Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze students' internal learning motivation at the  Madrasah Aliyah Waburense. The type of research in this research is descriptive quantitative. The data collection technique for this research uses a mixed questionnaire. The subjects of this research consisted of 62 students in grades XI and XII at the Madrasah Aliyah Waburense. This research instrument consists of 4 indicators with 22 statements. The results of research on students' internal learning motivation were obtained; (1) the percentage of indicators of desire and desire to succeed is 68.2%, namely the medium category (2) there are hopes and aspirations for the future, 82.02%, namely the high category (3) shows interest, 54.5%, namely the medium category ( 4) diligent in facing tasks 73.4% high category. Conclusion: Internal learning motivation for classes XI and XII at the Madrasah Aliyah Waburense produces an average percentage of 70.5% in the high category.

Abstract

This research aims to (1) explore what obstacles students experience in learning English language skills, (2) find out how the English Day program works, (3) find out how the English Day program contributes to improving speaking skills and abilities, and (4) investigate the various research methods used by researchers in selected articles. A literature review was applied as a method in this study with 10 articles reviewed. The articles reviewed are limited to: (1) articles taken from the Google Scholar and open knowledge maps database; (2) open access articles; (3) the topic is related to English day program. The review process, starting with a focused search, continues with thorough analysis, evaluation, and synthesis of the information gathered to gain a comprehensive understanding of the research topic. The results of this research show that students had several problems while implementing the English Day Program, such as psychological and linguistic problems. Apart from that, researchers also found that the English Day Program was proven to improve students' speaking skills. Apart from that, there are several things that influence students, such as motivation, self-confidence, understanding of English, interest, and mastery of vocabulary.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the findings of some problems that are often experienced by students when in class, namely experiencing boredom and boredom caused by the monotonous teaching and learning process. The research aims to determine the teacher's teaching variation skills in grade IV of Nanga Dangkan 01 Public Elementary School in the 2022/2023 academic year. This study used a qualitative approach and descriptive method; the research subjects were teachers and fourth-grade students, the research object was teaching variation skills, and the data collection techniques used were observation, direct communication, and documentation studies. Data collection tools used include observation sheets, interview sheets, and documentation. Data analysis techniques using data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The research results obtained: 1) Teachers are skilled in applying variations in teaching styles. 2) The teacher has applied visual and kinesthetic learning media but needs to be more skilled in applying audio media. 3) The teacher has applied all aspects of variations in interaction patterns in a balanced way. 4) supporting factors due to the teacher's knowledge and understanding in creating a pleasant classroom atmosphere and the inhibiting factors experienced by the teacher, namely the availability of minimal facilities, which makes the teacher often not use learning media and the teacher's lack of creativity in creating learning media. The teaching variation skills of grade IV Elementary School teachers are seen as skilled and have been seen in applying teacher teaching variations.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan APE kincir pintar dibandingkan dengan APE magic bag terhadap kemampuan mengenal huruf vokal anak. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode quasi eksperimen. Dengan desain penelitian Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah anak usia 5 – 6 tahun di TK Aisyah Kota Tangerang dengan jumlah sampel berjumlah 20 siswa. Cara pengambilan sampel dengan Non-probability sampling dengan metode purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan instrumen soal tes yang berbentuk kuesioner yang terdiri dari 14 pertanyaan. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis kemampuan mengenal huruf vokal anak usia dini pada taraf signifikan = 0,05 pada pada pretes diperoleh t_hitung=-0,829 dan t_tabel= 2,100, maka dapat disimpulkan tidak terdapat perbedaan antara kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen. Sedangkan untuk postes diperoleh  t_hitung= 2,775 dan t_tabel= 2,100 sehingga t_hitung> t_tabel, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan antara kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen. Kemudian dari perhitungan rata-rata N-gain pada kelas eksperimen pretes sebesar 28,9 dan postes sebesar 52,3 dengan N-gain skor sebesar 86,3% kategori tinggi, dan pada kelas kontrol pretes sebesar 28,1 dan postes sebesar 50,3 dengan N-gain skor 79,6% kategori tinggi. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan APE kincir pintar lebih efektif daripada penggunaan APE magic bag terhadap kemampuan mengenal huruf vokal di TK Aisyah Kota Tangerang.

