Abstract

Women who choose to live single lives while pursuing careers are viewed as unusual in society. Understanding the meaning in life for single career women will provide insight into how they interpret their lives as individuals who live independently while facing social pressure related to their life choices and professional roles. The purpose of this study is to understand the meaning of life for single career women. This research was conducted using qualitative methods through an interpretive phenomenological study approach. Five participants aged 30-35 years with more than five years of work experience were selected purposively, with the criteria of not having a partner or being unmarried. Data were collected through semi-structured in-depth interviews and analyzed using the Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA) method. The results showed that the five participants found meaning in their lives through exploring various positive things and committing to lifelong learning, namely by continuing to open themselves up to new experiences, developing skills, and organizing themselves to live a more meaningful and purposeful life. This study highlights that meaning in life for single career women does not appear suddenly, but is formed through a process of self-reflection, acceptance, and self-development. Abstrak Wanita yang memilih menjalani kehidupan melajang sekaligus mengejar karier dipandang sebagai suatu hal yang tidak lazim dalam masyarakat. Memahami makna hidup pada wanita karier lajang akan memberikan pemahaman mengenai bagaimana mereka memaknai kehidupannya sebagai individu yang menjalani kemandirian sekaligus menghadapi tekanan sosial terkait pilihan hidup dan peran profesionalnya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memahami makna hidup pada wanita karier lajang. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode kualitatif melalui pendekatan studi fenomenologi interpretatif. Lima partisipan berusia 30-35 tahun dengan pengalaman kerja selama lebih dari lima tahun dipilih secara purposive, dengan kriteria tidak memiliki pasangan atau belum menikah. Data dikumpulkan dengan wawancara mendalam semi terstruktur dan dianalisis menggunakan metode Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kelima partisipan menemukan makna hidupnya melalui eksplorasi berbagai hal positif dan komitmen terhadap lifelong learning, yaitu dengan terus membuka diri pada pengalaman baru, mengembangkan keterampilan, serta menata diri agar menjalani kehidupan dengan lebih bermakna dan terarah. Penelitian ini menyoroti bahwa makna hidup pada wanita karier lajang tidak muncul secara tiba-tiba, tetapi terbentuk melalui proses refleksi diri, penerimaan, dan pengembangan diri.

Abstract

Perilaku self-harm pada perempuan dewasa awal berkaitan erat dengan kesulitan regulasi emosi, tekanan interpersonal, dan kerentanan dalam menghadapi tuntutan perkembangan, namun tidak semua individu dengan riwayat self-harm terus terjebak dalam perilaku tersebut. Sebagian individu mampu berhenti dan membangun resiliensi sebagai bentuk adaptasi positif terhadap pengalaman hidup yang sulit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami secara mendalam proses pembentukan resiliensi pada perempuan dewasa awal dengan riwayat self-harm, khususnya dalam pemaknaan pengalaman, regulasi emosi, dan dukungan sosial selama proses pemulihan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain fenomenologi. Partisipan berjumlah lima perempuan dewasa awal berusia 18–25 tahun yang memiliki riwayat self-harm dan telah berhenti minimal selama 12 bulan. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam semi-terstruktur dan dianalisis menggunakan Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa resiliensi terbentuk melalui tahapan paparan terhadap adversitas, disrupsi makna diri, aktivasi sistem protektif, rekonstruksi makna pengalaman self-harm, integrasi pengalaman ke dalam identitas diri, serta terbentuknya orientasi masa depan yang lebih adaptif. Dukungan sosial, kemampuan regulasi emosi, dan pemaknaan pengalaman sebagai titik balik kehidupan menjadi faktor penting dalam memperkuat resiliensi. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pengalaman self-harm dipahami partisipan sebagai strategi koping terhadap tekanan emosional yang, melalui dukungan interpersonal dan rekonstruksi makna. Abstract Self-harm behavior among emerging adult women is closely associated with difficulties in emotion regulation, interpersonal stress, and vulnerability in coping with developmental demands; however, not all individuals with a history of self-harm remain engaged in such behaviors. Some are able to stop and develop resilience as a form of positive adaptation to adverse life experiences. This study aimed to explore in depth the process of resilience development in emerging adult women with a history of self-harm, particularly in relation to meaning-making, emotion regulation, and social support during recovery. This study employed a qualitative approach with a phenomenological design. The participants consisted of five emerging adult women aged 18–25 years who had a history of self-harm and had stopped engaging in the behavior for at least 12 months. Data were collected through semi-structured in-depth interviews and analyzed using Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA). The findings indicate that resilience develops through stages of exposure to adversity, disruption of self-meaning, activation of protective systems, reconstruction of meaning related to self-harm experiences, integration of these experiences into identity, and the formation of a more adaptive future orientation. Social support, emotion regulation, and the ability to interpret self-harm experiences as turning points were identified as key factors in strengthening resilience. The findings of this study conclude that participants understood self-harm as a coping strategy in response to emotional distress, which is shaped through interpersonal support and meaning reconstruction.

