Abstract

Abstract: A Model for Early Childhood Education in Coastal Areas in South Sulawesi. This study aims at exploring the early childhood education in coastal areas in South Sulawesi. The research data were collected through focus group discussion, in-depth interviews, and documentation involving parents, kindergarten teachers, and community leaders. The results provided a description of the attitudes and knowledge of parents about early childhood, the activities of parents in educating their young children, parents’ ways of child rearing, parents treatment of health and nutrition of young children, and parents and government/ private institutions in supporting the implementation of early childhood education. Abstrak: Model Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini pada Daerah Pantai di Sulawesi Selatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengeksplorasi pendidikan anak usia dini pada daerah pantai di Sulawesi Selatan. Subjek penelitian adalah orang tua, guru TK, dan  tokoh masyarakat.  Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan diskusi kelompok terarah, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian memberikan deskripsi sikap dan pengetahuan orang tua tentang anak usia dini, pelaksanaan kegiatan orang tua dalam mendidik anak usia dini, pola asuh orang tua, perlakuan orang tua terhadap kesehatan dan gizi anak usia dini, partisipasi orang tua/lembaga pemerintah/swasta dalam membantu pelaksanaan pendidikan anak usia dini. Abstract

Abstract: The Problem-Based Learning Integrating Media and Authentic Learning Resources Mathematics Instructios at Elementary School. This  research and development study aims at developing the teaching tools for Mathematics using problem-based learning model that utilizes media and authentic learning resources on the subject of fraction at elementary school. The results of limited tests indicate that the developed instruction device is practical and effective. The results of data analysis show that (1) the ability of teachers to manage the learning process is in the category “very high”, (2) the teacher can guide the group to work and learn, (3) in general, students respond positively to the learning, (4 ) the instruction devices make students more active in the learning process, and (5) the average score obtained by students on the achevement tests is 72.31 in the score range 0-100. Abstrak: Perangkat Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah yang Mengintegrasikan Media dan Sumber Belajar Autentik pada Pelajaran Matematika SD. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development) yang bertujuan mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran Matematika dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah yang memanfaatkan media dan sumber belajar autentik  pada pokok bahasan Pecahan SD. Hasil dari uji coba terbatas menunjukkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran yang dihasilkan telah bersifat praktis dan efektif. Hasil analisis data adalah sebagai berikut: (1) tingkat kemampuan guru dalam mengelola proses pembelajaran dalam kategori sangat tinggi; (2) guru dapat membimbing kelompok untuk bekerja dan belajar; (3) pada umumnya siswa memberikan respon yang positif terhadap perangkat pembelajaran; (4) perangkat pembelajaran menjadikan siswa  lebih aktif dalam proses pembelajaran; dan (5) skor rata-rata yang diperoleh siswa pada tes hasil belajar adalah 72,31 dari dari rentang skor 0-100.   Kata kunci: pembelajaran berbasis masalah, media dan sumber belajar autentik, Matematika SD

Abstract

The study aims to determine the effectiveness of the use of Edmodo as a media study review of the learning outcomes; Knowing the learning independence relationship with learning outcomes and Knowing the influence of hybrid learning on learning independence and learning outcomes. This is experimental method with  Non-Equivalent  Control  Group Design,  consists of four groups of treatment with varied hybrid learning proportions,  each  50% (meaning  50%  learning hybrid learning and  50%  face to face), 60% (meaning  60%  of hybrid learning and  40%  face to face),  and  70% (meaning  70%  hybrid learning and  30%  face-to-face),  and one  group of others is a  conventional group (only face to face),  this group as a  control group. Data Collection with questionnaires for learning independence and knowledge tests to determine learning achievement. The  results  showed: (1)  the  use  of  Edmodo  was  effective  in  enhancing  the  results  of  a  larger  experimental  class  learning  compared  to  the  control  class  so  that  learning  became  Optimal, (2) a  significant  relationship  of learning independence learning  with  learning  outcomes,  significance  0.000, (3)  there  is  a  difference  of  influence  of  significant  variation  of  hybrid  learning  to learning independence and  learning  outcomes,  with  significance  0,037

