The method used in this research is a descriptive method, namely describing or illustrating events that are currently occurring using non-experimental methods using survey techniques (Hasan Syahrizal, 2023). An overview of the level of knowledge of handling sports injuries using the RICE method at the Banjar Regency Sports Teachers Association was 158 respondents, with details of a very high classification of 44 people with a percentage of 28%, a high classification of 105 people. people with a percentage of 66%, 9 people in the medium classification with a percentage of 6%, and 0% in the low and very low classification. The high results were because previously the Banjar Regency Sports Teachers Association had taken training in handling injuries and first aid in accidents. The Banjar Regency Sports Teachers Association, apart from being physical education, sports and health teachers, also has other professions such as coaches, referees, personal trainers, athletes, sports instructors and therapists. This research provides information to the Banjar Regency sports teacher association about handling Sports Injuries so that they can understand and apply injury treatment and prevent further injuries using the RICE Method. In addition, this research activity can improve and expand understanding of the treatment of sports injuries, as well as contribute to scientific studies in the field of sports science.

This study aims to analyze the role of organizing the Tour de Borobudur for the Host City from the government’s perspective, both in terms of economic growth and social legacy. The research method used is descriptive quantitative, using an analytical approach and collecting questionnaire data and interviews with ten respondents from relevant government stakeholders. 90.19% (n=3.6) of informants responded positively, meaning the government regarded an economic increase from organizing the Tour de Borobudur. Promoting local potential, increasing micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), and rising regional retribution revenue have multiplier effects on the economic sector. Also, 90% (n=3.6) of informants responded positively that these activities can influence social legacies, such as increasing interest in cycling sports and improving communication skills, hospitality & tourist management, and increasing the human side of the community. The government plays a role as a facilitator by providing venues, providing budgets, providing security personnel, and becoming participants or just supporters of Tour de Borobudur. The government considers organizing this competition as a medium for developing sports tourism and increasing regional income through sports tourism.

Abstract

Research and publications on positive youth development through sport instruction have been widely conducted in various countries. However, this trend does not always reflect the existing conditions. In fact, positive youth development through sport has a significant positive impact on the younger generation. This study aims to analyze the visualization metrics of publications on positive youth development through sport over the past ten years (2013-2023) using the literature review method. Examination using Scopus through the Publish or Perish (PoP) application found only twelve articles (out of a total of 74 articles) that met the VOSviewer visualization analysis criteria. The results of the study showed that the highest publications occurred in 2021 with 56 citations, and in 2018 with 55 citations from two articles each year. VOSviewer visualization confirms that positive youth development through sport instruction has great potential to be further developed with other terms, so that it can more effectively meet the needs of the younger generation. This study presents the results of computational bibliometric mapping of data published in research articles. Future research could consider broader aspects of PYD teaching and link it to other terms to enhance the various aspects that support positive adolescent development.

Abstract

The goalkeeper is a position in soccer where the player is allowed to use their hands to catch or deflect the ball, as long as it is within the penalty area. The goalkeeper’s role is crucial to the team, as they are responsible for preventing the ball from entering the goal, which is the main objective of the game. This research was conducted with the aim of improving the goalkeeper’s reaction time in handling match situations that often require quick and accurate decision-making. The method used in this study is a quantitative experimental approach with a one-group pre-test and post-test design. The research revealed that there was a significant improvement in the goalkeeper’s reaction time after modifying the training equipment used. At the pre-test stage, the goalkeeper recorded an average score of 29.50, while at the post-test stage, the average score increased to 54.33. This increase indicates that the modification of the training equipment has a significant effect on improving the goalkeeper’s reaction. This improvement in reaction ability is very important because it can improve goalkeepers’ performance in real matches, helping them make faster and more precise decisions in decisive situations, so the effectiveness of the training tool modification used in this study can be recognized as one of the important factors in goalkeeper skill development.

Abstract

Passing drills using wall media are used as a tool for practicing passing in soccer games. In this study, the author aims to improve soccer passing learning outcomes. The research aims to determine the extent to which passing ability in soccer games can be improved through the use of wall media at elemtary school 122 Leboni. This study is classroom action research involving 15 fifth-grade students from elemtary school 122 Leboni as the research subjects. This Classroom Action Research (CAR) aims to improve passing ability in soccer games through the use of wall media. The research is designed in two cycles: Cycle I and Cycle II. In the design of this research, two cycles will be conducted, and each cycle consists of four stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The instruments used include the Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) and observation sheets. The RPP is used as a basis for the implementation of soccer learning practices using wall media. The focus of the research data is on passing ability, with the data source being fifth-grade students at elemtary school 122 Leboni. Based on the results and discussions presented, it shows that through the use of wall media, the passing ability in soccer games among fifth-grade students at elemtary school 122 Leboni has improved. Data analysis indicates a significant improvement in passing ability. In Cycle I, the passing success rate of fifth-grade students at elemtary school 122 Leboni was 67%, which increased to 100% in Cycle II. The conclusion is that the use of wall media is effective in improving students’ passing ability in soccer games.

Abstract

Background: Forward Head Posture (FHP) is a prevalent postural misalignment associated with various musculoskeletal and functional disorders. Accurate assessment of FHP is crucial for effective diagnosis and treatment. The Craniovertebral Angle (CVA) test is commonly utilized to quantify the degree of FHP, but its reliability remains a topic of interest. Objective: This study aims to evaluate the reliability of CVA testing in assessing FHP by analyzing intra-rater and inter-rater consistency in clinical settings. Methods: Studies were selected based on specific inclusion criteria, including those with defined methods for measuring CVA and reporting on reliability statistics. Data were extracted and synthesized to determine the overall reliability of CVA testing. Results: The analysis revealed that CVA testing demonstrates high intra-rater reliability with intraclass correlation coefficients (ICCs) 0.98. Inter-rater reliability also showed strong consistency, with ICCs 0.95. Variability in reliability was observed based on methodological differences, including measurement techniques and rater experience. Conclusion: CVA testing is a reliable method for assessing Forward Head Posture, with high intra-rater and inter-rater consistency. This reliability supports the use of CVA measurements by using clinometer for evaluating FHP. However, standardization of measurement protocols and rater training are recommended to further enhance reliability and accuracy.
