Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of learning motivation and problem-solving ability on the mathematics learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at SD N 2 Kutoharjo on multiplication material. The research method used in this study is a quantitative method with an ex post facto approach. The type of data in this study is primary data, namely data obtained directly from the field. Data were collected through a learning motivation questionnaire, a problem-solving ability test, and mathematics learning outcome scores on multiplication material. Data analysis was carried out through inferential analysis consisting of normality tests, linearity tests, and multicollinearity tests. Then it was continued with multiple regression analysis, followed by hypothesis testing through the T-test, simultaneous F-test, and coefficient of determination. The results of the study indicate that learning motivation does not have a significant effect on the mathematics learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at SD N Kutoharjo. Meanwhile, the problem-solving ability variable has a significant effect on the mathematics learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at SD N Kutoharjo.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the forms of language errors at the morphological level contained in the Padang Ekspres newspaper, September–October 2024 edition, with a focus on errors in the use of affixes including prefixes, suffixes, confixes, and affix combinations. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive method with a content analysis approach. Data collection and analysis were carried out on sentences in the education column containing morphological errors, then analyzed based on Wibowo's (2013) morphological theory. The results of the study show four types of affixation errors, namely 15 data in the use of prefixes including the prefixes me(N)-, di-, be(R)-, and se-; 8 data in the use of suffixes including the suffixes {-kan}, {-i}, and {-nya}; 2 data in the use of confixes, namely {ke-an} and {peN-an}; and errors in the use of affix combinations amounting to 2 data, including {me-kan} and {me-i}. Overall, 27 language errors were found at the morphological level. The conclusion of the study shows that the use of Indonesian in print media is still not fully in accordance with standard morphological rules, so that the results of this study can be used as evaluation material for journalists and editors to improve language accuracy in reporting

Abstract

One important field in Islamic religious education is fiqh, which studies Islamic laws concerning human relationships with Allah and with one another. Research conducted in class V at MI Al-Kausar Ponorogo shows that student learning achievements are below the minimum competency standard. This is due to a lack of understanding among students, a learning approach dominated by lectures, and a lack of variety in learning media. As a result, students quickly become bored and inactive in class. To overcome this problem, researchers suggest using Quizlet as a learning tool that makes fiqh lessons more interactive, independent, and enjoyable for students. This study used a quantitative approach and employed a real design of a pre-test and post-test control group. Simple random sampling was used to select 51 students. Data were collected using multiple-choice tests and analysed using SPSS 25. The results of the analysis using the Mann-Whitney nonparametric test show that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, with a Sig (2-tailed) value of 0.011 < 0.05. Thus, the evidence shows that Quizlet is effective in improving students' understanding of Fiqh. The researcher suggests that teachers use it as a creative tool and students use it as a way to study independently.

Abstract

This study aims to design, test the feasibility, and determine the effectiveness of using concrete media-based picture cards in improving the learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 2 Ngabean in the subject of IPAS with the topic of Traditional Houses in Indonesia. The research method used is research and development (R&D). Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews, and learning outcome tests in the form of pre-tests and post-tests. Data analysis used descriptive quantitative analysis techniques to test the feasibility of the media and statistical tests in the form of Paired Sample T-Tests and N-Gain Scores to see the increase in learning outcomes. The results showed that the flash cards developed were considered very feasible to use based on expert validation. The effectiveness test results showed a significant increase in learning outcomes, with an average pre-test score of 45.14% increasing to 81.64% on the post-test. Based on the N-Gain Score calculation, the improvement found falls into the effective category for optimizing student understanding. The development of concrete media-based picture flash cards proved to be effective in improving IPAS learning outcomes in the subject of Traditional Houses in Indonesia in grade V at SD Negeri 2 Ngabean.

