Abstract

This study aims to measure and analyze the level of MSME actors in business around the Cijagra village with a focus on the target research object, namely on UMKM business actors in the Cijra Agra village. The research method used is a qualitative approach method by interviewing business actors and documenting one of the shopkeepers. As for displaying the results of the field in the UMKM business in the village of Cijagra. The data is analyzed using data collection techniques with an interview method approach using sample data and processed into concrete and relevant data. The results of the discussion in this study are expected to be a little insight into the UMKM actors around the Cijagra village.

Abstract

Micro enterprise is a form of small enterprise that is the implementation of the concept of the people's economy. As an important economic player in Indonesia, UMKM has the ability to attract labour from the majority of the population and increase their incomes evenly. Micro, small, and medium-sized (SMEs) continue to grow, but still face financial management problems, namely the difference between private capital and corporate money. The purpose of this research is to analyze BMT Barrah strategy in the effort to develop UMKM. The method of research used is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The data used in this research is qualitative data that is data presented in the form of a sentence or writing not numbers. The results of this research are the strategy carried out by BMT Barrah in efforts to develop UMKM with support and supervision.

Abstract

Electronic Commerce (e-commerce) is the process of buying, selling or exchanging products, services and information via computer networks. e-commerce is part of e-business, where the scope of e-business is broader, not only commercial but also includes business partners, customer service, job vacancies. Apart from www network technology, e-commerce technology also requires a database, email or electronic mail (e-mail), and non-computer technology as well as other delivery systems, and payment tools for e-commerce. With electronic commerce (e-commerce), customers can access and place orders from various places. Considering the increasingly advanced era of technology, customers who want to access e-commerce do not have to be everywhere, this is because in big cities in Indonesia there are many places that provide internet access facilities just by using a laptop/notebook. . or with a Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) using wifi technology. Thus, currently it is very necessary and desirable for companies to implement e-commerce services. The use of e-commerce in Indonesia is still very limited. From the existing background, the author will discuss how e-commerce is utilized for business purposes.

Abstract

Hajj is one of the pillars of Islam that must be carried out by Muslims who are physically, financially and mentally able. However, with the increasing elderly population among Hajj pilgrims, special health challenges arise, requiring special attention to ensure that their needs are optimally met during the Hajj pilgrimage. This research aims to investigate the reality of the elderly-friendly Hajj program and the challenges related to the health istitha'ah (physical and mental abilities) of elderly pilgrims during the Hajj pilgrimage. This research uses qualitative methods with a health istitha'ah case study. Data was collected by conducting in-depth interviews with elderly Hajj pilgrims, Hajj medical officers, and representatives from related institutions. Data was also collected through participant observation during the Hajj pilgrimage. Data analysis was carried out thematically to identify general patterns in the experiences and challenges faced by elderly Hajj pilgrims. The research results show that the elderly-friendly Hajj program has produced several initiatives aimed at increasing accessibility and comfort for elderly Hajj pilgrims, such as the placement of special tents. and more affordable medical facilities. However, significant challenges still exist, especially related to the availability and quality of health services, a lack of understanding of the special needs of the elderly, and the physical and mental readiness of the congregation itself. This research provides valuable insights for parties involved in organizing Hajj pilgrims, including health authorities and Hajj organizers, to improve elderly-friendly Hajj programs and ensure that the health and welfare needs of elderly Hajj pilgrims are properly met. The practical implications of this research are also discussed in the context of providing more inclusive and sustainable health services for the elderly population in the context of the Hajj.

Abstract

There are so many people who do not know the basic laws of eating first and then making transactions, especially at the Padang Cuisine Restaurant in Buah Batu Bandung City, it is very common for people to make transactions at the end rather than at the beginning. Even though the transaction can be categorized as haram if the customer or consumer does not know what the original price of the goods he buys. However, the transaction can be categorized as legitimate if the customer or consumer knows from the price he bought. In this study, researchers aim to find out how the concept of transactions in the perspective of sharia economy, also to find out whether the padang cuisine restaurant has used sharia economic transactions or not, and to find out how the review of Islamic sharia with related transactions in Padang cuisine restaurants. The research method used by researchers is qualitative with literature analysis or literature studies with data collection techniques carried out by making observations, documentation, and literature or literature studies in accordance with the research target to be used as a source of information The result of this research is that the transaction will be haram, if the consumer or customer does not know the content of the price of the item, because some ulama' say it is haram for customers or consumers to eat first and then make a transaction and some other ulama' argue, that the transaction is said to be valid if the consumer or customer knows the price of the item. Researchers can conclude that the padang cuisine restaurant has used the Islamic economic system, and the transaction is legitimate with a note that customers must know the price of goods purchased or eaten, at least know the estimated price of goods to be purchased.

