Abstract

In utilising social media as a means of product promotion, a brand can collaborate with an influencer and/or famous artist to market the brand's products. The use of analytic tools can make a business or brand effective by looking at consumer communication, whether the brand's marketing has a good or bad impact on its target market. This social media analytics activity is concerned with collecting data from relevant social media, analysing the data collected, and disseminating the findings accordingly to support their business activities. The purpose of this seminar is to assist partners in increasing their knowledge about social media analysis and social media analytics using tools, also for partners to have the ability to make decisions based on the results of analyses on social media. After the seminar, the partners are expected to reflect on how the use of social media has changed the way they communicate, interact with others, and access information. This can be a strong basis for personal reflection on the positive and negative impacts of social media in their lives.

Abstract

The aging process is a natural stage in human life which is accompanied by physical, cognitive and social changes. In this context, the elderly are a population that requires special attention to ensure optimal quality of life. The social aspect of this activity includes exploring social support networks and participation in community activities. Detailed analysis of how social relationships influence the well-being of older adults is an important element in understanding the social impact of the aging process. An elderly home or nursing home is a place of care that is built specifically to provide housing, care and support to elderly people who need more attention for various reasons, such as declining physical or mental health, dependence on care, or lack of adequate family support. “Berbagi Kebahagiaan Bersama Lansia: Membangun Keterlibatan Sosial dan Kesejahteraan Melalui Kegiatan Positif” aims to create a creative activity space where the elderly can participate in various artistic and social activities. The methods used are observation, interviews, implementation methods include observing the implementation location, discussions with the administrators of elderly homes, carrying out BERKREASI activities by doing gymnastics and singing together. The program covers key aspects of creative programming, including event design, senior participation and health impacts. The results of the BERKREASI activity include making the elderly move healthily through exercise, increasing the enthusiasm and joy of the elderly through games with prizes and entertaining the elderly through singing together.

Abstract

This paper aims to increase students' understanding of Tarakanita 2 Pluit High School regarding the benefits, network analysis and long-term impact of social media connections. The problems identified involve students' lack of understanding of the positive and negative benefits of social media network analysis. Community education methods were chosen as the main approach to achieve this goal. This method involves a seminar activity entitled "Analyzing Networks: A Study of Social Media Network Analysis," which was held on November 15 2023, and was attended by 26 grade 11 students. The focus of this activity was to provide an in-depth understanding of the basic introductory material, characteristics, and methods of social media network analysis. The proposed solution includes three main stages: presentation of the material, practical test demonstration, and awareness of the long-term benefits of social media connections. The material presented includes information regarding the positive and negative benefits of social media network analysis, characteristics of social networks, and analytical methods used to understand relationships between individuals in cyberspace. The practical test demonstration involves student interaction in analyzing social media networks directly. Awareness of the long-term benefits of social media connections is the final focus, with the aim of changing students' mindsets regarding the long-term impact of their online activities. As a result of this activity, it is hoped that there will be an increase in digital literacy and understanding of teenagers' social media, as well as providing deeper insight into relationships between individuals in cyberspace. Thus, this paper contributes to building positive awareness of social media use among high school students.

Abstract

In 2023, WHO shows that 1.28 billion people in the world suffer from hypertension. 2018 Riskesdas data shows that prevalence of hypertension in Indonesia reached 34.1%, and data from the Indonesian Ministry of Health shows that prevalence of hypertension in Jakarta Capital Special Region reached 33.4%. Hypertension is a non-communicable disease (NCD) that continues to increase in developed and developing countries, including Indonesia. This community service program aims to educate the congregation about hypertension at GKI Terate, West Jakarta. Through this activity, the congregation at GKI Terate is expected to take promotive and preventive measures for hypertension. Thus, this activity can help fulfill the SDGs target in Indonesia, significantly reducing premature death rates due to non-communicable diseases. The methods used are anthropometric measurements, short interviews, education, and knowledge tests. The results of hypertension education activities which were measured through pre-test and post-test using statistical calculations did not show significant differences in knowledge. Although the results did not show a difference in knowledge scores, there was an increase in the range of knowledge scores on hypertension. In general, the knowledge of the GKI Terate congregation regarding the topic of hypertension is in the reasonably good category. Follow-up efforts still need to be carried out through regular education to increase promotive and preventive measures to control hypertension in the future.

Abstract

Public Speaking or what is more commonly called public speaking skills is one of the skills that must be possessed in today's global era. Public speaking (public speaking skill) is the ability to speak in front of many people, both in closed and open spaces. In an effort to improve communication skills, public speaking skills are one of the soft skills that children need to have (Turistiati, 2019). This is also a challenge for the Child-Friendly Integrated Public Spaces of Amanah Bunda in Tanjung Duren. Therefore, this skill must be prepared, nurtured, and developed from an early age. For children who are used to expressing opinions, they are able to express and develop their potential from an early age and this can become a skill that will help them in the future. Public Speaking skills are really needed by students because they can help students with presentations and organizational skills. Therefore, Public Speaking must be trained and instilled in children as early as possible

Abstract

AHU (Air handling unit) is a mechanical system installed in buildings to regulate indoor air conditions. AHU works by taking air from outside and flowing it through a filter to remove existing particles such as dust, pollen and other pollutants. AHU maintenance in hotel buildings is a routine thing that is carried out to maximize the performance of the AHU. AHU is one of the key components in the HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air conditioning) system which is responsible for air circulation in the building. Engineering at the hotel carries out maintenance, namely cleaning filters, cooling coils and strainers. Cleaning the AHU greatly influences the temperature produced by the AHU itself. If the filter and cooling coil are covered by existing pollutants, it will be very difficult for the cooling coil to produce cold even though the chiller water supply has met the desired cold standards. Engineering at Hotel S carries out maintenance on the AHU, namely cleaning at least once a month to minimize damage to the AHU and also the temperature produced by the AHU itself remains at the desired stable temperature. The implementation method is action research to solve problems or improve certain situations. The results obtained are that proper and regular maintenance of the AHU is very important to ensure indoor air quality remains good, maintain guest comfort, and increase energy efficiency, because guest comfort is a top priority at Hotel S.

