Abstract

Abstract: In South Amuntai District, community participation in paying land and building tax is still low due to phenomena such as a lack of information provision in the form of outreach, light sanctions for taxpayers, no ball pick-up method in collecting land and building tax, no officers  stipulation of PBB in conducting door to door data collection on tax objects and tax subjects.  This study aims to determine community participation in payments and the factors that influence community participation in PBB payments. This research uses a qualitative approach with a qualitative descriptive type.  Data collection techniques used are interviews, observation, and documentation.  Sources of data were taken through the withdrawal of informants by purposive sampling totaling 16 people.  After the data is collected, it is then analyzed using techniques including data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions.  In seeking the validity of the data, a credibility test was made by extending observations, increasing persistence, triangulation, peer discussions, negative case analysis and member checking. The results of this study indicate that community participation in paying land and building taxes is not good. It can be seen from: First, information is still not good enough because there is still a lack of information.  Second, the attitude is still not good because awareness is still lacking.  Third, the economic level is still not good because the key taxpayer's income comes from a desire to participate.  Fourth, interaction and communication is still lacking, interaction from agencies and communication to direct taxpayers.  While what is quite good can be seen from: First, the opportunity to participate is quite good because the agency has provided opportunities for taxpayers to participate.  Second, the perception of the program is still quite good, it can be seen from the perception of taxpayers that there are still many taxpayers who think it is not too important to pay.  Factors that influence community participation are: lack of information provision, community economic level, lack of public awareness, lack of interaction from related agencies. Suggestions to the Head of the North Hulu Sungai Regency Regional Revenue Agency, especially to the Head of PBB to further increase socialization activities by inviting taxpayers and providing information through various forms such as banners, radio, TV, social media and others. To the Village Head and Village Apparatus provide collection services directly to homes and preferably also village officials who go directly to the community and hold village meetings regarding land and building tax awhich invites some taxpayers. To the public to be more concerned with land and building taxes that this tax must be paid because the tax funds will also be for the benefit of the community as well

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the planning of extreme poverty alleviation in Kotabaru Regency using a library research approach based on documents, government publications, and statistical data to understand the root causes of poverty, evaluate policy effectiveness, and analyze the budget allocation amounting to IDR 255,181,642,539 or 7.83% of Kotabaru Regency’s total regional budget for 2024. The findings reveal fluctuating poverty rates influenced by the pandemic and structural challenges, with the poverty rate reaching 4.45% in 2024, although there has been progress in the health and basic infrastructure sectors. The poverty alleviation strategies in the region include reducing the burden of living expenses for the poor, increasing their capacity and income, and eliminating poverty pockets, each aimed at improving conditions in education, employment, health, and basic infrastructure. This research recommends more integrated, up-to-date data-driven policy planning and cross-sectoral synergy to ensure that extreme poverty alleviation programs in Kotabaru Regency are effective and sustainable in supporting the achievement of the 2030 SDGs.

Abstract

The emergence of marketplace applications has encouraged Generation Z to take advantage of digital promotions such as discounts and free shipping to enhance their shopping experience. With their cost-conscious characteristics, these factors influence their consumptive behavior. This study aims to determine the influence of price, discount, and free shipping on the purchase decisions of Generation Z in Kotabaru Regency on the Shopee marketplace. This research is a causal associative study using a quantitative approach. The number of samples required in this study was 385 respondents, selected through non-probability sampling using a purposive sampling technique. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that the variables price, discount, and free shipping have a positive and significant influence on the purchase decision variable, both partially and simultaneously, for Generation Z in Kotabaru on the Shopee marketplace.

Abstract

Abstract: This study uses a quantitative research method with multiple linear regression analysis methods. Data collection through questionnaires using Google Form. The population in this study were all consumers who purchased Lucienne skincare products online with a sample size of 96 respondents using a purposive sampling technique. The results of this study indicate that price and service quality have a negative and insignificant effect on purchasing decisions, while product quality has a positive and significant effect on online purchasing decisions of Lucienne skincare products. Simultaneously, both price, product quality and service quality have a significant effect on purchasing decisions

Abstract

Abstract: One of the fast food restaurants which is a local Indonesian product is Burger Bangor which is the people's burger choice. This research shows the influence of brand positioning and brand equity on purchasing decisions for the Bangor Kandangan Burger.The research location chosen was Burger Bangor Kandangan. The total sample used was 80 respondents. A questionnaire was chosen as a research instrument to collect data and multiple linear regression analysis was used for hypothesis testing. This research results show that brand positioning has a significant effect on consumer purchasing decisions. Brand equity has a significant influence on consumer purchasing decisions. Brand Positioning and Brand Equity have a significant influence simultaneously on purchasing decisions for the Bangor Kandangan Burger

Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by issues such as the inconsistency of tariffs with regulations, the collection of service fees without tickets, and suboptimal service delivery. A qualitative approach was used, with data collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. Data sources were selected through purposive sampling, involving 13 participants. The data were analyzed using techniques of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Credibility testing was conducted through prolonged observation, increased diligence, triangulation, reference materials, and member checking. The results indicate that performance was less than satisfactory. Indicators showing poor performance included service compliance, program development, accuracy, and thoroughness. Fairly good indicators included work results, efficiency, public satisfaction, accountability, and compliance with organizational policies. Meanwhile, organizational capability and the presence of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) were assessed as good. Supporting factors included good attitudes and a sense of responsibility, The inhibiting factors are the absence of technology use in the retribution collection process, such as the use of QRIS for payments, and the implementation that does not comply with the SOP. It is recommended to improve supervision, evaluation, discipline, and employee professionalism in carrying out their duties

Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by obstacles in fulfilling facilities, the absence of a waiting room in circulation services, the lack of staff, the presence of noise in the reading room area, and the lack of book updates. The purpose of this study is to determine the level of Public Satisfaction with Services at the Hulu Sungai Utara Regency Regional Library. The research method is descriptive quantitative, with a sample of 94 respondents. Data collection techniques are distributing questionnaires, observation, literature studies, and documentation. The sampling technique uses Probability Sampling, analyzing data using the perception value provision test. The results show that the index value obtained is 3.044 and the value of the public satisfaction index after being converted is 76.1, so the service quality is "B". So it can be concluded that the Public Satisfaction Index at the Hulu Sungai Utara Regency Regional Library is said to be good. Then, it can be seen that the indicator that has the highest IKM value is requirements = 3.176 (11.57%) with a conversion value of (3.176 X 25) = 79.4 weight value "B" category Good/Satisfied, while the lowest indicator value is facilities and infrastructure = 2.968 with a conversion value of (2.968 X 25) = 74.2 weight value "C" category Less Good/Less Satisfied. Several aspects that must be made the main priority in improving services are adjusted to the findings in this study, namely completion time, implementer competence, complaint handling, and facilities and infrastructure

Abstract

Abstract: Kotabaru Regency, a Strategic Provincial Area for marine and capture fisheries, boasts significant potential, with a fishery production of 65,554 tons in 2023, the highest in South Kalimantan. Hilir Muara Village, located in Pulau Laut Sigam Sub-district, serves as a marine-based economic hub driven by fishermen cooperatives, with KUB Matahari Bersinar as the primary collective institution. Despite high production, fishermen‘s income remains low, ranging from IDR 1,500,000 to IDR 2,000,000 per month, below Kotabaru‘s minimum wage of IDR 3,462,000 (BPS, 2023). KUB Matahari Bersinar faces challenges, including limited working capital, weak managerial capacity, insufficient technical training, and low adoption of modern technology. Previous studies have largely focused on macro-level fisheries or national seafood exports, with limited research on strategies for small-scale local fishermen cooperatives. This study aims to identify the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of the KUB Matahari Bersinar through a SWOT analysis. The analytical modeling produces a strategic matrix of SO–WO–ST–WT strategies based on IFAS–EFAS scores, and formulates cooperative strengthening strategies to optimize member income. Using a qualitative approach through interviews, observations, and document reviews, the study finds that strategies based on local potential—such as modernization of fishing technology, digitalization of management, and strengthening of market access—can improve the welfare of fishermen. The results of this study are expected to provide practical contributions to the development of fishermen cooperatives in Kotabaru Regency

Abstract

Abstract: The research location was chosen in the city of Banjarmasin. 100 respondents were determined and selected using purposive sampling with the criteria of being Bank Syariah Indonesia users who actively use mobile banking. Questionnaires were used to collect conjoint data using a Likert scale. The results of the research show that there are six attributes in the Bank Syariah Indonesia mobile banking application with consumer preferences, namely the attributes of ease of use, level of security, completeness of features, Islamic features, application display design and application error rate, with the most important ranking being the security level attribute of 24.333 %, the application error rate attribute is 21.969%, the ease of use attribute is 20.367%, the online feature completeness attribute is 17.037%, the Islamic feature attribute is 10.234% and the application appearance design attribute is 6.067%.

Abstract

Abstract: The approach used in this research is to use quantitative research regarding the analysis of the influence of service quality, location, product quality and price on consumer repurchase interest at Depo Gemilang. Banjarmasin City With a population of all buyers or customers who buy building materials at the Gemilang Depot, Banjarmasin City. The research results show that service quality has a significant positive effect on consumer repurchase interest and product quality has a significant positive effect on consumer repurchase interest
