Abstract

KSOP Class III Tanjung has a big responsibility in ensuring that the guidance service runs smoothly. However, the realization of the availability of guided facilities and infrastructure is still not in accordance with the state of the field. This study aims to calculate the adequacy level (ideal) of human resources, facilities and infrastructure for ship guidance according to the report of guiding activities. This research is quantitative descriptive with a formula method or an empirical calculation formula of the level of adequacy, used as a reference or reference provided by the Directorate General of Ports. The results of the study show that there is an excess of Human Resources (HR) and Guidance Infrastructure amounting to 2 guides and 1 kepil ship. The factor that affects the calculation of the ideal result is the characteristics of the vessel's guiding area.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the use of SIMON TKBM, identify obstacles in its implementation, and evaluate its impact on the efficiency of loading and unloading activities at Tanjung Perak Port. A quantitative approach was used involving a population consisting of 1480 loading and unloading workers (TKBM) at the port. The research sample was calculated using the Slovin formula with a margin of error of 10%, resulting in a total of 90 representative respondents. Data was collected through a questionnaire with 17 statements and then analyzed using validity, reliability and multiple linear regression tests to identify the relationship between the use of SIMON TKBM, implementation obstacles and its impact on loading and unloading efficiency. Referring to the validity and reliability test results, it shows that all questionnaire items are valid and reliable (Cronbach's Alpha = 0.893). Multiple linear regression analysis shows that the System (X1) and User (X2) variables have a positive effect on Interaction (Y), with the largest contribution coming from the user factor (coefficient = 0.301; significance = 0.003). Meanwhile, the System variable has a low and insignificant influence (coefficient = 0.090; significance = 0.395), which indicates the existence of technical problems in the system. The multiple correlation coefficient value of 0.519 indicates a moderate relationship between the three variables. These findings conclude that the implementation of SIMON TKBM is quite effective in supporting loading and unloading activities, especially with active user support, although technical improvements and identification of other external factors that influence system effectiveness are still needed.

Abstract

Halal fashion in Indonesia continues to experience significant growth along with the increasing Muslim population and awareness of sharia-compliant values. This study aims to analyze strategies to increase consumer interest in halal fashion using the Framework for Chain/Network Development (FCD) approach. Quantitative methods are used, collecting primary data from Muslim consumers in five major cities. The main findings reveal that logistics control and supply chain resources significantly influence consumer interest, while halal policies and supply chain performance do not show the same effect. An integrated and transparent supply chain is a key element in building consumer trust, supported by the application of technologies such as blockchain to improve traceability and efficiency. This study provides practical guidance for industry players in designing a sharia-compliant supply chain and strategic policy recommendations to support the halal fashion industry's aspirations. With a focus on logistics control and resource optimization, Indonesia has the potential to become a global halal fashion hub.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology, artificial intelligence, and global market dynamics has created an increasingly hypercompetitive and unpredictable business landscape. This research examines the role of adaptive mindset and digital technology in improving organizational performance in this challenging environment. Using a mixed-methods sequential exploratory approach with three phases-systematic literature analysis, multi-site case studies across 8 organizations, and quantitative surveys involving 785 employees from 12 technology companies-this study identifies effective strategies for managing employee mindset in the digital era. Findings reveal that organizations with a growth mindset culture experience 23% higher work engagement, 18% increase in product innovation, and 15% improvement in employee retention compared to organizations with fixed mindset. Digital mindset serves as a critical mediator between technology adoption and digital transformation success, with a correlation coefficient of 0.78 between digital literacy and operational productivity. Transformational leadership adopting paradox mindset improves team adaptability to technological disruption by 31% while reducing change resistance among baby boomer generation by 40%. This research extends Carol Dweck's theory by introducing the digital agility mindset concept, integrating continuous learning principles with cutting-edge technological competencies, and provides practical frameworks for assessing digital readiness and implementing leadership digital coaching.

Abstract

This research aims to explore strategies to improve the productivity of loading and unloading activities at PT. Terminal Petikemas Nilam Surabaya through the implementation of the Electronic Rubber Tyred Gantry (E-RTG) system. Although the E-RTG system has not yet been implemented at PT. Terminal Petikemas Nilam Surabaya, its application is considered a potential solution to support efforts in enhancing loading and unloading productivity. E-RTG is a container handling equipment that utilizes sensor technology and battery-powered electricity as a replacement for conventional fuel. This study employs a qualitative approach with data collection techniques including interviews with RTG operators and the HSSE team, as well as documentation. The data analysis method used is SWOT analysis to identify the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats associated with the E-RTG system. The research findings indicate that the implementation of E-RTG has the potential to significantly improve loading and unloading productivity. To ensure successful implementation, PT. Terminal Petikemas Nilam requires several strategies such as infrastructure development, human resource training, seeking investment, and updating the port's digital security systems. With proper strategic planning, the implementation of E-RTG is expected to assist PT. Terminal Petikemas Nilam in future adoption efforts and contribute to increasing the productivity of loading and unloading operations at Terminal Petikemas Nilam Surabaya.

