Abstract

Majority of parents assumes that reading, writing, and counting as a child's literacy ability, therefore they measure the success of PAUD with the success of children being able to read or count in the early childhood. However, literacy is not limited to the ability to read, write and count, but also emergent literacy which refers to what children learn before they are able to read and write. Therefore, emergent literacy is the foundation for higher literacy skills including reading, writing and more complex language comprehension. The method used in this study is descriptive statistics, through filling out a Guttman scale containing 16 statements filled out by pre-school teachers/parents. The results obtained from this study is high score of emergent literacy due to the influence of active social interaction by children with their peers, and other adults, which proves that activeness in social interaction will further improve early childhood literacy.

Abstract

This research aims to improve student learning outcomes in the History of Islamic Culture subject by using the Quick on The Draw cooperative learning model in class VII A MTs Assunniyyah Tambarangan. This research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) which consists of 2 cycles which each cycle consists of four stages, namely: planning, implementation, observation and reflection. This Classroom Action Research (PTK) used data collection instruments in the form of observation sheets, test questions and documentation. The results of this research showed that the learning outcomes of students in the History of Islamic Culture subject by applying the Quick on The Draw cooperative learning model have increased, as seen from the percentage of classical learning result before implementation is 44% with an average score of 63, after using Quick on The Draw cooperative learning model, classical learning result in cycle I increased to 68% with an average value of 73 and continued to cycle II, experiencing another increase reaching 92% with an average value of 80.6. In this way, the quick on the draw cooperative learning model can improve the learning outcomes of students in the Islamic Cultural History subject.

Abstract

Pada sebuah pembelajaran salah satu komponen yang tidak kalah penting adalah materi. Penyajian materi pembelajaran kepada siswa haruslah memenuhi kriteria- penyajian materi seperti kesesuaian dengan tingkat perkembangan perkembangan kognitif agar materi mudah diterima dan tujuan pembelajaran dapat tercapai. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kepustakaan (library research) dalam bidang pendidikan Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesesuaian penyajian materi Bahasa Arab Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Kelas 1 dengan teori perkembangan kognitif Jean Piaget. Melalui teknik deskriptif analisis, penelitian ini menghasilkan temuan bahwa materi Bahasa Arab Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Kelas 1sudah sesuai dengan tahap perkembangan kognitif peserta didik yaitu tahap operasional konkret (7-11 tahun) berdasarkan teori Jean Piaget.

Abstract

Pendidikan Islam pada dasarnya merupakan upaya pembinaan dan pengembangan potensi manusia agar tujuan kehadirannya di dunia ini sebagai hamba Allah dan sekaligus khalifah Allah tercapai sebaik mungkin. Potensi yang dimaksud meliputi potensi jasmaniah dan rohaniah seperti akal, perasaan dan kehendak dan aspek rohaniah lainnya. Dalam wujudnya pendidikan Islam dapat menjadi upaya umat secara bersama, atau upaya lembaga kemasyarakatan yang memberikan jasa pendidikan bahkan dapat pula menjadi usaha manusia itu sendiri untuk mendidik dirinya sendiri. Tujuan pendidikan, baik pendidikan umum ataupun pendidikan agama selalu mengidealkan terciptanya sikap anak didik menjadi dewasa, yakni dewasa intelektualnya, dewasa emosionalnya, lebih-lebih dewasa spritualnya Istilah dekadensi moral adalah terdiri dari dua kata, yaitu dekadensi dan moral, dekadensi berarti kemunduran, kemerosotan, (tentang kebudayaan, kesenian dan akhlak), Sedangkan moralitas adalah sebuah pranata seperti halnya agama, politik, bahasa dan sebagainya yang sudah ada sejak dahulu kala dan diwariskan secara turun temurun. Menghadapi tatanan modern saat ini untuk mencegah tejadinya dekadensi moral bagi generasi muda, pembinaan genearsi muda melalui pendidikan Islam sangat dibutuhkan.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe the management of early childhood education (PAUD) learning based on processes of planning, organizing, implementing, and monitoring. The research approach used qualitative case study at KB Tunas Harapan, Sumenep Regency. By utilizing document study techniques, observation, and interviews with the foundation chairman, school principal, and teachers. The data obtained are analyzed descriptively through stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that KB Tunas Harapan manages learning through several stages. In the learning planning process, the school pours it into annual, semester, weekly, and daily activity plans. In organizing, KB Tunas Harapan assigns tasks to personnel to be responsible for implementing the grouping of prepared materials. In the implementation process, KB Tunas Harapan students' learning is carried out using various methods of delivery, from storytelling to question and answer, while still referring to the planned materials. In the monitoring process, KB Tunas Harapan involves the school principal and the foundation chairman through comparing achievement evaluations with the established plans. If there is any failure to achieve, corrective action will be taken as a basis for improvement in the learning process in the following year.