Abstract

Pengalaman traumatis seperti pelecehan seksual dapat memberikan dampak jangka panjang yang kompleks bagi korban, terutama jika tidak dikelola secara adaptif. Pada sebagian individu, pengalaman tersebut dapat berperan terhadap munculnya gangguan psikologis berat di kemudian hari. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk memahami dinamika psikologis individu dewasa yang memiliki pengalaman pelecehan seksual dengan gangguan skizofrenia paranoid ditinjau dari perspektif psikoanalisis. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan wawancara mendalam, serta telaah dokumen rekam medis. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif-interpretatif dengan mengacu pada konsep-konsep psikoanalisis. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pengalaman pola asuh permisif pada masa kanak-kanak dapat berpengaruh terhadap dominasi struktur id dan lemahnya fungsi ego. Gejala psikotik yang muncul di kemudian hari merupakan manifestasi represi trauma pelecehan seksual yang tidak terselesaikan. Dinamika psikologis partisipan menunjukkan bahwa trauma masa lalu dan konflik bawah sadar memiliki peran dalam perkembangan gangguan psikologis berat, sehingga konsep psikoanalisis relevan untuk memahami dan merumuskan intervensi yang lebih komperhensif. Abstract Traumatic experiences such as sexual abuse can have complex, long-term impacts on victims, especially if not managed adaptively. For some individuals, these experiences can contribute to the development of serious psychological disorders later in life. The aim of this study is to understand the psychological dynamics of adult individuals who have experienced sexual abuse with paranoid schizophrenia disorders from a psychoanalytic perspective. The research used a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and a review of medical records. Data analysis was conducted descriptively and interpretively, drawing on psychoanalytic concepts. This research shows that permissive parenting experiences during childhood can influence the dominance of id structures and weaken ego function. Psychotic symptoms that emerge later in life are a manifestation of the repression of unresolved sexual abuse trauma. The psychological dynamics of the subject indicate that past trauma and unconscious conflicts play a role in the development of severe psychological disorders, so that psychoanalytic concepts are relevant for understanding and formulating more comprehensive interventions.