Abstract

This journal explores the importance of transparency in effective communication at PT Alpen Food Industry regarding overtime wages in work contracts. Using qualitative literature study methods, this research investigates various literature sources relevant to this topic. An in-depth analysis of the literature reveals that transparency in organizational communications plays a crucial role in building trust, minimizing conflict, and increasing employee engagement. By using a qualitative approach, this research obtained an in-depth understanding of the importance of transparent communication in the context of overtime wages at PT Alpen Food Industry. The practical implication of this research is the need for companies to increase transparent communication as a foundation for healthy relationships between management and employees. This research contributes to further understanding of communication dynamics in human resource management and sustainable organizational development.

Abstract

This journal reveals issues at PT Garuda Indonesia (Persero) due to a lack of communication involving the Lapkeu Garuda turmoil, which implicates the OJK (Financial Services Authority), primarily stemming from miscommunication problems between the OJK and Garuda Indonesia's management. Insufficient communication adversely impacts the company's performance and results in inaccurate and non-transparent financial reporting. Utilizing a qualitative literature review method, this research investigates various relevant literature sources on the topic. The study aims to explore the significance of transparency concerning the communication deficit at PT Garuda Indonesia (Persero), particularly regarding the Lapkeui Garuda turmoil and the OJK's role in financial statement analysis. This journal provides practical implications, indicating that transparency in financial reporting is not only an obligation but also a long-term investment for sustainability and company growth. The company needs to enhance both internal and external communication and improve collaboration with regulators to ensure adequate transparency in financial information dissemination. Collaborative efforts will aid in restoring stakeholder trust, reducing reputation risks, and establishing a strong foundation for sustainable business growth.

Abstract

Vertical communication is the process of exchanging information, ideas, or instructions that occurs between various hierarchical levels or strata in an organization. This research aims to analyze and improve the effectiveness of vertical communication in the PT Pos Medan company environment through an analytical approach to the dynamics of interaction between hierarchical levels. Effective vertical communication is essential in ensuring the smooth flow of information and coordination within the organization. In this research, we use an analytical approach to understand communication patterns between management levels, identify factors inhibiting communication, and evaluate strategies that can improve collaboration and coordination between organizational levels.

Abstract

Sharia insurance is a financial instrument that is growing rapidly in Indonesia. So risk management is very important in sharia insurance due to several features of sharia insurance that differentiate it from conventional insurance, one of which is the principle of mutual assistance or tabarru', which requires sharia insurance companies to bear the risk if insurance participants experience a disaster. One of them is the insurance company at PT Finanacial Indonesia, Buah Batu branch, which is a Sharia Insurance Company that has been established for a long time. In this research, the researcher's aim is to find out how sharia principles are applied in PT AIA Financial Indonesia's underwriting risk management and the benefits of applying sharia principles in underwriting risk management at PT AIA Financial Indonesia. The method used by researchers in this research uses a qualitative descriptive method using data collection methods such as interviews and documentation. As for the data obtained using secondary data and primary data. The results of this research show that PT AIA Financial Indonesia has implemented sharia principles in underwriting risk management. These principles are fairness, balance and benefit, and are used in various underwriting policies and processes. For PT AIA Financial Indonesia, applying sharia principles in underwriting risk management has many advantages. These principles have helped companies manage risks in a fair and balanced manner, which has resulted in greater benefits for all parties.

Abstract

This research aims to identify horizontal communication barriers faced by PT Masterindo Jaya Global Indonesia. Using a qualitative approach, descriptive data were obtained through literature study and observation of the research subjects, namely companies in Indonesia that experience horizontal communication problems. The results of qualitative data analysis show that communication barriers between units within the company can interfere with operational efficiency and effectiveness. Based on the findings, several solutions are proposed, such as choosing the right communication method, using easy-to-understand language, giving and asking for feedback in communication, increasing openness, maintaining harmonious inter-personal relationships, planning job placements correctly, and clarifying relationships within the organization. This research is expected to provide better insight into horizontal communication and provide guidance for managers and management system developers to improve communication effectiveness within the company.
