Abstract

This study explores the various strategies implemented by Black Canyon Coffee Restaurant to effectively market their products. Through a comprehensive analysis, this research examines the tactics employed by the restaurant to promote its offerings in a competitive market. Strategies such as social media engagement, experiential marketing, product diversification, and customer loyalty programs are investigated to understand their impact on brand visibility and consumer engagement. The findings shed light on the innovative approaches adopted by Black Canyon Coffee Restaurant to enhance its marketing efforts and maintain a strong presence in the industry.

Abstract

This research evaluates the sustainability of the culinary cafe business through business suitability analysis. This research aims to assess whether culinary cafes have adequate business suitability to achieve long-term sustainability. The business suitability analysis method is used to identify factors that influence the success and sustainability of a culinary cafe business. Primary and secondary data were analyzed to support this evaluation. The research findings highlight the importance of factors such as location, target market, competition, and environmental policies in determining the sustainability of a culinary cafe business. The practical implications of this research can help business owners and entrepreneurs to make better decisions in managing and developing a culinary cafe business in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

This research aims to gain a deeper understanding of service problems in the cafe industry through the application of the SERVQUAL method. This method is used to measure customer perceptions of service quality and identify areas where improvement is needed. Data was collected through surveys and analyzed using a statistical approach. The research results highlight certain aspects of cafe service that need to be improved, such as service responsiveness, product reliability, guarantees, empathy, and physical evidence elements. The implications of this research are to help cafe owners to improve customer experience and maintain a competitive advantage in this industry.

Abstract

One of the great potentials in Terasa Village to become an ecotourism area is a culture that has its own characteristics, mutual cooperation that is still active, and has a tourist area of Laliako Waterfall. This area has attractiveness and uniqueness, such as biophysical potential and cultural potential. The beauty of the natural panorama, the diversity of flora, fauna and diverse ecosystems and the challenges of the terrain are often the main attraction, as well as the cultural diversity of the Terasa Village community. The government can further assist the development of ecotourism by providing both tangible (capital) and intangible (security, knowledge) support. This condition encourages local communities to manage their tourism potential. One of the developments is the Laliako Waterfall tourist attraction which can be an alternative to community visits on weekends, as well as local culture that is still well preserved as one of the cultural preservation by the Terasa Village community located in Pattiro Hamlet and Laha-laha Hamlet.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze community perception of the preservation of the cultural ecology of the Tamkesi Traditional Village and Sonaf Raja Oelolok as a heritage tourism destination in North Central Timor Regency. The method used was quantitative research method with Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) approach with Varimax rotation technique to identify the factor structure of the 20 variables studied . The results of the analysis showed that the variables can be grouped into main factors , namely : (1) Social - Economic Interaction , which showed the link between cultural values and economic potential in encouraging preservation ; (2) Social - Environmental Awareness , reflecting the collective commitment of the community in maintenance cultural heritage and the environment ; (3) Perception - Economy , showed that the importance of community expectations of economic benefits from tourism as a driver of support for cultural preservation .These​ three factors significantly shape community perception and interact with each others in support the preservation of ecoculture as a foundation in the preservation of cultural ecology in the Traditional Village of Tamkesi and Sonaf King Oelolok , North Central Timor Regency.

Abstract

Development of eco- wellness Tourism in the Gunung Dempo tourist area, Pagar Alam City, South Sumatra is an effort to combine the concept of ecotourism with health tourism. The Gunung Dempo tourist area has extraordinary natural potential and strongly supports the implementation of the eco- wellness concept. tourism . This study aims to describe the role of eco- wellness tourism in the development of the Mount Dempo tourist area and analyzing the development of eco- wellness tourism in the Gunung Dempo tourist area in Pagar Alam City, South Sumatra. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive approach through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the main potential for developing eco- wellness tourism in the Gunung Dempo tourist area includes the beauty of various Gunung Dempo tourist attractions, and health-based tourism activities such as cycling, jogging , therapy at Tangga 2001, camping activities at the Dempo Botanical Gardens tourist attraction and the Dempo Skyline tour , breathing fresh air while seeing the view of the expanse of tea plantations and the towering Mount Dempo at the Bukit Tungguan Gunung Dempo tour, trekking at the peak of Mount Dempo, and other activities. There are obstacles such as lack of maintenance in facilities , human resources that have not been competent , lack of knowledge about eco-wellness tourism , and accessibility going to object tourism that needs to be improved to make it easier traveler visit area tour Mountain Dempo . The development strategy involves collaboration between the government, community, and private sector in improving tourism facilities, environmental sustainability, and digital-based promotion.

Abstract

This study examines the mediation role of satisfaction and restaurant image on loyalty in traditional restaurants , Singkawang City, West Kalimantan. The primary objective of this research is to analyze the direct and indirect effects of gastronomic experiences on consumer loyalty through restaurant image and customer satisfaction . The research method used is quantitative , with data collection through a questionnaire distributed to 270 respondents selected using purposive sampling technique . The data was then analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis to provide an Overview of the respondent data and Partial Least Square – Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM), processed using SmartPLS software . The results of the analysis show that gastronomic experience significantly and positively influences restaurant image with a t- statistic of 20.045 (> 1.96) and a p- value of 0.000 (<0.05). Gastronomic experience has a significant and positive effect on consumer satisfaction with a t- statistic of 19.864 (> 1.96) and a p- value of 0,000 (<0.05). Restaurant image has a significant and positive effect on consumer loyalty with a t- statistic of 3.581 (> 1.96) and a p- value of 0,000 (<0.05). Consumer satisfaction was also found to have a significant and positive effect on consumer loyalty with a t- statistic of 0.584 (> 1.96) and a p- value of 0.000 (<0.05). Furthermore , mediation analysis revealed that restaurant image significantly mediation the effect of gastronomic experience on consumer loyalty with t- statistics of 3.55 (> 1.96) and p- value of 0,000 (<0.05). Consumer satisfaction significantly mediation the effect of gastronomic experience on consumer loyalty with t- statistics of 11.08 (> 1.96) and p- value of 0.000 (<0.05), indicating complementary ( partial) mediation ). Overall , these findings confirm the acceptance of all hypothesis proposed in this study

Abstract

Food waste is a global problem today and is closely related to tourism , especially in the hospitality sector . Every day there are 70 million tons of food waste wasted and there are about 1.2 billion people living on empty stomach , this inequality needs to be looked at more deeply so that sustainability can be realized , at the research location there are 18 thousand kilograms of waste generated per day and will be different in number if the high season or holiday season . There are more than 700 sectors in the form of hotels , restaurants and cafe that are economic drivers and emissions​​ contributors . The purpose of this research is to find a solution to the problem gap, namely one side has excess food and one side needs food . The method used in this research is qualitative . The data obtained are primary and secondary data, through observation , interviews , and documentation . The results of this study indicates that the field is considered supportive to conduct a food rescue program following the novelty of the research that researchers offer .