Abstract

Kematian pasangan merupakan peristiwa kehilangan yang menimbulkan dampak psikologis mendalam, khususnya bagi ibu rumah tangga yang harus beradaptasi dengan peran ganda sebagai ibu tunggal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi dampak psikologis, emosional, sosial, dan ekonomi yang dialami ibu rumah tangga setelah kematian suami. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif fenomenologis dengan empat partisipan ibu rumah tangga yang kehilangan suami. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dan dianalisis menggunakan Interperative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA). Temuan menunjukkan partisipan mengalami dampak emosional berupa shock, perasaan hampa, kesedihan mendalam, dan penyesalan. Dampak sosial meliputi kehilangan dukungan emosional suami, perubahan peran menjadi kepala keluarga, dan isolasi sosial. Dampak ekonomi mencakup kesulitan finansial akibat kehilangan pencari nafkah utama Ibu rumah tangga mengalami dampak multidimensional pascakehilangan suami yang memengaruhi aspek emosional, sosial, dan ekonomi kehidupan. Anak menjadi sumber motivasi utama untuk bertahan dan beradaptasi dengan kehidupan baru. Abstract Spousal loss is a significant life event that causes profound psychological impacts, particularly for housewives who must adapt to dual role as single mothers. Objective: This study aims to explore the psychological, emotional, social, and economic impacts experienced by housewives after their husba’d's death. This qualitative phenomenological study involved four housewife participants who lost their husbands. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and analyzed using Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA). Findings indicate participants experienced emotional impacts include loss of husband’s emotional support, role changes as family head, and social isolation. Economic impacts encompass financial difficulties due to loss of primary breadwinner. Housewives experience multidimensional impacts after spousal loss affecting emotional, social, and economic aspects of their lives. Children become the main source od motivation to survive and adapt to new life.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara persepsi publik dan kecemasan mengenai implementasi Program Makan Bergizi Gratis. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan 304 partisipan. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, pengumpulan data melalui survei daring menggunakan skala persepsi dan skala kecemasan, dan analisis data menggunakan korelasi Pearson Product Moment. Hasilnya menunjukkan hubungan positif yang signifikan antara persepsi dan kecemasan diperoleh r = 0.258 dengan p < .,001. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa persepsi berperan dalam membentuk reaksi emosional terhadap kebijakan publik, terutama ketika kebijakan tersebut dianggap melibatkan risiko atau ketidakpastian. Selain itu, faktor psikologis seperti penilaian kognitif dan rasa kendali juga mempengaruhi bagaimana suatu kebijakan dipersepsikan dan bagaimana tingkat kecemasan terbentuk. Dengan demikian, melalui temuan ini menegaskan bahwa persepsi berperan sebagai salah satu faktor psikologis yang berkontribusi terhadap munculnya kecemasan, namun masih terdapat faktor lain di luar penelitian yang memengaruhi kecemasan masyarakat. Abstract This study aims to examine the relationship between public perceptions and anxiety regarding the implementation of the Free Nutritious Meal Program. A quantitative research design was employed with 304 participants. Purposive sampling was used, and data were collected through an online survey utilizing a perception scale and an anxiety scale. Data analysis was conducted using the Pearson Product Moment correlation. The results revealed a significant positive relationship between perception and anxiety, with a correlation coefficient of r = 0.258 and p < 0.001. These findings indicate that perceptions play an important role in shaping emotional responses to public policies, particularly when such policies are perceived as involving risk or uncertainty. Furthermore, psychological factors such as cognitive appraisal and perceived control also influence how a policy is interpreted and how levels of anxiety are formed. Thus, these findings confirm that perception functions as one of the psychological factors contributing to the emergence of anxiety. However, there are still other factors beyond the scope of this study that influence public anxiety.

