Abstract

Masalah emesis gravidarum menjadi sebuah fenomena pada ibu hamil khususnya pada usia kehamilan muda.. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh edukasi diet emesis dengan media booklet terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan pada ibu hamil KEK diwilayah kerja puskesmas Poasia. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah pra eksperimental. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah ibu hamil KEK sebanyak 48 Ibu Hamil. Sampel dalam penelitian ini 32 dengan menggunakan Teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Pengetahuan ibu hamil KEK tentang Diet emesis sebelum diberikan intervensi masih kurang (skor rata-rata =55,16), sedangkan pengetahuan setelah diberikan intervensi menjadi baik (skor rata-rata =68,13). Setelah diberikan edukasi diet emesis dengan media booklet, terdapat pengaruh terhadap pemberian edukasi diet emesis dengan media booklet terhadap pengetahuan ibu hamil KEK (nilai p=0,000/p<0,05). Diharapkan kepada ibu hamil agar selalu mencari informasi tentang komplikasi kehamilan khususnya emesis gravidarum, serta dapat menyikapi dengan baik segala komplikasi yang terjadi pada kehamilan.

Abstract

Hypertension is when the pressure in blood vessels increases above 120/80 mmHg. Blood pressure goal is less than 130/80 mmHg, and when the pressure is 140/90 mmHg or higher, it called as hypertension. One of non-pharmacology therapies used to lower high blood pressure is giving ambon banana cake to the patients with hypertension at Soropia health centre, Soropia district, Konawe. This is a quantitative study used quasi-experiment of pre test and post test with control group design. The observation was conducted twice-before and after treatment. Population of the study were 19 people who suffered hypertension at Soropia health centre, Soropia district, Konawe. 16 people were chosen by using Slovin formula to obtain representative samples. Then, 16 people were divided into 2 groups (8 People were in control group and others were in intervention group). Result of Wilcoxon test concluded that there’s an effect of non-pharmacology therapy by giving Ambon banana cake on blood pressure changes of patients with hypertension

Abstract

Specialized food services cater to specialized training centers or institutions, such as sports training centers. ASIFA is a sports training center with an average age of 13 - 18 years old that provides dormitories and organizes food with 1 day feeding 3 times. Food presentation is done in a buffet so that students can choose and take according to taste. Preliminary studies conducted at ASIFA obtained from the results of interviews with 30 students, it was found that students still consumed food according to their habits and preferences so that food intake did not meet balanced nutrition. This study aims to determine the effect of balanced nutrition education on the level of knowledge and attitude towards choosing the type of food of students. Pre-experimental research with a one group pre-post test design was conducted. The sampling used was purposive sampling as many as students who were in the ASIFA Ball School dormitory, Malang City. The results of the paired sample t-test statistical test at the 95% confidence level, obtained a Sig value. (2-tailed) is 0.000 (<0.05). The results of the Wilcoxon statistical test, obtained a Z value of -3.677 and a Sig value. (2-tailed) 0.000 (<0.05). The results showed that there was an effect of balanced nutrition education on the level of knowledge and attitude towards choosing the type of food for students at the ASIFA (Aji Santoso International Football Academy) soccer school in Malang City.

Abstract

Stunting is a major nutritional problem in Indonesia that can determine the quality of resources. Stunting children are susceptible to disease, have difficulty in physical and cognitive development, and are at risk of developing degenerative diseases as adults. The prevalence of stunting in 2021 was 0.95%, 2022 was 1.4% and 2023 was 1.69%. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between macro nutrient intake to the nutritional status of Stunting Toddlers in the Coastal Area of ​​Kendari City. This type of research is quantitative, Cross Sectional Study design. The population in this study were all toddlers in the working area of ​​the Mata, Benu-Benua and Abeli ​​Health Centers for the period January 2024, totaling 4,272 people and the sample in this study was part of the toddlers in the period January 2024 in the working area of ​​the Mata, Benu-Benua and Abeli ​​Health Centers, totaling 98 people. The sampling technique used proportional stratified random sampling. Data analysis used the chi-square test. The results of the chi-square test at a 95% confidence level, obtained p value of 0.000 for carbohydrate, protein, and fat intake. The conclusion of this study is that there is a relationship between macronutrient intake (KH, Protein and Fat) with the incidence of stunting in toddlers in the coastal areas of Kendari City

