Abstract

ABSTRACT Breast milk is the best nutrition for infants aged 0-6 months because it contains all the nutrients needed for growth and development of the baby. But not all mothers realize this is evidenced by the low rate of exclusive breastfeeding. The purpose of this study is to know the efforts that have been made to improve exclusive breastfeeding and to review the policies that have been done by the government. The data were collected from literature studies and interviews with resource persons. The result of this study is maternal knowledge is a factor that much influence exclusive breastfeeding and efforts that have been done in the form of counseling, mentoring by family and hypnolaktasi. For the policy, the result is that the government has made a regulation that supports the implementation of exclusive breastfeeding but there has never been any monitoring and evaluation since its implementation is submitted to the local government. The conclusion of this study is that counseling on mothers and families is the most successful effort and proven successful in increasing the percentage of exclusive breastfeeding. Related policies in Indonesia need to be re-examined so that local governments are more concerned with the right of mothers in giving exclusive breastfeeding. Keywords: exclusive breastfeeding, counseling, policy ABSTRAK Air susu ibu merupakan nutrisi yang paling baik untuk bayi berusia 0-6 bulan karena mengandung semua unsur zat gizi yang diperlukan untuk pertumbuhan dan perkembangan bayi. Namun tidak semua ibu menyadarinya, hal ini terbukti dengan masih rendahnya angka pemberian air susu ibu (ASI) eksklusif. Tujuan dari kajian ini adalah untuk mengetahui upaya yang sudah dilakukan untuk meningkatkan pemberian ASI eksklusif serta mengkaji kembali kebijakan yang sudah dilakukan pemerintah. Data diperoleh dari kajian beerbagai literature dan wawancara dengan narasumber. Hasil dari kajian ini adalah faktor pengetahuan ibu merupakan faktor yang banyak mempengaruhi pemberian ASI eksklusif dan upaya yang sudah banyak dilakukan berupa konseling, pendampingan oleh keluarga dan hipnolaktasi. Untuk kebijakan didapatkan hasil bahwa pemerintah telah membuat peraturan yang mendukung pelaksanaan pemberian ASI eksklusif namun belum pernah ada monitoring dan evaluasi karena implementasinya diserahkan ke pemerintah daerah. Kesimpulan dari kajian ini adalah konseling atau penyuluhan pada ibu dan keluarga merupakan upaya yang paling banyak dilakukan dan berhasil meningkatkan minat ibu untuk pemberian ASI eksklusif. Sedangkan untuk kebijakan pemberian ASI eksklusif di Indonesia, tidak semua pemerintah daerah melaksanakan kebijakan tersebut dan belum ada sanksi bagi yang melanggar. Abstract

ABSTRACT Beef is one of the animal livestock that contain nutrient with a good bioavalibility. The objective of the study was to evaluate the nutrient content of frozen, cold, and fresh beef. The material of the study was cube roll, chuck dan blade. The location of beef sampling was done in three traditional markets and three supermarkets by 2016. The design of the study was cross-sectional study. The observed variables were market type, beef condition and beef section, while the dependent variable includes pH, proximat (water content, ash content, fat, and protein). The data were analyzed by t-test and ANOVA. The results showed that nutrient content did not differ between frozen, cold and fresh beef in both traditional markets and supermarkets, except the protein. Protein content in cold beef was higher than frozen beef (p <0.05). Beef had a water content of 63,39-74,66 %; ash content 2,91-4,19 % dry weight; protein 54,42-79,18 % dry weight; fat 9,57-37,32 % dry weight and had a pH of 5,23-5,64. Fresh, cold and frozen beef that came from traditional markets and supermarkets still had a good quality. Freezing beef that does not exceed a month could maintain the nutritional quality of beef. Keywords: freezing beef, fresh beef, frozen beef, nutrient content ABSTRAK Daging merupakan salah satu bahan pangan asal ternak yang mengandung zat-zat gizi dengan mutu yang sangat baik. Tujuan dari penelitian adalah untuk mengevaluasi kandungan zat gizi daging beku, dingin, dan segar. Desain penelitian adalah potong lintang. Lokasi sampling daging dilakukan di tiga pasar tradisional dan tiga pasar swalayan, pada tahun 2016. Variabel bebas terdiri dari jenis pasar, kondisi daging, bagian daging, sedangkan variabel terikat meliputi pH, proksimat (kadar air, kadar abu, lemak dan protein). Analisis data menggunakan uji T (t-test) dan analisis varians (ANOVA). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kandungan gizi tidak berbeda antara daging segar, dingin, dan beku baik di pasar tradisional maupun swalayan, kecuali kadar protein. Kandungan protein pada daging dingin lebih tinggi dibandingkan daging beku (p<0,05). Daging memiliki kandungan air 63,39-74,66 %; abu 2,91-4,19 % berat kering; protein 54,42-79,18 % berat kering; lemak 9,57-37,32 % berat kering dan memiliki kadar pH 5,23-5,64. Daging segar, dingin dan beku yang berasal dari pasar tradisional dan pasar swalayan masih memiliki kualitas yang baik. Pembekuan daging yang tidak melebihi satu bulan dapat mempertahankan kualitas gizi daging. Kata kunci: daging beku, daging dingin, daging segar, pembekuan daging, kadar protein