Abstract

Student engagement menjadi indikator kunci keberhasilan pembelajaran di perguruan tinggi karena berkaitan dengan kualitas partisipasi, motivasi, dan keberlanjutan studi mahasiswa. Namun, tingkat keterlibatan mahasiswa tidak selalu merata, sehingga diperlukan kajian mengenai faktor psikologis yang berkontribusi terhadap keterlibatan tersebut. Salah satu pengalaman psikologis yang relevan adalah flow akademik, yaitu kondisi keterlibatan optimal ketika mahasiswa merasakan fokus, minat, dan kenikmatan intrinsik dalam aktivitas belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara flow akademik dengan student engagement pada mahasiswa. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional. Responden dalam penelitian ini terdiri atas 332 mahasiswa S1 Psikologi Universitas Negeri Surabaya yang dipilih menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner daring menggunakan adaptasi skala EduFlow-2 dan University Student Engagement Inventory (USEI), kemudian dianalisis menggunakan korelasi Spearman. Hasil analisis menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif dan signifikan antara flow akademik dengan student engagement (ρ = 0,564; p < 0,001), dengan kekuatan hubungan berada pada kategori sedang. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa mahasiswa dengan tingkat pengalaman flow akademik yang lebih tinggi cenderung menunjukkan tingkat keterlibatan yang lebih tinggi secara perilaku, emosional, dan kognitif. Hasil penelitian ini mengimplikasikan pentingnya perancangan pembelajaran yang mampu memfasilitasi munculnya flow akademik guna mendukung keterlibatan mahasiswa secara optimal. Abstract Student engagement is a key indicator of successful learning in higher education, as it is closely related to the quality of participation, motivation, and students’ persistence in their studies. However, levels of student engagement are not always evenly distributed, highlighting the need to examine psychological factors that contribute to student involvement in learning. One relevant psychological experience is academic flow, which refers to an optimal state of engagement characterized by intense focus, strong interest, and intrinsic enjoyment during learning activities. This study aimed to examine the relationship between academic flow and student engagement among university students. A quantitative approach with a correlational design was employed. The respondents in this study consisted of 332 undergraduate psychology students at Universitas Negeri Surabaya, selected using a simple random sampling technique. Data were collected through an online questionnaire using adapted versions of EduFlow-2 scale and the University Student Engagement Inventory (USEI), and were analyzed using Spearman correlation. The results indicated a positive and significant relationship between academic flow and student engagement (ρ = 0.564; p < 0.001), with a moderate level of association. These findings indicate that students with higher levels of academic flow tend to exhibit higher levels of behavioral, emotional, and cognitive engagement. The study implies the importance of designing learning environments that facilitate the emergence of academic flow to support optimal student engagement.

Abstract

Gangguan skizoafektif tipe campuran merupakan gangguan mental berat yang ditandai oleh kemunculan gejala psikotik yang menetap disertai fluktuasi suasana perasaan berupa episode depresi dan mania, sehingga menimbulkan gangguan signifikan pada fungsi psikososial individu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan secara mendalam dinamika psikologis pasien dengan gangguan skizoafektif tipe campuran melalui pendekatan psikoanalisis Freud. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi, yang kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif dan integratif menggunakan kerangka teoretis psikoanalisis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gangguan yang dialami partisipan berakar pada konflik psikologis yang berlangsung sejak masa kanak-kanak, ditandai oleh dominasi superego yang kaku, lemahnya fungsi ego, serta represi emosi akibat pola relasi keluarga yang menekan dan pengalaman penolakan sosial yang berulang. Kondisi tersebut memicu munculnya gejala psikotik dan afektif sebagai bentuk kegagalan ego dalam mengelola dorongan internal dan realitas eksternal. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pemahaman psikodinamik penting untuk melengkapi intervensi medis agar penanganan pasien skizoafektif tipe campuran dapat dilakukan secara lebih komprehensif dan berkelanjutan. Abstract Mixed-type schizoaffective disorder is a severe mental disorder characterized by the persistent presence of psychotic symptoms accompanied by fluctuations in mood, including depressive and manic episodes, which result in significant impairment in psychosocial functioning. This study aims to provide an in-depth description of the psychological dynamics of a patient with mixed-type schizoaffective disorder using a Freudian psychoanalytic approach. The study employed a descriptive qualitative design with a case study approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and document analysis, and were subsequently analyzed descriptively and integratively within a psychoanalytic theoretical framework. The findings indicate that the participant’s condition is rooted in long-standing psychological conflicts originating in childhood, marked by a rigidly dominant superego, weakened ego functioning, and emotional repression resulting from oppressive family relationships and repeated experiences of social rejection. These conditions contribute to the emergence of psychotic and affective symptoms as manifestations of the ego’s failure to manage internal drives and external reality. This study concludes that a psychodynamic understanding is essential to complement medical interventions in order to achieve more comprehensive and sustainable treatment for patients with mixed-type schizoaffective disorder.

