Jurnal Pendidikan Teknik Mesin ( P_ISSN: 2355-7389 , E_ISSN: 2656-5153 ) diterbitkan oleh Program Pendidikan Teknik Mesin, Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan, Universitas Sriwijaya. Jurnal ini diterbitkan dua kali dalam satu tahun dan diterbitkan pada bulan Mei dan November. Jurnal ini berisi artikel tentang hasil analisis kritis dan penelitian di bidang pembelajaran dalam pendidikan teknik mesin dan pendidikan teknik otomotif. Makalah yang dikirim harus sesuai dengan Template Jurnal Pendidikan Teknik Mesin, untuk penyaringan awal oleh editor dan proses peninjauan lebih lanjut oleh Reviewer.

This research aims to design media for remote control systems so that the application requires a combination of hardware and software. Internet of Things (IoT) devices are used as hardware devices to monitor the physical conditions of a working mechanical system. At the same time, the software displays data in digital numeric form, which is controlled remotely using the Android and Windows operating systems. This research consists of 3 stages: 1) analysis of problems and basic needs, 2) product design, and 3) product testing. The results of the basic needs analysis determine that learning in automotive electrical electronics, engineering measurement instrumentation, and automotive control systems must include intelligent automotive materials. The results of the IoT hardware and software designs are connected and work well, resulting in accurate data readings. The product testing results obtained an average value of 85.71%, so the IoT data acquisition media trainer functions well. Utilization of IoT devices as a learning simulation medium in the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era.

This study aims to evaluate student perceptions of the implementation of the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) Program in the Mechanical Engineering cluster of Jakarta State University. The survey was conducted to collect data from students who are active in the MBKM Program. The data is then analyzed to identify perceptions of the benefits, challenges, and effectiveness of the program. The results showed that the majority of students had an adequate understanding of MBKM and sought information through various sources, such as social media, mass media, and the official website of the Ministry of Education and Culture (Kemdikbud). The Internship/Work Practice Program (MSIB) is the most dominant, and the majority of students benefit positively from MBKM in developing academic skills and learning experiences. Students also reported improvements in hard skills and soft skills. Although some aspects of the program implementation are progressing, the findings point to the need for improvement, especially related to student regulations. Students feel the need to improve good regulations related to the conversion of MBKM program courses. This research contributes to the improvement of the continued development of the MBKM Program in universities

This research aims to analyze the need for DUDIKA-integrated learning tools that can prepare competent graduates. The type of research carried out was descriptive research with a sample of vocational school teachers in the machining engineering and manufacturing industry. Data collection techniques were carried out using interviews, observation, and literature study. The data obtained was analyzed using a qualitative approach. The research results show that the need for DUDIKA's integrated learning tools was obtained through planning by compiling instruments and literature reviews from various relevant journals, collecting data by conducting interviews with teachers and industry as well as learning observation data in schools, and designing learning tools in the form of learning modules. This tool contains theoretical and practical learning by including activities based on the world of work for students. So, this device is an effort to answer challenges for vocational school graduates.

Motorized vehicles have main parts that must be considered by the driver, especially in operation. One of them is the clutch system. The purpose of this research is to analyze the damage to the clutch. This research was conducted at the vocational and productivity training center in Bandung (BBPVP Bandung). In this study using the method of observation and literature study. For data collection techniques using observation techniques, as well as using a vernier caliper. The object of this research is the Toyota Avanza 2003 engine. The results of this study inform that the damage that often occurs to the clutch unit there are three components, namely clutch lining, clutch sun and deklaher. Problems that cause clutch damage include frequently stepping on and releasing the clutch pedal roughly, always half-stepping on the clutch when the car is on an uphill or traffic jam, the habit of stepping on the clutch pedal when the car is running and shifting gears in the transmission gears not in stages according to position

The SMK learning process should direct students to have insight into the world of business or industry, one of which is CAD-based Manufacturing Engineering Drawing subject skills, but it turns out that student learning outcomes are known under the KKM. The aims of this study were to find out 1) the feasibility of interactive multimedia according to media and material experts 2) students' perceptions of the usefulness of interactive multimedia 3) the effectiveness of interactive multimedia to improve learning outcomes. This study used a quantitative approach to numerical data with the One-Group Pretest-Posttest design. involving control and experimental groups. The population of class XI machining students at SMKN1 Losarang. Samples of XITP 1 and XITP 2 students. The pretest results mean 56.99, median 56 mode 50 standard deviation 13.93. The posttest mean 81.86, median 83 mode 86 standard deviation 7.01, there is an increase in posttest scores due to the effect of interactive multimedia on students easily practicing 3D CAD drawings. Conclusion 1) Interactive multimedia learning to make 3D CAD drawings is considered quite feasible by media experts and appropriate by material experts 2) Students' perceptions of interactive Multimedia learning to make CAD drawings are considered quite useful 3) Student learning outcomes after using interactive multimedia in making 3D CAD drawings considered effective.

