Abstract

This study aims to highlight the concept of how steps should be taken to improve Islamic education. Using the literature study method, this research shows that the problems of Islamic education that occur today are in aspects of governance or management, the learning process, and the quality of graduates. Meanwhile, the efforts that must be made to solve these problems are equalizing points of view through deliberation, accommodating local wisdom as part of learning activities, and reorientation Islamic education based on experience and productivity.

Abstract

Pesantren is an Islamic educational institution that has its own characteristics and is different from other educational institutions. Islamic boarding schools are the oldest and original Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia which can display a system that is well known for traditional and Islamic boarding schools can be interesting to study and research. Islamic boarding schools have a major influence on people's lives, especially because they grow and develop from and for the community itself. However, with the development of the times, pesantren have gradually responded to various social changes that have occurred by changing according to the needs of the community so that pesantren have experienced a shift from the effects of modernization. Likewise with the An-Najah Karduluk Islamic boarding school which carried out modernization. By using a qualitative case study approach. To find out how the Blajud Karduluk community perceives the modernization of traditional Islamic boarding schools at the An-Najah Islamic Boarding School which is described in two research focuses, namely: 1. What are the perceptions of the Blajud Karduluk community regarding the modernization of traditional Islamic boarding schools, a case study of An-Najah Islamic Boarding School 2. What are the forms of modernization efforts An-Najah traditional Islamic boarding school. The results of the analysis found that the perceptions of the Blajud Karduluk community regarding the modernization of traditional pesantren at An-Najah Islamic boarding school were getting good perceptions because of the support from the surrounding pesantren community by changing the salaf system to a modern system (formal education). In addition, there are forms of efforts to modernize the traditional pesantren itself, there are formal schools, namely PAUD, RA, MI, MTs, & MA and extracurricular activities that hone the brain abilities and skills of students, namely drumband, scouts, computer tutoring, 2 language courses (Bahasa English & Arabic) and so on with this is evidence of the reforms carried out by the pesantren.

Abstract

This paper explains about a leader of a family or a country who not only holds power to communicate goals which create an inspiring vision while engaging people. It attempts to enlighten leadership throughmanaging the system by doing the right thing to promote a healthy norm highlighting a good leader as an end product of a good follower. But nowadays, the gen-Ys are causing worries to their elder ones. Therefore, to accommodate local contributions, it is suggested that leaders develop regular feedbacks at the same time improve leadership styles. Personal and professional changes create risk upon considering a successful plan though core beliefs in common practice is a combination of accepting unity and seeking room for tolerating individual differences. The complexity of responsibility truly depends on how a leader response towards an impactful scenario. The question is, what is causing social illness in the middle of Islamic Civilization? What are the qualities of a leader? Through a content analysis based research, the 5 element of Maqasid Syariah explores genuine guidelines toward understanding and recognizing religiosity while embracing and living with it leads a leader better. It tells about how a sustainable ummah relies solely on a knowledge-based society in order to enhance tolerance. Realistically, knowing alone is never enough. Upon that, this paper provides evidence that being mindful of other aspects of life reflects on the state of self actualization. Even then, gaining insights only blaze on facts rather than achievements. That rationalizes the reason and importance of being a creative and critical thinker as a Muslim leader. The implication of the findings are discussed through a list of agenda among the Muslim leaders that is to stabilize a culture of Taqwa in people’s behavior with the hope of creating a better place for ASEAN community.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas tentang kawin Cina Buta disebut juga dengan nikah muhallil atau nikah tahlil di Lombok yang didasarkan pada misinterpretasi terhadap teks al-Quran dan hadis Nabi. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, data penelitian ini bersumber dari dari wawancara dengan tokoh agama dan tokoh adat dan dokumentasi yang terkait dengan tema penelitian. Artikel menunjukkan bahwa Becina Buta merupakan tafsir lokalitas masyarakat terhadap ajaran Islam. Dalam konteks Islam, suami isteri yang bercerai karena talaq tiga, haram rujuk (menikah kembali) kecuali jika mantan isterinya telah menikah dengan laki-laki lain (Pilalang/Muhallil) dan kemudian keduanya bercerai. Dalam praktiknya, nikah muhallil di rekayasa dan terdapat perjanjian antara mantan suami (Muhallal lah) dan Pilalang terkait dengan upah, hubungan seksual, dan jangka waktu perkawinan. Meskipun diterima sebagai solusi atas persoalan perkawinan, namun praktik ini kontroversial dalam masyarakat Sasak. Becina Buta dianggap sebagai aib sosial, sehingga pelaksanaan perkawinan, perceraian, dan rujuk kembali dilakukan secara tertutup, hanya melibatkan orang tertentu, dan dalam waktu singkat. Studi ini menguatkan kajian sebelumnya bahwa kawin cina buta di tolak oleh para tokoh agama (Tuan Guru) dan tokoh adat karena bertentangan dengan ketentuan agama. Pemahaman tekstual literal terhadap teks al-Quran dan hadis Nabi berdampak terhadap praktik becina buta yang bertentangan dengan hadis lain tentang larangan  perkawinan yang tidak jujur, tidak serius, dan penuh permainan. Allah bahkan melaknat para pelaku baik muhallil maupun muhallal lah. Pernikahan ini termasuk nikah dulsa, perkawinan yang penuh dengan kezaliman, penghianatan dan penipuan, sehingga bertentangan tujuan perkawinan dalam Islam untuk menciptakan keluarga sakinah mawaddah warahmah.

