Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze motivation towards employee performance at the Community and Village Empowerment Service of Paser Regency. The research design used in this study is a quantitative research design. In this study, the population is employees of the Community and Village Empowerment Service of Paser Regency totaling 69 employees consisting of 29 civil servants and 40 PTT employees. The sampling technique used in this study is using saturated sampling technique so that the number of samples in this study is 69 employees. Data collection techniques are carried out by means of observation and distribution of questionnaires. Researchers use multiple linear regression tools using the SPSS application program. From the results of the study, it is known that the variables that have a significant effect on employee performance (Y) of Employees at the Community and Village Empowerment Service of Paser Regency are intrinsic motivation (X₁), and it is also known that the dominant effect on employee performance (Y) is intrinsic motivation (X₁) with a t-value of 8.321> t-table value of 1.66827 with a significance level of 0.000. The coefficient of determination (R²) value of 0.885 or 88.5% explains that the independent variables of intrinsic motivation (X₁) and extrinsic motivation (X₂) contribute to the influence of the dependent variable of employee performance (Y) of 88.5%, while the remaining 11.5% is influenced by other variables not included in this study.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the simultaneous and partial influence and dominant variables of brand ambassador (X1) and brand image (X2) on the Purchase Decision (Y) of Scarlett Whitening Products. The research design used in this study is a quantitative research design. The population in this study were all active students of STIE Widya Praja Tanah Grogot from semester two to semester eight who used Scarlett Whitening products as many as 50 people. The sampling technique in this study used a nonprobability sampling technique with a saturated sampling type, so that in this study the number of samples taken was 50 respondents. The data analysis technique used was multiple linear regression analysis using the assistance of SPSS. The calculation result of the brand image variable (X2) obtained a t-value of 2.186 and a significant level of 0.034 when compared to the t-table value of 2.01174 (t-count> t-table) or 2.186> 2.01174 with a significant level of 0.034> 0.05 which means H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, so it can be concluded that the brand image variable (X2) has a significant influence on the decision to purchase Scarlett Whitening products among students of the Widya Praja Tanah Grogot School of Economics. Of the two independent variables studied, it is known that the brand ambassador variable (X1) is the variable that has the dominant influence on purchasing decisions, this is evidenced by the results of t-count> t-table (3.752> 1.67793) with a significant value of 0.000 <0.05.

Abstract

This study explores the strategic integration of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) and Good Corporate Governance (GCG) as a means to support the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Using a qualitative descriptive method through content analysis of secondary data, the research analyzes the relevance of ESG and GCG in corporate strategy. The findings show that ESG provides a framework for identifying sustainability-related risks and opportunities, while GCG ensures ethical, transparent, and accountable governance. Companies integrating these two pillars demonstrate better performance in sustainability, increased competitiveness, and greater investor trust. Case studies from Indonesian companies such as PT SUCOFINDO and PT Len Industri illustrate successful ESG-GCG implementation that aligns with various SDG targets. Nonetheless, challenges remain, including resource constraints and limited managerial awareness. The study concludes that the synergy between ESG and GCG is essential in building resilient and sustainable businesses. Further research is recommended to develop implementation models across industries and support policy improvements in ESG governance.

Abstract

The culinary product market, particularly Pancake Ucok Durian in Medan City, demands effective marketing strategies and attractive packaging designs to enhance consumer purchasing decisions. This study aims to analyze the influence of marketing strategies and packaging designs on consumer purchase decisions. A quantitative survey using purposive sampling was conducted on 200 active consumers within the last six months. Data were collected through structured questionnaires and analyzed using multiple regression. The results show that marketing strategies have a positive and significant effect on purchase decisions, contributing 41.2%. Meanwhile, packaging design has a more dominant influence, contributing 43.4%. Simultaneously, both variables explain 55.1% of the variation in consumer purchase decisions. These findings highlight the importance of optimizing marketing strategies and packaging design to strengthen Pancake Ucok Durian’s competitiveness in the market

