Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of revenues and receivables turnover on the profitability of Tri Cipta Sukses Mandiri. The search will be performed using multiple regression analysis. The results of the details of this study indicate that the turnover has a significant effect on profitability. can be proved by the probability of 0.000 <0.05, concluded that hypothesis 1 of this study was accepted. While the results of the second hypothesis indicated by the turnover of the receivables do not have a significant effect on the profitability, this can be proved by the probability of Sig 0,231> 0,05, it is concluded that the second hypothesis of this study was rejected. And for the 3rd hypothesis in this study indicated by the turnover and the turnover of the receivables has an influence on the profitability, by looking at the probability of 0.000 <0.05, it is concluded that the third hypothesis this study is accepted. Looking at the R2 test, we can conclude that the probability variable can be explained by 67.3% of turnover in cash and the claim and that the remaining 32.7% can be explained by other variables, outside of this research.

Abstract

Language is known as a communication tool that is very important for a human being to convey messages, opinions or ideas. Sociolinguistics is a science that discuss about language seen from the society. Slang word is a kind of language variety which is informal and use in a society. The purpose of this research is to analyze word formation and find out social functions of slang words in Rihanna's song lyrics. This research is kind of qualitative research. In the process of collecting data, researcher used observation method. Moreover, Pragmatic Identity method with dividing key-factors technique was used to analyze data of this research. After analyzing the collected data, it can be seen the types of word formation which were used in Rihanna’s song lyrics. There were 37 data found from Rihanna’s songs. The data were divided into 5 types of word formation in Slang word found in Rihanna’s song lyrics. Those types were coinage 1 data, blending 10 data, clipping 19 data, acronym 3 data and the last prefixes and suffixes 1 data. It can be concluded that there were many slang words used in Rihanna’s song lyric.

Abstract

The purposive of this study to determine the influence of third-party funds and capital adequacy ratio to profitabilitas at Bank Riau Kepri Batam city. The data usedin this research is secondary data such as monthly financial statement Bank Riau Kepri Batam city for a periodof five years from 2012 to 2016. The sample used probability sampling method in which all of the population has a chance to be a sample of 60 observations. The method of analys in this study using multiplelinier regression. The result showed that the partial of third-party funds and significant effect on profitabilitas of 0,000 and capital adequacy ratio significant on profitabilitas of 0,013. Simultaneously, third-party funds and capital adequacy ratio significantly positif on profitabilitas. Rated R Square of 81,0%. this shows the value of variabel third-party funds and capital adequacy ratio are able to explain the profitabilitas amounted to 81,0%.

Abstract

The establishment of a company is always backedi up with the aim of earning profit or profit, to increase profits the company must have good performance and prospects. The purpose of this study is to find out how much influence and to find out more about the effect of working capital, accounts receivable turnover and inventory turnover on profitability (ROA) of companies listed on the Indonesiai Stock Exchange. The population in this study were companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The technique used in the study was Purposive sampling with criteria that met the requirements and obtained 8 manufacturing companies that were included with the data within a period of 5 years to obtain a sample of 40. Secondary data used in the study. The results showed partially that the working capital variable had a significant effect on ROA, while the accounts receivable variable and inventory turnover did not affect ROA. The results of the analysis simultaneously or overall show that the variables of working capital, accounts receivable turnover and inventory turnover together have ai significant effect on ROA.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Effect of Motivation and Compensation on Employee Performance. This research was conducted at PT Mega Buana Indah in Batam City. The population in this study amounted to 156 people. In this study the sampling technique used is classified as a non probability sampling technique with a simple random sampling technique. By using the Slovin formula, the samples in this study were 113 respondents. The analytical tool used in this study is SPSS (Statistical Product and Services Solution) version 21. This study produces multiple linear regression equations and has R Square Value (R2) in this study of 38.2%. Based on the results of the t-test research partially obtained results that Motivation has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance. Compensation has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance. Based on the results of the F test, the results showed that Motivation and Compensation together had a positive and significant effect on the Employee Performance of PT Mega Buana Indah in Batam City.

