Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of work motivation and the physical work environment on the performance of employees at PT. PLN (Persero) UP3 Bima, both partially and simultaneously. The research is associative in nature and applies a quantitative approach. A saturated sampling technique was used, comprising 61 employees. Data were collected through a questionnaire based on a five-point Likert scale and analysed using validity and reliability tests, classical assumption test as well as multiple linear regression processed with SPSS version 26. The findings reveal that work motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, the physical work environment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, and jointly both variables significantly affect the performance of employees at PT. PLN (Persero) UP3 Bima. The coefficient of determination indicates that most of the variation in employee performance is explained by work motivation and the physical work environment, while the remainder is influenced by other factors outside the model. These results confirm that improving employee performance requires strengthening internal work drive and enhancing the physical conditions of the workplace simultaneously.

Abstract

Abstract

The advancement of digital technology has accelerated the flow of information but has also increased the spread of disinformation, which threatens democracy, equality, adherence to the rule of law, and national resilience. This conceptual, literature-based article aims to analyze the implementation of national values derived from the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia as a strategy to counter disinformation in the pursuit of "Golden Indonesia 2045." The study employs a critical analysis of relevant scholarly literature, legislation, government documents, and prior research findings. The results indicate that the value of democracy is realized through critical and responsible public participation in the digital space; the value of equality is upheld by respecting every citizen's right to access and convey information fairly and without discrimination; and the value of adherence to the rule of law is manifested through compliance with the constitution, legislation, and digital media ethics. Strengthening media and information literacy, ensuring consistent law enforcement, and fostering multi-stakeholder collaboration are crucial strategies for building a healthy digital space, reinforcing national resilience, and supporting the realization of Golden Indonesia 2045.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of variables within the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) and the Technology Threat Avoidance Theory (TTAT), integrated through an IS Dual Factor approach, on Generative AI usage intention among users in the Jabodetabek region, addressing a gap in prior research that has tended to examine enabling and inhibiting factors along separate trajectories despite users experiencing these dual pulls simultaneously in practice, and thereby demonstrating the relevance of the IS Dual Factor framework, which treats the two sets of determinants as distinct yet concurrently operating constructs. A quantitative survey method was employed involving 200 respondents domiciled in Jabodetabek who possess knowledge of and/or experience using Generative AI technology, with data collected through an online questionnaire from September 2025 to April 2026 and analyzed using Covariance-Based Structural Equation Modeling (CB-SEM) via IBM AMOS, encompassing Confirmatory Factor Analysis and structural model testing. The results indicate that all six hypotheses were supported, with Performance Expectancy (β = 0.564) and Facilitating Conditions (β = 0.566) emerging as the strongest predictors, followed by Effort Expectancy (β = 0.379) and Social Influence (β = 0.243), which also exerted significant positive effects, while on the inhibiting side Perceived Threats (β = −0.277) significantly reduced usage intention and Perceived Avoidability (β = 0.287) functioned as a buffer attenuating this negative effect, collectively demonstrating that integrating UTAUT and TTAT within an IS Dual Factor framework yields a more comprehensive predictive model than unidimensional approaches for explaining Generative AI usage intention among Indonesia's urban population.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the importance of employee work productivity in supporting the achievement of production targets in the garment industry. PT Intigarmindo Persada, a company engaged in the garment manufacturing industry, requires high employee productivity to achieve its production targets and maintain product quality. Based on the observations, some employees perceived that the compensation they received was not commensurate with their job responsibilities and that their workload was relatively high. These conditions were considered to affect employee work productivity. This study employed a quantitative research method. Data were collected through observation, questionnaires, and literature review. The population consisted of 50 employees in the Quality Control Division, all of whom were selected as the sample using the saturated sampling technique. The data were analyzed using validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, t-tests, F-tests, and the coefficient of determination with the assistance of IBM SPSS. The results showed that compensation had a positive and significant effect on employee work productivity. Workload also had a positive and significant effect on employee work productivity. Simultaneously, compensation and workload had a positive and significant effect on employee work productivity, with a coefficient of determination of 47.7%, while the remaining 52.3% was influenced by other factors that were not examined in this study.

Abstract

This study focuses on the application of the banking prudential principle regarding bank employees acting as credit initiators. Credit disbursement procedures rely on the authority of both the credit initiator and the credit approver. The study examines the corruption case registered as Number 171/Pid.Sus-Tpk/2022/PN.Sby. Law Number 10 of 1998 concerning Banking mandates that all bank employees must apply the prudential principle in banking transactions. The case chronology reveals that the defendant engaged in fraudulent activity by orchestrating the disbursement of fictitious customer loans in collusion with other parties for personal gain. The research addresses two issues: first, the application of the prudential principle by the credit initiator in their capacity as the credit processor; and second, an analysis of the involvement of the credit initiator and the credit approver based on the court ruling, alongside an analysis of the fraudulent actions. This study employs statutory, conceptual, and case study research approaches.