Abstract

One of the factors that determines the success of the learning process is the teacher. Competency is a set of knowledge, skill, behavior that must be possessed, internalized and mastered by a teacher in carrying out professional duties. This research aims to determine efforts to improve learning outcomes of moral beliefs using the example non example model for class VIII students at MTs SA Miftahul Ulum. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). This research was carried out collaboratively between teachers and observers. This research includes four stages, namely, planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The types of instruments used to produce or collect data are student learning outcomes tests, teacher and student observation guided sheets. The result of the research of the example non example model increased student learning outcomes. In cycle one obtained 71.53, in cycle two obtained 80.76, as well as teacher activity in carrying out learning. In this way, the example non example learning model can improve student learning outcomes in the subject of akidah akhlak.

Abstract

Early age is a potential period for learning for children. Various knowledge can be taught from an early age, one of which is about sex education and prevention efforts. It is very important to convey an understanding of sexual prevention to children, so that children can know what body parts other people can and cannot touch. The singing method is one method that children really like and enjoy. The song "Touch is Allowed" is an educational medium used by teachers at Budi Mulia Kindergarten as a form of providing understanding about sex education and sexual prevention for children in Kindergarten. The research method used is qualitative research, with the research subjects being the school principal, teachers and children at Budi Mulia Kindergarten. The data collection methods used were observation and interviews. This research aims to describe the implementation of the song "Touch is Allowed" as an educational medium in preventing sexual abuse of children at Budi Mulia Kindergarten, Daha Utara Kandangan District. The results of the research show that the implementation of the song "touch is allowed" as an educational medium for sexual prevention in children is effective. This can be seen when children are able to remind friends who do bad things and immediately reprimand them by singing the song "touch is allowed" and children feel happy singing the song "touch is allowed" as an educational medium for sexual prevention in kindergarten

Abstract

Pondok pesantren mempunyai peran penting untuk pendidikan dan pengembangan karakter santri di Indonesia. Salah satu aspek penting dalam pendidikan di pondok pesantren adalah pengajaran Al-Qur’an, termasuk hafalan (tahfidz) Al-Qur’an. Pondok Pesantren Sakinah Insan Qurani Ciputat ialah salah satu lembaga pendidikan yang fokus pada pengajaran tahfidz Al-Qur’an. Untuk mencapai tujuan ini, Ponpes tersebut mengimplementasikan berbagai metode tahfidz untuk meningkatkan kualitas hafalan Al-Qur’an santrinya. Pendekatan penelitiannya memakai penelitian kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Penelitian kualitatif yaitu proses dalam penemuan dan pengumpulan, analisis dan menginterpretasikan data visual dan naratif yang komprehensif agar dapat memperoleh pemahaman terkait suatu peristiwa atau masalah yang dapat menarik perhatian. Subjek dalam penelitian ini, yaitu santri yang mengikuti kegiatan tahfidz di Ponpes Sakinah Insan Qurani. Teknik pengumpulan datanya yaitu melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa metode tahfidz yang dilakukan, diantaranya yaitu metode sima’i, metode muraja’ah, dan metode talaqqi. Dimana ketiga metode ini sangat efektif atau sangat berpengaruh dalam peningkatan hafalan santri di Ponpes Sakinah Insan Qurani. Ada faktor pendukung dalam proses menghafal santri, yaitu adanya peran guru, orang tua, serta sarana dan prasarana yang memadai. Sementara, faktor penghambatnya yaitu pada santrinya yang kurang menghargai pentingnya menghafal dan muraja’ah, kurangnya dukungan dari orang, serta kurangnya memanajemen waktu.

Abstract

Learning media development serves as a means to facilitate understanding among students, especially in the context of academic activities. This research uses R&D methodology, which is a type of development research. The development model used is the 4-D model (Define, Design, Development, Disseminate), with data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observations, documentation, and questionnaires. The results of this study indicate that (1) product development at the Define stage, researchers analyzed the needs, materials, and characteristics of students; (2) The feasibility of organ apron learning media is determined from the results of material expert validation in the final stage which obtained 93.75% with the criteria “Very Feasible”, while the results of media expert validation in the final stage obtained a feasibility percentage of 94.04% with the criteria “Very Feasible”; (3) The teacher's response to the organ apron media scored 96.87%, while the trial with 25 students scored 90.65% including in the “Very Good” category. Thus, it can be stated that students give positive responses to the organ apron learning media.