Abstract

Sufi behavior is a noble act, because in daily implementation is the application of hakeki Islamic teachings. The purpose of such implementation is to reach the level of Ihsān. But at this time there is a wrong assumption about the stuffiness of Sufism, so there is an assumption that people who can carry out Sufism are only certain people. So this, can be an obstacle for people who want to apply it in everyday life, especially teenagers. To find out more about it, researchers use a qualitative research approach that is the study of figures. The methods used are verstehen methods, interpretation, history, description, and induction. From this method, researchers then analyzed the existing data, so that some concepts of Muhammad Idris Jauhari's thinking, including to apply Sufi behavior during adolescence is not an obstacle for a teenager, because basically humans are created to worship Him. With regard to the application of Sufi behavior during adolescence is very appropriate to do for a teenager. Which at this time is a time of very productive development, if not built properly morally it will have an impact on the next phase. Therefore, it is very fitting that the application of Tasawuf akhlaki that prioritizes moral aspects.

Abstract

Elections in Madura reveal a paradox between deeply rooted traditions of peace and recurring practices of electoral violence. While the community is often characterized by strong social solidarity, religiosity, and cultural cohesion, episodes of violence frequently accompany political contests, especially during elections. This study explores three primary factors driving electoral violence in Madura: First, the patron-client culture that enables political mobilization through influential religious and local figures (kiai and blater), Second, the transformation of traditional familial solidarity (taretan) into partisan fanaticism, resulting in social conflicts, and third, the political economy of poverty, which fosters transactional politics and vote-buying. Using a qualitative approach and secondary data sources, this article argues that such violence stems from political rivalry and entrenched social structures, economic inequalities, and weak local law enforcement. The study highlights the need to strengthen electoral institutions, improve political literacy, and engage local leaders constructively to restore a culture of peaceful and participatory democracy in Madura.

Abstract

Writing is regarded one of the most pivotal English language abilities. Different researchers agree that writing in English as a second or foreign language (ESL/EFL) environment is a challenging process involving social, environmental, motivational, and perceptive concerns. This is really appropriate for the teachers to give some feedbacks to the learners who learn writing using online as the teachers can control and treat the learners based on the ability they have. teacher feedback is an essential part of the process method since it helps students discover their strengths and weaknesses while also motivating them during the writing process. The focus of this research is on the teacher’s feedback during the writing evaluation, as demonstrated by the form, types, platform, and reactions of the students and the reason for the feedback provided. A survey with a quantitative methodology was used in this study. This survey included English teachers from Blitar's vocational high schools. In this study, the purposive sampling approach is applied. Because of their diverse goals and techniques, the researchers chose eight vocational high schools to study. As a result, such schools’ student demographics were diversified. They also required the services of more than one English teacher. Twenty English teachers participated in the poll. Teachers were asked to fill out a questionnaire in order to submit the data. The researchers created closed-ended and open-ended surveys with Google Forms.

