Abstract

The result of research showed that the implementation of nationality character reinforcement in SMA Islam (Islamic Senior High School) Al-Azhar 7  Sukoharjo included: 1) Civic education, Al-Qur?an Education, Sociology and History subjects addressing the nationality character, 2) the presence of Javanese language subject, the part of language variety in Indonesia, 3) boy scout activities, 4) OSIS (Internal School Student Organization) activities, 5) flag ceremony, and 6) celebration of RI?s independence day. The constraints the educator faced in building the nationality character reinforcement included: 1) the educator always play game online leading to laziness in learning, 2) SMA Islam Al-Azhar 7 Sukoharjo should attend two curriculums: one from Al-Azhar foundation and one from Sukoharjo Regency?s Education and Culture Service; thus educator found difficulty in integrating both curriculums, 3) However the nasionalism character is the part of the religion nasionalism, sometime the student didn?t care about the character it self. The nationalism attitude demonstrated by the educators of SMA Islam Al-Azhar 7 Sukoharjo, included: 1) participating actively in flag ceremony implementation, 2) participating actively in boy scout activities, 3) speaking good and correct Indonesian, 4) expressing opinion when Indonesia is in conflict with other states, 5) participating in heroic and independence days celebration, 6) being proud of diversity existing in Indonesia, 7) loving nationality and heroic songs, 8) being care of fellow human beings, and 9) being care of environment.

Abstract

Indonesia merupakan negara yang memiliki keberagaman suku, budaya, agama dan lain sebagainya, sehingga tidak dipungkiri banyak negara yang memuji keindahan tersebut, namun kelebihan tersbut bisa menjadi bencana bagi bangsa ini karena rawan konflik yang bisa mengakibatkan disintegrasi nasional. Terorisme merupakan tindakan radikal yang dapat mengancam keberagaman di Indonesia, selain itu tindakan tersebut juga mencemarkan nama baik agama Islam karena menggunakan dalih agama Islam (jihad). Padahal agama Islam adalah rahmatan lil alamin yang menolak kekerasan dan menjunjung tinggi persatuan. Mirisnya lagi para pelaku sebagian besar dilakukan oleh pemuda, yang notabane-nya generasi penerus bangsa. Di sisi lain, terorisme juga mengancam eksistensi Pancasila dan Bhineka Tunggal Ika, karena para pelaku mengencam dan menolak dasar negara dan semboyan tersebut. Fenomena ini harus segera ditindaklanjuti agar tidak menjadi suatu budaya merambah ke generasi pemuda mendatang. Pendidikan multikultural menjadi salah satu solusi yang terbaik untuk menaggulangi tindakan tersebut, menggingat Indonesia adalah negara yang majemuk. Agar pendidikan multikultural bisa berjalan dengan efektif, tidak hanya diimplementasikan di jalur pendidikan formal (sekolah) saja, namun juga harus diimplementasikan di jalur pendidikan nonformal (keluarga), karena keluarga menjadi pondasi dalam membentuk karakter anak didik

