Abstract

This research was conducted aimed at testing and analyzing the effect on Deviden Policy, profitability and solvency on manufacturing componies in the plastik and packaging sectors listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange period 2013-2017. The type of data used was purposive sampling and the number of samples used was 7 plastic and packaging companies. Devidend policy variables, profitbility and solvency as independent variables, stock princes as the dependent variable. This data collection is done by observing the financial statements of plastik ang packanging componies on the Indonesian Stock Exchange. The result of classical assumption test show normal distribution data. The result of study prove that dividend policy partially does not have significant effect on stock princes, profitability has a significant effect on stock prices and solvency has a significant effect on stock prices. Dividend policy, profitability, and solvency simultaneously have a significant effect on stock prices in plastik and packaging componies listed on the stock exchange.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the description of the variables of service quality, servicescape and customer satisfaction and to know and analyze partially and simultaneously service quality and servicescape to customer satisfaction at PT Bank Sinarmas Raflessia cash office in Batam branch. The population studied in the study was a customer of PT Bank Sinarmas, the Batam branch of Raflessia cash office with 3000 customers. The sample in this study amounted to 125 customers with probability sampling technique. This type of research is quantitative research. This study uses a multiple linear regression analysis method. Test the quality of data used in this study using validity and reliability tests which indicate that the indicators used are valid for measuring existing variables. From the results of this study conclusions are that service quality and servicescape have a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction at the PT Bank Sinarmas Raflessia cash office in the Batam branch.

Abstract

This research was conducted to test and analyze the influence of managerial ownership, institusional owrnership and dividend policy on debt policy of companies listed on the IDX. The independent variable are managerial ownership, institusional owrnership and dividend policy. The population in the study is a food and beverage sub-sector manufacturing company listed on the IDX 2013-2017 hypothesis testing carried out using statistical test namely F test and t-test. Of the 18 companies, 8 companies have met the criteria to be used as research samples. This the data analyzed amounts to 40. Managerial ownership has a significant effect on the company’s debt policy with a significant value of 0,00< 0,05. Institusional ownership has a significant influence on the company debt policy with a significant value of 0.254< 0,05. Dividend policy has a significant influence on corporate debt policy with a significant value of 0,05< 0,05. Jointly managerial ownership, institusional ownership and dividend policy towards the company’s debt policy, with a significant value of F 0,000< 0,005. From the result of the test R square has a value of 41.8% while the remaining 58.2%

Abstract

This thesis uses quantitative research through survey methods to consumers at PT. Matahari Department Store Mega mall Batam. regarding Service Quality and Product Quality affect customer satisfaction. While the data analysis technique used is a method of quantitative analysis, multiple linear analysis and hypothesis testing. The population in this study were as many as 140 consumers. Subjects in the study were consumers of the LGS Casual brand who were respondents. The results of Service Quality research show that the value of t count is 5,101 with a significant level of 0,000 is smaller than 0.05, which means that the hypothesis in this study service quality has a significant effect on Consumer Satisfaction. The results of product quality research shows that the t count value is 5,101 with a significant level of 0,000 is smaller than 0.05, which means that the hypothesis in this study product quality has a significant effect on consumer satisfaction. The results showed F value of 55,079 with a significant level of 0,000 smaller than 0.05 that partially, the variable Service Quality and Product quality had a significant effect on Consumer Satisfaction.

Abstract

Changes in the environment constantly rolling in the process of development of a State, either directly or indirectly affect the life of the economy and society. In a highly competitive globalization, every organization will try to survive. Companies are faced with such complex circumstances and are required to be able to determine a strategy as a tool to deal with the situation. One step is to run an effective and efficient marketing concept. The purpose of this research is there is influence between product, price, promotion and distribution channel to decision of purchasing mobile phone Iphone dibatam in this research is all population which is used is consumer who buy mobile phone Iphone in Town batam. The retrieval technique used is Likert scale. The samples taken based on the above formula is 400 people. Analyzer used is doubled linear regression with first tested with validity test and reliability. The result of this research is product, promotion price and distribution channel to decision of purchasing mobile phone in batam.

