Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find the effect of service quality, sales promotion and brand image on customer loyalty at the Sadai Bengkong branch Indomaret. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling method where the selected sample were customers who had made transactions at Indomaret and the age limit was 17 years and over with a total of 356 samples.The study uses a Likert scale, the variables to be measured are translated into indicators of data source variables obtained through primary data and secondary data. the data is processed with the windows application SPSS version 25. The data were processed using multiple linear regression statistical tests. The results showed that the service quality variable with a value of Sig 0.002 <0.05, the sales promotion variable with a value of 0.000 <0.05 and the brand image variable 0.000 <0.05 had a significant influence on customer loyalty at Indomaret Sadai Bengkong branch. The variables of Service Quality, Sales Promotion and Brand Image with a sig value of 0.000 <0.05 have a simultaneous effect on customer loyalty

Abstract

The stock price is an important value for the company where the higher the value of the stock can certainly produce positive things for the company, both material or profit and corporate image that can attract investors. This study aims to examine the effect of profitability and solvency ratios on stock prices in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This study examines several manufacturing companies in the consumption industry sector that publish their financial statements for the period 2016 to 2020. There are several data analyzes used, namely classical assumption tests such as normality tests, multicollinearity tests, autocorrelation tests and heteroscedasticity tests. The results of the data normality test have a normal distribution of significance, namely 0.125, which is greater than 0.5, than the other classical assumption tests, there are no deviations. The results of multiple linear regression are ROE and DER have a positive influence on stock prices and on hypothesis testing, have a value of 17.542 and f-table 3.25 and a sig value of 0.000 <0.05, therefore ROE and DER have an effect on stock prices, then with ttest ROE has an effect on stock prices where the t-value is 0.002 <0.05 and DER has no effect on stock prices where the t-value is 0.131 > 0.05. The coefficient of determination of the value of R2 is 48%, therefore the ROE and DER variables affect the stock price by 48% and the remaining 52% is influenced by other variables or factors that are not included in this study.

Abstract

Human resources are factors that need to be considered by a company. Human resources are a driving force for running the company and as an asset for the survival of the company, both in the short and long term. All companies must have the same goal, namely to achieve a profit and have a very small risk of loss. In order to achieve that goal, a company must maximize the use of production and non-production factors. From this phenomenon, the title of this study was taken to be investigated more deeply. This study aims to analyze whether there is an effect of communication, work discipline and work motivation on employee performance at Awal Bros Hospital Batam. This type of research uses quantitative research, with primary data conducted by distributing questionnaires to 241 respondents. The sampling technique in this study used simple random sampling method and the data analysis method used was descriptive method, validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, coefficient of determination test, and hypothesis testing. The data was processed with the help of SPSS version 25, the results showed that the variables of communication, work discipline and work motivation had a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The results of the coefficient of determination of 0.415 indicate that the variables of communication, work discipline and work motivation affect employee performance by 41.5% and the remaining 58.5% is influenced by other variables.Abstract.

Abstract

Every company wants employee performance to continuously improve in order to achieve the firm’s goals.This research aims to analyze the impact of compensation and work motivation on worker performance at PT Radomas Makmur Motor. Quantitative study is a kind of study with a population of 150 person. Data collectors make use of questionnaires and this reserach using a saturated sample technique, which means that the entire population is sampled. The data was processed using SPSS 25 with the yield of compensation t arithmetic > t table of 6.432 > 1.655 with a significance worth of 0.000 <0.05 which means that compensation has a positive and significant impact on worker performance. Work motivation has a t count > t table of 4.023 > 1.655 with a significance of 0.000 <0.05, which means that work motivation has a positive and significant impact on employee performance. As well as compensation and work motivation together have a positive and significant impact on worker performance as indicated by the yield of the F test with an F value of 86.347> Ftable 2.66 with a significance of 0.000 <0.05 and the R worth of 0.54 or 54%. 2

Abstract

An organization can be said to go forward or backward depending on its human resources. A way is needed so employees can improve their performance well in carrying out company activities. So that can increase employee performance, it is necessary to pay attention to job satisfaction and work motivation of employees. This study aims to determine the effect of job satisfaction and work motivation on employee performance at PT Global Welindo Batam. This study uses quantitative methods with the nature of development research. This study has a population of 110 people. And the sampling technique used in this research uses non-probability sampling with saturated sampling technique, where the total population is the same as the number of samples. The results of this research indicate that job satisfaction and work motivation simultaneously affect employee performance at PT Global Welindo Batam with a determination coefficient of 62.9%.

