Abstract

Naturally, students' motivation is one of the success determinant of the learning process in the world of schooling . Therefore, the teachers are required to be more creative to keep students’ motivation in participating the learning. Cooperative learning model is one of the various existing model of the learning methods. The results showed that students learning motivation depends on the method of learning carried out by the teacher in the classroom. Practically, variety of learning methods becomes urgent to carry out, so that the learning success is achieved.

Abstract

Character education does not merely teach what is true or false, but inculcates habituationof the goodness so that the students will understand, feel, appreciate, and practice. Basedon the results of study: 1) The implementation of Cooperative Learning type Throwing Snowball, and picture media can enhance students’ character values. It can be seen from the results of the pre-test 2.33 and the final result is 2.8; 2) The implementation ofCooperative Learning type Throwing Snowball, and picture media can enhance the abilityto think deeply and systematically of the language. It can be seen from the results of thepre-test, from 2.33 to 2.8 in the final score; and 3) The implementation of CooperativeLearning type Throwing Snowball, and picture media can enhance the quality of learningviewed from the results of the questionnaire level of students’ satisfaction toward lecturerthat reaches 71%.

Abstract

Pendidikan anak usia dini dalam Islam adalah pendidikan yang berlangsung sejak anak-anak masih kecil. Islam menyebutkan bahwa seseorang itu dikatakan anak-anak, apabila ia belum mencapai akil baligh (dewasa) dan pendidikan diamanahkan kepada orang tua sebagai pendidik yang utama. Usia dini merupakan masa emas (golden age), karena pada usia dini ini anak-anaka mengalami pertumbuhan dan perkebangan yang sangat luar biasa mulai dari fisik, mental, pembentukan karakter, watak serta kepribadian. Oleh karena itu sangat penting sekali diberikan pendidikan agama sejak dini bertujuan bukanlah sekedar mengalihkan perilaku atau tabiat sebagai isi pendidikan akhlak, melainkan lebih merupakan suatu ikhtiar untuk menggugah fitrah insaniyah, sehingga peserta didik bisa menjadi penganut atau pemeluk yang taat dan baik serta bermoral. Dengan kata lain, pendidikan akhlak anak dalam Islam bertujuan agar peserta didik dapat membentuk dirinya menjadi insan kamil yang mempunyai akhlakul karimah dan dapat mengaplikasikan-nya di dalam kehidupan sehari-hari sebagai hamba Allah yang taat untuk menggapai ridha-Nya dalam kehidupan dunia dan akhirat. Dalam menanamkan pendidikan agama pada anak usia dini dapat diberikan melalui beberapa langkah seperti keteladanan selalu mengucapkan rasa syukur atas nikmat yang Allah berikan serta mengenalkan ibadah terutama sholat, wudhu dan membaca do’a sehari-hari serta surat-surat pendek, bercerita mengenalkan ciptaan-ciptaan Allah tentang alam seisinya, nasihat dan pembiasaan yang bernuansa Islami agar terbentuk akhlakul karimah .

Abstract

The Teacher Certification Program was an educational form that aimed at increasingthe professionalism of teachers. The aim of this research was to describe before and after basic knowledge of primary teachers that has been already joining in Teacher Certification Program. Basic knowledge is knowledge about understanding lesson plans which is suitable with basic competence, lesson theory, until research plan after teaching to support teacher professionalism. The research method was a quantitative description. Technique this research was an interview with a primary teacher that has been already joining the teacher certification program. Data analysis using a percentage of basic knowledge before and after primary teacher. Data result has been shown basic knowledge primary teacher is increased from arranging lesson plan for doing research and reflection in the learning process Pendidikan Profesional Guru merupakan bentuk pendidikan yang ditujukan bagi guru untuk meningkatkan keprofesionalan guru. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan dasar atau Basic Knowledge guru Sekolah Dasar sebelum dan sesudah mengikuti Pendidikan Profesional Guru (PPG). Kemampuan dasar atau basic knowledge merupakan kemampuan yang meliputi pemahaman rencana pembelajaran yang sesuai kompetensi dasar, pemahaman teori belajar, hingga penelitian setelah pembelajaran untuk mendukung profesional guru. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Teknik wawancara dilakukan dalam penelitian ini dengan subjek guru sekolah dasar yang telah megikuti PPG. Analisis data menggunakan hasil presentasi kemampuan guru sebelum dan sesudah mengikuti PPG. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan Basic Knowledge guru Sekolah Dasar meningkat, dimulai dari kemampuan melakukan perencanaan sampai melakukan penelitian perbaikan dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