Abstract

The spread of false and misleading news (hoax) itself has a definition of a news or statement that has invalid information or false news that has no certainty that is deliberately disseminated to make the situation excited and cause fear. If previously the spread of false and misleading news (hoaxes) was disseminated through SMS or e-mail with a lot, then the hoaxes are currently circulating more on social media. Related to the formulation of Article 28 paragraph (1) of the ITE Law which uses the phrase "spreading false news", actually in the provisions of Article 390 of the Criminal Code (KUHP), even though the formulation is slightly different, the phrase "broadcast false news" is used. In the application of article 28 paragraph (1) of the ITE Law there must be consumer losses as material requirements and also in applying the article, the social networking service providers cannot be charged with the provisions of article 55 of the Criminal Code as participating in the spread of false news carried out by the perpetrators through social networks.

Abstract

Taxes are one source of state revenue comes from the people, which will be used to build the facilities needed by the community. Once the magnitude of the needs of the State, it was the tax revenue every year is not so encouraging, because it does not achieve the desired targets. This studyy aims to determine the effect of tax awareness, tax penalties and tax This study used a simple random sampling,using the formula solvin, there are 100 samples were examined and treated by using SPSS software version20.The hypothesis will be tested by t test and F test with a significance level of 10%. From the test results indicate that the F count (2,313)> F table (2,14). From the test t test shows a partial awareness of taxation positive and significant impact on tax compliance, with a value of F count> t table (1,894> 1,661), the sanction tax positive effect on tax compliance, with the value of t count (0.966)> t table (1,661), and the tax amnesty is not a positive effect on tax compliance with t count (1,195)> t table (1,661). From the result of determination (R 2 )0,067, which means awareness of taxation, tax penalties and tax amnesty has the effect of 6,7 percent on tax compliance. Referring to the results, we can conclude that the awareness of taxation, tax penalties and tax amnesty has a role in the increased tax and compliance in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to determine employee performance and employee performance factors in the Batam City Population and Civil Registry Service. This type of research is descriptive qualitative, that is describing or describing all events obtained in the field and for solving problems that exist based on data. Data collection is carried out through interviews directly to speakers and observations in the field. The sources of this research were the Head of the Civil Registration Service Division, the Birth Certificate, Employee or Staff and the service user community at Disduk and Capil in Batam City. From the results of this study, overall Employee Performance Disduk and Capil of Batam City are not good enough in providing services. Judging from the indicators of organizational performance measurement, which includes Productivity, Service Quality, Response, Responsibility, and Accountability. It is evidenced by the lack of Human Resources that do not support Disduk and Civil Registry Employee Performance in Batam City in dealing with the high demand for the production of birth certificates reinforced by conditions that are not sufficiently adequate. In terms of productivity employees can be said to be less qualified because of some placement of employees who do not match their expertise.

Abstract

The issue of Compensation and Work Motivation for employees is a classic problem that must still be placed to get work productivity and Job Satisfaction for employees. By taking the title of research on the Effect of Compensation and Work Motivation on Employees of PT BPR Dana Nusantara in Batam City, to see the extent of the influence of these two variables on Employee Job Satisfaction. The research method used is to take a sample of 119 employees consisting of several divisions at BPR Dana Nusantara Batam. The Data Collection Technique used in this study was by interviewing directly and distributing randomly distributed questionnaires to employees of PT BPR Dana Nusantara in Batam City. Test the research data using Validity Test, Reliability Test, Normality Test, Determination Coefficient Test (R2), Partial T Test and Simultaneous F Test. From this study found results that Fcount is greater than Ftable and Thitung is greater than Ttable which means that this study simultaneously and partially has a significant effect in increasing employee job satisfaction in a company.

Abstract

This descriptive qualitative research aims to find out the type of category shifts proposed by Catford in English-Indonesia bilingual book Little Companion (2017) written by Arleen Aaron Randy and the significant contribution of category shifts from source language to target language. The data were collected by using observation method and non-participatory technique. The data were analyzed by using translational identity method and translational competence in-dividing technique. There were four types of category shift found. Structure shift functioned to change in grammatical structure from source language to target language. Class shifts occurred when the translation equivalent of source language item was a member of different class of word, from noun to adjective, and clause to verb. Intra-system shift functioned to change the plural to singular. And unit shift was applied when the unit at one level in source language became different level in the target language. There were high level to lower level, and low level to higher level in unit shift. The significant contribution of category shifts in translating was to re-express the same meaning, to vary the translation way, to encourage social culture, to reveal the same meaning, and to get easily the result of translation shifts.