Abstract

Indonesia as a country with the majority Muslim religion needs attention to food product that are free in the market, but also needs to be noted that the food consumed is healthy. Basically, the inclusion of halal labeling is not mondatory or voluntary, but if a manufacturer is found to falsify a label without a certificate being carried out, the producer will be sanctioned in accordance with the applicable laws or regulations. This is done so that people know clear and honest information about the products they buy in the market. In this thesis the author uses normative research methods. The purpose of this paper is to find out how to label and sanction what is imposed if the producer violates the provisions of halal certification and labeling. Related to the licensing of certification is the authority (MUI) through the (LPPOM MUI) and for labeling were carried out by (BPPOM) after obtaining the permit file from LPPOM MUI. Regarding the law on guarantee of halal product number 33 of 2014 still awaiting government regulations (PP) to be carried out in accordance with the laws of the Halal Product Guarantee Board (BPJPH) later after the PP is issued, the certification authority is at BPJPH.

Abstract

Employees in a company that have good work performance are valuable assets for the company, each company must have dreams and hopes to build good work performance so that the company can compete in its business. Work discipline and work quality are several factors that can affect the work performance of employees in a company. This study aims to determine whether there is an influence between discipline, and work quality on employee work performance at PT Perkasa Beton Batam. Oppo in this research were employees of PT Perkasa Beton Batam with a sample size of 101 people. This research method is quantitative causality research and uses multiple regression analysis. The results of the study showed that discipline and quality of work partial had a significant influence on the performance of employees of PT Perkasa Beton Batam. Partially discipline and work quality are two factors that can jointly influence employee performance, and work quality has a significant effect on employee performance. So it can be concluded that discipline and work quality are two factors that can jointly influence employee performance.

Abstract

In this study entitled The Influence of Service Quality and Trust in Satisfaction of Batam Health Care Patients, The purpose of this study was to determine the quality of services implemented by the Tamrin Health Care and Trust Clinic of patients towards the Tamrin Health Care Clinic that was used was using quantitative methods and using questionnaires. Are there any effects of service quality on patient trust and satisfaction. The sampling method in this study is to use probability sampling method, which is a sample lighting technique that provides equal opportunities for each member of the population to be selected as a sample. Thus Service Quality (X1) and Trust (X2) have a positive effect on Patient Satisfaction (Y) at Tamrin Health Care Clinic. That is Service Quality variable (X1) proves with significant value (0,000) <alpha value (0,05) and value so that t count> t table 5,919> 1,9717, Trust variable (X2) is significant (0,006) <alpha value (0,05) ) and value so that t count> t table 2,785> 1,9717, variable Patient Satisfaction (Y) is significant (0,000) <alpha value (0,05) and fcount> f table (32,886> 3,04).

Abstract

Audit quality is something that cannot be separated from the auditor, because the results of his work can be assessed from the quality of the audit he provides. there are many factors in audit quality, including accountability, motivation and independence of an auditor. This study aims to examine whether these factors have a significant influence on audit quality. This study uses a simple random sampling method, by distributing questionnaires randomly to auditors in Batam City. this study has results that illustrate that Accountability, Motivation and Independence simultaneously have a significant influence on Audit Quality. Based on the f test of Accountability, Motivation and Independence on Audit Quality, it can be seen that Ho is rejected, Ha is accepted which means Accountability, Motivation and Independence together (simultaneous) have a significant effect on Audit Quality.

Abstract

This research is a sociolinguistic research that investigates the relationship between language and society, especially in the use of tag switching. The purpose of this research is to find out the type of tag switching that is used by instagram users in the #jakselliterary and to know the function of tag switching that is done by the instagram users. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The object of the research is tag switching in the #anakjakselliterary instagram. In collecting data, researchers used the observation method and used the pragmatic identity method. To analyze the type of tag switching, researchers used the theory of Holmes (2001) and Poplack (1980). As well as to examine the function of tag switching, researchers used the theory by Appel and Muysken (1987). The results showed that the switching tags used in the #jakselliterary they are sentence fillers, interjection and discourse markers. In addition, researchers also found the function of tag switching, namely metalinguistic, directive, expressive, phatic, and poetic.