Abstract

This research discusses the urgency of mastering English in the recruitment process of prospective sailors at PT. Equinox Bahari Utama. In the era of globalization and the international maritime industry, proficiency in English has become an absolute requirement for sailors to meet communication standards on board. The objectives of this research are: (1) to determine the recruitment criteria standards for prospective sailors at PT. Equinox Bahari Utama, and (2) to understand the strategies of prospective sailors in mastering English for successful recruitment at PT. Equinox Bahari Utama. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation during field practice in the Recruitment Division of PT. Equinox Bahari Utama. The research results show that English is a determining factor in all stages of the selection process, from interviews to online tests (Marlins and CES). The SWOT analysis reveals that the company's main strength is the implementation of high standards for English proficiency, but challenges remain in the form of a lack of training. The strategies used by prospective sailors to improve their English proficiency include courses, reading ship safety manuals, speaking practice, and interview simulations.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Human Capital and Organizational Justice on the performance of Business and Sharia employees at PT. Bank SUMUT Head Office, both partially and simultaneously. The background of this research is based on the importance of human resource quality and the application of Organizational Justice in creating optimal employee performance within a competitive banking environment. This research employs a quantitative method with an associative approach. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 100 employees and analyzed using multiple linear regression tests, t-tests, and F-tests. The results showed that Human Capital has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, indicated by a t-count value of 4.316 > t-table 1.984 with a significance of 0.000 < 0.05. Similarly, Organizational Justice has a positive and significant effect on employee performance with a t-count value of 3.741 > t-table 1.984 and a significance of 0.000 < 0.05. Simultaneously, both variables positively and significantly affect employee performance with an F-count value of 112.022 > F-table 3.09 and a significance of 0.000 < 0.05. These findings indicate that the optimal development of Human Capital and the effective implementation of Organizational Justice can significantly enhance employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the application and understanding of business ethics in the Islamic perspective on Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) in the Old Baturaja market, Ogan Komering Ulu Regency. The data collection method in this study uses qualitative methods. There are two types of data that researchers use in this study, namely primary data and secondary data. In this research, the data techniques used include observation, interviews and documentation. The respondents in this study were 10 UMKM traders in the Old Baturaja market. Based on the results of this study it can be concluded that traders in the Old Baturaja market still lack understanding of the ethics of buying and selling and some of them also consider the application of buying and selling ethics is not very important in trading. The understanding of traders in the Old Baturaja market is still very limited, most of them think that lying in buying and selling is like a culture. Because by being less honest or lying they can minimize their losses and get more profit. However, some of them fulfill the ethics of buying and selling that are good and right. Traders in the Old Baturaja market have not fully implemented the ethics of buying and selling properly. Such as honest trading ethics, not hoarding goods, prioritizing customer satisfaction, it has not been fully implemented by traders so that there are still buyers who feel disappointed. Abstract

This research was conducted at Bengkong Police Station, Barelang Police Station, with the target respondents being Personnel. In this study, the number of Personnel who were used as respondents was 41 respondents. The research tool used was a Questionnaire. While the analysis tool used was SPSS 19. The description of the research results is as follows. In testing the hypothesis whether the Work Communication variable has an effect on Personnel Performance, then Because t count (10.470)> t table (1.664), then Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted, meaning; The regression coefficient is significant or the Work Communication variable has an effect on Personnel Performance. In testing the hypothesis whether the Teamwork variable has an effect on Personnel Performance, then Because t count (14.483) > t table (1.664), then Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted, meaning; The regression coefficient is significant or the Teamwork variable has an effect on the Personnel Performance variable. In testing the hypothesis whether the Personnel Training variable has an effect on Personnel Performance, then Because t count (15.757) > t table (1.664), then Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted, meaning; The regression coefficient is significant or the Personnel Training variable has an effect on the Personnel Performance variable. In testing the hypothesis whether the Work Communication, Teamwork and Personnel Training variables simultaneously have an effect on Personnel Performance. The Anova test produces an F count of 39.798 > F table 2.49 with a significance level (probability number) of 0.05. F count > F table then Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted. So the regression coefficient of Work Communication (X1), Teamwork (X2) and Training (X3) together have a significant effect on the variable of Personnel Performance (Y).

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of security and trust on the interest in using QRIS as a digital payment method at Deni Store in Ajamu, Labuhanbatu. The research adopts a quantitative approach, utilizing primary data collected through surveys. Data analysis is conducted using descriptive tests, data quality tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing. Data processing is carried out using SPSS version 22.0 to ensure the accuracy of the research findings. The results indicate that security significantly influences the interest in using QRIS. This is evidenced by the t-count value of 4.753, which is greater than the t-table value of 1.295, with a significance level of 0.000, which is below 0.05. Additionally, trust also has a significant impact on the interest in using QRIS, with a t-count value of 6.392, exceeding the t-table value of 1.295, and a significance level of 0.000, which is less than 0.05. Simultaneously, security and trust contribute 92.8% to the interest in using QRIS at Deni Store Ajamu, Labuhanbatu. These findings highlight that security and trust are key factors in driving QRIS adoption among users. Therefore, SMEs and digital payment service providers must enhance transaction security and build consumer trust to expand QRIS adoption in the business sector.
