Abstract

This study aims to produce Mathematics Student Worksheets (LKPD) with a Scientific Approach for State Vocational High School (SMK) 2 Bengkulu City on the material of quadratic equations and functions that are valid, practical and effective. The type of research used is development research (Research and Development) with the Borg and Gall Sugiyono model. Based on the results of the product assessment from the material expert validator, the average result was 89.03% of the "Very Valid" criteria, and the results of the product assessment from the media expert validator, the average result was 91.70% of the "Very Valid" criteria. On the teacher's practicality questionnaire sheet, the results were 92.11% of the "Very Practical" criteria, and on the 27 students' practicality questionnaire sheet, the results were 87.58% of the "Very Practical" criteria. While the results of the student learning test obtained an N-Gain value for the experimental class obtained an average value of 0.81 "High" criteria and for the N-Gain value of the control class obtained an average value of 0.63 "Medium" criteria, the t-test value obtained was 0.000 while the level ???? = 0.05. Based on the results of the hypothesis test with the independent samples test, it was stated that the research hypothesis was accepted because the value of 0.000 <0.05. was rejected and accepted that the increase in students' mathematics learning outcomes using the Student Worksheet (LKPD) Mathematics with a Scientific Approach was better than students who learned through ordinary learning and it can be concluded that the learning media developed was effective to use.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the shadow teacher strategy in the learning process of children with speech impairments at the Mahira Nature School in Bengkulu City. This research is important to conduct in order to understand the learning strategies for children with speech impairments. This research method uses a qualitative method of descriptive subjects conducted with teachers. This study used questions for direct observation interviews with teachers. The results of the study indicate that the teacher's strategy in learning children with speech impairments uses unique media and other teaching aids so that they can be easily understood by the children with speech impairments.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the school curriculum and shadow teachers in the learning process of children with autism spectrum disorder at SLB 01 Kepahiang School. This research is important to do to understand how schools use the K 13 curriculum, the independent curriculum, or KTPS for children with autism spectrum disorder. This research method uses a qualitative method of subject description conducted with the school and also teachers. This research is used to create questions for interviews, observations, curriculum for children with autism spectrum disorder by using unique media and teaching aids in the learning process to make it easier for children with autism spectrum disorder.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of teachers in the formation of student character in grade III SDN 16 Bengkulu City, and what kind of characters teachers often encounter in SDN 16 Bengkulu City, The subjects of this study were teachers and third grade students of SDN 16 Bengkulu City, totaling 35 students, this study used descriptive qualitative research methods, data collection methods in this study used observation, interview, and documentation methods. The results of this study indicate that teachers play a very important role in the formation of student character, such as implementing exemplary attitudes, honesty, responsibility, and independence. After implementing these attitudes, students become better, disciplined, independent, and responsible.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the process or activities of the night of Nujuh Likur in Seluma, the meaning of the night of Nujuh Likur activities for the people of Seluma, and the mathematical elements contained in the night of Nujuh Likur activities. The night of Nujuh Likur activities are usually carried out in the holy month of Ramadan or are often carried out when commemorating the night of Nuzulul Qur'an and the night of Lailatul Qadar, the meaning contained in this activity is seen from a religious perspective, and there are mathematical aspects in the night of seven likur activities. Aspects that exist include arithmetic sequences, the mention of the number twenty by the Serawai community and the concept of Measurement.

Abstract

Children with Special Needs include children with disabilities, namely those who experience deviations or significant differences from the general (average) state of people, so they require special educational services so they can develop their potential optimally. These deviations can occur in physical, mental, social, and/or emotional aspects. Tantrums are a common behavioral problem experienced by preschool children who express their anger by sleeping on the floor, struggling, screaming and usually holding their breath. Tantrums are natural, especially in children who cannot yet use words to express their frustration (Fetsch & Jacobson, 1988). Temper tantrums are explosive and uncontrolled emotional outbursts. Tantrums occur in active children with abundant energy. This study was conducted using a qualitative research type with a descriptive qualitative research type that aims to describe the role of special education teachers in implementing special needs programs in schools. in implementing strategies, namely using ABA therapy strategies for children who experience temper tantrums.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine and analyze teacher strategies in overcoming the difficulties of elementary school children reading the Quran in children with special needs (autism) at Almahira Nature School, Bengkulu City. Autistic children are unable to interact socially, even as if living in their own world. This is what autistic children experience at Almahira Nature School, Bengkulu City, but as teachers, strategies are needed to overcome difficulties in reading the Quran in autism. This study emphasizes the ways and strategies of teachers guiding reading the Quran using qualitative methods, which are descriptive. Data collection techniques used are observation and interviews. The results of this study found that the methods used through a psychological approach to children, creating a conducive class and guiding them individually. The strategies used are designing direct learning, using the Iqra method, using learning media and evaluation.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the teacher's method in teaching prayer procedures to 6th grade Down syndrome children at Almahira Elementary School in Bengkulu City. This type of research is qualitative research, namely research that attempts to provide a systematic format of actual facts and characteristics of a particular population. The collection of research data uses observation, interview, and documentation methods. Furthermore, the data is analyzed using data triangulation, namely by combining several data collection techniques such as interviews, observations, and data sources in the form of library materials, informants, teaching and learning activities, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that teachers have a very important method in the process of teaching prayer procedures. Here, teachers must be able to understand and comprehend the conditions of their students, especially in teaching children who have physical, mental, or other disabilities. Teachers must also provide space for their students by providing feedback in the form of questions and answers on problems that are not yet known by students with the aim of developing their potential, in addition, teachers must also know and have their own methods in teaching prayer procedures so that they can overcome problems and obstacles faced when the process of teaching prayer begins to be ineffective. Teachers also need to evaluate themselves in delivering material to find out where their weaknesses lie in delivering the material.

Abstract

This research aims to see the forms of bullying behavior in SMA Nelgelri 3 Kolta Bengkulu and also how the Guidance and Counseling (BK) teacher's strategy in overcoming bullying behavior in SMA Nelgelri 3 Kolta Bengkulu. The type of research used is qualitative descriptive, the data collection techniques used are observation techniques, interview techniques and documentation techniques, and the data analysis techniques used are reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of this research on bullying behavior among students at SMA Nelgelri 3 Kolta Bengkulu are, the forms of bullying behavior found are pulling the hijab, pulling the head and body, pinching, kicking, lifting the victim and then dropping it, bullying, calling friends by nicknames, calling friends by their shortcomings, giving nicknames to older people, ostracizing, gossiping about friends who do not participate in bullying and posting photos of their friends' shame on social media. Then, the strategies implemented by Counseling and Guidance (BK) teachers in overcoming bullying behavior include providing advice, carrying out supervision, giving warnings, giving punishments, calling parents, and implementing police regulations. They also serve as a forum for students to share their feelings and provide motivational support to victims of bullying.

Abstract

This research problem is based on the question of how the ethnomathematics of rice farmers in Padang Cekur village. This study aims to explore the mathematical aspects related to the rice farming community in Padang Cekur village and also to identify them as one of the many learning resources in mathematics schools. The method used in this study is descriptive research. The techniques applied are interviews and documentation. The subjects are rice farmers. The results show that: There are mathematical aspects in the rice farming community in Padang Cekur village, they measure, discover, design, and explain aspects. Mathematical aspects found in the community can be categorized as elementary school mathematics and junior high school students. This discovery can help students to represent the knowledge they have obtained from class to be applied in everyday life. The conclusion that can be drawn is that there is ethnomathematics in the rice farming community in Padang Cekur village