Abstract

This study aims to explore the implementation of the Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI) in improving the quality of education at SMAN 1 Jejangkit. A qualitative descriptive approach was used, with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results show that SPMI is implemented through five key cycles: setting standards, implementation, evaluation, control, and improvement. Strong school leadership, active participation from all school members, and the development of a quality culture support its success. Despite challenges such as limited resources and adapting to policy and technological changes, SPMI has had a positive impact on teaching quality, teacher competence, and compliance with national education standards. The study recommends enhancing digital integration and developing innovative, future-oriented curricula.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of perceived usefulness, ease of use, and security on e-wallet user satisfaction among Generation Z in the digital era. A quantitative approach was employed using multiple linear regression analysis. The sample consisted of 104 respondents who are active e-wallet users and belong to Generation Z in Surakarta, Indonesia. The results indicate that perceived usefulness, ease of use, and security have a positive and significant effect on user satisfaction. Among these variables, ease of use had the most dominant influence. The coefficient of determination value of 98.4% indicates that the independent variables simultaneously explain most of the variation in user satisfaction. These findings highlight the importance of user-friendly, functional, and secure features in enhancing e-wallet satisfaction among the younger generation.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of recycling, resource efficiency, and product innovation on the implementation of circular economy in the textile industry and plastic processing industry in East Java Province. Using a descriptive quantitative approach with secondary data from five companies over the period 2020-2024, this study found that recycling and resource efficiency have a positive and significant effect on the implementation of circular economy, while product innovation does not show a significant effect. The research model has a very high explanatory power (R² = 0.983), indicating that 98.3% of the variation in circular economy implementation can be explained by the three variables. The study also found a significant reciprocal relationship between circular economy implementation and recycling practices. This finding confirms the importance of optimizing recycling practices and resource efficiency in promoting a circular economy, while highlighting the need to align product innovation strategies to be more oriented towards the principles of sustainability and circularity in the context of industry in East Java.

Abstract

Customer satisfaction serves as a principal metric in evaluating the efficacy of a business, particularly within the service sector, exemplified by laundry services. Although service quality and business location are frequently regarded as determinants of satisfaction levels, prior studies indicate that their impact may vary based on the specific type and characteristics of the enterprise. Accordingly, this research seeks to investigate the degree to which service quality and location influence customer satisfaction at Ende Laundry. A quantitative methodology was employed, incorporating 50 customers selected via purposive sampling. A questionnaire employing a Likert scale was utilized as the primary instrument for data collection, with subsequent analysis performed using multiple linear regression, encompassing validity testing, reliability assessment, classical assumptions, and both partial and simultaneous tests. The results demonstrate that service quality significantly affects customer satisfaction, whereas location exhibits no substantial influence in a partial context. Collectively, these two variables account for 72.6% of the variance in customer satisfaction. The findings of this study indicate that service quality is the predominant determinant of customer satisfaction at Ende Laundry, whereas the influence of location appears to be comparatively limited. Consequently, it is advisable for management to prioritize enhancements in service quality through staff training and strategic location adjustments to bolster the customer experience.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of rational and emotional motives on purchasing decisions of the Muslim fashion product hijab paris among students of the Faculty of Economics and Business at Universitas Andi Djemma Palopo. The research employed a quantitative approach with data collected through questionnaires distributed to 30 respondents. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS. The results indicate that both rational and emotional motives significantly influence purchasing decisions for hijab paris, with emotional motives being the most dominant variable. These findings suggest that hijab marketing strategies should take into account the emotional aspects of consumers, particularly among younger generations.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the extent to which Sharia principles are implemented in financing products by Islamic financial institutions in Indonesia, with a focus on a case study of Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI). This research employs a qualitative method with a literature study approach. The findings indicate that although financing products such as murabahah, ijarah, musyarakah, and mudharabah are theoretically designed in accordance with Sharia principles, in practice there are still deviations, particularly in procedural aspects and the execution of contracts (akad). One of the analyzed cases reveals an asset auction process involving a customer's collateral that is considered inconsistent with the principles of justice, deliberation (musyawarah), and transparency. This highlights the need for a comprehensive reinforcement of Sharia principles implementation—not only in product design but also in operational procedures and dispute resolution mechanisms. The study recommends enhancing Sharia literacy, evaluating internal standard operating procedures (SOPs), and ensuring more active supervision by the Sharia Supervisory Board to ensure that Islamic principles are genuinely embodied in the practices of Islamic finance in Indonesia.