Abstract

Abstrak Hasil survei status gizi Indonesia (SSGI), menunjukkan kejadian stunting pada tahun 2021 mencapai 24,4% , tahun 2022 menjadi 21,6%. Kemudian target pada tahun 2023 yaitu diharapkan menurun menjadi 17,8% sedangkan target RPJMN pada tahu 2024 yaitu 14%. Berdasarkan hasil SSGI tahun 2022 secara nasional, prevalensi stunting di Sulawesi Tenggara mencapai 27,7%. Sedangkan untuk tingkat Provinsi Sulawesi Tenggara kejadian stunting untuk wilayah Kota Kendari mencapai 19,5%.Upaya untuk mencapai penurunan stunting hingga 14% pada tahun 2024 menggambarkan agar terjadi penurunan 3,8% selama 2 tahun berturut-turut. Kementerian Kesehatan melakukan intervensi spesifik melalui 2 cara utama yakni intervensi gizi pada ibu sebelum dan saat hamil, serta intervensi pada anak usia 6 sampai 2 tahun. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis hubungan karakteristik ibu dengan kejadian stunting pada anak balita di Kota Kendari. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan desain deskriptif analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Sampel adalah ibu yang memiliki anak balita sebanyak 35 orang. Penetapan sampel dilakukan secara accidental sampling. Data diperoleh menggunakan kuesioner dan observasi. Analisis data secara univariate dan bivariat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor usia ibu (p value 0,015) dan tingkat pendidikan (p value 0,000) berhubungan dengan kejadian stunting pada balita sedangkan pekerjaan (p value 0,635) tidak berhubungan dengan kejadian stunting pada balita.Simpulan penelitian bahwa faktor umur ibu dan tingkat pendidikan ibu berhubungan secara signifikan terhadap kejadian stunting pada anak balita. Akhirnya diharapkan bagi Dinas terkait agar dapat meningkatkan upaya promotif dan menjadikan masukan dalam rangka menyusun rencana sosialisasi pencegahan stunting pada anak balita. . The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between maternal characteristics and the incidence of stunting in toddlers in Kendari City. This type of research is qualitative with a descriptive analytical design with a cross-sectional approach. The sample was 35 mothers with toddlers. The sample was determined by accidental sampling. Data were obtained using questionnaires and observations. Data analysis was done using univariate and bivariate methods. The results showed that maternal age (p value 0.015) and education level (p value 0.000) were related to the incidence of stunting in toddlers, while occupation (p value 0.635) was not related to the incidence of stunting in toddlers. The conclusion of the study is that maternal age and maternal education are significantly related to the incidence of stunting in toddlers. Finally, it is hoped that the relevant agencies can increase promotive efforts and use input in order to prepare a socialization plan for preventing stunting in toddlers.

Abstract

Agnes Sri Wulandari, Acceptability of Biscuits with Modification of Jackfruit Seed Flour, Red Bean Flour and Banana Flour and Its Contribution to Iron Adequacy of Adolescents at SMAN 3 Kendari, Siti Hadrayanti Ananda, Ellyani Abadi Jackfruit seed flour, kidney bean flour and banana flour can be processed into various types of products that can contribute nutrients such as iron in adolescents who are in the growth period. One such product is biscuits. The purpose of this study is to determine acceptability based on organoleptic properties which include color, taste, aroma and texture which are tested with a questionnaire with hedonic assessment and its contribution to the iron adequacy of adolescents in SMAN 3 Kendari.This study is a type of descriptive research with a quantitative approach method in making biscuits with modifications of jackfruit seed flour, red bean flour and banana flour using a complete random design (RAL) with 3 treatments (70:40:40, 40:70:40, 40:40:70). Research on the acceptability test of biscuits with flour modification was carried out at SMAN 3 Kendari, while research on the nutritional content of biscuits was carried out at the Food and Drug Agency (BPOM) of Kendari City.The results of the study showed that based on the organoleptic results of the color, taste and texture of the most preferred biscuits were biscuits with A3 treatment (40:40:70) and the preferred aroma was biscuits with A1 treatment (70:40:70). The addition of jackfruit seed flour, red bean flour and banana flour in making biscuits has an iron content of 24,0 milligrams per 100 grams of biscuits. And donate 93,3% of the total daily iron needs of 16-17-year-old adolescents.Biscuits are recommanded to consumers to make these biscuits as an alternative substitute for snacks to meet the iron requirements of adolescents.further research is also needed into the manufacture of jackfruit seed flour, red been flour and banana flour as well as the shelf life of each flour. Abstract