Utilization of river water can be used as a renewable energy source through the construction of micro-hydro power plants. Bambalu village is flowed by the Bambalu river but the utilization of water has not been utilized as a renewable energy source, due to the unknown amount of water discharge. This study aims to determine how much the water discharge of the Bambalu river in the Kurra sub-district of Tana Toraja. This research method is to determine the water discharge by using the survey method by measuring the water velocity and cross-sectional area of the Bambalu river. The results showed that the average water flow velocity of the Bambalu river was 7.22 m /eti, while the width of the Bambalu River averaged 8.20 m, while the depth of the Bambalu river averaged 1.52m. Based on the theory of tringle section (triangular cross section), the cross-sectional area of 6,232 m2 was obtained, so that the average discharge of the Bambalu River was 44.99 m3 / second.

Merdeka Learning Merdeka Campus (MBKM) is a program designed by the Minister of Education and Culture which aims to equip students to enter the world of work. The independent campus frees students to seek learning experiences outside their study The advantages of the Archipelago Module are that it adds insight and can explore the variety of cultures and characteristics of a region. This research was conducted to determine 1) the effect of the archipelago module activities on diversity insights, and 2) the effectiveness of the archipelago module activities on student tolerance. This study uses qualitative data that represents a research design that provides a real or scientific picture, and researchers do not process data from research settings but use online surveys via Google Forms. Based on a survey conducted via the Google form, it was found that the Nusantara module was able to increase the diversity insights of alumni of the Merdeka Student Exchange Program alumni.

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar elektronik yang berbasis Team Based Project Learning bermuatan multimedia yang layak dan efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Aplikasi yang digunakan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar elektronik tersebut adalah Flipbuilder. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan metode ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation). Setelah bahan ajar elektronik tersebut disusun, selanjutnya dilakukan uji kelayakan dengan validasi oleh ahli materi dan ahli media, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan uji coba terbatas terhadap mahasiswa. Setelah dinilai layak untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran, selanjutnya akan diukur efektifitas penggunaannya melalui tes yang dilakukan terhadap mahasiswa yang menerima atau menggunakan bahan ajar elektronik hasil pengembangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan bahan ajar elektronik berbasis teambased project bermuatan multimedia pada kompetensi membubut ulir telah dilaksanakan dengan baik. Hasil revisi dari para ahli telah diaplikasikan ke dalam bahan ajar elektronik yang dibuat sehingga dapat digunakan dengan baik oleh mahasiswa. Selain itu bahan ajar elektronik juga terbukti sangat efektif untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Hal ini terlihat dari hasil perhitungan N-gain yang memperoleh nilai 0,72 atau berada pada kriteria tinggi/ sangat efektif.

Perkembangan dunia pendidikan bertujuan untuk meningkatkan mutu dalam proses pembelajaran bagi mahasiswa. Proses pembelajaran secara efektif dan efisien mempengaruhi kompetensi mahasiswa. Salah satu cara yang dapat digunakan melalui penggunaan modul ajar. Keberadaan modul ajar perlu adanya kajian pengembangan dengan menyesuaikan perubahan. Peran penting terhadap keberadaan modul ajar perlu adanya kajian sebagai bagian dalam proses perbaikan. Penelitian ini dibatasi terhadap pengembangan modul ajar menggambar teknik pada lingkup Fakultas Teknik, Universitas XYZ Madiun. Metode yang digunakan selama penelitian menggunakan pengembangan Model 4-D. Hasil pengembangan modul ajar menggambar teknik menunjukkan terjadi perubahan hasil belajar mahasiswa dengan perolehan ketuntasan mencapai 81,25 %. Nilai effect size dari penggunaan modul ajar diperoleh 1,89 masuk kategori tinggi sehingga berdampak signifikan terhadap capaian nilai yang diperoleh mahasiswa.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk berupa media pembelajaran berbasis STEM Application yang valid, layak dan praktis. Jenis Penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Develompent) yang menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE. Implementasi dari media ini dilakukan dalam dua tahap, yaitu uji kelayakan dan uji kepraktisan. Adapun kesimpulan yang diperoleh: (1) Produk media pembelajaran berbasis STEM Application ini telah dinyatakan valid, layak dan praktis digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran berdasarkan hasil validasi dari ahli materi dengan nilai rata-rata 82% dengan kategori sangat valid, ahli Media dengan nilai rata-rata 88% berkategori sangat valid, ahli Bahasa dengan nilai rata-rata 82% dengan kategori sangat valid. Uji kelayakan oleh dosen pengampu diperoleh dengan rata-rata penilaian 88% berkategori sangat positif. Sedangkan uji kepraktisan oleh pengguna diperoleh rata-rata dengan penilaian sebesar 81% dengan kategori sangat praktis. (2) Identifikasi menggunakan fishbone diagram yang terdapat pada STEM Application membantu mahasiswa dalam memetakan, menganalisa dan menentukan kebutuhan perawatan dan perbaikan.
