Abstract

The improvement of life is currently increasing, turning into a more modern lifestyle pattern. This is what makes companies compete for market share. Customer satisfaction is a benchmark for a company to achieve the desired process. This study examines and analyzes the effect of perceived expectations and service excellence on Lois brand satisfaction in Batam. type of research is a quantitative thesis. The population in this study are customers who visit and shop The.sample.used in this study was100 people. Perception shows the tcount value of 0.0604 with a significance of 0.0547 > 0.05, the tcount value is greater than the ttable value (0.604 > 1.98498), the regression coefficient has a positive value of 031 or 31%. then the hypothesis is rejected, meaning that the perception variable partially has no significant effect on satisfaction. multiple regression on the expectation variable (X2) of 0.581 has a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction. This can be seen from the significance of 0.000 <0.05 and the t-count value of 5.088> t-table of 1.98498 which means the hypothesis is accepted. Service excellence has a significant effect with a t-test of 0.000 less than 0.05 and a t-count value of 4.884 > ttable 1.98498 which means the hypothesis is accepted. Keywords: perceptions;expectations;service excellence;customer satisfaction.

Abstract

Communication is a very important part of human activity. Not only in organizational life, but in human life in general. We all interact with each other by means of communication. Communication can be done in simple to complex ways, and technology has now drastically changed the way humans communicate. The pattern of communication is a system of delivering messages through certain symbols, containing certain meanings and direct transfers to change the behavior of other individuals for the behavior of other individuals. The purpose of this study was to determine what communication patterns are effective in improving employee performance and the obstacles and efforts made to resolve them. This type of research is using descriptive research. Data collection techniques through participant observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The subjects in this study were selected using a purposive sampling technique. The results of this study indicate that effective communication patterns improve employee performance.

Abstract

Researchers want to investigate the extent to which design, product quality and branding play a role in improving purchasing decisions. The sampling technique was saturated, with 107 respondents covering the entire population. Data collection techniques through questionnaires and literature study. The analytical method used is multiple regression, which includes: validity test, reliability test, normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, determination test, partial test. The results showed that the design partially had an effect of 4.096 > 1.983 from the t table, which was 0.00 less than 0.05 alpha. While the quality of the product partially affects 0.096 < 1.983 of the t table, 0.360 is greater than alpha 0.05. While the sign has a partial effect of 4.212 > 1.983 from t table, 0.00 is smaller than alpha 0.05. Alpha 0.05. And the significance value of the concurrent test. The results of purchasing decisions and the R2 test showed an effect of 83.8%. The results showed that design, product quality and branding had a significant influence.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and understand the criminal liability for copyright infringement perpetrators in the form of pirated VCD/DVDs in Batam City and the police in taking action against copyright infringement committed by business actors. The development of science and technology has changed the times so that it has an impact on the behavior of every human being in the business world, where currently many other people's works are recognized as their own of course, this is very contrary to the rules of positive law that apply in Indonesia. Copyright infringement in the trade sector can be exemplified such as counterfeiting, copying and, piracy that many business actors (producers) have. Criminal a liability to determine a criminal act against whether or not a perpetrator of the act against a criminal act that has been committed. In criminal liability there is a principle, namely not being punished if there is no mistake (geen straf zonder schuId; Actus non facit reum nisi mens sir rea). It can be interpreted that a person can be punished, then that person has not only committed a crime but also there is no mistake in his actions and also a perpetrator of the criminal act has fulfilled the ability to take responsibility.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to determine the effect of brand image and product quality onfrozen food purchasing decisions in Batam City. Data were obtained through questionnairesdistributed to people who shopped at Pasar Mitra Raya Batam City. The method used isdescriptive statistical analysis using SPSS version 26 software program. The yield of the ttest (partial) that brand image has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisionswith t count > t table with a significance < 0.05, namely 11, 038 > 1,976 and a significant of0.000 <0.05, product quality has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisionswith t count 5.038 > t table 1.976 where sig. 0.000 < 0.05. This is evidenced from the yieldof the F test where F count > F table with a significance of < 0.05, namely 255,073 > F table2.665 and sig 0.000 < 0.05 which states that brand image and product quality have a positiveand significant impact simultaneously on purchasing decisions. frozen food in Batam city.