Abstract

This research aims to reveal teachers' efforts to improve the numeracy of lower grade elementary school students using singing and Jarimatika methods. This research is a type of qualitative research with a case study approach. Research data was collected from elementary school teachers and low-grade elementary school students using observation and interviews. The results of the research show that the teacher's efforts to integrate the singing and Jarimatika methods were carried out using the song "Balonku Ada Lima" whose lyrics were replaced with addition and subtraction rules using the Jarimatika method. Jarimatika rules are taught by singing while simulating number symbols to introduce the concept of place value. Improving number operation skills is carried out by combining the concept of scaffolding, peer tutoring, and drill and practice of calculating using Jarimatika. This combination of methods aims to make it easier for students to strengthen their numeracy skills using Jarimatika method.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan pemahaman dan kesiapsiagaan siswa SD Al Muhajirin menghadapi bencana melalui kegiatan edukasi dan simulasi menggunakan media pop up 3 dimensi pada anak. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pemberian angket/kuesioner, observasi, dan wawancara. Berdasarkan analisis data yang telah dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa setelah penggunaan media pop up 3 dimensi sebagai media mitigasi bencana gempa bumi dan tsunami, secara umum sebagian besar siswa sudah memahami simulasi dan demonstrasi mitigasi bencana yang dilaksanakan, dibuktikan dengan hasil wawancara yang menunjukkan bahwa tingkat pemahaman siswa, sebanyak 75% memiliki pengetahuan yang baik tentang bencana gempa bumi dan tsunami serta penyebabnya. Dari hasil penelitian yang dilaksanakan 17 siswa teramati aktif berpartisipasi dalam simulasi kesiapsiagaan bencana gempa bumi dan tsunami, 5 siswa berpartisipasi sedang, serta 2 siswa pasif. Dengan digunakannya media pop up 3 dimensi, siswa lebih memahami mitigasi bencana gempa bumi dan tsunami.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the magnitude of the influence of several variables of teacher professionalism and school culture together on students' basic literacy abilities at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) in Suralaga District using 28 teachers and 560 students as respondents. This study uses an ex-post facto approach. Data were collected using a school culture teacher professionalism questionnaire, and tests of students' basic literacy skills. Data analysis using simple correlation, simple regression, and multiple regression. The results showed that there was a significant influence: (1) teacher professionalism on students' basic literacy skills with a determination of 22.4% and an effective contribution of 20.9%, (2) school culture on students' basic literacy skills with a determination of 22, 8% and an effective contribution of 21.3%, (3) together the professionalism of teachers and school culture on the basic literacy abilities of students at MI in Suralaga District with a determination of 42.2%. Teacher professionalism and school culture can be used as predictors of students' basic literacy abilities

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and describe the effect of implementing learning using a problem posing approach on students' acquisition of critical mathematical thinking skills. The method in this study is quantitative with a Quasi Experiment type. In this study, it was concluded that (i) the problem posing approach had an effect on students' mathematical critical thinking abilities, (ii) this approach was also proven to be able to improve students' mathematical critical thinking abilities, this was obtained based on the N-gain test which had been carried out where the N-gain score was obtained for the problem posing approach is 0.67 which is included in the medium category. So, based on the research results, it can be concluded that the problem posing learning approach has an effect on students' mathematical critical thinking abilities, apart from that this learning approach can also improve students' mathematical critical thinking abilities.

Abstract

Kendala dalam kemampuan menulis peserta didik dan kurangnya variasi dalam media pembelajaran di kelas XII MIPA 3. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengukur kemampuan menulis teks opini peserta didik kelas XII MIPA 3 dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran berupa film pendek. Pada penelitian ini penulis menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Penelitian ini laksanakan bagi peserta didik MIPA 3 kelas XII di SMA Al Islam 1 Surakarta pada semester ganjil tahun pelajaran 2023/2024. Penelitian ini bersumber dari peserta didik kelas XII MIPA 3. Data yang digunakan yaitu peningkatan nilai peserta didik. Hasil evaluasi yang dilakukan pada siklus I terdapat 28 peserta didik atau 70% telah mencapai ketuntasan, kemudian pada siklus II hasil evaluasi menunjukkan sebanyak 32 peserta didik atau 80% telah mencapai ketuntasan. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan menunjukan bahwa film pendek sebagai media pembelajaran dapat meningkakan hasil belajar peserta didik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyajikan hasil analisis kebutuhan terkait penggunaan media video pembelajaran pada materi sejarah dengan menggunakan penyebaran kuesioner dan wawancara secara langsung di SMA Negeri 10 Palembang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Analisis kebutuhan dilakukan dengan memperhatikan penggunaan media selama proses pembelajaran di dalam kelas, pada penelitian ini menggunakan angket atau kuesioner dengan data kualitatif yang tersebar melalui Google Form. Hasil analisis 28 peserta didik menjawab dari kelas X SMA Negeri 10 Palembang, menunjukkan bahwa 72,4% peserta didik menyatakan minat dan membutuhkan  penggunaan media video dalam pembelajaran Sejarah, Sebanyak 91,4% siswa juga menyatakan minat yang sama, menunjukkan kebutuhan yang signifikan akan pengembangan media tersebut dalam pembelajaran Sejarah. Hasil dari analisis yang telah dilakukan bahwa peserta didik lebih tertarik dengan pembelajaran menggunakan teknologi seperti halnya penerapan media video pembelajaran pada pembelajaran sejarah. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat mengembangkan media pembelajaran terutama penggunaan video pembelajaran sebagai media yang menarik dan efektif pada pembelajaran sejarah.
