Abstract

Tidak adanya emotional vailability dari orang tua merupakan fenomena yang sering kali tidak terlihat secara fisik tetapi membentuk pengalaman hidup anak, terutama remaja akhir yang akan memasuki fase dewasa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengalaman remaja akhir yang tidak mendapatkan emotional availability dari orang tua. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode fenomenologi. Partisipan penelitian berjumlah lima orang remaja akhir yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara semi-terstruktur dan dianalisis menggunakan analisis tematik. Instrumen penelitian berupa pedoman wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tiga tema utama, yaitu: (1) hubungan relasional dengan orang tua, (2) pengalaman emosional dalam diri, (3) penerimaan dan harapan. Keseluruhan temuan menunjukkan bahwa remaja akhir tetap berusaha membangun makna atas relasi yang terbatas secara emosional dengan orang tua dan menunjukkan upaya adaptasi melalui penerimaan dan pengharapan. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan dalam memahami emotional availability, khususnya dari orang tua. Penelitian selanjutnya disarankan mengeksplorasi peran figur signifikan lain dalam memenuhi kebutuhan emosional remaja.  Abstract The absence of emotional availability from parents is a phenomenon that often goes unnoticed physically but significantly shapes a child’s life experience, especially during late adolescence—a stage leading into adulthood. This study aims to explore the experiences of late adolescents who do not receive emotional availability from their parents. A qualitative approach with a phenomenological method was employed. The participants consisted of five late adolescents selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews and analyzed using thematic analysis. The research instrument was an interview guideline. The findings revealed three main themes: (1) relational dynamics with parents, (2) internal emotional experiences, and (3) acceptance and hope. Overall, the results indicate that late adolescents attempt to make meaning of their emotionally limited relationships with parents and show adaptive efforts through acceptance and hope. This study is expected to serve as a reference in understanding emotional availability, particularly in the context of parenting. Future research is recommended to explore the role of other significant figures in fulfilling adolescents’ emotional needs.

Abstract

Tidak jarang dalam perjalanannya, seorang ibu yang memiliki anak balita begitu terfokus pada pemenuhan kebutuhan anak, hingga mengabaikan kesejahteraan dirinya sendiri. Di tengah tuntutan kerja dan tanggung jawab domestik, ibu karir dengan anak balita nyaris tidak memiliki waktu untuk diri sendiri. Hal ini mencerminkan potensi terganggunya subjective wellbeing pada ibu karir dengan anak balita. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami dinamika serta mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor penentu subjective well being pada ibu karir dengan anak balita di Kota Surabaya. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain fenomenologi. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam terhadap beberapa informan yang merupakan ibu bekerja penuh waktu dan memiliki anak usia di bawah 5 tahun. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan dinamika yang dijalani ibu cenderung sulit yang ditandai dengan perubahan tanggung jawab dan beban peran setelah menjadi ibu. Untuk menghadapi dinamika tersebut, penting untuk ibu karir agar melakukan strategi adaptasi dengan memisahkan peran antara pekerjaan dan keluarga agar tidak saling mengganggu, menjalin komunikasi dan kolaborasi erat dengan pasangan, tetap hadir secara emosional untuk anak walaupun secara fisik tidak selalu bisa hadir, serta melakukan penerimaan diri atas situasi yang tidak ideal. Faktor yang menentukan subjective well being ibu karir dengan anak balita berada pada adanya kepuasan hidup karena rasa syukur, dukungan sosial, anak sebagai sumber kebahagiaan, konflik dan beban tanggung jawab, emosi negatif dan mekanisme koping. Abstract It is not uncommon for mothers with young children to become so focused on meeting their child’s needs that they neglect their own well being. Faced with job demands and household responsibilities, working mothers with children under five often have little time for themselves. This reflects a potential disruption in the subjective well being of working mothers with children under five. This study aims to explore the dynamics and identify the key factors that influence the subjective well being of working mothers with children under five in Surabaya. A qualitative approach with a phenomenological design was used. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with several full-time working mothers who have children under the age of five. The findings show that these mothers experience challenging role dynamics, marked by shifts in responsibilities and increased role burdens after becoming a parent. To manage these challenges, working mothers apply adaptive strategies such as separating work and family roles to avoid overlap, building strong communication and cooperation with their partners, being emotionally present for their children even if not always physically available, and accepting less-than-ideal situations. The key factors influencing their subjective well being include life satisfaction driven by gratitude, social support, seeing children as a source of happiness, role-related conflict and burdens, negative emotions, and coping mechanisms.

