)has a positive and significant influence on tourist decisions through price. Abstract

This study explores in-depth the perceptions and experiences of employees at Toko Semat Sari Badung, a grocery store located at Jalan Semat Sari No. 3A, Tibubeneng Village, North Kuta, Badung, regarding the factors that drive their job satisfaction. Adopting a qualitative approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews with employees and the store owner, then analyzed thematically to uncover the meaning behind their narratives regarding salary, bonuses, working conditions, and relationships with coworkers. The findings indicate that while working conditions (the physical store environment) and relationships with coworkers (a sense of family) were consistently cited as highly significant sources of satisfaction and support, there were strong nuances of expectations regarding salary and bonuses. Employees perceived a gap between financial rewards and dedication, indicating a perception of fairness that management needs to address. Overall, this study reveals that job satisfaction at Toko Semat Sari Badung is the result of a complex interaction between a conducive physical environment, deep social support, and dynamics of compensation perceptions. Recommendations focus on open dialogue about compensation and strengthening appreciation, as well as ongoing efforts to foster a supportive work culture. Abstract

The enforcement of copyright on musical works in Indonesia has been expressly regulated in Law Number 28 of 2014 concerning Copyright. One form of infringement that often occurs is the playing of music in public places without permission from the copyright holder. The researcher analyzed copyright infringement committed by the Mie Gacoan company in Bali, which played music in its business area without obtaining a license or permit from the Collective Management Institution (LMK) as the representative of the copyright owner. This research uses a normative juridical approach by examining the provisions of laws and regulations and case studies that occur. The results of the analysis show that these actions include violations of the economic rights of the creator as referred to in Article 9 and Article 113 of the Copyright Law. In addition, companies can be subject to civil sanctions in the form of damages and criminal fines. The researcher emphasized the importance of legal awareness of business actors on the licensing obligation of the use of copyrights and the need to strengthen the supervisory and law enforcement functions by the authorities.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the marginalization of local cultural values and changes in the times that have led to younger generations becoming less familiar with local cultural values. It is important to strive to preserve local wisdom so that it is not lost, remains recognizable, and is known to future generations. This effort can be carried out through literature, particularly novels. Novels as literary works can be a strategic means of preserving local wisdom. The use of novels as a means of introducing local wisdom values can be integrated into high school literature education as teaching materials. The novel Lahbako by Nurillah Ahmad was selected as the object of this study with the aim of describing and explaining the forms of local wisdom values contained in the novel to be used as teaching materials for high school literature. This study is a qualitative study using a descriptive approach. Based on the analysis results, it was found that there are seven local wisdom values in the novel Lahbako by Nurillah Ahmad, namely beliefs/taboos, traditions, arts, value systems (good and bad), human life tools, livelihoods, and language systems. Thus, Nurillah Ahmad's novel Lahbako can be used as teaching material for high school students as an effort to introduce local wisdom values because this novel meets the criteria for suitability as teaching material.

Abstract

Koperasi is an organization established to improve collective welfare, one of which is through savings and loan facilities that help members meet living and business needs. Problems arise when members fail to fulfill their credit repayment obligations. An effective solution is alternative dispute resolution through mediation, a peaceful process assisted by a neutral third party without involving the court. This study applies a socio-legal method, examining law in relation to social reality based on objective data, information, and opinions collected in the field. Theoretical foundations include Dispute Resolution Theory, Mediation Theory, and Non-Performing Loan Theory. Findings show that mediation in Koperasi Jaya Mandiri Tabanan is effective in resolving problematic loans. The process emphasizes a family approach, open communication, and consensus, resulting in agreements without litigation. However, challenges occur when debtors fail to attend mediation despite being summoned, which hinders deliberation and reflects a lack of responsibility. Therefore, more intensive communication is needed to encourage debtor participation and ensure the effectiveness of mediation.

Abstract

Bio Urine Dosage and Planting Media Composition and Their Interactions on the Growth and Yield of Green Mustard (Brassica Juncea L.) The study was conducted at Tabanan University campus located at Jl. Wagimin No. 8, Kediri, Tabanan, Bali. The experiment in polybags used a factorial Randomized Block Design. The treatment was the dose of Bio Urine fertilizer and the composition of the planting media, each combination treatment was repeated 3 times. The highest total fresh weight of the plant was obtained with a dose of Bio Urine fertilizer of 90 ml liter-1 of air and a composition of the planting media of soil: cow manure: burnt rice husk with a ratio of 1: 2: 1 (P3M2) which was 95.7 g and the lowest was obtained in the treatment without Bio Urine fertilizer and the composition of the planting media of soil: cow manure: burnt rice husk with a ratio of 2: 1: 1 (P0M) which was only 72.0 g or an increase in yield of 32.92%. The Single Treatment of Bio Urine fertilizer dose had a very significant effect (P <0.01) on the total dry weight of the plant oven. The highest total dry weight of the plant oven was obtained in the Bio Urine Fertilizer dose treatment (90 ml liter1 air (p2) which was 7.35 g and the lowest was obtained in the Bio Urine fertilizer treatment (P0) which was only 5.64 g or an increase of 30.32%. The single treatment of the planting media composition had a very significant effect (P<0.01) on the results of the total dry weight of the plant oven.

Abstract

Understanding informatics logic is an important foundation in programming learning because it plays a role in shaping algorithmic and computational thinking patterns. However, various studies show that students often experience difficulties in understanding the concepts of propositional logic, inference, predicate logic, Boolean algebra, and their application in program control structures. This article aims to conduct a systematic literature review of related studies to obtain a comprehensive picture of the conceptual and practical challenges faced by students, as well as the learning strategies used to overcome them. The research method uses a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach by analyzing relevant and open access articles published between 2017 and 2025. The results of the study indicate a gap between mastery of logic theory and its application in program code. Key findings include misconceptions in propositional logic, difficulties in simplifying Boolean algebra, limited representation skills through flowcharts and pseudocode, weak computational thinking, and recurring errors such as off-by-one errors and variable misconceptions. This study emphasizes the importance of integrating logic teaching with programming, a practice-based approach, and the use of visual media and interactive technology to improve student understanding.

Abstract

Access to financing remains a significant barrier for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in developing their businesses in Indonesia. Two crucial factors in overcoming this barrier are financial literacy and banking inclusion. This study examines the relationship between bank financing, financial literacy, and banking inclusion through a literature review approach. The findings indicate that high financial literacy enables MSME actors to understand and manage financial information more effectively, thereby increasing their confidence in applying for loans. Banking inclusion, on the other hand, provides broader access for MSME actors to utilize various formal financial services, supporting the growth and sustainability of their businesses. The synergy between financial literacy and banking inclusion creates a more inclusive ecosystem, although challenges such as stringent collateral requirements and complex loan application processes still need to be addressed. Effective collaboration among financial institutions, government, and community organizations is essential to strengthen financial literacy and banking inclusion. Financial education programs tailored to the needs of MSMEs are expected to enhance their financial knowledge and skills, making them better prepared to seize financing opportunities. Sustainable collaborative efforts among various stakeholders are key to improving access to financing for MSMEs, thereby supporting inclusive and sustainable national economic growth.
