Abstract

Customer loyalty is a critical determinant of service sustainability amid increasingly dynamic competition in the online ride-hailing industry. This study aims to examine the effects of service quality, perceived value, and brand image on customer loyalty among Gojek users in Denpasar City. The research employed an associative quantitative approach with purposive sampling of 150 respondents, namely Gojek users residing in Denpasar who used the application at least once a week. Data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire, interviews, and documentation. The research instrument met validity and reliability criteria, and the data were analyzed using multiple linear regression along with classical assumption tests. The results indicate that service quality has a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty (β = 0.240; p < 0.05), perceived value has a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty (β = 0.326; p < 0.05), and brand image has a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty (β = 0.413; p < 0.05). Simultaneously, these three variables explain 69.4% of the variance in customer loyalty (Adjusted R² = 0.694), and the model is considered fit (F = 113.659; p < 0.05). These findings suggest that strengthening brand image, improving service quality, and enhancing customers’ perceived value should be prioritized as key strategies for Gojek to maintain user loyalty in Denpasar City.

Abstract

Productive waqf is an Islamic social finance instrument with significant potential to support sustainable economic development for the community. However, the management of waqf in Indonesia is still dominated by a consumptive approach, resulting in suboptimal economic impacts on the real sector and community empowerment. One strategic sector relevant to the development of productive waqf is the local agricultural sector, particularly in North Sumatra, which has potential land and superior commodities. Integrating waqf with the agricultural sector is expected to create added economic value, improve farmers' welfare, and strengthen regional food security. This study aims to design a business model for productive waqf based on local agricultural commodities using the Business Model Canvas approach. The research method employed is applied qualitative research with a case study on Lumbung Wakaf Sumatera Utara. Data collection was carried out through field observation, in-depth interviews, documentation, and Focus Group Discussions. The results of the study indicate that the management of agricultural waqf still faces limitations in the managerial capacity of nazhir and access to capital.

Abstract

This study examines the role of digitalizing micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) products and services in supporting the development of Setu Babakan as a cultural tourism destination in South Jakarta. The background of this research is the increasing demand for digital-based tourism services alongside the limited digital adoption among cultural-based MSMEs. The objective of this study is to analyze the extent, dynamics, and implications of digitalization implemented by MSMEs in Setu Babakan. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach with a case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, field observations, and documentation. The findings reveal that digitalization contributes positively to expanding promotional reach, improving transaction convenience through non-cash payments, and strengthening destination attractiveness. However, digital adoption remains uneven due to limitations in digital literacy, infrastructure, and continuous assistance. The study implies that integrated digital strategies and sustained stakeholder collaboration are essential to enhance MSME resilience and support sustainable cultural tourism development.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of product quality, brand image, and promotion on purchasing decisions for Honda BeAT motorcycles in Denpasar City. This study uses a quantitative approach with a causality research design to test the causal relationship between variables. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling with a total of 150 respondents, namely Honda BeAT motorcycle users who have income and are domiciled in Denpasar City. Data collection was carried out through the distribution of structured questionnaires compiled using a five-point Likert scale to measure respondents' perceptions of the research variables. The data obtained were then analyzed using multiple linear regression methods to determine the influence of each independent variable on purchasing decisions, both partially and simultaneously. The results showed that product quality, brand image, and promotion had a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions for Honda BeAT motorcycles. Partially, each variable has a real contribution in encouraging consumers to make purchases. Simultaneously, the three variables together have a significant influence on purchasing decisions. These findings indicate that improving product quality, strengthening positive brand image, and implementing effective promotional strategies are important factors in increasing consumer interest and purchasing decisions for the Honda BeAT in Denpasar City.

Abstract

Hotel dependency on digital platforms such as Traveloka continues to increase, whether in setting prices, attracting customers, or managing operations. This study aims to analyze the effect of pricing strategies on hotel performance in Bandung City, with hotel satisfaction as a mediating variable. The research employs a quantitative method using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with a Partial Least Squares (SmartPLS) approach. Data were collected from 30 respondents who are hotel employees using the Traveloka platform. The research instrument was developed based on theoretical indicators and tested through outer loading analysis, validity, reliability, multicollinearity, path analysis, and mediation testing. The results indicate that pricing strategies have a positive and significant effect on hotel satisfaction and company performance. Hotel satisfaction also significantly influences company performance. Furthermore, the mediation test shows that hotel satisfaction partially mediates the relationship between pricing strategies and company performance (p = 0.019). The pricing strategies implemented through Traveloka not only have a direct impact on hotel performance but also an indirect effect through increased partner hotel satisfaction.

Abstract

Creative tourism emerges as an innovative approach to address the challenges of urbanization and the degradation of urban areas. Unlike mass tourism, which tends to be exploitative, creative tourism emphasizes the active involvement of visitors in activities rooted in local culture, arts, and creativity. This study aims to examine the role of creative tourism as a strategy for revitalizing urban areas in Tangerang City. Using a qualitative descriptive-analytical method, data were collected through field observations, interviews with stakeholders, and document analysis. The findings reveal that creative tourism fosters inclusive economic growth by increasing demand for local products, creating opportunities for small and medium enterprises, and generating multiplier effects in supporting sectors such as transportation, accommodation, and services. Moreover, creative tourism contributes to cultural preservation through art festivals, cultural workshops, and traditional performances that strengthen the city’s identity. The revitalization of public spaces and historic areas also enhances urban livability, making the city more attractive to both residents and visitors. The role of local government, multi-stakeholder collaboration, and digital technology support are crucial in strengthening the competitiveness of creative destinations. However, challenges such as cultural over-commercialization, limited creative human resources, and restricted access to financing remain. These issues require balanced, community-based policies to ensure sustainability. Overall, creative tourism proves to be a relevant strategy for sustainable urban development, integrating economic, social, cultural, and environmental dimensions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the determinants of civil servant performance by examining the effects of workload and compensation, with work motivation as a mediating variable, at the Regional Secretariat of South Sumatra Province. The research employed a quantitative approach with an explanatory design to test the proposed hypotheses. The sample was selected using proportional random sampling to ensure representative participation of civil servants across units. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to evaluate both the measurement and structural models. The findings reveal that workload and compensation significantly influence both work motivation and employee performance. Work motivation has a positive and significant effect on performance and serves as a partial mediator in the relationship between workload and compensation on performance. This indicates that appropriate workload management and fair compensation not only directly enhance performance but also indirectly improve it by strengthening employees’ motivation. The R² results demonstrate that the model possesses moderate to strong explanatory power in predicting civil servant performance. Overall, the study underscores the importance of balancing workload distribution and implementing performance-based compensation systems to foster higher motivation and optimize organizational performance.