Abstract

Fenomena hubungan toxic, terutama yang berkaitan dengan perilaku posesif, dapat didefinisikan sebagai hubungan merugikan ketika salah satu atau kedua pihak memiliki pola perlaku tidak sehat hingga sering kali berdampak negatif pada kesehatan mental. Meningkatnya kesadaran masyarakat mengenai kesehatan mental dan hubungan yang sehat di Indonesia menjadi latar belakang penelitian ini untuk memahami pengalaman perempuan yang terjebak dalam hubungan toxic. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain fenomenologi, di mana penelitian ini melibatkan wawancara semi-terstruktur terhadap empat remaja perempuan berusia 15-22 tahun yang memiliki pengalaman langsung dalam hubungan toxic. Penelitian ini memperoleh hasil bahwa hubungan toxic memiliki karakteristik seperti kontrol berlebihan, perliaku posesif, dan dinamika kekuasaan. Partisipan yang menjadi sumber penelitian mengalami dampak psikologis berupa emosi negatif, perasaan kehilangan identitas, dan self-blaming yang berkepanjangan. Proses coping dan pemulihan yang dilakukan bervariasi, seperti belajar, berolahraga, dan mencari dukungan sosial. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang dinamika hubungan posesif dan perlunya dukungan bagi perempuan untuk mengatasi dampak negatif dari hubungan toxic, serta memberikan wawasan bagi praktisi psikologi dalam merancang intervensi yang lebih efektif.

Abstract

Self-diagnosis kesehatan mental menjadi fenomena yang semakin umum di kalangan remaja perempuan, terutama dengan kemudahan akses informasi melalui internet. Namun, perilaku ini menimbulkan kekhawatiran karena tidak selalu didasarkan pada pemahaman yang tepat dan dapat memengaruhi cara individu menangani kondisi psikologisnya. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk memahami bagaimana remaja perempuan membentuk pengalaman dan makna di balik tindakan self-diagnosis yang mereka lakukan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi fenomenologi. Subjek penelitian adalah remaja perempuan berusia 17–21 tahun yang melakukan self diagnosis kesehatan mental dalam 12 bulan terakhir. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara semi terstruktur, sedangkan teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis tematik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perilaku self diagnosis dipengaruhi oleh interaksi antara faktor personal, lingkungan digital (kemudahan akses informasi melalui internet), serta pengaruh sosial. Teori Kognitif Sosial memberikan kerangka yang komprehensif dalam memahami perilaku ini sebagai respons terhadap kondisi sosial-psikologis yang kompleks dan saling berinteraksi. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan pentingnya peningkatan literasi digital dan kesehatan mental, serta perlunya penelitian lebih lanjut terkait pengaruh faktor budaya, usia, dan tingkat pendidikan terhadap perilaku self diagnosis di era digital. Abstract Self-diagnosis of mental health is becoming an increasingly common phenomenon among adolescent girls, especially with the ease of access to information via the internet. However, this behavior raises concerns because it is not always based on proper understanding and can affect how individuals deal with their psychological conditions. This study was conducted to understand how adolescent girls shape the experiences and meanings behind their self-diagnosis actions. This study used a qualitative approach with a phenomenological study design. The subjects of the study were adolescent girls aged 17–21 years who had self-diagnosed their mental health in the past 12 months. Data collection was carried out through semi-structured interviews, while the data analysis technique used thematic analysis. The results of the study indicate that self-diagnosis behavior is influenced by the interaction between personal factors, the digital environment (ease of access to information via the internet), and social influences. Social Cognitive Theory provides a comprehensive framework for understanding this behavior as a response to complex and interacting socio-psychological conditions. This study recommends the importance of increasing digital literacy and mental health, as well as the need for further research related to the influence of cultural factors, age, and education level on self-diagnosis behavior in the digital era.