Food is a basic need for every human being to be able to carry out physiological functions. Safe food is food that is free from microbes, chemicals and dangerous substances which, if intentionally or accidentally consumed by humans, will not cause health problems. School children are the forerunners of the nation's next generation. At this age, children have lots of busy activities, causing them to need a healthy physical condition. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of food safety education on knowledge of snack choices in class V children at SDN 1 Landono. The type of research used is pre-experimental design research. This research was conducted on one group, namely the experimental group that received treatment. The population in this study were all students from classes VA and VB, totaling 36 people, the sample was 33 people. Research results: Knowledge of snack selection among fifth grade elementary school children at SDN 1 Landono before being given education had an average score of 12.21. Knowledge of snack selection among fifth grade elementary school children at SDN 1 Landono after being given education had an average score of 13.39. There is an influence of food safety education on knowledge of snack choices in fifth grade elementary school students at SDN 1 Landono with p value = 0.000. Suggestion: For the SDN 1 Landono School, it is hoped that this research can provide input so that the school can continue to provide education about choosing healthy snacks for its students. For future researchers, it is hoped that this research can serve as input and reference material for future researchers.

Abstract

A major dietary issue that can impact a child's growth and development before the age of five is stunting. Appetite is one of the elements that affects the prevalence of stunting. The purpose of this study is to examine the connection between stunting rates in the Puskesmas Ahuhu working region and the appetite of children under five. This study employed a cross-sectional methodology and a descriptive correlational design. Seventy-two stunted toddlers, ages six to fifty-nine months, made up the research population. Purposive sampling was the method of sampling that was employed. Questionnaires and observation were used to gather data, which were subsequently subjected to univariate and bivariate analysis. The majority of toddlers with stunting had weak appetites, according to the research. Statistical analysis shows that there is a significant relationship between appetite and the incidence of stunting, where a good appetite contributes to reducing the risk of stunting. There is a significant relationship between appetite in children under five and the incidence of stunting. It is recommended that parents pay more attention to their children's diet and increase their appetite by providing nutritious and attractive food

Abstract

The causes of malnutrition are divided into two, namely direct and indirect causes, namely children's food, an unbalanced diet in terms of nutritional content, and infectious diseases that children may suffer from. Indirect causes include food security in the family, childcare patterns and health services and environmental health. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between knowledge, attitudes, and maternal education towards the fulfillment of nutrition for toddlers aged 3-5 years in Lapulu Village. The type of research used is quantitative with a cross-sectional study design involving a sample of 31 people. The results of the study indicate that there is a relationship between Mother's Knowledge towards Fulfillment of Nutrition for Toddlers Aged 3-5 years in Lapulu Village (ρ value = 0.003), there is a relationship between Mother's attitude towards Fulfillment of Nutrition for Toddlers Aged 3-5 years in Lapulu Village (ρ value = 0.024) and there is a relationship between Mother's education towards Fulfillment of Nutrition for Toddlers Aged 3-5 years in Lapulu Village (ρ value = 0.019). It is concluded that there is a relationship between Mother's Knowledge, attitude and education towards Fulfillment of Nutrition for Toddlers Aged 3-5 years

Abstract

Nutritional problems in the coastal area of ​​the Masaloka Raya Health Center are very high, the prevalence of stunting is 27.7% wasting 19%. 0.4% overweight and 34.9% underweight. The food management system for fishermen's families also plays a role in determining the nutritional problems of coastal communities, especially in the aspects of purchasing, cooking and distributing food. The purpose of this study was to determine the food management system by mothers in fishing families in the Masaloka Raya Islands, Bombana Regency. This type of research is descriptive, cross-sectional study approach. This research was conducted in Masaloka Raya Village in August 2024. The population was all toddlers in the Masaloka Health Center area, which was 84 people and the sample was some toddlers as many as 34 people who were taken using the simple random sampling technique. Data were collected using a valid and reliable questionnaire and analyzed descriptively. The results of the study found that the food purchasing system in fishing families was mostly in the sufficient category (91.2%), the rest was lacking (8.8%). The cooking system was mostly lacking (52.9%) and the rest (47.1%). The food distribution system was 100% sufficient. The conclusion of this study is that the food purchasing and distribution system is in the good category while the cooking system is mostly lacking. Suggestions for fishing families are to buy local vegetables and fruits so that nutritional needs are met in a balanced way and not to use food flavor enhancers such as royko or Masako. For Masaloka Raya Village to provide education related to balanced nutrition and for further researchers, to statistically analyze the causes of the lack of food cooking systems for fishing families in the coastal areas of the Masaloka Islands.
