Abstract

Courses related to procedural law are practicum courses with Course Learning Outcomes (CLO)/ Capaian Pembelajaran Mata Kuliah (CPMK) students who can simulate trials in court. In this case, the moot courtroom's urgency is to provide an infrastructure for students to conduct moot trials. One of the practicum courses is the Constitutional Court's Judicial Procedural Law. Students who take this course must be competent and able to practice in the objective realm of justice. However, based on the observation and tracing results, the service activities' partners do not have a moot courtroom in the constitutional court, so they cannot carry out moot court in the course. Digital/virtual space, known as Metaverse, is a solution for procuring infrastructure for the constitutional court's moot courtroom. The results of this service show that the Metaverse Moot Court of the Constitutional Court is an appropriate technology-based product that is the only quick solution to the absence and limitations of the Constitutional Court's moot courtroom at Partner universities. Partners do not need to spend millions to billions of Rupiahs to procure facilities and infrastructure for the Constitutional Court's moot courtroom. In addition, this product is a solution to time constraints, considering that the campus has operational hours while students are still required to be proficient in practicing proceedings at the Constitutional Court. Finally, the virtual reality technology product implemented in this pseudo-courtroom provides an immersive experience like the real atmosphere in the courtroom. It makes students more excited and increases motivation to practice the trial.

Abstract

Nazir as the party who received the mandate to receive and manage waqf land faced several problems related to waqf land. These problems are that the waqf land has not been certified, the waqf land is in dispute, the waqf land has been lost/controlled by another party. This problem occurs because the practice of waqf land is carried out verbally on the basis of mutual trust, the waqf pledge has not been made before PPAIW, the waqf pledge deed has not been processed, the waqf land has not been registered, and the waqf land has not been utilized according to the waqf pledge. Through community service activities, Nazir's capacity was increased through literacy in land waqf law. Legal literacy includes the land waqf process and waqf land registration. The legal act of donating land must be carried out according to the Waqf Law, carried out before an authorized official and the waqf land is registered at the Land Office. The waqf pledge must be made in front of the Waqf Pledge Deed Registrar to be recorded in the Waqf Pledge Deed. The Waqf Pledge Deed is written evidence in land registration at the Land Office, as the basis for issuing a Waqf Land Certificate. Waqf Land Certificates are issued to create legal certainty and legal protection for land waqf. The regulation of land waqf in the Waqf Law and its implementing regulations further confirms waqf as an important and useful institution for efforts to realize community welfare, in line with the goals of state life.

Abstract

Religious radicalism poses a significant threat to social harmony and security, especially in rural communities where access to educational resources and legal guidance can be limited. This study, explores the use of Islamic recitation groups (pengajian) as a platform for preventing the spread of religious radicalism in Blumbungan Village, Pamekasan. The research focuses on empowering the community, Quran teachers, and local officials through legal counseling and training to build a comprehensive understanding of Islam and to identify early signs of radicalism. The activity aims to train the general public, religious educators, and village officials to understand Islam in its entirety, emphasizing tolerance and the importance of protecting the community from extremist ideologies. The method centers around two main activities: first, providing training to deepen participants’ understanding of Islam, and second, assisting the community in detecting and addressing the spread of radical Islam. These efforts help ensure that individuals can recognize extremist ideologies early and prevent their influence, protecting the village from potential religious extremism. Implemented over three months, the community service activities in Blumbungan Village have shown significant impact, enhancing the community’s capacity to independently prevent the spread of radicalism. The collaboration between the village government and Islamic recitation groups proves to be an effective approach to countering radical ideologies at the village level. This study contributes to the broader effort to strengthen local resistance against radical Islamism by leveraging legal education and religious practice, ultimately fostering a more resilient, tolerant, and united community.

Abstract

This study explores the optimization of the Online Single Submission (OSS) system, specifically the Risk-Based Approach (RBA), to accelerate business licensing for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Kebojongan Village, which is home to various small businesses in the fields of convection, food production, bakery, and more. In order to operate legally, these businesses require several permits, such as the Business Identification Number (NIB), which can be processed through the OSS RBA system. However, many MSME owners in Kebojongan Village lack knowledge regarding the importance and ease of registering for business permits, which hinders the formalization and growth of their businesses. The research aims to address this issue by increasing community awareness and skills related to the OSS system, thereby simplifying the business licensing process and fostering economic development in the village. With the NIB, MSMEs can easily obtain other essential permits, including business legality certifications, Indonesian National Standards (SNI), and Halal Product Guarantee Certificates. The service activities include interviews, counseling, mentoring, and evaluations on the use of OSS RBA and NIB registration, focusing on overcoming challenges such as forgotten passwords or registration errors. This service intervention aims to improve the adoption of the OSS system, enabling MSMEs in Kebojongan Village to complete the necessary licensing process with ease, supporting their growth and contributing to local economic development. By enhancing understanding and accessibility of the OSS platform, this initiative hopes to facilitate the accelerated development of business licensing for micro-enterprises in Kebojongan Village.

Abstract

Land disputes are a significant issue in Bumiaji Village, Batu City, East Java, due to the community's low legal literacy and limited involvement of local stakeholders. Lack of understanding of formal legal procedures, the importance of land certification, and disharmony between customary and national laws have made it difficult to resolve land conflicts. This research aims to improve community legal literacy by considering the local context and strengthening the involvement of local stakeholders in land dispute resolution. The method used was Participatory Action Research (PAR), which actively involved communities and local stakeholders in problem identification, program design, and evaluation. The results showed that a locally-based approach that integrates customary and national laws was successful in improving community understanding of their legal rights and obligations, as well as encouraging participation in formal dispute resolution. In addition, the involvement of village officials, traditional leaders, and the National Land Agency in the dispute resolution process was able to create a more inclusive and equitable solution. The research concludes that legal literacy and synergy between local actors are key to resolving land disputes effectively and sustainably.