Abstract

This community service that aims to improve teachers' ability to use technology in Special School PGRI Kamal. In the initial observation, the results were obtained that there were various challenges faced by the teacher council at Special School PGRI Kamal in the implementation of learning for students with special needs such as the deaf and speech-impaired. The limited number of teachers which causes an additional workload for teachers. Community service activities are needed by providing workshops. The workshop  activities held included the use of audio, visual, and audiovisual media which were carried out offline. The workshop held in this service program is expected to improve teachers' skills in the use of  digital media platforms to support learning activities

Abstract

Objective: Indonesia ranks third as the country with the most social media users, with emerging adults making up the largest group. On average, Indonesians spend almost 6 hours a day playing social media. This condition can cause both physical and psychological problems. One of the impacts of excessive social media use is Social Media Fatigue (SMF). The level of SMF is influenced by several factors, one of which is Fear of Missing Out (FoMo), which is a fear of missing out on experiences that others are enjoying. SMF and FoMo can significantly impact an individual's mental health. The link between the two conditions is clear, but there is little in-depth research linking the two. This study aimed to explore the association of Fear of Missing out (FoMo) with Social Media Fatigue (SMF) among emerging adults. Method: A cross-sectional study design was conducted among 157 men and women emerging adults. Participants completed a self-administered questionnaire that consisted of demographic characteristics, Fear of Missing Out scale, and Social Media Fatigue scale. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis and Pearson Correlation statistic technique. Results: Descriptive analysis results showed that men showed a higher tendency of both fear of missing out and social media fatigue compared to women. Further, a significant yet moderate correlation was found between FoMo and SMF among emerging adults. Novelty: This study contributed to explore further on the relationship between fear of missing out (FoMo) and social media fatigue specifically among emerging adults.

Abstract

This study investigated the effectiveness of Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) interventions in reducing depression, anxiety, and stress among children with physical disabilities. The intervention program integrated relaxation techniques, emotional literacy, and peer-based activities to promote adaptive coping and emotional resilience. A pretest–posttest design was employed, and statistical analysis indicated a significant improvement in psychological well-being, with large effect sizes across all variables. The greatest change occurred in depressive symptoms, followed by reductions in anxiety and stress levels. These findings suggest that structured and contextually adapted MHPSS programs effectively enhance emotional regulation and psychosocial adjustment. The study highlights the importance of school-based psychosocial initiatives in fostering inclusive education and reducing stigma toward children with disabilities.

Abstract

Pendahuluan: Remaja merupakan fase yang unik dan penuh tantangan. Dorongan seksual yang mulai muncul dapat mengarahkan mereka melakukan perilaku seksual yang merugikan. Sayangnya, membicarakan tentang seksualitas maupun pendidikan seksual dianggap masih tabu. Psikoedukasi merupakan salah satu alternatif yang tepat untuk menumbuhkan pemahaman dan pengetahuan mereka tentang seksualitas. Metode : Psikoedukasi yang menyasar pada siswa-siswi remaja SIJB dengan jumlah 100 peserta dengan penyampaian materi secara ceramah, diskusi, dan konsultasi. Hasil : Adanya peningkatan pemahaman dan pengetahuan tentang seksualitas, pubertas, kekerasan seksual, bijak bersosial media, hingga pertemanan sehat. Kesimpulan : Kegiatan mempu memberikan dampak yang positif dengan harapan tidak hanya meningkatkan pengetahuan, namun juga berdampak pada perubahan perilaku.
