Abstract

In a landscape marked by increasing rivalry within the coffee shop industry, fostering client loyalty has become a vital business need. This research seeks to evaluate the influence of experience marketing and customer value on customer loyalty, with customer satisfaction serving as a mediating variable, particularly among Starbucks patrons in Indonesia. This research used a quantitative approach using an online survey conducted with 180 individuals, chosen by purposive selection. Data analysis was performed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) approach, utilizing AMOS software for analytical functions. The analytical findings indicated that experience marketing substantially impacts consumer pleasure; nevertheless, it does not directly affect customer loyalty. Conversely, consumer value significantly influences both customer satisfaction and customer loyalty. Nonetheless, customer happiness does not have a substantial impact on customer loyalty, nor does it function as a mediator in the interaction among experiential marketing, customer value, and customer loyalty. The results indicate that while the combination of great experiences and perceived value might improve consumer happiness, they are inadequate for cultivating enduring loyalty. The divergence between visual expectations and emotional considerations is a substantial impediment to the development of loyalty. Consequently, coffee shop owners are encouraged to implement a comprehensive plan that constantly integrates emotional, functional, and visual elements to enhance long-term client loyalty.

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of Product Quality and Price on Purchase Intention with Brand Trust as a mediating variable among broiler chicken consumers of PT Surya Sri Jati (SSJ) in Lamongan. Using a quantitative approach, descriptive method, and SEM-PLS analysis, data were collected via questionnaires from 125 respondents selected through purposive sampling. Results show that Product Quality significantly affects both Purchase Intention and Brand Trust. Price significantly affects Purchase Intention but has no significant effect on Brand Trust. Brand Trust significantly influences Purchase Intention and partially mediates the relationship between Product Quality and Purchase Intention. However, it does not mediate the relationship between Price and Purchase Intention. These findings highlight the importance of enhancing product quality and building brand trust to strengthen consumer purchase intention, while pricing strategies should aim to better support brand trust development.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of open unemployment rate, education level, and minimum wage on economic growth in East Java Province during the period 2017-2024. The approach used is quantitative with an explanatory research design. The data were analyzed using panel data regression method that includes time dimension and geographical area, and supported by statistical tests to measure the significance of the influence of each variable. The results show that the open unemployment rate has a negative and significant effect on economic growth. In contrast, education level has a positive and significant effect on economic growth. Meanwhile, the minimum wage also has a significant but negative effect on economic growth, indicating that an increase in the minimum wage that is not proportional to productivity can hinder economic growth. Simultaneously, the three independent variables significantly affect economic growth in East Java Province. The R-squared value of 41.80% indicates that the variation in economic growth can be explained by these three variables, while the rest is influenced by other factors outside the model.

Abstract

This study aims to examine in depth the factors that drive Bukittinggi City to become one of the leading tourist destinations in Indonesia. Using a qualitative approach through direct observation methods and semi-structured interviews with tourism industry players, local communities, and tourists, this study explores the contribution of socio-cultural characteristics of communities, geographical conditions, and the role of government to strengthening tourism attractions. The results of the study show that the character of the people of Bukittinggi who are friendly, communicative, and have a collective spirit in welcoming tourists gives a deep impression and creates a positive experience. In addition, the physical beauty of the city surrounded by mountains, valleys, and historical relics is the main attraction that other cities are difficult to match. Iconic places such as Jam Gadang, Sianok Gorge, and the historical site of Lobang Japan add educational and visual value to the city's travel experience. Good accessibility and supporting infrastructure that continues to be developed by the government, such as adequate roads, tourist information centers, and tourist-friendly accommodation, further strengthen Bukittinggi's position in the national tourism map. The study also highlights the importance of digital and social media promotion strategies in reaching younger generations of travelers, especially millennials who are looking for authentic and sustainable travel experiences. The combination of local cultural richness, natural beauty, active community participation, and supportive government policies makes Bukittinggi not only a tourist destination, but also an example of an adaptive and innovative community-based tourist city. Therefore, it is not an exaggeration if Bukittinggi is dubbed as one of the best and most potential tourist destinations in Indonesia.

Abstract

Human Resource Management (HRDM) has a strategic role in managing, directing, and developing employee potential to achieve organizational goals effectively and efficiently. One of the indicators of MSDM's success is the achievement of optimal employee performance. Employee performance is a crucial aspect in ensuring the effectiveness and operational efficiency of the organization, especially in government agencies such as the Jakarta Education Quality Assurance Center (BPMP), which has a mandate to guarantee and improve the quality of education in its area. This study aims to find out the extent of the influence of Leadership Style and Work Motivation on the Performance of BPMP DKI Jakarta Employees. This study uses a quantitative approach with an associative method, which aims to examine the relationship between two independent variables, namely Leadership Style and Work Motivation, to the dependent variable, namely Employee Performance. The data collection technique was carried out through the distribution of questionnaires to 57 respondents determined using the Slovin formula from a total population of 132 employees. The data obtained were analyzed using multiple linear regression with a series of tests such as validity, reliability, classical assumptions (normality, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity tests), and hypothesis tests (t-tests and F tests). The results of the study show that both Leadership Style and Work Motivation have a positive and significant influence on Employee Performance partially. This means that improvements in leadership and work motivation directly have an impact on increasing productivity and the quality of employee performance. These findings indicate that the management of BPMP DKI Jakarta needs to pay greater attention to the development of effective leadership and the creation of a work environment that is able to motivate employees. This research is expected to be a reference for policy makers in designing human resource management strategies that are oriented towards improving performance in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

The Originote is a local skincare brand that has rapidly expanded in the Indonesian market, especially among young consumers seeking affordable yet effective beauty products. The brand has successfully captured public attention through continuous product innovation, minimalist packaging, and effective branding strategies that leverage social media and influencer marketing. However, despite this rapid growth, The Originote faces significant challenges related to consumer trust, particularly due to emerging negative issues surrounding the accuracy of product ingredient claims. These controversies have raised questions about product transparency and may potentially affect customer loyalty in the long term. This study aims to analyze the influence of brand trust and product quality on consumer loyalty, with brand image serving as a mediating variable. The research focuses on consumer perceptions of The Originote, specifically those who shop at Amalia Beauty Store in Kendal. A quantitative research approach was used, with purposive sampling to select 97 respondents who are known users of The Originote products. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire and analyzed using Smart-PLS 4 software for Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results indicate that brand trust has a positive and significant effect on consumer loyalty. However, surprisingly, brand trust does not significantly influence brand image, and neither brand image nor product quality has a direct significant impact on consumer loyalty. Furthermore, brand image does not mediate the relationship between brand trust, product quality, and consumer loyalty. These findings suggest that while trust remains a critical factor in fostering loyalty, other elements—possibly including emotional attachment, personal values, or customer experience—may also play a significant role. The study offers useful insights for marketers seeking to strengthen long-term relationships with consumers in a highly competitive skincare industry.
