Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of population growth rates and poverty on economic growth in North Sumatra Province for the 2012-2023 period. The research method used is a quantitative method. The regression analysis method is multiple linear regression using the Eviews 12 program and the data used is a time series from 2012-2023 sourced from the North Sumatra Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS SUMUT). The results of the analysis show that the variable values of population growth rate and poverty have a positive but not significant effect on economic growth in North Sumatra.

Abstract

Early English reading skills of early childhood children require creativity from parents and educators in developing recycling-based learning media (recycle system). This study is an experimental study with the One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design model. This study uses one group and conducts a pretest before being given treatment, followed by a posttest. The sampling technique uses the technique total sampling Which covers all over child group B in Early Childhood Education RA Al-Musabbihin with 20 children. The results of the research data analysis showed a determination level of 40.6%, which means that there is a significant influence on learning media based on the recycle system on the early English reading skills of early childhood children at Paud Baitul Amal. Thus, educators can utilize the recycle system to fulfill early English reading learning media in early childhood education.

Abstract

The mismatch between competence and job requirements is the cause of rampant unemployment. Moreover, an imbalance between demand and supply, as well as the quality of human resources is produced. The edupreneur program in the Early Childhood Teacher Education (PGPAUD) study program can equip graduates to be more competitive, especially looking for jobs with competency. This research aims to develop an educational game tool (APE) in the form of APE Golf as a form of entrepreneurship education program (edupreneur) in the PGPAUD study program. The method used is Borg and Gall research and development. The development of APE Golf was carried out in several stages, namely: the initial trial design stage given to material expert validators and media experts and the main field trial stage with 10 children. The results of this research indicate that APE golf is suitable to be used as an edupreneur program for students and prospective teachers in the PGPAUD Study Program. Testing APE golf with respondents can encourage student activity and develop fine and gross motor skills. APE golf can also be used as a learning medium in PAUD.

Abstract

Education is an important part for humans, if someone gets an education they will be able to develop the potential and talents that exist within them. The purpose of education is not only aimed at making someone literate, knowledgeable, or looking for a job. Learning activities affect the development and mindset of students, to achieve educational goals, teachers must be able to organize and manage classes so as to create a learning environment that allows students to learn well. This research uses the method of literature study. The research results are based on data from each article, the topic of which is classroom management strategies in improving learning achievement. As a class manager, the teacher has a strategic role including planning and carrying out activities with subjects and objects being students, determining and making decisions about strategies to be used for various activities, and providing alternative solutions to class problems and difficulties, cooperation skills are very important in education, both inside and outside of school. In explaining learning material, the teacher's voice must be in intonation, volume, pitch, and speed.

Abstract

A developed and rapidly developing nation is one of the strategies implemented through character education with an honest, creative attitude and a sense of responsibility. The challenge in the current era of globalization is that character formation has not been realized due to a lack of control from parents and the environment, basically they are used to lying, low ethics and morals, loss of identity, rampant crime has penetrated every part of social life, hence the obligation of the education process. The real obstacle is that educational institutions use the metaphor of human resource (HR) products as having complete competence, known as the popular name digitalization competence in the 5.0 era. fundamental changes are inversely proportional to previous life governance. Educational science is a one-on-one medicine for diagnosing social ills in society from small to large circles. This research has a target regarding how teachers develop character education for students at State Elementary School 060970 Medan City. The method used in this research is qualitative description. The samples in the research were educators, homeroom teachers and students at State Elementary School 060970 Medan City. The instruments in this research are questionnaires to measure character education, stationery and video equipment. Research data was obtained through an interview and observation process. This research obtained results in the form of several students having positive and negative character education. Based on the results of interviews with educators and class teachers, character education planning is very effective, this is in line with national education goals, character education goals and the vision and mission of school 060970 SDN Medan CityKeywords: Analysis, Character Education, Students, Elementary School Teachers.

Abstract

Optimizing time management is an important aspect in the lives of students in Islamic boarding schools, where good time management can improve the quality of learning, worship, and student welfare. This service aims to improve students' time management through the implementation of an effective daily activity schedule. Through initial observations, it was found that many students had difficulty in managing their time in a structured manner. Therefore, this activity involved compiling a daily activity schedule that included time for studying, worship, rest, and social activities. The implementation of the schedule was carried out for one month and was evaluated through interviews and observations. The results showed that students felt more disciplined, organized, and had more optimal time to study and rest. However, several improvements related to the duration of rest and flexibility of study time still need to be made. Overall, the implementation of a daily activity schedule has proven effective in helping students optimize their time management in Islamic boarding schools.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve the competence and productivity of teachers and employees of Islamic boarding schools through mentoring in Human Resources (HR) management. In this activity, an initial assessment was carried out to identify development needs, followed by training in technical skills, time management, and the use of technology in learning. Mentoring also includes coaching and mentoring sessions to strengthen managerial skills and increase motivation and job satisfaction. The results of this activity showed a significant increase in teaching competence, classroom management, and use of technology. In addition, the work productivity of participants also increased, reflected in increased time efficiency and quality of work. Participants' job satisfaction increased, which contributed to the creation of a more positive work environment. Overall, this mentoring succeeded in providing a positive impact on teachers and employees of Islamic boarding schools in improving the quality of work and management of Islamic boarding schools, as well as supporting the achievement of goals.

Abstract

The Organizational Management and Leadership Workshop for Students to Improve the Independence of Islamic Boarding Schools aims to improve the managerial and leadership skills of students in managing Islamic boarding schools. Through various methods such as simulations, group discussions, and role plays, workshop participants gain a deeper understanding of financial management, activity planning, and efficient and effective decision-making. In addition, participants are also trained in communication, team collaboration, and the preparation of action plans to improve the independence of Islamic boarding schools, especially in terms of economy. This activity also emphasizes the importance of the active role of students in every decision-making process and management of Islamic boarding schools. Although challenges in implementing the material still exist, especially related to changes in the organizational culture of more traditional Islamic boarding schools, this workshop provides a strong foundation for the development of more independent Islamic boarding schools. To ensure sustainability, continued mentoring and collaboration with external parties such as the business world and government are needed. Overall, this workshop helps create skilled Islamic boarding school leaders, not only in the fields of religion and education, but also in professional management and leadership.