Abstract

Abstract: The strategic plan of the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia regarding the profile of Pancasila students needs to be realized by various parties on a macro and micro scale, including the role of a counselor in schools as an important part in achieving these goals. This article analyzes the role of counselors in shaping the profile of Pancasila students and their implications for students' personal resilience by using the literature study method. Counselors in schools have tasks that are closely related to the mission of character education which implies that students have the values ​​of personal resilience, namely self-confidence and adhering to principles, being independent and free from a sense of responsibility. This is in accordance with the six character profiles of Pancasila students that were formed, namely faith, fear of God Almighty and noble character; global diversity; worked together; independent; critical reasoning; and creative. In addition, the synergy of all parties is needed to anticipate the impact of non-constructive implementation for the counselor profession.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu 1) untuk mengetahui peran guru dalam memberikan bimbingan konseling kepada siswa dalam rangka menumbuhkan karakter sosial melalui pembelajaran PPKn di era society 5.0, dan 2) untuk mengetahui problematika guru dalam memberikan bimbingan konseling kepada siswa dalam menumbuhkan karakter sosial siswa melalui pembelajaran PPKn serta implikasinya terhadap karakter sosial siswa di era society 5.0. PPKn merupakan pembelajaran yang berusaha untuk membentuk karakter siswa khususnya karakter sosial, sehingga tidak dipungkiri peran seorang guru yang mengampu pembelajaran tersebut menjadi ujung tombak pembangunan karakter di Indonesia. Metode penelitian di dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan studi pustaka dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peran guru yang mengampu PPKn di era society 5.0 melalui metode bimbingan konseling  siswa untuk membentuk karakter sosial kurang maksimal, karena masih banyak guru yang belum memiliki kompetensi pedagogik khususnya penggunaan media pembelajaran ketika daring atau pembelajaran jarak jauh. Hal tersebut berimplikasi pada krisisnya karakter sosial pada siswa, yang lebih mementingkan kepentingan pribadi dari pada kepentingan sosial atau umum sehingga banyak siswa melakukan tindakan kriminal. Fenomena tersebut bias terjadi karena pembelajaran PPKn monoton dan membuat siswa mengalami kebosanan, selain itu minat belajar siswa juga menjadi berkurang. Lemahnya kompetensi pedagogik guru khususnya dalam memanfaatkan media pembelajaran yang mengampu PPKn ternyata berimplikasi pada krisisnya karakter sosial pada siswa.Teacher Problems in Providing Student Counseling Guidance to Grow Social Character Through Civics Learning in the Era of Society 5.0. The aims of this study are 1) to determine the teacher's role in providing counseling guidance to students in order to foster social character through PPKn learning in the era of society 5.0, and 2) to find out the problems of teachers in providing counseling guidance to students in growing students' social character through PPKn learning. and its implications for the social character of students in the era of society 5.0. PPKn is a learning that seeks to shape the character of students, especially social characters, so it is undeniable that the role of a teacher who oversees learning is the spearhead of character development in Indonesia. The research method in this study uses a qualitative approach and descriptive method. Data collection techniques using literature study and observation. The results of the study show that the role of teachers who support PPKn in the era of society 5.0 through student counseling methods to form social character is less than optimal, because there are still many teachers who do not have pedagogic competence, especially the use of online learning media or distance learning. This has implications for the crisis of social character in students, who are more concerned with personal interests than social or public interests so that many students commit criminal acts. This phenomenon can occur because PPKn learning is monotonous and makes students feel bored, besides that students' interest in learning also decreases. Weak pedagogic competence of teachers, especially in utilizing learning media that supports PPKn, turns out to have implications for the crisis of social character in students

Abstract

Pendidikan karakter merupakan usaha untuk membangun masyarakat di Indonesia khususnya pemuda, karena pemuda adalah pemimpin bangsa Indonesia di masa yang akan datang. Apabila ingin masa depan Indonesia cerah, maka bangun pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan karakter pemuda di era sekarang. Nasionalisme adalah karkater yang wajib dimiliki oleh setiap masyarakat Indonesia, karena karakter tersebut dapat menyatukan bangsa Indonesia sehingga mampu merdeka pada tahun 1945. Sekolah berbasis agama Islam merupakan pendidikan formal yang membangun peserta didik untuk menjadi individu yang taat kepada agama Islam, di sisi lain sekolah tersebut juga berusaha untuk menanamkan karakter nasionalisme kepada peserta didiknya. Implementasi pembangunan karakter di sekolah berbasis agama Islam sungguh sangat efektif, karena salah satunya melalui mata pelajaran pendidikan Al-Qur’an. Pendidikan karakter yang diimplementasikan di sekolah berbasis agama Islam menggunakan strategi agar peserta didik mampu memiliki karakter nasionalisme. Awalnya peserta didik dikenalkan dengan karakter yang berdasarkan ajaran nabi Muhammad SAW dan kepribadian bangsa Indonesia khususnya karakter nasionalisme dan juga dikenalkan tentang karakter buruk, selanjutnya peserta didik dituntut untuk mencintai karakter-karakter yang baik tersebut khususnya karakter nasionalisme. Tahap selanjutnya peserta didik dituntut untuk mengaplikasikan karakter-karakter tersebut khususnya karakter nasionalisme dengan selalu hidup rukun sesama teman, mengikuti upacara bendera dan lain sebagainya. Tahap terakhir peserta didik dituntut untuk membiasakan tingkah laku cinta terhadap tanah air di lingkungan sekolah maupun di lingkungan keluarga dan masyarakat.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui Peran dan kendala Guru Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan dalam penguatan literasi digital siswa di SMA Negeri 5 Surakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi dan studi dokumen, sedangkan teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan ialah purposive sampling. Analisis data yang digunakan di dalam penelitian ini ialah analisis data interaktif. Hasil penelitian menujukan bahwa peran guru Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan dalam penguatan literasi digital dilakukan melalui perannya sebagai fasilitator, motivator dan evaluator pembelajaran, sehingga dapat meningkatkan literasi digital pada siswa. Kendala guru Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan dalam penguatan literasi digital siswa yaitu terbatasnya dana untuk mendukung terpenuhinya fasilitas TIK dan keterbatasan waktu di dalam proses pembelajaran, mengingat banyaknya tuntutan materi yang haru disampaikan atau diaajarkan kepada siswa sehingga hal tersebut juga menjadi kendala siswa di dalam mempelajari secara mendalam materi-materi tersebut. Peran guru di SMA Negeri 5 Surakarta pada dasarnya dapat meningkatkan literasi digital siswa, meskipun tidak signifikan, karena siswa lebih kritis atau tidak mudah percaya dengan berita yang diperoleh dari media sosial.   Abstract This study aims to determine the role and constraints of Pancasila and Civic Education teachers in strengthening students' digital literacy at SMA Negeri 5 Surakarta. This study uses a qualitative approach and a descriptive method. Data collection techniques used interviews, observations, and document studies, while purposive sampling was used. The data analysis used in this research is interactive. The results of the study indicate that the role of Pancasila and Civic Education teachers in strengthening digital literacy is carried out through their role as facilitators, motivators, and learning evaluators, to increase digital literacy in students. The constraints of Pancasila and Civic Education teachers in strengthening students' digital literacy are limited funds to support the fulfillment of ICT facilities and limited time in the learning process, considering the many demands for material that must be conveyed or taught to students so that this is also an obstacle for students in studying in depth. these materials. The role of teachers at SMA Negeri 5 Surakarta can improve students' digital literacy, although not significantly because students are more critical or do not easily believe news obtained from social media.

