Abstract

This research aims to identify the influence of the health information system (SIK) and work motivation on employee satisfaction and performance at the Surabaya City Health Service Community Health Center, with job satisfaction as a mediating variable. This research uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. Data was collected through questionnaires distributed to 317 respondents selected using cluster techniques random sampling. Data analysis was carried out using a Structural Equation Model (SEM) based on Partial Least Square (PLS) to test the research hypothesis. The research results show that GIC has no effect on satisfaction. Work motivation was found to have a significant influence on job satisfaction. Motivated employees tend to have higher job satisfaction, driven by factors such as recognition, responsibility, and advancement opportunities. Apart from that, this research found that SIK did not have a significant effect on employee performance but work motivation had a positive effect on employee performance. Job satisfaction was also found to have a significant effect on employee performance, indicating that satisfied employees tend to have better performance. Job satisfaction is not proven to mediate the influence of SIK on employee performance, but it does mediate the influence of work motivation on employee performance. This research provides practical implications for Puskesmas management and policy makers in the health sector to focus on developing effective SIK and programs to increase work motivation to increase employee satisfaction and performance. The results of this research also provide theoretical contributions by enriching the literature on the influence of SIK and work motivation on individual performance in the context of health service organizations.

Abstract

The free use of the internet in the work environment has become a common phenomenon, including in the work environment of law enforcement officers such as the Police. This can disrupt concentration and work productivity. This research aims to determine and analyze the role of self-control in the cyberloafing behavior of employees at the Simalungun Police Department using descriptive quantitative research methods. The population in this study was 557 consisting of Simalungun Police police staff employees. Meanwhile, the number of samples in this research was 85 with a sampling technique using the Sloving formula. Data collection techniques as a tool for collecting research data at research locations using observation, questionnaires, and documentation. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique used is the Outer Model, Inner Model, and parametric statistical tests with the help of the Partial Least Square (PLS-SEM) computer program to analyze the relationship between self-control variables and cyberloafing behavior. The research results show a positive relationship between self-control and cyberloafing behavior (r=0.497 and p<0.05), as evidenced by the r square inner model calculation results. The calculated t value is also 9.299, has exceeded the t value (table) of 1.96, and the significance is 0.000, namely <0.05. Therefore, it can be concluded that self-control among Simalungun Police Staff Members has a posi

Abstract

In Indonesia, public services, especially in passport issuance, are often highlighted due to various problems such as long queues, slow services, and unclear information. This study examines the relationship between public happiness and the overarching goals of employee competency and e-Government-based public service innovation (M-Passport) in relation to passport-making services at immigration offices, with trust serving as a mediating variable. The urgency of this research is to understand how service innovation and employee competency can enhance public satisfaction and trust in government services. The purpose of this research is to analyze the elements of public service innovation, employee capability, public satisfaction, and trust using quantitative methodologies with an associative approach. The research method involves data analysis using Partial Least Squares (PLS) with SmartPLS software version 3. The findings indicate that service innovation does not significantly impact trust, but it significantly increases public satisfaction. Employee capability does not significantly affect community satisfaction; however, it has a positive and significant effect on trust. Trust has a major impact on public happiness. The study concludes that service innovation and employee competency are crucial factors in enhancing public satisfaction and trust, particularly regarding passport-making services at immigration offices. These findings highlight the importance of trust in mediating the relationship between service innovation and public satisfaction, as well as the critical role of employee competency in strengthening public trust in government services.

Abstract

There will be many changes in various sectors throughout the industrial revolution 4.0, whether prepared or not. The business world is one that will be affected by this development. With the development of this technology, people cannot avoid the ease of carrying out financial transactions. In the Sibolga City area, especially Sibolga Square, the use of QRIS is still very minimal because MSMEs still do not know more about the use of QRIS. The aim of this research is to find out what are the opportunities and obstacles to using the QRIS payment system for the development of MSMEs in Sibolga Square. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods. The data source used is primary data, namely information sourced from interviews with MSME actors in Sibolga Square, while secondary data is data obtained through searching various references that are related or already available and collected by other parties. Based on the results of research that has been carried out, it can be concluded that QRIS makes it easier for MSMEs and consumers to carry out transactions, by using QR technology the payment process is faster and more efficient, reduces cashier queue times and speeds up customer turnaround. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors are that MSME players do not yet understand how the QRIS system is used, then there are problems with an unstable internet network in carrying out transactions, as well as a merchant discount rate (MDR) fee of 0.07% which is applied to traders.

Abstract

Ensuring safe working environment, reducing accident risks and safeguarding the workers and communities’ health are critical in construction projects. Customer satisfaction of Occupational Health, Safety and Environment is essential to project success since satisfied consumers are more likely to trust and loyal to contractor. WEGE has experienced client satisfaction issues over the last two years, including subpar job quality and project delays. Occupational Health & Safety and Environment performance data demonstrate the existence of workplace accidents, which must be addressed to improve customer satisfaction and ensure business operations sustainability. Direct survey approach was employed in this study to collect samples from current populations. The population comprises 169 people who are clients of the building construction project, both internally and externally. Utilizing proportionate stratified random sampling with a sample size of 119 respondents, the sampling methodology applies the Slovin formula. Using the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) approach, the findings indicated that 79.17% of the total satisfaction was rated satisfactory. The Occupational Health, Safety and Environment report's orderly administration indicator had the largest gap analysis result (-0,24), while the rubbish and waste management indicator had the lowest gap value (-0,59). It is interpreted that the higher the gap score, the greater the priority for attribute improvement. The spider chart's outcome illustrates that relevance of performance level remains higher than it is currently. Specifically, the "Occupational Health, Safety and Environment report administration order" criterion has the lowest value. Consequently, the order of project report administration prior to the project's commencement is recommended as a means of enhancing customer satisfaction with the Occupational Health, Safety and Environment building construction projects aspect.