Abstract

Pension funds are a funding system in forming accumulated funds. This is needed to maintain continuity of income and work security. The potential for pension funds can support the growth of consumer financing for Indonesian Islamic banks. With this, in order to achieve maximum results it is necessary to have a marketing mix which is one of the marketing strategies to convey information widely, introduce a product and service, stimulate consumers to give and even create personal preferences for the image of a product. Therefore, the marketing mix is considered as one of the most potential strategic elements in marketing products. This study aims to determine the application of the marketing mix for pension financing BSI KCP Sumenep Trunojoyo 1, both in terms of price, low administrative costs and competitive profit sharing, as well as promotions used. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with data collection techniques which include observation, interviews, and documentation. Implications of the marketing mix in increasing customer interest in retirement financing Bank Syariah Indonesia KCP Sumenep Trunojoyo 1 implements the 4P marketing mix strategy (product, price, place, promotion). The marketing strategy in dealing with competition for retirement financing products at Bank Syariah Indonesia KCP Sumenep Trunojoyo 1 uses a special attack strategy, namely direct visits to the residences of prospective customers and permanent customers

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to ascertain whether the moral education espoused in Surah Al-Isra' verses 23-27 is relevant in today's society, which is marked by a greater degree of technical progress. The purpose of this research is to examine the many possible precedents for the moral education principles found in the Qur'an. Research is done at libraries, and it may be done in a number of different ways, such as by collecting data, by reading scientific publications that lead to the topic of study, or by obtaining literary data. The value of moral education, as addressed in Al-Isra' verses 23-27, is examined using semiotic analysis, and the results show there may be a relationship between the importance of moral education and the development of the fifth industrial revolution. In particular, verses 23–27 of Surah Al-Isra' stress the following characteristics of moral education as comprising the value as mentioned therein: a) Respect for one's parents (ihsan) and avoiding making false claims about Allah are examples of Allah-honoring morals. b) Humility towards one's parents and regular prayer on their behalf are moral obligations. c) The duty to serve one's parents with integrity and to apologise to them for any wrongdoing on one's part. d) Let's make things simpler for our needy family. e) Adopting a frugal lifestyle and not wasting money or resources, which is important in the post-"4.0" era of industrialization: a) Changes in how individuals usually interact with one another. b) how far apart they keep themselves socially in modern society. c) Changes in conventional social practises. d) Changes in the accepted standards of hospitality in modern culture. e) Results and changes in people's social behaviours

Abstract

Tulisan ini menggambarkan munculnya primordialisme ekstrim di ruang public untuk kepentingan politik. Fenomena primodialisme ini lazim terjadi sejak masa Islam zaman sahabat hingga saat ini. Penggunaan agama sebagai legitimator kekuasaan atau sebaliknya, merupakan hal yang lazim terjadi dalam agama dan kekuasaan manapun. Tidak heran, penggunaan simbol-simbol agama dalam konteks politik semakin ke sini semakin canggih secanggih media yang melahirkannya. Alih-alih dapat dideskripsikan, manuver politik melalui media era millenial bahkan tak dapat dikendalikan oleh siapapun. Konten politik dan agama tak kalah seru memenuhi hampir setiap media dan aplikasi yang tersajikan dengan cepat dan mudah. Tak peduli seberapa kuat akurasi data yang disajikan, yang terpenting adalah semangat menemukan manuver baru dalam rangka mengalahkan yang lain dan menjadi paling eksis. Kelompok politik ekstrimis-religius memasang dan mengunduh sumber-sumber keagamaan dan menyajikannya dalam konteks kepentingan politik tertentu. Materi-materi yang diunduh dan dipasang biasanya berkaitan erat dengan tafsir al-Qur’an dan hadis nabi. Lebih dari 60% argumen politik yang dibangun biasanya didasarkan pada sumber tidak valid atau setidaknya hasil pemahaman kurang akurat atas hadis nabi dan peristiwa-peristiwa kenabian. Simbol-simbol kenabian atau yang mengidentikkan seseorang atau kelompok kepada yang paling mirip dengan nabi pun dilakukan, meski tidak lazim dan masih semu bagi pemahaman awam. Menempatkan simbol-simbol agama dalam spanduk politik, dan menggunakan instrument ulama yang paling sunnah sebagai instrument untuk meningkatkan elektabilitas politik. Telah terjadi pergeseran fungsi agama dari posisinya sebagai pembimbing menjadi hanya instumen untuk mendapatkan kepentingan kekuasaan politik semata.