This research aims at revealing a clear depiction of figurative language, literature psychology and educational values of Novel Small Letters to God, Davonar Agnes’ work. It is kind of descriptive qualitative research method. And the source of data is by using Novel Small Letters to God, of Davonar Agnes’ work. The data which is used is the result of the researched annotation in the form of sentences containing figurative language and educational values of Novel Small Letters to God. Furthermore, the data collection was carried out by using literature technique or document. The analysis activity is begun from data reduction that allows the researcher to discharge and enter the useful data as well as triangulation which allows researcher to acquire the validity of the data. Thus, the reduced data as well as triangulation will provide a clear depiction and facilitate researchers for collecting the further data. Based on the research findings, it can be concluded that Novel Small Letters To God has psychology, figurative language and educational values. Novel Small Letters To God, of Agnes Davonar’s work is found to have id, ego and super-ego. This novel uses figurative language as follows: hyperbole, personification, climax, irony, antithesis, satire, litotes, anastrophe, paronomasia, periphrasis, paralipsis, apostrophe, and contains the educational values, including religious, moral, and social value.

Abstract

This study is a descriptive study using a qualitative approach. The purpose of this study isto describe the location of the fault response and the factors that cause the errors studentsas well as to find out a solution how to solve the error response of the student in solvingproblems based on the use of derivative function Polya steps consisting of four steps,namely problem solving (1) understanding the problem, (2) completion of the plan, (3)implementation of the settlement plan. The result shows that: the mistakes made by thestudents in understanding the problem that is not writing down what is known and what isbeing asked of the problem as well as one in writing what is being asked of the matter; themistakes made by students in the completion of the plan that did not make the settlementplan; error in executing the settlement plan that does not transcribe information on thenumber line, one in determining the derivative function, one in the wrong in the countingprocess and write the final answer of the question; and the mistakes made by students thatthe students do not check back answers that have been obtained.

Capitalismgrows everywhere, both in developed countries and in developing countries. Developedcountry and has a lot of capital will dominate the economic sector. As a result , fordeveloping countries , of course, will depend on the help of other countries , as a result, the new style of economic imperialism and colonialism will emerge by itself . To dealwith this, the development sector must be exactly run. The development must be felt bythe whole societies.

Abstract

This research aims at revealing the students’ rough motor ability among lower classes in State Elementary School II Tirip. It is kind of survey research using test and measurement as the data collection techniques. The population of this research were the whole lower classes in the State Elementary School II Tirip to the number of 103 students. Furthermore, the instrument used in this research is rough motor ability tests. Then, data were analyzed using descriptive analysis in the form of percentage by using four categories: very low, low, high, and very high. Based on the research findings, it can be concluded that the rough motor ability of the lower class students is commonly categorized in high. The details of the findings are 4 students or 3.88% of rough motor ability is very low, 27 students or 26.21% of rough motor ability is low, 53 students with the percentage of 51.46% have high rough motor ability, and 19 students or 18:45% of very high rough motor ability. Based on the percentages, students of those having high rough motor ability have higher percentage compared to others, namely 51.46%.

Abstract

It is a kind of library research which aims at revealing: (1) the definitions of error analysis;(2) the sources of error; (3) error taxonomy and linguistic category; (4) relevant research oferror analysis. The strategy of this research is modified from George (2008: 66) through thefollowing phases: (1) motivation or assignment; (2) topic selection; (3) research questions(brainstorming); (4) research plan (strategy); (5) reference works & databases (tools &tactics); (6) sources; (7) evaluation; (8) drafting & revising. Error is one of the lerners’interlanguage prosess where the learners make unnecessary items to be included or evenommit the necessary items. Those issues are virtually unique to note and being ongoingresearch that has never ended. This research is carried out to have more affinity for thestudents’ error so then the teachers can be responsive in giving his or her policy in Eglishteaching strategy priority. Based on the relevant research findings, the frequent errors madeby the students are in using participles and past costumes (the highest error is past simple) itmay be caused of the frequent usage of the basic grammar used by the students. It impliesthat drilling on the frequent error is a must and becomes priority to focuse.
