Abstract

Abstract. Positive feedback is one of the core strategies used to make educational environment and students’ learning outcomes better. This review aims at revealing the role of positive feedback in improving students’ psychological and physical learning outcomes. Meanwhile, it questions the efficiency of combining positive and negative feedbacks in order to provide better educational experience for students. The findings of the analysis reveal that there is positive relationship between positive feedback and students’ physical and psychological learning outcomes. More specifically, positive feedback is advantageous in increasing students’ motivation, confidence, self-efficacy and academic skills. Furthermore, the study also confirms the benefits of combining positive and negative feedbacks in order to improve students’ learning outcomes and advance their academic skills.

Abstract

This research aims to develop media learning based on e-learning using Edmodo in material consumption, savings, and investment. This research was conducted in the form of development through several steps that willproduce in the form of media-based learning e-learning interesting and effective.Results of research conducted development shows that the media e-learning usingedomodo on economic subjects has appeal, in the sense of getting a response that isof interest to students and is effectively used in the learning process of economic subjects because it can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the administratiion management at Madrasah Aliyah. This research was conducted with a qualitative descriptive approach. Data sourced from MA NIPA and MA NIPI RAKHA, Amuntai, South Kalimantan. Data collection techniques used in this study were (1) interview, (2) observation, and (2) documentation. Data were analyzed using a flow model of Miles and Huberman. The results showed that (1) the administrative management of madrasah aliyah are good category, (2) the principal role as managers and administrators with good category.

Abstract

This research is a Classroom Action Research which aims to improve students' entrepreneurial learning outcomes through the Constructivism Approach. The results of the analysis show that what is obtained from quantitative descriptive analysis are as follows: (1) There is an increase in student learning outcomes with the increasing number of students in the high category, namely in Cycle I 10 students (30%) and Cycle II 20 students or 70%. The average score of mastery of material has increased by 10.04 (10.04%). (2) Students' completeness of learning increases after being given learning by using the constructivism approach at each meeting in Cycle II. From the results of the above analysis it can be concluded that the constructivism approach can improve students' entrepreneurial learning outcomes.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to improve critical thinking skills and student learning independence using Problem Based Learning (PBL) models based on scientific literacy. The research used is PTK with 2 cycles and each cycle is carried out in 2 meetings, each meeting consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The tools used to collect data are written test questions, observation sheets of teacher and student activities, observation sheets for learning independence attitude, questionnaire on learning independence attitude scale, and documentation. Subjects in this study were 28 students. The results showed that the first cycle students gained critical thinking skills with an average of 2.6 with enough categories, increased in cycle II to 3.6 with good categories. Learning independence in cycle I gained an average of 3.85 in the good category and increased in the second cycle to 3.9 in the good category. This proves that with PBL based on scientific literacy can improve critical thinking skills and independence of learning.

Abstract

Abstract. E-Learning Based Science Instruction and its Effect on Attitudes, Interests, Motivation, and Achievement of Students with Special Needs. This research aims at producing a package of e-learning-based science instruction for students with special needs. The study employs research and development method consisting of three stages, namely (1) identification of learning needs, (2) development of strategies and instructional materials, and (3) evaluation and revision. Subjects for try-out were students in grade V Special Education School (SLB). The product of the study produced is a learning package called “E-learning-based Science Instruction Package for Students with Special Needs in South Sulawesi. The result of the limited field test shows a very good learning outcomes in terms of attitude, interest, motivation, and learning outcome. Abstrak. Pembelajaran Sains Berbasis E-learning dan Pengaruhnya Terhadap Sikap, Minat, Motivasi, dan Prestasi Belajar Siswa Berkebutuhan Khusus. Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan paket pembelajaran sain berbasis e-learning bagi siswa berkebutuhan khusus. Penelitian didesain dengan penelitian pengembangan melalui (1) identifikasi kebutuhan pembelajaran, (2) pengembangan strategi dan bahan pembelajaran, dan (3) evaluasi dan revisi. Subjek uji coba adalah siswa kelas V SLB. Penelitian ini menghasilkan produk yang diberi nama “Paket Pembelajaran Sains Berbasis E-learning (PPSBE) untuk Siswa Berkebutuhan Khusus SLB/SDLB Sulawesi Selatan”. Hasil uji lapangan terbatas menunjukkan hasil sangat baik dalam aspek sikap, motivasi, minat, dan prestasi belajar. Kata kunci: pembelajaran sains, e-learning, siswa berkebutuhan khusus