Abstract

Batam is an special economic zone, which all land and assets in Batam City belong to the central goverment which are registered as property of the Ministry of Finance which is entrusted to managed by BP Batam. Fixed assets recorded as assets owned by BP Batam Hospital Business Entity are pasrt of BMN (State Owned Goods). Fixed assets are a fundamental part of every company or govermen, therefore it is necesary to have a clear recordof the fixed assets owned by BP Batam Hospital Business Entity. Therefore, planing and supervision are need which follow the aplication recording standar in Indonesia Financial Accounting Standar No.16 relating to acquisition, measurement, depreciation, termination, and disclosure of fixed assets. The main purepose of this study is to analyze the suitability of the accounting treatment of fixed assets owned by BP Batam Hospital Business Entity with the Statement of Financial Accounting Standard No.16, as well as the data colection method in study using interviews, literature studies, and documentation and using desciptive qualitatif data analysis techniques so that obtained a clear overview of the social situation, facts, nature, and the relationship between the investigated phenomena related of the accounting treatment of fixed assets. The results of the researc can concluded that BP’s Batam Enterprises Hospital Batam has recorded owned fixed assets in accordance with Statement of Financial Accounting Standard (IAS) No.16 and declarated to have complied with applicable financial accounting standards.

Abstract

Human resources are also one of the biggest supporters in the running of an activity that occurs within the company, although almost all companies use machines to carry out production, but companies still need human resources to run these machines, therefore human resources are the most important aspect in company. This will be an important issue for the company in providing training and placement of employees because it will have an impact on employee performance. The purpose of this study was to determine the partial and simultaneous influence between training and placement on employee performance. The technique used in this study is to identify the partial effect (t test) and simultaneous effect (f test) between the training variables (X1) and placement (X2) on employee performance (Y) at PT Vasan Mandiri Indonesia. The method used in this research is descriptive analysis using SPSS version 25 program tools. Data collection techniques were carried out by distributing questionnaires to employees of PT Vasan Mandiri Indonesia as many as 110 respondents. The results of the coefficient of determination (R2) in the summary model seen from the R square of the training, placement, and employee performance variables worth 0.673 or 63.7%, while the t-test on the training variable with a significance of 0.000 <0.05 and the placement variable with a significance 0.001 <0.05, each variable has a significant effect on employee performance variables. The results of the F test are 98,803> 2.69 and a significance value of 0.000 <0.05 which shows that the training and placement variables simultaneously have a significant effect on employee performance.

Abstract

Air pollution is a problem that currently still occurs in the Southeast Asia region, which is the result of forest fires, the impact of which is directly felt by two other neighboring countries, namely Malaysia and Singapore. As for in this paper, the author makes two formulations of legal issues regarding state responsibility in the Asean Agreement on Transboundary Haze Pollution (AATHP) and the responsibility of the Indonesian state for forest fires in the Sumatran Riau region. Based on the data and findings that the authors obtained in this study, Indonesia must carry out State Responsibility internationally as a country that has resulted in haze pollution as contained in Articles 35 to 37 of the 2001 ILC Draft concerning State Responsibility in the form of restitution, compensation, or satisfaction. And the conclusion contained in this journal is that the form of accountability carried out by the Indonesian state is a form of satisfaction or an official apology conveyed by the Indonesian government. Meanwhile, when Indonesia has ratified the AATHP agreement, automatically Indonesia and other participating countries are jointly responsible for the pollution of haze and smoke pollution in the Southeast Asian region. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of financial literacy, financial behaviorand income on investment decisions of students in the accounting study program in BatamCity. The students who became the population in this study were students of theaccounting study program with the even-numbered 2020 learning year with a total of 1,190students. This research uses a purposive sampling technique with the Slovin formula toobtain a total sample of 100 respondents. The analytical technique used in this research ismultiple linear regression analysis. From the results of the T test of financial literacy andfinancial behavior, it does not have a positive effect on investment decisions with a Tcountvalue smaller than Ttable -0.306 < 2.277 and a significance value of 0.760 > 0.05 and1.496 < 2.277 and a significance of 0.138 > 0.05. The income variable has a significantpositive effect on investment decisions with Tcount greater than the value of Ttable 27.862> 2.277 and a significance of 0.00 > 0.05. Simultaneously, financial literacy, financialbehavior and income affect investment decisions.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of leadership style and work environment on employee performance at the Food and Drug Supervisory Agency in Batam, using the saturated sample technique, in which all the population was sampled as many as 108 respondents who were employees of the Food and Drug Supervisory Agency in Batam. Batam. The method of data collection is a questionnaire. The data quality test in this study uses validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests and influence tests in this study using multiple linear regression analysis and analysis of the coefficient of determination (R2), while hypothesis testing in this study uses (t test) and (F test) by using the software program SPSS 25. The coefficient of determination (R2) obtained from the variables of leadership style and work environment has an effect of 66.6% on employee performance. The results of multiple linear regression test show that leadership style (X1) has an effect of 22.9% on employee performance (Y) and work environment (X2) has an effect of 54.2% on employee performance (Y). From the results of the t test and F test, it can be concluded that leadership style has a partially significant effect on employee performance and the work environment has a partially significant effect on employee performance, and leadership style and work environment together have a significant simultaneous effect on employee performance at the Agency.