Abstract

ABSTRACT Integrated health service (Posyandu) is one form of strategic health effort, which provides public health services. One of the posyandu function is as promotion media and growth monitoring of children under five. The purpose of this research was to know the implementation of child growth monitoring at posyandu level in Bandung district. This was an operational studies with qualitative design.Data were collected by depth interview, focus group discussion, and observation. The population of this research were all of the institution that responsible of nutrition surveillance. There were Regencies District Health Office, Primary Health Center (Puskesmas), and Posyandu, in Bandung District, West Java. This research is operational research with qualitatif design. Colected data used with indepth interview, focus group discusion and observasi. Indepth interview used to offices, health workers from two community health centers, and village officials. Group discussions were conducted on cadres and mothers of underfives children. This research show posyandu activities have been going well but have not implemented monitoring function of child growth. Plot weight were not doing well in KMS, interpretation of child growth were still unsuitable, and counseling had not done well. Repositioning of posyandu is needed as a means of growth monitoring children under five years and efforts to increase knowledge about routine growth monitoring for health workers and cadres. Keyword: growth monitoring, integrated health service, under five years old Abstrak Pos pelayanan terpadu (Posyandu) merupakan salah satu bentuk upaya kesehatan yang strategis, yang menyediakan layanan kesehatan masyarakat. Salah satu fungsi posyandu adalah sebagai media promosi dan pemantauan pertumbuhan anak umur bawah lima tahun (balita). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan pemantauan pertumbuhan balita di tingkat posyandu di Kabupaten Bandung, Jawa Barat. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian operasional dengan desain kualitatif. Pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam, diskusi kelompok terarah. Wawancara mendalam dilakukan kepada petugas di dinas kesehatan kabupaten, tenaga kesehatan dari dua pukesmas terpilih, dan aparat desa. Diskusi kelompok dilakukan pada kader dan ibu balita, dan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan posyandu sudah berjalan baik namun belum melaksanakan fungsi pemantauan pertumbuhan balita. Masih banyak yang tidak melakukan plot hasil penimbangan pada KMS (kartu menuju sehat), interpretasi terhadap perubahan berat badan belum dilakukan dengan benar dan konseling yang belum berjalan baik. Perlu dilakukan reposisi posyandu sebagai sarana pemantauan pertumbuhan balita dan upaya untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang pemantauan pertumbuhan secara rutin bagi tenaga kesehatan dan kader. Abstract

