Abstract

The modern business environment requires companies to adopt strategies that not only focus on maximizing shareholder profits but also emphasize value creation for all stakeholders. This article critically reviews the integration of Stakeholder Theory within strategic management, examining its alignment and potential conflicts with traditional strategic theories while exploring its practical implications. The study employs a systematic literature review combined with conceptual and critical analysis. The findings indicate that Stakeholder Theory has developed from a complementary perspective into a fundamental strategic approach for achieving sustainable competitive advantage. The analysis shows that this theory strengthens competition-based and resource-based perspectives by highlighting the importance of relational resources and shared value creation among stakeholders. Nevertheless, challenges such as the risk of superficial implementation and greenwashing require organizations to apply the theory authentically. Effective implementation can be achieved through integrated governance systems, appropriate incentive structures, and comprehensive performance measurement frameworks. Therefore, the integration of Stakeholder Theory is considered a strategic necessity, and organizations are encouraged to redesign their strategic management processes by placing stakeholder analysis at the core of decision-making and long-term planning.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) led by women are an important pillar of the local economy in the traditional culinary sector, which is rich in cultural values. In Ngawi Regency, East Java, women MSMEs face complex challenges in innovating and increasing dynamic competitiveness and penetration of modern products. This study aims to analyze the strategies for empowering the creativity of women MSMEs in traditional culinary businesses in Ngawi, as well as the impact of product innovation capacity and strengthening local economic competitiveness, using qualitative methods with a case study approach. The findings reveal that empowering creativity occurs through: (1) adapting traditional recipes based on modern market preferences without losing the essence of the original taste (Maulid, A. & Ciptandi, F., 2023); (2) innovative packaging and attractive presentation using local materials and branding based on local wisdom narratives (Duchek, 2020); (3) utilizing digital technology for marketing and expanding distribution networks (Miya Dewi, Moh, & Burhan., 2025). Technical training support and access to capital increase their confidence and experimental abilities (Brush et al., 2019). This strategy also creates uniqueness as a key selling point, thereby strengthening their economic position within the local value chain. Empowering the creativity of women entrepreneurs in traditional culinary MSMEs in Ngawi is a key strategy for encouraging contextual, incremental innovation. The synergy of traditional knowledge, individual creativity, and external support can transform local potential into a sustainable competitive advantage (Bula, 2022).

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of agricultural cooperatives in empowering farmers in rural areas of Tulungagung, East Java, focusing on economic and social aspects, and examining the extent to which farmer community participation serves as the foundation for building a sustainable local economic empowerment model. This qualitative research using a case study approach was conducted at the “Makmur Abadi” Farmers Cooperative in Tulungagung Regency. The research findings indicate that cooperatives play a significant role in empowering farmers through: (1) Access to more affordable capital and agricultural inputs, reducing dependence on middlemen (a pattern consistent with the findings of Bijman et al., 2014 regarding the role of farmer organizations); (2) Capacity building through agricultural technical and management training; (3) Strengthening bargaining positions in the market through a collective marketing system; and (4) Building social capital through networking and trust among members. Active member participation in decision-making (Rondot & Collion, 2001) is the main key to maintaining the accountability and sustainability of cooperatives. However, the main challenges lie in limited managerial capacity and market price fluctuations. Agricultural cooperatives in Tulungagung have proven effective as a model for strengthening the local economy based on community participation. Recommendations for similar models to be replicated in other rural areas with adaptations to local contexts emphasize the principle of participation as the key to empowerment (Chambers, 1995).

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of work-life balance on the work motivation of millennial employees in Makassar City. Work-life balance is an important factor that can affect employee well-being and motivation, especially for the millennial generation who have different expectations in the world of work. The research method used is quantitative with an associative approach, involving 100 millennial employee respondents who work in various companies in Makassar City. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using simple linear regression. The results show that work-life balance has a positive and significant influence on the work motivation of millennial employees. Employees who have a balance between work and their personal lives tend to be more motivated and productive. In addition, a supportive work environment and flexible work policies contribute to improving employee engagement and job satisfaction. Therefore, companies in Makassar City are advised to implement policies that support work-life balance to improve employee motivation and well-being, as well as to enhance organizational performance and sustainability in the long term.

Abstract

Locally Generated Revenue (PAD) is a key indicator of regional economic performance and fiscal capacity in implementing decentralization. To strengthen regional finances, the central government enacted Law Number 1 of 2022, replacing Law Number 34 of 2000 on Regional Taxes and Levies. In response, the Payakumbuh City Government has sought to optimize PAD through the parking levy sector managed by the Transportation Agency. Roadside parking fees are positioned as a strategic revenue source; however, revenue targets have not been achieved optimally. To address this issue, the Mayor of Payakumbuh issued Decree Number 500.11.33/23.3.80/WK-PYK/2025 concerning the Determination of Parking Locations on Public Roads, establishing two new parking areas effective February 12, 2025. This study evaluates the implementation of the parking area expansion policy and analyzes its potential contribution to increasing PAD. The findings reveal that although the policy has been formally implemented, several challenges persist, including weak parking management systems, limited technological utilization, inadequate operational procedures, and insufficient field supervision. Furthermore, low public awareness regarding the importance of parking tickets and reporting violations constrains revenue optimization. Therefore, improvements are required in management systems, human resource capacity, technological integration, supervision mechanisms, and public education to foster orderly parking practices. These measures are expected to enhance the effectiveness of parking levy collection and contribute significantly to increasing PAD in Payakumbuh City.