Abstract

Penggunaan media sosial TikTok yang semakin masif pada remaja laki-laki berpotensi memengaruhi cara individu memandang tubuhnya serta tingkat kepercayaan diri yang dimiliki. Paparan standar fisik ideal di media sosial dapat membentuk body image tertentu yang berdampak pada self confidence remaja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara body image dan self confidence pada remaja laki-laki pengguna TikTok. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling dengan melibatkan 215 remaja laki-laki berusia 15–20 tahun yang aktif menggunakan TikTok. Instrumen penelitian berupa skala body image berdasarkan aspek Cash dan Pruzinsky serta skala self confidence berdasarkan aspek Lauster. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji korelasi Pearson Product Moment dengan bantuan SPSS versi 25.0 for Windows. Hasil analisis menunjukkan koefisien korelasi sebesar r = 0,472 dengan nilai signifikansi p = 0,000 (p < 0,05), yang menandakan adanya hubungan positif dan signifikan antara body image dan self confidence. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa semakin positif body image yang dimiliki remaja laki-laki pengguna TikTok, maka semakin tinggi tingkat self confidence mereka, sehingga penting adanya upaya pengembangan body image positif pada remaja dalam konteks penggunaan media sosial. Abstract The increasing use of TikTok among male adolescents may influence how individuals perceive their bodies and develop self-confidence. Continuous exposure to idealized physical standards on social media can shape body image and subsequently affect adolescents’ self-confidence. This study aimed to examine the relationship between body image and self-confidence among male adolescent TikTok users. This study employed a quantitative correlational design. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, involving 215 male adolescents aged 15–20 years who were active TikTok users. The research instruments consisted of a body image scale developed based on the aspects proposed by Cash and Pruzinsky and a self-confidence scale developed based on Lauster’s aspects of self-confidence. Data were analyzed using the Pearson Product Moment correlation test with the assistance of SPSS version 25.0 for Windows. The results showed a correlation coefficient of r = 0.472 with a significance value of p = 0.000 (p < 0.05), indicating a positive and significant relationship between body image and self-confidence. These findings suggest that a more positive body image is associated with higher levels of self-confidence among male adolescent TikTok users. Therefore, fostering a positive body image is important in supporting adolescents’ psychological well-being in the context of social media use.