ABSTRACT The highest tuberculosis (TB) mortality and morbidity occured in developing countries, including Indonesia. In terms of nutrition, WHO expects TB research conducted nationwide to provide scientific evidence that all important tuberculosis patients are assessed nutritional status and given nutritional counseling in all health facilities. There also need an operational standard in the treatment of malnutrition due to TB. The aims of this study were to identify nutrient intake and blood micronutrient level in TB patients before and after 2 months of therapy with nutritional counseling. The pre-experimental pretest posttest 1 group study was conducted in 10 Puskesmas in Bogor District in 68 pulmonary tuberculosis patients aged 15-55 years. Primary data were collected through interviews, anthropometric measurements and laboratory checks. Results of BTA examination showed that most patients were TB patients with BTA 1 + 49.1% and 35.8% with BTA 3 +, the rest of BTA 2+ and scanty. There were significant differences in macro and micronutrient intake before and after intensive phase therapy accompanied by nutritional counseling (p <0.05). The levels of retinol, selenium, vitamin D and vitamin E in the blood also showed significant differences before and after intensive phase therapy (p <0.05). The macro and micronutrient intake after intensive phase therapy was higher than before. Most of patients experienced an increase in dietary intake in almost all food group, as well as micronutrient levels (retinol, selenium, vitamin D and vitamin E) in the blood increased after intensive phase therapy with nutrition counseling. Keyword: nutrition intake, pulmonary tuberculosis, nutrition counseling ABSTRAK Angka kesakitan dan kematian TB tertinggi ada di negara berkembang, termasuk di Indonesia. Dari segi nutrisi, WHO mengharapkan penelitian TB yang dilakukan di seluruh negara dapat memberikan bukti ilmiah bahwa semua pasien TB penting dinilai status gizinya dan diberikan konseling gizi di semua sarana kesehatan dan perlunya ditetapkan standar operasional dalam penanganan malnutrisi akibat TB. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi asupan gizi dan kadar mikronutrien pasien TB sebelum dan sesudah terapi 2 bulan dengan konseling gizi. Desain penelitian pra-eksperimental pretest posttest 1 kelompok dilakukan di 10 Puskesmas di Kabupaten Bogor pada 68 pasien TB paru, berusia antara 15-55 tahun. Data primer dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, pengukuran antropometri dan pemeriksaan laboratorium. Hasil pemeriksaan BTA menunjukkan bahwa pasien terbanyak adalah pasien TB dengan BTA 1 + sebesar 49,1 % dan 35,8 % dengan BTA 3 + sisanya BTA 2+ dan scanty. Terdapat perbedaan bermakna pada asupan makro dan mikronutrien sebelum dan setelah terapi fase intensif yang disertai konseling gizi (p<0.05). Kadar retinol, selenium, vitamin D dan vitamin E dalam darah juga menunjukkan perbedaan bermakna sebelum dan sesudah terapi fase intensif (p<0.05). Rerata asupan makro dan mikronutrien sesudah terapi fase intensif lebih tinggi dibandingkan sebelum terapi. Sebagian besar pasien mengalami peningkatan pola konsumsi makan pada hampir semua golongan bahan makanan, begitu juga dengan kadar mikronutrien (retinol, selenium, vitamin D dan vitamin E) dalam darah mengalami peningkatan sesudah terapi fase intensif yang telah disertai konseling gizi. Abstract

The prevalence of autism has increased significantly to 1 person with autism per 50 children in the last year compared to 2010 data on the prevalence of autism 1 per 68 children. One of the causes found in children with autism is a disorder of the immune system that underlies the occurrence of food allergies. The immune system is mostly located in the gastrointestinal tract. The purpose of this study was to assess the effectiveness of nutritional counseling on knowledge, attitudes and actions of mothers in improving the consumption patterns of children with autism. The design of this research is quasi experimental study, with sampling technique is consecutive sampling. Based on the inclusion criteria, the mother who is willing to be a sample of 36 mothers of children with autism in Inclusion School and Special School of Kupang City. The analysis used is Paired-Sample t test and Independent-Sample t test. The results showed that mother's knowledge, attitudes and actions about food for autistic children increased significantly between before and after intervention (p <0.05). Mother knowledge, attitudes and actions increase after intervention. Effective nutrition counseling improves the average score of knowledge, attitudes and actions of mothers is high compared with the control group.