Abstract

The development of information technology and the operational demands of the police force require organizational adjustments to maintain effective task implementation. This study aims to examine the effect of workload and digital adaptation on the performance of Pasaman Police personnel and examine the role of job satisfaction as an intervening variable in this relationship. The study used a quantitative approach with a purposive sample of 180 respondents from a population of 263 personnel. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) after undergoing instrument validity and reliability tests. The analysis results show that digital adaptation has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction (β = 0.828; p < 0.001), while job satisfaction has a significant positive effect on personnel performance (β = 0.480; p = 0.003). The direct effect of workload on job satisfaction and performance is not significant (p > 0.05). The direct effect of digital adaptation on performance shows a positive direction but is statistically marginal (p ≈ 0.059). Mediation analysis indicated that job satisfaction significantly mediated the relationship between digital adaptation and performance (indirect effect ≈ 0.398; p = 0.003), but did not mediate the relationship between workload and performance. The research model explained approximately 82% of the variance in job satisfaction and approximately 76.7% of the variance in performance (R² ≈ 0.82 and R² ≈ 0.767). The study's conclusions emphasize the importance of strengthening digital adaptation programs and interventions that increase job satisfaction as strategies to improve personnel performance. Practical implications include designing digital training relevant to operational tasks, improving managerial support, and evaluating and structuring workloads based on actual tasks to support the effectiveness of police institutions.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of product quality, price, and service quality on customer satisfaction at several Official Infinix Stores in South Tangerang City. The research sample amounted to 98 respondents, with data processing using the SPSS 20 statistical analysis program. The results of the study show that product quality, price, and service quality have a significant influence partially on customer satisfaction of Infinix users in South Tangerang. Good product quality enhances customer perception of value and trust, competitive prices strengthen purchasing decisions, while responsive and friendly service quality strengthens customer loyalty. These findings confirm that customer satisfaction is not only determined by product factors alone, but also by a combination of appropriate prices and quality service. Thus, the strategy of increasing customer satisfaction at the Infinix Official Store needs to be carried out holistically through improving product quality, setting proportional prices, and improving service quality. This research makes a practical contribution to retail management in formulating marketing policies that are oriented towards customer satisfaction, while strengthening Infinix's competitiveness in the increasingly competitive smartphone market.

Abstract

Performance management systems (PMS) play a crucial role in healthcare organizations by influencing staff motivation and ultimately affecting patient care quality. However, the relationship between PMS implementation and its impact on healthcare outcomes remains fragmented in the literature. This systematic review aims to synthesize current evidence on the effectiveness of performance management systems in healthcare organizations, specifically examining their impact on staff motivation and patient care outcomes. A comprehensive systematic review was conducted following PRISMA guidelines. Electronic databases including PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science, and SINTA were searched from January 2000 to December 2024. Studies examining performance management systems in healthcare settings and their effects on staff motivation and patient outcomes were included. From 847 initial records, 28 studies met the inclusion criteria. The review identified that well-implemented performance management systems showed positive associations with staff motivation (effect size: 0.67, 95% CI: 0.45-0.89) and patient care quality metrics (effect size: 0.58, 95% CI: 0.38-0.78). Key components of effective PMS included regular feedback mechanisms, goal alignment, and competency-based evaluations. Performance management systems demonstrate significant potential in enhancing both staff motivation and patient care quality when appropriately implemented. Healthcare organizations should focus on developing comprehensive, fair, and transparent PMS that align individual goals with organizational objectives.

Abstract

Performance management systems (PMS) play a critical role in healthcare organizations by influencing staff motivation and patient care quality. This systematic review examines recent literature from 2023-2024 to assess the impact of performance management systems on healthcare staff motivation and patient outcomes. A comprehensive search of academic databases identified 42 relevant studies focusing on various performance management frameworks including Balanced Scorecard, continuous feedback systems, and goal-setting approaches. The findings reveal that effective performance management systems positively influence staff motivation through three key mechanisms: satisfaction of psychological needs (autonomy, competence, and relatedness), provision of timely feedback, and alignment of individual and organizational goals. Evidence demonstrates that well-designed PMS incorporating Self-Determination Theory principles enhance autonomous motivation, work engagement, and job satisfaction while reducing burnout and turnover. Furthermore, performance management systems that emphasize continuous feedback, development-focused approaches, and recognition programs show significant positive associations with patient care quality, safety outcomes, and organizational performance. However, the review also identifies challenges including over-reliance on metrics, resistance to change, and potential for dysfunctional behaviors when systems are perceived as controlling rather than enabling. The study concludes that healthcare organizations should adopt enabling approaches to performance management that balance accountability with professional autonomy, integrate formative feedback mechanisms, and align performance measures with organizational values and strategic objectives. Future research should focus on longitudinal studies examining causal relationships and implementation strategies for sustaining effective performance management systems.

Abstract

Effective implementation of public health policies requires strategic approaches to increase population engagement and behavior adoption. The marketing mix framework (4Ps: Product, Price, Place, Promotion) represents a systematic tool for optimizing policy implementation outcomes. A systematic review following PRISMA 2020 guidelines examined evidence from 2023-2024 on marketing mix applications in public health policy implementation. Electronic databases (PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science, Google Scholar) were searched, identifying 847 publications. After screening, 18 studies met inclusion criteria. Data extraction captured marketing mix elements employed, implementation contexts, and health outcomes. Included studies (n=18) predominantly addressed vaccination (n=9) and nutritional behavior change (n=4). Comprehensive integration of all four marketing mix elements produced substantially larger effect sizes (45-88% improvement in outcomes) compared with single-element interventions (15-25% improvement). Strategic product positioning, multi-layered price optimization, expanded place/distribution channels, and integrated promotional campaigns demonstrated synergistic effects in reducing implementation barriers and expanding population reach. Evidence strongly supports integration of marketing mix frameworks into public health policy design and implementation. Future research should examine cost-effectiveness and develop implementation toolkits for resource-constrained settings.