Abstract

Abstract. Cooperative Setting Problem-based Learning Model with the Concept Mapping Intervention (CSPBLM). The study aims at determining the effect of cooperative setting problem-based learning model intervened with concept mapping and scholastic aptitude on the student learning outcomes. This study employed quasi-experimental method with randomized control group posttest design. The data were subjected to descriptive and inferential statistical analysis. The results shows (1) CSPBLM intervened with concept mapping has positive impact on student learning outcomes, (2) CSPBLM intervened with concept mapping does not significantly affect the learning outcomes the students with high and moderate scholastic aptitudes, (3) CSPBLM intervened with concept mapping significantly influences the learning outcomes of low scholastic aptitude students, and (4) there is no difference of learning outcomes between the high and and moderate scholastic aptitude students, and between low and moderate scholastic aptitude students. Yet, there is a significant difference of learning  outcomes between the high and low scholastic attitude students. Abstrak. Model Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah Setting Kooperatif yang Diintervensi dengan Peta Konsep. Penelitian bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran berbasis masalah setting kooperatif yang diintervensi dengan peta konsep  dan bakat skolastik terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini termasuk  penelitian semi eksperimen (Quasy Exprimentation) dengan model Randomized Control Group Postest Design. Data dianalisis  secara deskriptif dan inferensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) PBMSK) yang diintervensi dengan peta konsep berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar siswa, (2) PBMSK yang diintervensi dengan peta konsep tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa berbakat tinggi dan sedang, (3) PBMSK yang diintervensi dengan peta konsep  berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa berbakat rendah, (4) tidak terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar antara siswa berbakat skolastik tinggi dan sedang, juga antara bakat skolastik rendah dan sedang, tetapi terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara bakat skolastik tinggi dan bakat skolastik rendah. Abstract

Virtual classroom is a teaching-learning situation where participants can interact with the tutor and electronic learning materials in an online setting. Thus, the study on gender equity and the use of virtual classroom needs to be addressed so as to ensure its full integration into the teaching-learning process. Therefore, this study geared towards determining gender gap in the lecturers’ use of virtual classroom in teaching-learning process. Participants were 117 lecturers (83 male lecturers and 34 female lecturers) from the Faculties of Education and, Communication and Information Sciences, University of Ilorin, Nigeria. The data collected through a questionnaire were analyzed using mean and t-test statistical tools. Findings revealed amongst others that virtual classroom enhanced teaching-learning process as perceived by lecturers. Also, majority of both male and female lecturers have positive attitude towards the use virtual classroom for bridging gender gap in teaching-learning process. Hence, the attitude of the lecturers towards the use of virtual classroom revealed a major implication that the lecturers are confronted with the network problem, which gives limitation to the use of virtual classroom. This underscores the need to support and provide virtual learning environment that would ease the use of virtual classroom for teaching-learning effectiveness

Abstract

The objective of this study is to find out the differences of parenting styles in rural and urban society toward with adolescent’s involvement in family decision making. This research using a cross sectional survey method and embracing the theories of Montessori, Steinberg and Santrock about adolescent development, and Yusuf in parenting styles. The instrument used was adapted from the Alabama Parenting Questionnaire. It was consisted of 13 questions they were independency, responsibility, honesty, self-acceptance, receiving mistakes, trust, protection, freedom, involvement, and discipline. The result of rural society was the highest maximum value on the acceptance question (59%), namely admitting mistakes. For urban society data showed that the highest score of the questionnaire is about the parenting style of acceptance with a value of 62%. This meant that the result of the parenting style the child receives was the permissiveness style of care. The conclusion based on the area the urban society is more democratic in parenting. It makes teenagers more independent, confident and open minded

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the implementation of the strategy of zone-based lesson study by exchanging teachers in order to improve teacher performance, including (1) designing RPPs in accordance with the Circular Letter (SE) of the Indonesian Ministry of Education and Culture (Mendikbud) No. 14 of 2019 concerning the Simplification of RPPs (lesson plans); (2) designing teaching materials such as UKBM (Self-Study Activity Unit) and LKPD (Student Worksheet); (3) implementing Freedom to Learn (FTL); and (4) increasing student participation during FTL. Besides, the strategy can also prepare teachers to become zone organizer teachers. Data were collected for two cycles in which each cycle had two meetings. Data were analyzed through reduction, interpretation, inferences, follow-up, and conclusion. The research subjects were the best quality teachers in their subjects: 1 Biology teacher and 1 History teacher from three schools in cycle 1; and 1 Math teacher and 1 Sociology teacher from two schools in cycle 2. The number of schools where treatments were given in cycle 2 was reduced to follow SK (decree) issued at the end of cycle 1, stating that one of the schools is beyond the target school area. Results showed that the strategy of zone-based lesson study by exchanging teachers can facilitate the improvement of teacher’s performance quality, the path for teachers to become zone organizers, and the work production for professional development as a result of collaboration between supervisors, principals, and teachers