Abstract

Tingginya kepemilikan kendaraan roda empat di Indonesia berkontribusi terhadap meningkatnya kepadatan lalu lintas dan risiko kecelakaan, yang sebagian besar disebabkan oleh faktor manusia, khususnya perilaku aggressive driving. Salah satu faktor psikologis yang secara teoretis berpotensi memengaruhi perilaku tersebut adalah cognitive reflection, yaitu kemampuan individu menahan respons intuitif dan melibatkan pemikiran reflektif sebelum bertindak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh cognitive reflection terhadap aggressive driving pada pengemudi passenger car di Indonesia. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain regresi linear. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner daring kepada 80 pengemudi passenger car yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi, dengan pengukuran cognitive reflection menggunakan Verbal Cognitive Reflection Test (CRT-V) dan aggressive driving menggunakan Aggressive Driving Behavior Scale (ADBS). Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan regresi linear dengan mengontrol variabel usia dan jenis kelamin. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa cognitive reflection tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap aggressive driving (p > 0,05), demikian pula variabel usia, sementara jenis kelamin menunjukkan kecenderungan pengaruh namun belum mencapai taraf signifikansi statistik. Nilai koefisien determinasi yang rendah mengindikasikan bahwa model hanya menjelaskan sebagian kecil variasi aggressive driving. Simpulan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa aggressive driving tidak dapat dijelaskan secara langsung oleh kemampuan refleksi kognitif, melainkan dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang bersifat emosional, situasional, dan sosial, sehingga diperlukan pendekatan yang lebih komprehensif dalam upaya pencegahan perilaku berkendara agresif. Abstract The high level of passenger car ownership in Indonesia contributes to increasing traffic density and accident risk, with human factors identified as the dominant cause, particularly aggressive driving behavior. One psychological factor that is theoretically assumed to influence such behavior is cognitive reflection, defined as the ability to inhibit intuitive responses and engage in reflective thinking before acting. This study aimed to examine the effect of cognitive reflection on aggressive driving among passenger car drivers in Indonesia. The study employed a quantitative approach using a linear regression design. Data were collected through an online questionnaire from 80 passenger car drivers who met the inclusion criteria. Cognitive reflection was measured using the Verbal Cognitive Reflection Test (CRT-V), while aggressive driving was assessed using the Aggressive Driving Behavior Scale (ADBS). Data analysis was conducted using linear regression while controlling for age and gender. The results showed that cognitive reflection did not have a significant effect on aggressive driving (p > 0.05). Age also did not show a significant effect, while gender demonstrated a tendency toward influence that did not reach statistical significance. The low coefficient of determination indicates that the regression model explained only a small proportion of variance in aggressive driving behavior. In conclusion, aggressive driving cannot be explained solely by cognitive reflection, but appears to be influenced by emotional, situational, and social factors.

Abstract

Mahasiswa dalam kehidupan perkuliahan dihadapkan pada berbagai tuntutan dan tantangan akademik sehari-hari, seperti beban tugas, tekanan evaluasi, dan tuntutan pencapaian prestasi, yang dapat memengaruhi kemampuan bertahan serta kesejahteraan psikologis. Kondisi tersebut menuntut mahasiswa untuk memiliki kemampuan adaptif agar mampu menghadapi kesulitan akademik secara efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara academic buoyancy dan psychological well-being pada mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode korelasional. Subjek penelitian dipilih menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui penyebaran skala academic buoyancy dan psychological well-being, kemudian data dianalisis menggunakan uji korelasi Spearman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat academic buoyancy dan psychological well-being mahasiswa berada pada kategori sedang. Selain itu, hasil analisis menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif dan signifikan antara academic buoyancy dan psychological well-being dengan nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,553. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa mahasiswa yang memiliki kemampuan lebih baik dalam bertahan dan bangkit dari kesulitan akademik sehari-hari cenderung memiliki kesejahteraan psikologis yang lebih baik. Simpulan penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa academic buoyancy memiliki peran penting dalam mendukung kesejahteraan psikologis mahasiswa, sehingga penguatan academic buoyancy dapat dipertimbangkan sebagai salah satu upaya dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan psikologis di lingkungan pendidikan tinggi. Abstract University students are exposed to various everyday academic demands, including heavy coursework, evaluation pressure, and performance expectations, which may influence their capacity to cope and maintain psychological well-being. Such conditions highlight the importance of adaptive psychological resources that enable students to manage routine academic difficulties effectively. This study aimed to examine the relationship between academic buoyancy and psychological well-being among undergraduate students. A quantitative correlational design was employed, with participants selected using a simple random sampling technique. Data were collected through standardized academic buoyancy and psychological well-being scales and analyzed using Spearman’s correlation test. The results showed that both academic buoyancy and psychological well-being were generally at a moderate level. Furthermore, the analysis revealed a positive and statistically significant relationship between academic buoyancy and psychological well-being (r = 0.553). This finding indicates that students who are more capable of persisting and recovering from everyday academic setbacks tend to demonstrate higher levels of psychological well-being. In conclusion, academic buoyancy constitutes an important psychological resource that contributes to students’ well-being, suggesting that efforts to foster academic buoyancy may play a meaningful role in supporting psychological well-being within higher education contexts.
