Abstract

The implementation of the Independent Curriculum is one of the ways implemented by the government to improve the quality of education in Indonesia, through the implementation of the Independent Curriculum teachers are expected to be able to improve student learning outcomes on the topic of learning mathematics. Until now the implementation of the Independent Curriculum has not been known to what extent the ability of students in grade IV SD to learn mathematics. The formulation of the research problem is "How is the implementation of the independent learning curriculum in the process of learning mathematics at SD Negeri 57 Banda Aceh?" The purpose of this study was to identify and obtain information about the implementation of the independent learning curriculum in mathematics at SD Negeri 57 Banda Aceh, and to further investigate student learning outcomes when learning mathematics with the application of the independent learning curriculum at SD Negeri 57 Banda Aceh. Research with a qualitative approach, for this type of research is descriptive. The research was conducted at SD Negeri 57 Banda Aceh, Syiah Kuala District, Banda Aceh City. The subject of this study was the fourth grade teacher and all fourth grade students at SD Negeri 57 Banda Aceh totaling 27 students. Data was collected by means of interviews and documentation. By choosing the Miles and Huberman model, in which data analysis consists of three streams of activities that occur simultaneously, namely: data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. From the results of interviews and documentation, it shows that the implementation of the Independent Curriculum has been running in accordance with school policies but there is still a need for teacher training on the PJBL model and the Minimum Competency Assessment (AKM), and student learning outcomes in mathematics learning material are in the good category, meaning that they have not shown significant difference with the implementation of the previous curriculum. The results obtained from interviews and documentation of fourth grade students at SD Negeri 57 Banda Aceh with the implementation of the independent curriculum in mathematics are in the good category.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of the talking chips model to increase learning motivation in material properties of objects. The method used was Classroom Action Research (CAR). This research was conducted at SD Negeri 27 Banda Aceh with 29 students in class V B as research subjects. Data collection used observation sheets, learning achievement tests and motivational questionnaires. The results of the study in cycle I the average score obtained from student activity was 61.53% with an adequate percentage, and cycle II obtained 86.53% with a very good percentage. The average score obtained from learning outcomes in cycle I was 58.06% with classical mastery of 48.27% and cycle II obtained an average score of 87.58% with a classical value of 86.20%. While the results of learning motivation obtained in cycle I was 58.06% with moderate criteria, and in cycle II the acquisition of student motivation increased to 82.72% with very high criteria. By looking at these results, it can be concluded that the use of the talking chips model can increase students' learning motivation on the material properties of objects in class V SDN 27 Banda Aceh.

Abstract

The aim is to determine the significant effect of using the scramble learning model on material condenses and sublimes on the learning outcomes of students in class V SD Negeri 27 Banda Aceh. The method taken is quantitative with the type Pre Experimental Design. The place was held at SDN 27 Banda Aceh. The sample taken by all students of class Va was 32 students. Data collection techniques were taken in the form of pretest and posttest tests, while data analysis techniques used SPSS Statistics 24 and hypothesis testing by paired t-test. The results of testing the hypothesis with the paired t-test obtained a sig (1-tailed) value of 0.000 0.05. So the decision-making criteria are Ha accepted and Ho rejected. So that it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of using the scramble model on student learning outcomes in condensing and sublimating material.

Abstract

The aim of the research is to find out the application of the problem-based learning model to the critical thinking skills of grade VI SD 51 Banda Aceh students and what are the teacher's obstacles in applying the PBL model. This study used a qualitative approach with participatory observation data collection techniques and unstructured interviews. data analysis techniques through data collection, data reduction, data display, and verification. The results obtained by 4 out of 5 groups were at a very high level on the criteria for critical thinking ability, the remaining 1 group was at a high level on the criteria for students' critical thinking ability, besides that the application of the problem based learning (PBL) model to students' critical thinking skills in social studies learning was running smoothly. smoothly and optimally also the learning objectives are achieved. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the learning creativity of students in Civics learning in Class V SDN 70 Banda Aceh by using leaflet media. The approach in research is qualitative and descriptive research type. The subjects studied were 32 students of class V SD Negeri 70 Banda Aceh with data collection techniques namely observation and interviews. This research has results that can be stated that of the 7 indicators of learning creativity, almost all students in the class have implemented these indicators in learning, starting from the activities of students often asking questions during the learning process, students try to find references from other sources, for example from theme books, during learning they always ask questions according to the material being discussed at the time, they are active in giving opinions during discussions with the teacher or with their group mates, they are confident and willing to express opinions without being rewarded, they are confident in their opinions each, they are also enthusiastic and able to interact and do tasks well with their group mates. However, there is one indicator that they have not implemented properly, namely being able to submit thoughts and ideas that are different from other people, which is indicated when they are presenting the results of their group work, they have not been able to account for the ideas they put forward during the presentation.