Abstract

Inclusive education in today's society is increasingly gaining ground, as awareness of equal rights and obligations grows. Gender equity has become a particularly compelling theme. Sumba Island, known for its strong patriarchal cultural practices, possesses a wealth of local wisdom that deeply protects and honors women as individuals worthy of respect. The legend of the origin of the rice plant is one example of local wisdom that deeply appreciates women's integrity in building a shared life. The purpose of this study is to build awareness of inclusion in Sumba, where women's presence is often overlooked in daily cultural practices and often treated unfairly. This study used a qualitative method with an ethnographic approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with informants consisting of community leaders and traditional elders. Data were analyzed descriptively and qualitatively. The results of this study indicate that, from the legend of the Origin of the Rice Plant, the Sumbanese actually highly value and give a special place to women. This means that from the beginning, women in Sumbanese culture have been highly respected. Any recent practice of injustice against women is a violation of that culture itself.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the internalization of local wisdom-based entrepreneurial values ​​through classroom learning in the entrepreneurship course at the Islamic Education Management (MPI) Department. The research method used was a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection techniques included interviews, observation, and documentation. Data were analyzed through several stages, starting with data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions/verifying the findings. The results of the study indicate that the internalization of entrepreneurial values ​​applied in the Islamic Education Management Department through adaptive classroom learning in the entrepreneurship course. The internalized values ​​are independence, creativity, courage to initiate, and risk-taking, centered on actions (application), leadership (cooperation), and hard work. The stages of internalization include role models, guidance, direction, and mentoring.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the actualization of inclusive values in multi-religious schools from a multicultural education perspective. A qualitative approach with a library research method was employed. Data were collected through a systematic literature search of relevant scholarly journal articles and academic books, selected using inclusion and exclusion criteria. Data analysis was conducted using content analysis and thematic analysis to identify key concepts, patterns, and major themes related to the implementation of inclusive values. The findings indicate that inclusive values are effectively actualized through the integration of values into learning processes, the strengthening of teachers’ roles as agents of multicultural education, and the development of dialogical and equitable school culture and policies. This study concludes that multicultural education serves as a practical framework for building an inclusive educational ecosystem in multi-religious schools rather than merely a normative discourse.

Abstract

The study of spatial inequality as a unique study of the discipline of geography that can be embedded in geography textbooks. Currently, geography textbooks in high schools are considered to still focus on instilling complex scientific concepts and are still not contextual, and there is little encounter of actual problems and understanding of local geography. This is very different when compared to geography textbooks used by students in various countries, referring to "Geography for Life" which is more adapted to the current and future needs of students. This study was conducted with the aim of determining the development of the concept of geography textbooks that include the problem of spatial inequality at the high school level. The research method used a literature study to form a good textbook concept that is ready to be developed. The results of the study indicate that the development of textbooks can be done by considering various technical matters related to the embedding of theory and practice that are adapted to the applicable curriculum. It is concluded that the development of the concept of textbooks containing the problem of spatial inequality is carried out systematically to meet students' learning needs.

Abstract

This study looks at how fourth-grade pupils at Jetakwanger Elementary School in Blora Regency learn mathematics in relation to their motivation and interest in the subject. All fourth-grade children served as the sample for this study, which employed a quantitative correlational design with saturation sampling. Students' math performance was noted, and data was gathered using a questionnaire that assessed learning motivation and interest. Descriptive and inferential statistical techniques were used to assess the data in order to spread the hypothesis that was provided. The findings demonstrated that students' drive to study had a substantial impact on their learning achievements in mathematics. Learning interest also has a big impact on math achievement. Additionally, learning motivation and curiosity have a major impact on students' learning results in mathematics. This study came to the conclusion that raising student interest and engagement is necessary to improve math skills in primary schools. Abstract

This study aims to examine the construction of collocations in the language of shampoo, soap, fabric softener, and cosmetic product advertisements. The method used is descriptive qualitative with data in the form of verbal utterances of advertisements collected through documentation techniques and limited corpus recording. The analysis was carried out by identifying and classifying lexical and grammatical collocations and interpreting their meanings. The results of the study indicate that lexical collocations are more dominant, especially in the patterns of verb + noun, noun + adjective, and adjective + noun, which function to strengthen persuasive messages and brand image.
