Abstract

Seaweed is a superior commodity for aquaculture and has the largest production among other superior commodities. The factor that influences the success of seaweed cultivation is the selection of seeds, using good quality seeds because it can increase seaweed production. Therefore, seaweed produced through tissue culture techniques has the advantages and disadvantages of being able to be cultivated in turbid waters, being able to survive at low salinity and being resistant to high rainfall. Meanwhile, to make it more focused, an administrative concept is needed in it regarding management and implementation, so you will see in this journal a very clear administrative approach. The results of the research showed that the stages of the seaweed tissue culture technique started from broodstock acclimatization, sterilization test of the esplank thallus, callus induction, regeneration of embryogenic callus into micropropagules, regeneration of micropropagules into propagules (Plantlets), and maintenance of plantlets. The problem that usually occurs in seaweed tissue culture is human error. This can create sterility during the culture process, so that microorganisms can enter and contaminate the explants. In addition, the entry of microorganisms can be caused by the hole where the hose enters being too wide so that air from outside which may contain microorganisms can enter. The holes created can also cause evaporation or evaporation of sea water so that the salinity rate increases. Another situation that occurs is a lack of air supply from aeration because the internal capacity of the blower which supplies air is weak and uneven. This can cause the explants to accumulate and stick to the walls of the bottle so that nutrient absorption is hampered

Abstract

Election practices for people with visual disabilities are still not implemented ideally. Various problems occur when people with visual disabilities vote at polling stations. This research aims to analyze how the advocacy carried out by Pertuni DKI Jakarta is related to the rights of blind people to vote at polling stations in the 2019 Election. Participating in elections is the right of every Indonesian citizen, including visually impaired. The existence of political rights to vote at polling stations for people with visual disabilities has been regulated in statutory regulations. However, fulfilling the political rights of people with visual disabilities is still considered inadequate, so it is necessary to fulfill these rights through disability organizations, namely Persatuan Tunanetra Indonesia (Pertuni). It can be done by conducting advocacy. To support this research, researchers used qualitative methods to interpret and analyze data in more depth from a broad and subjective perspective. This research also has a novelty in that it looks at advocacy for the rights of people with disabilities from the perspective of blind people in the Pertuni organization. As a result, this research found that the advocacy carried out by Pertuni was related to the rights of people with disabilities to vote at polling stations in the form of joint hearings with the Electoral Commission

Abstract

Depok City is one of the areas that shows that there are still problems related to money politics. Urban Policy research through a survey of 800 respondents from 11 sub-districts in Depok City revealed that the vulnerability and threat of money politics and negative campaigns still tend to be high. This study aims to analyze the role of the Depok City Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) in preventing money politics in the 2024 legislative election and highlight what factors hinder Bawaslu in preventing and handling money politics. This research uses institutional theory and the concept of participatory supervision to identify problems and findings in the prevention of money politics. The object of this study is the role and authority of the Depok City Bawaslu in taking action to prevent money political practices in the 2024 legislative election. The method used is a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collection techniques in the form of in-depth interviews and literature studies. The results of this study show that money politics still haunts the holding of the 2024 legislative elections caused by several factors, namely regulatory loopholes in legal subjects, limited regulations and authority of the Depok City Bawaslu, the community's persimive attitude towards the practice of money politics, and the Gakkumdu center which is still an obstacle to the performance of the Depok City Bawaslu. So to overcome this problem, a central role is needed for the Depok City Bawaslu as an election supervisory institution in preventing and handling election violations, especially money. The research emphasizes the detrimental impact of money politics on democracy, including its effects on representation, accountability, and the relationship between leaders and people. This research reveals that there are still challenges faced in implementation, such as regulatory gaps that need to be corrected and increased effectiveness in dealing with existing obstacles. This research highlights the importance of updating regulations related to money politics and increasing effectiveness in its implementation in the field.