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to examine how the motivation of academic services for educators and education personnel in higher education. The findings of this study are expected to become recommendations in developing programs or forms of evaluation aimed at improving the performance and motivation of academic services for teaching staff and teaching staff in tertiary institutions. This research is a survey research which aims to determine the general description of the motivation for academic services for teaching staff and teaching staff at state universities. Based on the research findings obtained, it can be concluded that from the 4 dimensions of motivation for public services, the first dimension, namely the interest in making public policy, is the dimension least owned or implemented by the research respondents. While the other three dimensions can be said to be in the high category in the sense that the respondents already have and have implemented these three dimensions in the delivery of public services. Based on these data, it can be concluded that the lack of motivation for academic services by the state civil servants tends to be due to their lack of interest in public policy making. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Blended Learning dalam pembelajaran lay up shoot pada siswa SMAN 13 Bone. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan subjeknya adalah kelas X MIA V SMA Negeri 13 Makassar dengan jumlah 28 siswa dengan komposisi perempuan 12 orang dan laki-laki 16 orang. Objek Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) ini adalah motivasi siswa dalam meningkatkan kemampuan melakukan Lay Up Shoot dalam pembelajaran bolabasket siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 13 Bone. Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dilaksanakan melalui dua. penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisa kuantitatif dan deskriptif kualitatif.Hasil Penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut : (1) diperlihatkan tingkat kemampuan melakukan lay up shoot untuk siklus pertama. 13 orang dengan presentasi 46 persen masuk dalam kategori Kurang, 9 orang dengan presentasi 32 persen masuk dalam kategori Baik dan 6 orang dengan presentasi 21 persen masuk dalam kategori sangat baik  (2) hasil tes akhir siswa pada siklus II menunjukkan peningkatan ketuntasan kelas yang tinggi tingkat kemampuan melakukan lay up shoot untuk siklus pertama. 6 orang dengan presentasi 21 persen masih masuk dalam kategori Kurang, 10 orang dengan presentasi 35 persen masuk dalam kategori Baik dan 12 orang dengan presentasi 42 persen sudah masuk dalam kategori sangat baikKesimpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah motivasi dan keseriusan mengikuti proses pembelajaran siswa melalui model pembelajaran  terbukti efektif dan mampu menaikkan hasil belajar serta motivasi dan keseriusan siswa, hal ini dapat dilihat dari kenaikan motivasi dan keseriusan siswa serta peningkatan kemampuan Lay Up Shoot  Abstract : This study aims to determine the effect of the Blended Learning Model in learning lay up shoot on students of SMAN 13 Bone.This study uses the Classroom Action Research method with the subject is class X MIA V SMA Negeri 13 Makassar with a total of 28 students with a composition of 12 women and 16 men. The object of this Classroom Action Research (CAR) is student motivation in improving the ability to do Lay Up Shoot in basketball learning for X grade students of SMA Negeri 13 Bone. Classroom Action Research (CAR) is carried out in two ways. This study uses quantitative and descriptive qualitative analysis techniques.The results of this study are as follows: (1) shown the level of ability to do lay up shoot for the first cycle. 13 people with a presentation of 46 percent are in the Poor category, 9 people with a presentation of 32 percent are in the Good category and 6 people with a presentation of 21 percent are in the very good category (2) the final test results of students in cycle II show an increase in high grade completeness the ability to do lay up shoot for the first cycle. 6 people with a presentation of 21 percent are still in the Poor category, 10 people with a presentation of 35 percent are in the Good category and 12 people with a presentation of 42 percent are already in the very good categoryThe conclusion in this study is the motivation and seriousness of participating in the student learning process through the learning model proved to be effective and able to increase learning outcomes as well as students' motivation and seriousness, this can be seen from the increase in students' motivation and seriousness as well as the increase in Lay Up Shoot ability.

Abstract

Abstract. In this study, career planning is one aspect of human development that lasts a lifetime. So that everyone needs to plan a career according to talents, interests, and potential. Based on Gardner's theory of multiple intelligence, everyone has several intelligence types that develop as a reflection of their talents, interests, and potential in solving problems. Generation Z as the generation that dominates in the digital technology era with unique and different characteristics from the previous generation, generation Z career planning needs to be implemented specifically. Therefore, this research aims to develop a valid and acceptable career planning model for Generation Z. This type of research is development research using the Borg & Gall (2003) development model. The career planning model for generation Z was validated by three guidance and counseling experts. The instrument used was a validity and acceptability test instrument consisting of aspects of feasibility, usability, content, appearance, and language. The results showed that the digital career planning model is valid and acceptable to be used and tested in small groups, namely users of the career planning model, namely counseling teachers and junior high school students.Â