Abstract

The holding of elections in Indonesia in 2019 is indicated to be tainted by money politics. Many actors can play a role in preventing money politics, including the Election Supervisory Board (Bawaslu), the Honorary Board of Election Organizers (DKPP), formal and non-formal educational institutions, as well as non-governmental organizations (NGOs), including Karang Taruna. This study aims to determine the role and constraints of Karya Muda cadets in preventing money politics and SARA issues in the 2024 election. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method, and the location of the research is Karang Taruna Karya Muda in Kedungjambal Village, Tawangsari District, Sukoharjo Regency. Data collection techniques include in-depth interviews, observations, and document studies. The data analysis technique used is interactive data analysis. The results showed Karya Muda's role in anticipating money politics and SARA issues to succeed in the 2024 elections through several activities, namely holding regular meetings with community leaders, Halal Bi Halal activities, 3) socialization with the neighbourhood community, commemorating Indonesian Independence Day, recitation, and sports. The obstacles experienced by Karya Muda are that there are still people doing money politics, there is intervention from village officials to choose one of the leadership candidates, and there are still some Karya Muda members who are influenced by money politics.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the meaning of local wisdom as the nation's personality, the problems of PPKn teachers in maintaining local wisdom, and the role of PPKn teachers in maintaining local wisdom in the digital era. This study uses a qualitative approach to the literature method. The data collection technique uses documentation and the analysis used is content analysis. The results of the study show that local wisdom that develops in Indonesia is a national personality that contains religious values, humanism, nationalism, democracy, and justice. The role of PPKn learning teachers is spearhead to and educate students to be able to maintain and care for the values of local wisdom, but teachers currently have a problem that is not yet able to adapt to the digital era so in the learning process they have not been able to take advantage of varied learning methods and learning media. digitally based. To anticipate this, teachers must be able to utilize digital technology and be able to act as facilitators, managers, learning resources, motivators, inspirations, mentors, and evaluators.

Abstract

West Kalimantan Province is one of the locations where ethnic and religious disputes frequently occur, as the rise of the SARA issue in recent elections has exacerbated the situation. The goal of this research is to determine the role of political education, the phenomenon of political education in West Kalimantan Province, strategies for anticipating the SARA issue in West Kalimantan Province elections, and the implications for harmony among differences in West Kalimantan Province. Literature was used as the qualitative strategy and research type. Data gathering strategies include documentation studies, as well as data analysis via content analysis.Assume the people of West Kalimantan have political literacy. In that situation, they should expect ethnic and religious disputes to have an impact on national and state peace. They will increase the quality of West Kalimantan's secret, open, honest, and fair elections. The inhabitants of West Kalimantan aspire to a pleasant and harmonious living free of SARA concerns and background distinctions. Keywords: Racial Politics; Elections; Political Education

Abstract

This study aims to analyze strategies for anticipating identity politics in general elections, the role and objectives of political education, as well as the implications of political education for social harmony. This study uses a qualitative approach with a library research type of research. The results of the study show that the strategy that can be used to anticipate identity politics in general elections is through political education. Political education has a role in forming a politically literate society. The aim of political education is to provide knowledge about politics to the public so that they are able to participate actively in the political system. Political education has implications for social harmony because it is carried out by upholding human values without discrimination