Abstract

An inclusive school is a school that accepts students with the limitations of a student and normal students in the same school environment. Therefore the teacher will have an additional role in the classroom where in inclusive schools mix children with special needs with regular children in one class. Researchers are trying to reveal part of the teacher's role in SD N 53 Kota Banda Aceh and whether this inclusive school is running effectively. This study uses a qualitative approach and descriptive research type. The research subjects were 4 teachers and one class observation. Data collection techniques using observation and interviews. Data were analyzed by data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the teacher's roles have been fulfilled and carried out properly in accordance with the following 9 indicators of the teacher's role: (1) educator, (2) teacher, (3) facilitator, (4) mentor, (5) servant, ( 6) Designers, (7) Managers, (8) Innovators, and (9) Assessors. Then this inclusive school is considered to have been running effectively based on the description of the following indicators of learning effectiveness: (1) organizing and planning learning; (2) good communication; (3) mastery and enthusiasm for learning materials; (4) flexibility in approach; (5) giving a fair value; (6) good participant learning outcomes.

Abstract

AbstractThe use of the Picture and Picture learning model can make students actively participate in learning because it uses pictures especially for low grade students. The formulation of the problem is how are the activities of students and teachers during the use of the Picture and Picture learning model and whether using the picture and picture learning model can improve student learning outcomes in class II SD Negeri 1 Jeumpet. The purpose of this study was to find out the activities of students and teachers during the use of the Picture and Picture learning model and to find out the increase in student learning outcomes by using the Picture and Picture learning model in class II SD Negeri 1 Jeumpet. The research is classroom action research (PTK) which is carried out in three cycles. The research was conducted at SD Negeri 1 Jeumpet, Aceh Besar district. The subject is students of class II SD Negeri 1 Jeumpet. Data collection techniques by taking observation sheets of student and teacher activities as well as test sheets. Data analysis techniques by taking the percentage formula and the average. The results of data analysis prove an increase. It is known by (1) the average value of student activity in cycle I was 3.33 in the enough category, cycle II increased by 4.33 in the good category, cycle III increased by 4.83 very good criteria. (2) The average value of teacher activity in cycle I was 3.4 categories sufficient, cycle II increased 4.33 categories good, cycle III greatly increased to 5 categories very good. (3) Student learning outcomes as a percentage of classical completeness in cycle I 42.10% cycle II becomes 73.68% and cycle III becomes 89.47%. It was concluded that the use of the Picture and Picture learning model can improve the learning activities of students and teachers as well as the learning outcomes of students in class II SD Negeri 1 Jeumpet Aceh Besar.

Abstract

The aim of the research was to describe the teacher's way of building the social attitudes of SD Negeri 36 Banda Aceh students. The research used a qualitative approach and the type is descriptive. 6 homeroom teachers at SD Negeri 36 Banda Aceh were considered as research subjects. Then the data in this study were collected through observation and interviews. The data is then analyzed using data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. From the results of the study it was found that social attitudes could be developed by SD Negeri 36 Banda Aceh teachers including honest, disciplined, responsible, polite, caring and confident attitudes. The developed social attitude has been almost evenly distributed with the pattern of application and exemplification. The teacher's strategy in taking action to build students' social attitudes is through the application of exemplary strategies, group work, habituation of religious values and giving rewards. From the results of the study it can be concluded that the strategies used by the teacher in shaping the social attitudes of SD Negeri 36 Banda Aceh students are exemplary, group work, habituation of religious values and determination of consequences. The strategy used is able to support students to build social attitudes, especially honest, disciplined, responsible, polite, caring and confident attitudes.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the problem of how to apply the singing method to increase students' learning motivation in science subject class 5 theme 6 heat and its transfer at SD N 20 Banda Aceh. Efforts were made to solve the problem of students' lack of learning motivation by using the singing method. The approach taken for this research is qualitative with descriptive research type. Class V SD Negeri 20 Banda Aceh totaling 26 people as subjects in this research with data collection techniques in the form of questionnaires. The results of the study obtained that the average score of the questionnaire achieved by students was 3.53, then after the singing method was applied, the average value achieved was categorized as high. It was then the authors concluded that the application of the singing method was able to support increasing student learning motivation in science subjects grade 5 theme 6 heat and its transfer to SD N 20 Banda Aceh was able to increase student learning motivation at SD N 20 Banda Aceh.