Abstract

The tourism industry will continue to develop according to the times that trigger hotel industry players to continue and to develop the quality of their business starting from the quality of services and facilities provided which are expected to make consumers feel satisfied with the services offered at the hotel. The population taken in this study were 5,768 visitors at Hans Inn. Furthermore,for the sampling is used accidental sampling with 258 respondents by using Isaac and Newton formulas and the data collected by using questionnaire. The data is anylzed with using multiple linear regression with program SPSS Version 25. The results in this study can be seen through the t test, for service quality 6,150 and 3,620 exceeds the t table which affects customer satisfaction. Also, the results of f test is 180.861 exceeds the f table, it means that the quality of service and facilities simultaneously affects customer satisfaction at Hans Inn Batam.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of cash flow and accounting profit on stock returns of manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The variables studied in this study are operating cash flow, investment cash flow, funding cash flow and accounting profit as independent variables, while stock returns as the dependent variable. In this study, the methods used for data analysis were descriptive statistical tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis and hypothesis testing by processing the SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solutions) version 26 program. The data used in this study were secondary data. namely the company's annual financial statements used in the research sample. The research sample is 6 pharmaceutical sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2016-2020 period which were taken using the purposive sampling method. The results of this study based on the T-test showed that operating cash flow had an effect on stock returns with a t-count value of -2.166 > 2.056 (t-table) and a significance level of 0.040 <0.05, investment cash flow had no effect on stock returns with a value of t-count is 0.169 > 2.056 (t-table) and a significance level of 0.867 > 0.05, funding cash flow has an effect on stock returns with a t-count value of -3.912 > 2.056 (t-table) and a significance level of 0.001 < 0, 05 and accounting earnings have an effect on stock returns with a t-count value of 5.234 > 2.056 (t-table) and a significance level of 0.000 <0.05. Based on the results of the F test, the results are 12.299 (F-count) > 2.759 (F-table) and a significance value of 0.000 <0.005 so that operating cash flow, investment cash flow, funding cash flow, and accounting profit significantly affect return share.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the efficiency of BPR profitability in the city of Batam which was tested using the Non Performing Loan and Loan Deposit Ratio variables. profitability in this study using ROA. The population of this study includes BPR in Batam city and 28 BPR selected as a sample of the city studied according to the criteria by using rational sampling technique. Data analysis in this study includes multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of the ad dets test, it has a significant negative effect on profitability according to the test showing a significant value of 0.000 t Tale 1.98137. The loan deposit ratio has no significant effect on profitability on the results of asis if the test shows a significant value of 0.23 > 0.05 and the account is 1.175 or higher; The story of 1.98137. Based on the test results indicate that the NPL and LDR simultaneously have a significant effect on profitability with a significance value of 0.000 and 0.05.

Abstract

The task of a doctor is faced with various situations that are full of risks, not infrequentlymistakes or omissions as well as various mistakes that can no longer be avoided. notinfrequently it can also be interpreted by various parties who are outside the medicalprofession, it is often also referred to as medical malpractice. Regarding what was previouslyconsidered to have a very close relationship in conditions to the profession in the medicalfield, in this very advanced and up-to-date period, various reports are published in the massmedia, namely through electronic channels and print media, which state that there are stillmany problems in practice or malpractice from the doctors as the perpetrators. Related tothe role of the legal apparatus with the development of a capable legal apparatus and it ishoped that the creation of an apparatus with qualifications of ability in the field of protectingthe community and furthermore is expected to be able to provide support for nationaldevelopment. The development of the legal apparatus is carried out through thedevelopment of the legal profession as well as stabilization which includes all organizationsand legal institutions as a whole so that it can be seen that the legal apparatus has beenable to carry out all duties as well as obligations in this case related to / concerningcounseling then the application and enforcement in terms of legal services, especiallyincluding a criminal act of obscenity committed by a doctor.

Abstract

In the era of development and judging from the current conditions, technology users, especially in the field of internet technology, are growing very rapidly. The rapid development of the internet makes people flock to use the internet, especially the online shopping system. The existence of an online shopping system makes people make online stores a new shopping center. Therefore, this study wants to examine and analyze the problems of trust, ease and quality of information on the online purchasing decisions of Acer laptops by students in Batam City. The technique used in this research is purposive sampling with a sample size of 96 respondents. The measuring instrument used is a 5-point Likert scale. The method of data analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression analysis. Test the quality of the data using the validity test and reliability test. Classical assumption test using normality test, multicollinearity test and heteroscedasticity test and influence test using multiple linear regression analysis and coefficient of determination analysis (R2), and hypothesis testing using t test and f test with the help of SPSS 24 statistical software. trust, ease and quality of information have a significant positive effect on purchasing decisions from t count > t table and significant value < 0.05 and trust, ease and quality of information together choose a significant positive effect on purchasing decisions from f count > f table and value significant < 0.05.