Abstract

In this study, the learning experience and its cognitive factors of Mathematics among senior high school students of Visayas State University were investigated using a correlational research approach.  A complete enumeration of 222 grade 11 and 12 senior high students in the second semester of school year 2018-2019 were used as the participants of the survey. Using a developed structured questionnaire, a primary data was employed. Results showed that the mathematics attitude of students influence their learning experience and academic performance. Mathematics anxiety has a negative effect on the students learning experience especially for females. However, mathematical resilience locates itself in a positive psychology which addresses mental wellness and makes the students positively perceived that mathematics is interesting even if it is challenging.  Also, results revealed that senior high school students are mostly visual learners in mathematics, which implies that students practice visualizing or pictures numbers/equations and other concepts in their mind. Furthermore, it can be gleaned that an academic performance is not just derived from study habits but to their motivation and interest in mathematics

Abstract

Abstract. Psychology-based Educational Games Equipment (EGE) Model for Developing Psychological Potential of Young Children. This research aims at developing a model of psychology-based educational games equipment. This study employs research and development model of Courseware Development Process (CDP) which comprises phases of analysis, design, prototyping, evaluas formative evaluation, implementation, and summative evaluation. The analysis phase reveals that (1) the implementation of early childhood education has not yet developed all psychological aspects, (2) facilities and infrastructure owned by several kindergartens and play groups have not met the minimum standard, and (3) the functions of psychology-based educational games can not be applied in several kindergartens and play groups. Abstrak. Model Alat Permainan Edukatif (APE) Berbasis Psikologis dalam Mengembang-kan Potensi Psikologis Anak Usia Dini. Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan model Alat Permainan Edukatif  Berbasis Psikologis. Penelitian ini menggunakan pedekatan ’penelitian pen-gembangan’ model Courseware Development Process (model CDP) yang terdiri atas fase analisis, perancangan, pembuatan prototipe, evaluasi formatif, penerapan dan evaluasi sumatif. Hasil anali-sis menunjukkan (1) penyelenggaraan PAUD belum mengembangkan semua aspek psikologis; (2) sarana dan prasarana yang dimiliki oleh beberapa TK dan play group belum terstandarisasi (3) fungsi alat permainan yang edukatif dan berbasis psikologis belum dapat diterapkan pada bebe-rapa TK dan play group.

Abstract

Abstract: The Development of Learning Tools in the Industry Electronics at Vocational Secondary School (SMK). This study aims at producing the learning tools in the Industry Electronics at SMK based on vocational school-based curriculum. The study was designed with a 4-D model development. Subjects were students SMKN 5 Makassar. The results show that learning tools for Industry Electronics have been produced which meet the validity criteria. The results also shows that about 86.84% of students complete individual learning, teachers effectively manage the instruction, activities of students are effective, and students respond positively to the instruction. Abstrak: Abstrak: Pengembangan Perangkat Pembelajaran Bidang Keahlian Elektronika Industri di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan perangkat Pembelajaran Bidang Keahlian Elektronika Industri  pada SMK berdasarkan KTSP. Penelitian didesain dengan model pengembangan 4-D. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa SMKN 5 Makassar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa  telah dihasilkan perangkat pembelajaran pada bidang keahlian elektronika industri yang memenuhi kriteria perangkat yang baik/valid. Pembelajaran bidang keahlian elektronika industri di kelas XI SMK Negeri 5 Makassar menunjukkan 86,84% siswa tuntas belajar individual, kemampuan guru mengelola pembelajaran efektif, aktivitas siswa efektif, dan respons siswa terhadap pembelajaran positif. Abstract

Early stages of reading and writing rest solely on the alphabet.  Learning of letters with infographics in the elementary classes makes learning more easy and meaningful.  The study examined the potentials of infographics in enhancing learning at an early childhood level especially on letters.  The researcher utilized experimental design which including pre and post-test. The package was validated by experts with a reliability coefficient of 0. 77. The findings of this study showed that the experimental group means a score of 30.60 is higher than the control group means a score of 30.50 co-efficient. Moreover, the means score of 30.742 for females and 30.345 for male pupils was obtained. The study concluded that children at the early childhood level could learn better using infographics based approach. It was recommended that incentives should be provided for pre-school teachers to participate in highly effective staff development to help them integrate infographics into their teaching and learning. Also, infographics based approach be used for all subjects in early childhood education in Nigeria