Abstract

The implementation of Design Thinking in Sustainable Fashion product development is key to creating environmentally friendly garments that cater to consumer needs. The primary focus lies in utilizing leftover fabric and adopting zero-waste pattern techniques. Through in-depth interviews with the target market, we identified the demand for clothing that is not only sustainable in terms of materials but also functional across various activities. Design Thinking is employed in product development to ensure each item not only meets sustainability standards but is also relevant and beneficial to consumers. Findings indicate that this approach generates products responsive to market needs, integrating sustainability, design creativity, and consumer requirements. Therefore, the incorporation of Design Thinking concepts in the fashion industry contributes to shifting paradigms towards more sustainable practices oriented around consumer needs   ABSTRAK Penerapan Design Thinking dalam pengembangan produk Sustainable Fashion menjadi kunci dalam menciptakan pakaian yang ramah lingkungan dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan konsumen. Abstract

The state is intensifying taxes, becoming the main source of income. All taxpayers who have a NPWP are expected to be able to calculate and report their tax bills. Tax collection system: self-assessment system requires taxpayers to report and remit their own taxes. Information regarding tax return article 21 is very useful if given early, starting from the family environment, school environment, to the general public. The Directorate General of Taxes has developed many programs that are used to provide basic information about taxes to the public from elementary schools to universities. At the basic level, namely schools, students can be given information about the important role of taxes in servicing the need for educational facilities such as: school buildings, learning facilities, operational funds for school activities, salaries for teachers and employees, and others, all of these needs will be met by state tax revenue. It is hoped that we will understand the importance of becoming a tax-compliant citizen in the future. The main PKM material that we will prepare to implement is training on the importance of understanding reporting and how to calculate Tax SPT article 21 for Indonesian citizens who have a NPWP for HARJA SMA students. Based on the above, we will provide problem solving by conducting training on how to calculate Article 21 tax returns for individual taxpayers. The implementation methods that will be used in this training include: First, conducting observations and interviews as well as observations regarding the extent to which students gain knowledge about Tax SPT article 21. Second, material regarding Tax SPT article 21 is prepared accompanied by examples of tax case questions. Third, we will explain the Module in a tutorial in two training sessions. Fourth, in the third or final training, we will give a quiz to find out how far the children understand the explanation we have given. In addition, we will also ask students to fill out a questionnaire to assess their satisfaction with the training provided. The outputs of this PKM activity are: Publications at SERINA and Posters at Research Week held by Tarumanagara University as well as HKI as additional outputs.

Abstract

In the era of information and globalization that continues to grow, understanding financial reports has become an essential skill for the next generation. Financial reports are an alternative to determine the financial health of a company. By realizing how important financial reports are, we intend to deepen the material at Tarsisius 1 High School, West Jakarta. This is because the current high school education curriculum teaches accounting material in class XII so the material explained is less detailed. In fact, basic accounting material is an important foundation for accounting knowledge which should be taught from the start of high school. The deepening of this material was carried out at Tarsisius I High School, West Jakarta with a total of 10 meetings with a duration of one hour and thirty minutes, to be precise every Wednesday from 14.30 WIB to 16.00 WIB. The deepening of the material regarding financial reports was carried out at the 5th meeting on Wednesday, October 4 2023. This study begins with an introduction to the theory of financial reports, discussion of example questions, and implementation of a quiz with prizes. The material discussed in this activity includes the meaning of financial reports, the purpose of making financial reports, the types and differences of each financial report, and procedures for preparing financial reports. After the in-depth study of this material is complete, Tarsisius High School students will receive benefits in the form of increased knowledge and insight. Apart from that, students also have skills in preparing financial reports and are able to explain the relationship between financial reports and previous journals as a whole part of the service company's accounting cycle.

Abstract

The partner in this community service activity are hotels in the Jakarta Barat` areas. Partner leaders really pay attention to and maintain relationships with customers and suppliers, but considering the lack of administrative workers in managing payable accounts, partners are willing to collaborate with FEB UNTAR by providing opportunities for FEB UNTAR management students to do internships in the hotel industry. The method for implementing internship activities is carried out offline for six months. The schedule for implementing internship activities is from Monday to Friday, starting from nine in the morning to six in the afternoon. One of the activities carried out is studying accounts payable from the purchasing aspect in receiving goods and invoices, supporting documents in payment procedures to suppliers, and the important role of Accounts Payable in the finance department. The results obtained by the partners were very satisfied with the intern students' persistence in checking data related to the smooth running of activities in the accounts payable department. Apart from earning additional income, intern students also get additional information about the importance of the role of accounts payable in handling accounts payable to ensure smooth company cash flow. The Accounts Payable Department needs to implement procedures for orderliness and completeness of documents before checking by senior accountants, verifying documents, recording data and market list documents, as well as making payments Mitra pada kegiatan abdimas ini adalah hotel di wilayah Jakarta Barat.
